Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the Rebo Wekasan tradition of theJavanese Tribe community. This tradition has been going on for a long time, carried outby the Javanese people. With the development of an increasingly advanced era of theWekasan Rebo tradition, there are a series of activities that are no longer carried out,such as eating diamonds and bathing on the safar, thereby diminishing the moral valuesthat exist in this Wekasan Rebo tradition. The purpose of this study was to find out howthe implementation and moral values in the Rebo Wekasan tradition in the Javanesepeople in Sungaicina Village, Rangsang Barat District, Meranti Islands Regency. Theresearch method uses descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques inthis study are Observation, Interview and Documentation. The informants in this studyused the snowball sampling technique so that as many as 7 people were collected,namely religious scholars, families who carry out the Rebo Wekasan tradition, villageyouth and local communities. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded thatthe implementation of the Rebo Wekasan tradition starts from praying, recitation,reading the prayer to reject reinforcements, taking water from the well and visiting thegrave. kinship such as praying together with a prayer to reject reinforcements in thehope that safety is given to all who carry out the Rebo Wekasan tradition, the moralvalue of friendship such as gathering in a place so that friendship is established and themoral value of harmony such as the existence of community, namely by bringing peopletogether in one activity, namely the Rebo tradition activity Wekasan.Key Words: Study, Moral Values, Tradition, Rebo Wekasan.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the traditional marriage culture of the people in Nagari Lubuk Basung which is starting to experience a shift. Based on the background and symptoms of the problems that the author has described, the problems that arise are what are the factors causing the shift in the Minangkabau marriage custom in Nagari Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency, West Sumatra? The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors causing the shifting of marriage customs in Lubuk Basung Nagari. In this research the writer will present the data is the result of research conducted by the author at the research location namely in Jorong IV Surabayo Nagari Lubuk Basung, where this research uses observation data collection techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. In this study, the population numbered 1563 households, the authors took a sample of 10% of the 1,563 population. Thus the number of samples in this study were 156 households as respondents for filling out the author's research questionnaire. The results of this study were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Quantitative descriptive analysis was conducted to obtain an overview of the respondents' answers to the research variables used. Based on the results of the research conducted, the factors that caused a shift in the Minangkabau marriage customs in Nagari Lubuk Basung were factors from outside the community as evidenced by the results of the calculation of respondents who answered "Yes" with a percentage of 51% in the range of 51% -100%, and the driving factors for the shift were proven. with the calculation results of respondents who answered "Yes'' with a percentage of 72.7% in the range 51% -100%. So it can be concluded that the factors causing the shift in the Minangkabau marriage customs in Nagari Lubuk Basung are factors from outside the community and the driving factors for the shiftKey Words: Shift, Custom, Marriage

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the perception of usual leaders. Implementation of the tradition of death ceremonies consisting of 3 levels of usual death of batak, namely matua sari, saur matua and mauli bulung, whether it remains good or there A shift has occurred in traditional ceremonies. Namely the role of Dalihan Natolu in the implementation of adat, the use of meat from slaughtered / farmed animals, used ulos, the fees used in large numbers in traditional ceremonies are reasonable or not. Regarding the research population, 34 figures and those who are aware of adat. by using qualitative approach techniques, (Sugiyono, 2015). Sugiyono, (2015) said that "said this qualitative study is a study that results in the form of written and oral words from the observed people". This technique for collecting data sets used is observation, questionnaires and interviews. When analyzing the data using qualitative descriptive data from Sugiyono (2015), namely the formula P = F / N X 100%. The results of this study indicate that the perception of students of Riau University about the functions of political parties in Indonesia is seen from the percentage of 90 respondents who are 3.27% for the bad category, 34.69% for the bad category , 52.72% for the good category and 9.32% for the excellent category. The results of testing hypotheses can then be accepted.Key Words : Comparative, Social Care

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the 4 pillars of the MPR RI to analyze theknowledge of PPKn students about the 4 pillars of the MPR RI, which is always carriedout in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education study program every year and isincluded in the annual calendar of the MPR RI. In this study, the component is aboutstudents which as the pillars of a nation's civilization, students have a strong andsuperior character. And to make this happen, apart from having a superior character, itmust also be accompanied by the 4 pillars of nationality so that our nation will be betterthan before by obtaining a developed country and a brighter future for the nation. TheFour Pillars of the MPR RI must continue to be carried out openly with a wider reach,so that students increasingly understand the values of the 4 Pillars of the MPR RI as thefoundation in the life of society, nation and state. The formulation of the problem in thisstudy is how the knowledge of PPKn FKIP students at the University of Riau about the4 Pillars of the MPR RI. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the datacollection instruments used in this research are questionnaires, interviews anddocumentation. The variable of this research is the Analysis of Knowledge of PPKnFKIP Students, University of Riau About the 4 Pillars of the MPR RI. which consists of4 indicators with a total of 23 questions based on Research Instruments. The populationin this study were PPKn FKIP students at the University of Riau with a total populationof 215 people. Sampling of the entire population was taken using the PurposiveSampling technique and to determine respondents consisting of 100 people with 50people from the 2018 class and 50 from the 2019 class. the results of research andrecapitulation that have been carried out by respondent researchers who answeredVery Know (ST) + Know (T) 51.14% + 40.33% = 91.47%. Thus, it can be concludedthat the Analysis of Knowledge of PPKn FKIP Students at the University of Riau aboutthe 4 Pillars of the MPR RI can be categorized as "Very Know" where the range of VeryKnow is at 75.01% - 100%.Key Words: 4 Pillars of MPR RI

Abstrak: This research is motivated phenomenon are still many students who are not able to carry out their work independently, such as making the bed individually, to prepare for school, set up a schedule of study and prayer. Independent attitude is very necessary is grown on each students themselves. The problem of this study is How Values Of Independent Character In Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. No matter the purpose of this study was to determine the Values Of Independent Character In Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted in Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City. The population in this study was 26 caretakers and 1,513 children in foster care. While the sampling technique in this research is total sampling techniques and sample proportional. Data collection techniques by observation, using a questionnaire, Interview, and documentation. In analyzing the data this study uses quantitative data analysis techniques. These results indicate that the Values Of Independent Character In Pesantren Dar El-Hikmah Tampan Subdistrict Pekanbaru City in the category GOOD with 42.32% and the percentage of category LESS WELL with the percentage of 57.68%. Then the hypothesis are accepted. Key Words: Values, Character, Independent .

Abstract

Abstract : This research is based on the low motivation of learning PPKn Grade VIII students in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. Symptoms shown by student quickly get bored in PPKn lesson assignments from 37% student, only 8 people who diligently deliver assignment on time. Only 27% of student in the class are interested ini studying PPKn, only active students are certain student, and that’s it, from the number of student in the class only 30% of student actively ask and give opinions. Student pay less attention to the material delivered because they feel bored with monotonous learning methods which are more dominated by teachers, so studnts, become less activeThat the formulation of the problem in this reseach is "Is there a significant effect of use True False Chain Learning Model (BSB) toward student motivation in learning PPKn at SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru? ". This study aims to determine the effect of using True False Chain (BSB) learning models toward student motivation in learning PPKn at SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in February 2019. This research was a quantitative descriptive study that was experimental.Population in This study were student of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The sample in this research was taken based on "Random Sampling" technique. Where the class taken into the sample was the student of class VIII student Hang Kasturi (experimental class) who where given the True False Chain learning model, and class VIII Hang Jebat (control class) were students who were given conventional method. Then data analysis using the homogeneity test and "t" test. Based on the results of research indicated that there was an effect of learning motivation between students who using True False Chain (BSB) Learning model and conventional methods in SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru (thitung=17,18>ttabel=3,97). Where there was an average increase in motivation in the experimental class PPKn learning from 18.81 to 23.67 and the average of PPKn learning motivation of control class from 18,82 to 21.71. Thus the hypothesis reads that there is an effect of using True False Chain learning model towards learning motivation of PPKn students at SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru, can be accepted.Key Words : True False Chain, Motivation Study

Abstract

Abstract:This research is motivated by the implementation of the balimaukasai bathing tradition which has been handed down by the ancestors for a long time as preparation for entering the holy month of Ramadan. The balimau bath tradition includes bathing procedures and balimaukasai bathing equipment. So the formulation of the problem in this research is how is the implementation of the balimaukasai bath tradition in the Malay community in the Modernization Era in DesaPulauBayur, KecamatanCerenti,Kabupaten Kuantan singingi?. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the balimaukasai bath tradition in the Malay community in the modernization era in Desa Pulau Bayur, Kecamatan Cerenti,Kabupaten Kuantan singingi. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 30 respondents, including: traditional leaders, balimau bathing activities, the community and youth. The data collection instruments used in this study were questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation and literature studies. The data analysis technique in this research is by using the formula P = 100%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the balimau kasai bathing tradition follows the procedures that have been passed down from the past including the procedures for carrying out bathing balimau and balimau bathing equipment for the Malay community who can it is known from the results of the responses of the respondents as a whole answered "Yes" with a percentage of 81.46% while those who answered "No" were 18.54%. So it can be concluded that there were 81.46% of those who answered "Yes" who were in the 51%-100% answer range, which means there were no significant (meaningful) changes in the implementation of the balimau kasai bathing tradition in the modernization era.Key Words: Tradition, Balimau Kasai Bath, Modernization Era

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the influence of students’ understanding of diversity on their learning outcomes at Pancasila and civic education (PPKn) study program of Universitas Riau. Theresearch questions are formulated as follows: how is the students’ understanding of diversity at PPKn study program of Universitas Riau; and how is the student's learning outcomes in Pancasila education courses at PPKn study program of Universitas Riau; and how is the influence of the students’ understanding of diversity on their learning outcomes of Pancasila education courses at PPKn study program of Universitas Riau. This quantitative research was conducted at Universitas Riau from June 2019 to November2019. Participants were 71 PPKn study program students selected using the total sampling method. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were a questionnaire instrument analysis in the form of a validity test, a quantitative analysis in the form of a percentage test, a simple linear regression test, a coefficient of determination test and a hypothesis test. This study found that students’ understanding of the diversity isclassified as very good with a percentage of 94.7%. The learning outcomes of the final year students of PPKn study program of Universitas Riau are classified as good, with a percentage of 75.04%. These data indicate that the variable understanding of diversity has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of students at at PPKn study program of Universitas Riau with a magnitude of influence that can be explained by 33.4% of the dependent variable, while the remaining 66.6% (100% -33, 4%) is influenced by other variables which are not included in this study, such as learning resources, learning media and so on. Abstract

Abstract :This research is based on the problems that arise from the observations made by the researcher that is about the implementation of additional criminal and additional crimes under UU No. 31 of 1999 on corruption crime. Based on preliminary data obtained from the literature study is many problems in the implementation of the main criminal and additional crimes on the defendant corruption crime, for example, multitafsir rule or penalty that is still considered mild in the perpetrators of corruption crime classified as extraordinary crimes or extraordinary crimes. The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) How is the perception of student riau university to the main punishment according to UU no 31 year 1999 about corruption crime? (2) How is the perception of student of university riau toward additional criminal according to UU no 31 year 1999 about corruption crime?. The purpose of this research is to find out the perception of students of riau university on the implementation of principal criminal and additional crimes according to UU no 31 year 1999 about corruption crime. This research is descriptive qualitative method. Population in this research is student of university of riau from 9 faculty, then simplified become 3 faculty which study jurisprudence only. The sample in this study amounted to 120 people from 3 faculties. Data collection techniques used interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. Based on the results of this research can be concluded the perception of university of riau students on implementation of basic criminal according to UU No. 31 of 1999 on corruption is good. Nevertheless, the perspective of university of riau students on the additional criminal implementation according to UU No. 31 of 1999 on corruption crime is not good.Keyword : Perception, Students, additional crime

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the problems that arise from the observations made by researchers ie students in SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru on the role of homeroom who has not implemented its role maximally to the discipline of his students. Many found guardians who seem indifferent with the students because the homeroom considered their duty just teach it but also as a mentor. This study aims to describe the influence of the role of guardian against the discipline of students in SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru by looking at the answers of students to the questionnaire given to 60 students. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, the data in the analysis by using simple linear regression. Based on the research results can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the role of guardian against the discipline of students SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru because it turns Fhitung ≥ Ftabel or 83.850 ≥ 4.01. Based on calculation result known R square value equal to 0,591 or 59,1% mean, that contribution of class guardian role in to student discipline in SMKN 2 Pekanbaru 59,1%, while 41,9% (100-94%) influenced by variable not included in this study. Based on data analysis the role of guardian classified as very high that is equal to 76.30%, while the discipline students in SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru classified good category that is equal to 69.89%.Keywords: Homeroom Teacher, Discipline Students
