Abstract

This research is based on observation data and interviews with kindergarten teachers, which revealed a low level of environmental care behaviours among children. The observed behavior includes the children's lack of attention to wet and dry waste scattered around the kindergarten environment. Sensitivity to a clean environment is essential to achieving optimal learning and character development in children. This study aims to improve environmental care behaviours through the Trash Tracking game. The research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design of one group pretest-post-test. The subjects of the study were 17 children aged 5-6 years, consisting of 8 girls and 9 boys. Data were collected through observation with the same instrument related to environmental care behaviours administered during the pretest and post-test. The data were analyzed using paired t-test. The results showed that the Trash Tracking game, which is engaging and enjoyable, positively influenced the children's behavior toward environmental care. This game also helped children get accustomed to cleaning up waste inside and outside the classroom, as well as distinguishing between wet and dry waste. The children's awareness of preserving a clean environment improved, supporting a conducive and comfortable learning process both inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi atas masalah kurangnya pemanfaatan bahan ajar digital dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis model OPPEMEI untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek dari pengembangan adalah E-LKPD berbasis model OPPEMEI dan objek pengembangan yaitu validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitas dari E-LKPD yang dikembangkan. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, kusioner dan tes. Hasil Penelitian pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis model OPPEMEI menunjukan bahwa validitas ahli materi 0,93, ahli desain 1,00, dan ahli media pembelajaran 0,95. Hasil kepraktisan dari uji perorangan mendapatkan 95,83%, uji coba kelompok kecil mendaptkan 91,20%. Hasil uji-t menunjukan 11,38 lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel. Uji N-gain score data prettest dan posttest didapatkan 71% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan E-LKPD berbasis model OPPEMEI valid, praktis dan cukup efektif diterapkan pada muatan IPA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah E-LKPD berbasis model OPPEMEI dapat membantu guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Schools had never implemented special techniques in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling to develop students' intercultural communication at school. These problems cause failure in the communication process which can result in worsening social relations between students. The aim of this research is to analyze the differences in intercultural communication between Tourism Vocational School students before and after the transactional analysis counseling intervention. The research design used is a pretest posttest group design. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling, namely sampling based on the researcher's judgment. This research uses two types of instruments, namely: (1) transactional analysis counseling module treatment materials, and (2) data collection instruments in the form of an intercultural communication competency scale. The data collected in this research is then analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon statistical test. To answer the hypothesis in this research, it can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest hypothesis test table which shows a significance figure of 0.028 which means less than 0.05 so that Ho is rejected, so the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a difference in intercultural communication between Tourism Vocational School students before the transactional analysis counseling intervention and after intervention in the experimental group.

Abstract

Salah satu sumber nilai-nilai karakter yang dapat diterapkan dalam pendidikan adalah peribahasa yang ada di masyarakat. Salah satu contohnya adalah Amaedola Ononiha pada masyarakat suku Nias. Amaedola Ononiha memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter masyarakatnya. Pepatah-pepatah ini bukan sekadar kumpulan kata bijak, melainkan cermin dari nilai-nilai yang dijunjung tinggi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan studi pustaka, yang merupakan jenis penelitian yang melibatkan analisis dan sintesis literatur atau kumpulan sumber informasi yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Suku Nias memiliki beragam peribahasa yang mengandung nilai kearifan lokal. Peribahasa tradisional ini merupakan sumber berharga bagi pendidikan karakter di sekolah, maupun di luar sekolah. Melalui peribahasa tersebut, masyarakat suku Nias mengajarkan nilai-nilai religi, santun berbicara, jujur, bijak mengambil keputusan, bekerjasama, teguh pendirian, bertanggungjawab, tidak cepat menyerah atau berputus asa, dan lain sebagainya. Nilai-nilai ini menjadi pondasi dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik sekaligus upaya untuk membangun bangsa yang kuat, bermoral, dan memiliki identitas budaya yang kokoh.

Abstract

Tujuan P2M ini adalah Meningkatkan pemhaman guru BK SMA/SMK di Kota singaraja mengenai langkah-langkah dalam merancang media audio visual berbasis performance assesment dalam pelaksanaan layanan informasi BK Serta Meningkatkan kemampuan  guru BK SMA/SMK merancang media audio visual berbasis performance assesment dalam pelaksanaan layanan informasi BK. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah dirumuskan dalam P2M ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan juga pelatihan (merancang meda audio visual dan refleksi) yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk seminar dan workshop. Keberhasilan kegiatan pelatihan ini akan dievaluasi melalui: 1) Evaluasi proses: dilihat dari aktifitas peserta mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan, hal ini ditunjukan dengan partisipasi pesrta dalam diskusi (mengajukan atau menjawab pertanyaan), kehadiran peserta dalam kegiatan, kerjasama peserta dalam kegiatan (mau melaksanakan instruksi yang diberikan oleh narasumber maupun ketua pelaksana). Evaluasi proses dilaksanakan selama kegiatan P2M dilaksanakan. 2) Evaluasi hasil/produk: dilakukan terhadap kemampuan peserta dalam merancang media audio visual dalam kegiatan layanan informasi BK. dan juga penilaian terhadap produk media yang dihasilkan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan P2M berhasil, karena rancangan yang dibuat sesuai dengan indicator dan tagihan yang diminta oleh pelaksana dan juga peserta sudah menunjukan keseriusannya dalam membuat rancangan tersebut.

Abstract

Elementary school students face emotional challenges that have not been optimally addressed through existing counseling media. This study aims to develop a digital counseling application called Cakra, based on the values of Catur Paramita, to build the resilience of elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a limited development model from Borg & Gall up to the initial product design stage. The research subjects consisted of six experts (two media experts, two content experts, and two language experts) and ten trial subjects (one teacher, three individual test students, and six small group test students). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The validation results showed that the CAKRA application received highly valid scores from the language experts (96%), content experts (95.5%), and media experts (96.5%). The practicality test also indicated a very practical level, with scores of 96% in individual tests, 95% in small group tests, and 90% from the teacher. These findings indicate that CAKRA is feasible to use as a supporting medium for counseling services to enhance students' mental resilience. The implications of this study highlight the potential of the CAKRA application as a culturally based innovation in character education and children's emotional well-being. Further research is recommended for long-term testing and the development of application features based on user needs.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is an internal drive that drives individuals to achieve success in both academic and non-academic fields. In underachiever students, achievement motivation is very important because it activates untapped potential, encourages the development of learning skills, increases mental toughness, creates self-confidence, and independence. One of the effective counseling approaches in increasing achievement motivation in underachiever students is the behavioral counseling approach using self-management techniques. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the behavioral counseling approach using self-management techniques to increase achievement motivation in underachiever students. The design of this study was to use a one group pretest-posttest design with a population of 430 seventh grade junior high school students. Sampling used random sampling techniques and random class as an intact group, so that class VII.4 was obtained as a research sample. To test empirical validity, it was analyzed using the product moment correlation formula, while to test instrument reliability, it was analyzed using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Statistical tests used the T-test test to determine the effectiveness of the treatment that had been carried out. H0 is rejected if t count > t table. H0 is accepted if t count ≤ t table. Based on the H1 t-test, the calculated t was 11.131 while the t-table with db N-1 = 40 – 1 = 39 and a significance level of 5% (0.05) was 1.684, so it can be concluded that the behavioristic counseling approach with self-management techniques is effective in increasing achievement motivation in underachiever students.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students and the lack of utilization of innovative instructional media remain crucial issues in the learning process for fifth-grade elementary school students. The absence of interactive and contextual media has led to suboptimal learning processes and students' achievement falling short of expected targets. This study aims to analyze, develop, validate, evaluate the practicality, and examine the effectiveness of a problem-solving-based flipbook learning media to improve students’ IPAS (Science, Social, and Environment) learning outcomes. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method consisting of planning, development, and product trial stages. The subjects involved 32 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and learning achievement tests comprising pre-tests and post-tests. Data were analyzed qualitatively to assess the feasibility of the media and quantitatively using a paired sample t-test to examine its effectiveness. The results indicated that the developed flipbook media achieved very valid qualifications in terms of content and media validity, was highly practical, and significantly improved students’ learning outcomes in IPAS. These findings recommend the use of problem-solving-based flipbook media as an innovative alternative to optimize student-centered learning processes.

Abstract

Test anxiety is a common psychological issue experienced by students, which can negatively affect both their academic achievement and emotional well-being. Innovative intervention strategies are required to help students manage this anxiety effectively. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a Mindfulness Technique Guidebook within the framework of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based on Virtual Reality (VR) as a psychological intervention tool to reduce test anxiety. The research employed a modified 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) up to the dissemination phase in the form of article publication. The subjects involved included content experts, media experts, practitioners, and students as end users. Data collection techniques consisted of validation questionnaires, observation sheets, and a test anxiety scale. The intervention’s effectiveness was tested using a Single Subject Research (SSR) design with an A-B-A model. The results indicated that the product demonstrated a high level of validity and was significantly effective in reducing test anxiety (p < 0.05). Additionally, the guidebook was deemed practical and feasible for implementation in school counseling services. These findings suggest that technology-based guides using a mindfulness-CBT approach offer an innovative and applicable alternative for supporting students' mental health in educational settings.

Abstract

The background of this study is the high level of student misbehavior that disrupts the learning process. The tendency of misbehavior can be overcome with the right counseling approach and technique. Behavioral counseling with self-management techniques. The main objective of the study was to analyze the effect of behavioral counseling with self-management techniques in reducing the tendency of misbehavior, and to explore differences in influence based on gender. The type of research used was an experiment with a "Post-test Only Control Group Design" design. The subjects of the study were 65 grade X students from a total population of 432 students, divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, with instruments that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using two-way analysis of variance (Two Way ANOVA). The results showed a significant effect of behavioral counseling with self-management techniques in reducing the tendency of misbehavior, with an F count of 881.482 and a significance of 0.001. In addition, male students showed a higher level of misbehavior than female students. In conclusion, behavioral counseling with self-management techniques is effective in reducing students' misbehavior tendencies.
