Abstract

This research aims to determine the revitalization of vocational education through edupreneurship in promoting the economic independence of vocational high school students in the era of society 5.0. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling techniques, with criteria for vocational high schools that have integrated the edupreneurship program into their learning processes. Data collection techniques were carried out through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The analysis process was conducted through data reduction stages, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that vocational education, particularly in vocational high schools (SMK), plays a strategic role in producing a generation that is job-ready while also capable of creating jobs independently. However, various structural and cultural challenges such as competency mismatch, weak technology integration, and low entrepreneurial spirit remain major obstacles in achieving the economic independence of graduates. In the era of Society 5.0, which demands technological proficiency and sustainable innovation, a more adaptive and transformative educational approach is needed. In this context, edupreneurship emerges as a strategic solution to revitalize vocational education to make it more contextual, productive, and highly competitive.

Abstract

The general objective of this scientific work is to provide a comprehensive overview of student empowerment through culinary entrepreneurship activities in the school environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the research are vocational high school students participating in the 'Taste of Entrepreneurship Class' program, culinary productive teachers, and the head of the vocational program. Data were collected using several techniques, namely participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model according to Miles and Huberman, which includes three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results of the analysis show that the integration of edupreneurship in vocational education not only produces graduates who are job-ready, but also ready to create job opportunities, possessing independent, creative characteristics, and high competitiveness in facing the dynamics of industry and global challenges.

Abstract

Many factors can make teacher performance more optimal, for example, the leadership quality and communication skills of the school principal. This article aims to: (1) describe the leadership quality of the principal of the Muhammadiyah Oil and Gas Vocational School in Cilacap; (2) describes the communication skills of the head of the Muhammadiyah Migas Vocational School Cilacap; (3) describe the performance of SMK Muhammadiyah Migas Cilacap vocational teachers; (4) determine the influence of the quality of school principal leadership on the performance of SMK Muhammadiyah Migas Cilacap teachers; (5) find out the influence of school principals' communication skills on the performance of Cilacap Vocational High School Muhammadiyah teachers; and (6) find out the influence of leadership quality and communication skills of principals on the performance of SMK Muhammadiyah Migas Cilacap teachers. This research is a quantitative study using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were 33 teachers in Muhammadiyah Migas Vocational School Cilacap. Data collection techniques used a closed questionnaire method. Descriptive analysis results show that: (1) The quality of the principal's leadership can be classified in good categories, (2) The communication skills of the principal can be classified in either category; and (3) Teacher performance is included in the classification of good categories. Furthermore, the results of the regression analysis showed that: (1) there was a positive influence on the quality of the principal's leadership on the teachers’ performance; (2) there is a positive influence of communication skills on the performance of teachers; (3) and there is a positive influence on the quality of the principals' leadership and communication skills together on the performance of the teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internship performance and work motivation on work readiness of students in SMK Negeri 1 Bantul Yogyakarta, majoring in automation and office governance competencies in academic year 2018/2019. This research is an ex post facto using quantitative correlation method. The population of this research is all XII grade students of in office automation and governance expertise, with a total of 64 students. We selected 30 students as the sample using proportionate random sampling technique. The dependent variable in this study is work readiness (Y) while the independent variables include the performance of internship (X1) and work motivation (X2). Data collection methods are questionnaires and documentation. The method of data analysis uses descriptive statistics, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was an influence on the performance of internship and work motivation both individually and simultaneously on the work readiness of students of SMK Negeri 1 Bantul.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research method with a research location at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Playen. The research subjects include teachers, principals, vice principals, and students. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, while data analysis is carried out using Atlas.ti 8 software to group and interpret data systematically. The results of the research carried out were (1) strategies for developing teacher discipline character through rewards and punishments. includes (a) measuring instruments (b) warnings . (2) the form of implementing the development of teacher discipline character through rewards and punishments includes (a) the form of rewards and punishments (b) method,(3) The implications of developing the character of teacher discipline through rewards and punishments are that (a) the disposition is right on target (b) human resources are more disciplined (c) communication between superiors and subordinates becomes more focused.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor keberhasilan dan penghambat dalam pengembangan edupreneurship di Business Center "Moekamart" SMK Muhammadiyah Karangmojo. Transformasi dari koperasi siswa menjadi minimarket modern pada awal tahun 2019 ditinjau dari berbagai aspek yang mempengaruhi kinerjanya. Keberhasilan Moekamart diidentifikasi melalui perubahan menjadi toko ritel modern dengan dukungan mesin kasir POS (point of sales), yang meningkatkan efisiensi dan penampilan profesional. Selain itu, perluasan target pasar dari hanya warga sekolah ke masyarakat umum, meskipun belum maksimal, turut berkontribusi pada peningkatan omzet. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengungkap beberapa faktor penghambat, rendahnya jumlah konsumen dari masyarakat umum yang disebabkan oleh persaingan dengan toko ritel besar lainnya di Karangmojo, serta harga produk yang kurang bersaing. Tambahan kebijakan potongan wajib pembelian bagi guru dan karyawan juga diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu kendala operasional. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dan strategi peningkatan kinerja Moekamart di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the competency standards for TBSM teachers in the Sleman area, to describe the competency standards for TBSM teachers, to map the professional competencies of TBSM teachers based on the Center for Development and Empowerment of Educators and Education Personnel in the Automotive and Electronics Sector BBPMPPV BOE Malang. This research method uses discrepancy. The research results show (1) The educational background of TBSM teachers in Sleman Regency Vocational Schools is still not in accordance with government regulations (2) The average teacher professional mastery score is 469.7 points or 78, which means the professional mastery of 19 teachers is in the competent category. The results of individual acquisition of teacher professional competence in the quite competent category were 1 person, 16 people in the competent category, and 2 in the very competent category. It can be concluded that no teachers are not yet competent. (3) The obstacle to increasing teacher competency is teacher participation in training; of the 19 teachers, 8 have participated in training, while 11 people have never participated.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan modal awal dalam mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia unggul. Permasalahan muncul pada siswa seiring dengan waktu dalam proses pembelajaran, yakni permasalahan kurangnya fokus dalam mengikuti pembelajaran pada siswa perihal skill dan kreativitas. Banyak siswa yang tidak fokus dalam pelajaran karena masih terbawa kondisi permasalahan keluarga ataupun masalah lainnya, hal ini mendorong untuk dilakukan penelitian agar bisa menyelidiki apa yang harus dilakukan supaya nilai dari peserta didik bisa meningkat. Permasalahan yang bisa dikaji lebih lanjut terkait dengan, Pertama, Bagaimana aplikasi sound theraphy dalam meningkatkan skills dan kreativitas pembelajaran desain grafis percetakan pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Cilacap?, dan  Kedua, Bagaimana pengembangan aplikasi sound therapy dalam skills dan kreativitas pembelajaran desain grafis percetakan pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Cilacap? Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah metode penelitian Kualitatif, tahapan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan metode pengembanggan ADDIE. Penelitian ini telah menjelaskan tentang pengembangan aplikasi Sound therapy dalam Skills dan Kreativitas pembelajaran desain grafis percetakan pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Cilacap bahwa penggunaan Sound therapy versi 1.0 ini berdampak positif terhadap siswa untuk skills dan kreativitas dapat dibuktikan dengan kenaikan hasil evaluasi peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan sound therapy . Adanya pengembangan aplikasi sound therapy versi 1.0 menjadi sound therapy versi 2.0 ini menitik beratkan pada afirmasi script hypnosis dimana peserta didik diminta untuk mengikuti perintah dari suara aplikasi untuk menuju ke mode trance atau ke alam bawah sadar mereka dengan tujuan setelah masuk kealam bawah sadar, siswa mudah diberikan sugesti positif untuk peningkatan skills dan kreativitas Kata Kunci : Sound Therapy, Skills, Kreativitas

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe how the edupreneurship implementation through Teaching Factory (TEFA) on the mechanical engineering expertise competence at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo; (2) Describe the factors supporting the successful implementation of edupreneurship through teaching factory on the mechanical engineering expertise competence at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo; and (3) Describes the contribution of the edupreneurship implementation through the teaching factory in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in mechanical engineering students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. This qualitative research used a descriptive approach. The data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The informants comprised principals, vice-principals of curriculum, heads of engineering expertise programs, productive teachers, and students. The data analysis technique employed interactive analysis techniques, starting from data collection and then the data were reduced; after being reduced, the data were presented, and the last was verification. The data validity was then tested by triangulation of sources. The findings in this study revealed that (1) In terms of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring/evaluating, the edupreneurship implementation through teaching factory on the mechanical engineering expertise competence at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo has been going very well by producing medical device products, especially patient beds that were produced and have been marketed to PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Central Java; (2) The factors driving the success of edupreneurship through technology factory comprised: quality educator resources, adequate infrastructure both in quantity and quality, standard operating procedures according to industry standards, quality products, and a well-established product marketing network; and (3) The edupreneurship implementation through the teaching factory contributes to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit by directly involving students in planning, production, and marketing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan karir pada siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Temanggung, baik faktor internal maupun eksternal, serta menganalisis interaksi antara faktor-faktor tersebut. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan 69 siswa kelas XII dari berbagai jurusan di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Temanggung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat dan bakat merupakan faktor dominan dalam pemilihan karir, dengan 68,1% siswa memilih karir berdasarkan minat dan bakat mereka. Orang tua juga berperan signifikan dalam keputusan karir siswa dengan 15,9% pengaruh. Faktor eksternal lainnya termasuk informasi tentang dunia kerja, pengaruh teman sebaya, saran guru, dan lokasi pekerjaan. Temuan ini sejalan dengan teori Holland yang menekankan pentingnya kesesuaian antara tipe kepribadian individu dan lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya bimbingan karir di sekolah untuk membantu siswa membuat keputusan karir yang lebih terinformasi dan matang.
