Abstract

Household waste management represents a critical challenge alongside rapid urbanization in Indonesia. This study examines household waste management behavior by utilizing an extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) framework. A quantitative explanatory approach was deployed through a survey of 100 household respondents in Joglo Subdistrict, Surakarta. Data analysis was executed via Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), through which behavioral intention was found to be significantly determined by all five primary constructs. The hierarchy of these predictors, from most to least dominant, is social influence, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, habit, and facilitating conditions. Additionally, a significant path was identified from behavioral intention to actual daily waste sorting practices. Regarding the moderating role of environmental concern, the results indicate partial moderation. While the links from facilitating conditions to intention and from intention to actual use are significantly amplified, the pathway between habit and intention remains unaffected. The limitations of this inquiry lie in its localized sample and cross sectional nature. Consequently, this research provides localized empirical insights into pro-environmental behavior models within a specific community context rather than broad theoretical generalizations. These preliminary findings offer a useful baseline reference for local authorities to design targeted waste management counseling and sustainable training programs in developing regions with similar socio cultural characteristics.

Abstract

This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) study that aims to identify, examine, and synthesize the latest findings related to the adoption of digital marketing and e-commerce in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). By analyzing 20 selected international journals, this study explores various determinants, challenges, and impacts of digital technology implementation on MSME business performance. The results of the study reveal that technological, organizational, and environmental factors (TOE framework), digital marketing capabilities, innovation capacity, and customer connectivity through digital platforms are key elements in the adoption process. In addition, external factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, market globalization, and competitive pressures also drive the acceleration of MSME digitalization. Other findings show that the adoption of e-commerce and digital marketing not only improves financial performance and market competitiveness, but also contributes to business sustainability, supply chain efficiency, and export market expansion, especially in the context of cross-border e-commerce. The study analysis suggests approaches for policymakers and researchers to create an MSME digital transformation strategy concerning technology and collaboration within a digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of employee performance. The methods used in this study are the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis) method and Bibliometric Analysis using Vosviewer. The data source was obtained from Scopus for the period 2015-2025. Based on the results of the literature that has been reviewed with the search results for "determinant of employee performance" , 941 journals were found. Then data filtering was carried out using the PRISMA method so that 49 papers were included in the category. Of the 49 articles that have been obtained using the PRISMA SLR Analysis, 10 journals will be selected that have the highest number of citations. The results of the study say that employee performance is influenced by a combination of individual and external factors. The main determinants that affect employee performance include self-efficacy, person-job fit, motivation, training and development, interactional fairness, employee well-being, effective leadership, and external crises. These factors work together to influence how well employees can perform their duties and contribute to the organization's goals.

Abstract

This study analyzes recent research trends and thematic focuses on creativity and innovation within the culinary business, synthesizing findings from six key journal articles. The analysis identifies six major themes driving creativity and innovation in this context. First, cultural creativity emphasizes leveraging local heritage and traditions to differentiate culinary offerings and foster place-based identity. Second, sustainability and green practices highlight the importance of integrating environmentally friendly strategies to enhance competitive advantage. Third, behavioral psychology explores how traits such as motivation, locus of control, and self-efficacy influence entrepreneurial creativity and success. Fourth, digital transformation emerges as a critical enabler of innovation, with the adoption of digital tools, e-commerce platforms, and social media enhancing operational efficiency and customer engagement. Fifth, market orientation underscores the role of proactive consumer-centric approaches, supported by advanced technologies and data-driven insights, in driving innovative culinary solutions. Finally, resourceful financial management demonstrates how financial bootstrapping fosters creative problem-solving, particularly among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with limited resources. The findings suggest that creativity and innovation in the culinary business are shaped by an intersection of cultural, psychological, technological, and financial factors. Sustainability and digital adoption are particularly highlighted as key drivers of differentiation and competitiveness. This synthesis provides a comprehensive framework for understanding how culinary businesses adapt to evolving consumer demands, market competition, and societal trends. Future research should further explore the integration of these themes to support the development of innovative and resilient culinary enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the trend of increasing competitiveness of creative businesses in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in 2018-2024. This research method uses a systematic literature review, which is divided into two steps, namely, planning and implementation of results. This study uses a search approach of 197 relevant articles indexed in the Scopus database, and then a filtering process is carried out until the final results are 20 journals that meet the research criteria, including journal categories, open access categories and full-text manuscripts. The findings show that the competitiveness of creative SMEs is driven by various factors, including organizational adaptation, innovation, knowledge management, institutional support, leadership, and strategic resource management. These determinants interact dynamically to shape SMEs' ability to innovate, adapt, and thrive in competitive markets. Future research should focus on integrating these factors in specific creative sectors to develop a comprehensive framework for enhancing SME competitiveness.

Abstract

Abstract. This study examines the role of the creative economy in contributing to regional economic growth by synthesizing empirical findings from reputable national and international research. Utilizing a simplified Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, the analysis covers a 15-year period (2010–2025), focusing on scholarly works that link the creative and industrial economy to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). From an initial pool of 52 relevant publications, only 25 Scopus-indexed and 5 credible non-Scopus articles met the inclusion criteria for rigorous analysis. The review reveals that the creative economy holds substantial potential to enhance regional economic performance, especially in times of economic uncertainty. However, the magnitude and nature of its impact vary based on local policy frameworks, institutional readiness, and socioeconomic contexts. Supportive innovation ecosystems and well-aligned government policies are key enablers in maximizing the sector’s productivity and resilience. Furthermore, the findings underscore the global relevance of the creative economy, highlighting its adaptability across diverse regions and economic structures. Beyond synthesizing the current literature, this study identifies critical gaps and future research directions. These include examining how the creative economy can respond to emerging global challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, and economic inequality. The integration of advanced technologies to foster creativity and innovation also emerges as a strategic imperative for sustainable regional development.
