Abstract

Limbah biomassa dipilih sebagai sumber energi alternatif karena ketersediaan bahan yang berlimpah, murah, serta renewable.Salah satu jenis biomassayang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar adalah limbah dari ubi kayu yang di dapat dari berbagai indutri olahan ubi kayu, terutama di daerah Kabupaten Jember.Pemanfaatan ubi kayu dalam industri akan menghasilkan beberapa output salah satunya yakni berupa limbah padat yang berupa kulit dan bonggol yang potensial digunakan sebagai bahan baku industri biopellet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan lokasi potensial untuk mendirikan industri biopellet di Kabupaten Jember.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Jember.Metode pengambilan data antara lain metode wawancara (interview), observasi dan studi pustaka. Analisis pemilihan wilayah potensial untuk mendirikan industri menggunakan Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial (MPE). Wilayah yang paling potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi industri biopellet yaitu di wilayah Kecamatan Jelbuk dengan nilai akhir sebesar 202.836.Kecamatan Jelbuk layak menjadi wilayah potensial karena mempunyai banyak unit usaha olahan tape singkong yang juga dapat menghasilkan banyak limbah ubi kayu. Terdapat 30 unit usaha tape singkong yang terdaftar di Dinas Koperasi Kabupaten Jember yang menduduki unit usaha tape singkong terbesar kedua setelah Kecamatan Tanggul dengan 35 unit usaha. Kecamatan ini juga termasuk memiliki harga tanah yang murah dibanding dengan wilayah lainya, data sekunder dari Bank Danamon tahun 2014 menunjukkan harga tanah di Kecamatan Jelbuk yakni sebesar Rp 100.000/ m2.

Abstract

Post harvest risk is a condition that must be faced by agro-industry companies. PT. Mitratani 27 is an agro-industry company that produces frozen edamame. One of the postharvest risks that occurs is losses in the process grading edamame. Therefore the AHP (Analytical Hi earchy Process) method is used to identify and determine the main causes of losses in the process grading. Generally, the AHP method is a process of comparing the criteria carried out by experts, the greater the value produced, the more important the criteria that considered by experts. The results of application AHP method that a criteria with the highest value is labor (0.755) and sub criteria for worker skills (0.259). Postharvest risk control that can be done is recommendations to improvement the skills of workers grading.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara X Kebun Kertosari, Kabupaten Jember merupakan perusahaan agroindustri yang dikenal sebagai perusahaan yang mengolah dan menghasilkan daun tembakau kualitas baik. Setiap pekerjaan yang ada di PT Perkebunan Nusantara X Kebun Kertosari dengan usia pekerja 20 th - 40 th memiliki jenis pekerjaan yang berbeda seperti sortasi, pengangkutan dan distribusi bahan dengan posisi kerja berdiri dan duduk sehingga dapat menimbulkan beban kerja. Permasalahan yang timbul akibat beban kerja berdampak pada konsentrasi, kinerja, kualitas produk, dan kesehatan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban kerja fisiologis dan psikologis pada pekerja bagian sortasi tembakau usia 20 th – 40 th dengan posisi berdiri dan duduk serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengurangi beban kerja pada bagian sortasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran beban kerja fisik menggunakan denyut nadi secara manual yang dilakukan 3 waktu yaitu sebelum bekerja (DNI), bekerja (DNK), dan saat istirahat (pemulihan) kemudian dihitung dengan % CVL. Hasil penelitian diperoleh % CVL pekerja usia 20 th – 40 th dengan posisi kerja berdiri lebih dominan mengalami beban kerja fisik dengan nilai 30 %. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan untuk pengukuran beban kerja mental adalah NASA-TLX dengan dua tahap yaitu tahap pembobotan dan tahap pemberian rating. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai WWL pekerja usia 20 th-40 th adalah 80 sehingga memiliki beban kerja mental dengan kategori sedang hingga berat.

Abstract

Biopellet is potential alternative fuel sources to be developed that is made from the agricultural industry by product such as cassava, corn, coconut, and rice. The objectives of this study are determine the type of by-product of agricultural industry in Jember which can be used as raw material for making biopellet; know the most potential by-product of agricultural industry in to be a raw material of biopellet. This study consists of three major stages first is preliminary research, identification of agricultural and industrial by-product grading by-product of agricultural industry. The method used in this research is a laboratory analysis and survey.Potential waste rice and corn cobs have relatively the same yield as the number of higher rice production from corn, while corn has a yield greater waste than rice. Therefore, when viewed from the potential waste out of the production of rice and corn, the rice and maize are the most potential of agricultural commodities from agricultural waste amount that comes out. Rice is a potential commodity to be used as raw material waste due to the availability of the industry biopellet. When viewed as a whole the results of the characterization of the physicochemical properties and heat content, it can be seen that the waste oil and waste corn is a commodity that has the potential to be used as raw material for making biopellet.

Abstract

The need for fertilizer in the agricultural sector is critical as one of the keys to soil fertility. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the fertilizer, chemical and agribusiness industries which has a network of authorized kiosks. A decrease in the number of kiosks in the distribution network area of Probolinggo Regency dan City may indicate that the services provided by the company still do not meet the expectations of consumers, resulting in a decrease in consumer satisfaction. This study aimed to determine the attributes of service quality, and the level of customer satisfaction based on the servqual attribute on service quality and compile recommendations for service improvement in the distribution network at PT. XYZ of Probolinggo Regency dan City. The analytical method used was the servqual method to identify and determine the condition of service quality with five servqual dimensions and the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to obtain priority service attributes. The results showed that there were 3 service attributes has positive GAP and 23 service attributes had negative GAP values. The mapping used the Importance Performance Analysis quadrant obtained 5 service attributes in quadrant A (Top Priority), 7 service attributes in quadrant B (Maintain Service), 7 service attributes in quadrant C (low priority), and 7 service attributes in quadrant D (Excessive). Recommendations for improvements that can be made based on the attributes in quadrant A (Top Priority).
