Abstract

This study aims to examine the evolution of scientific publications related to harassment in sports in the Scopus database using various bibliometric indicators such as publication trends, most active countries, scientific sources, top cites, and author keywords. From 1968 to 2022, the Scopus database recorded 1,721 publications related to harassment in sports. This review details bibliographic results using Microsoft Excel, Publish or Perish (PoP), and VOSviewer. Research findings indicate that between 1968 and 2005, publications followed a fluctuating trend. Since 2011, publications have increased to over 60 documents. 2021 will be the peak of publication with 221 documents. The International Review for the Sociology of Sport is the most active scientific source because it has published 40 documents. Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom, became the most active institution with 37 documents. This study has several limitations; the method applied in this research needs to clarify how to find, categorize, and use databases. It should be noted that data can also be obtained from other databases. This bibliometric analysis provides important information regarding future research directions in sports harassment studies, which can be learned further by examining trending keywords.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of assisted sprinting training (AS) and resisted sprinting training (RS) in repetition method on improving sprint acceleration capabilities. This research used experimental method in pre-test and post-test design. The research sample were twelve male collegiates track sprinters, athletic division Indonesia University of Education, Bandung. Six male collegiates track sprinters for AS and six male collegiates track sprinters for RS. It used simple random sampling. The instrument used is 30 m sprint test. After training three times per week for six week, data were obtained from pre-test and post-test processed statistically by t-test. The AS group and RS group showed significant changes on improving sprint acceleration capabilities. No significant different between AS and RS on improving sprint acceleration capabilities.  In AS the increase  is better than RS at a distance of 10 m from a distance of 30 m. While, in RS the increase  is better than AS at a distance of 10-20 m and 20-30 m from a distance of 30 m. Accordingly, to improve acceleration at a distance 10 m use AS, while to improve acceleration at a distance of 10-20 m and 20-30 m from a distance of 30 m use RS.

Abstract

Physical activity is one of the vital components of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is endemic in various countries, including Indonesia. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of physical activity of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants of this study were 17 students with disabilities (intellectual disability, hearing impairment, speech impairment) aged 8-14 years. This research used a quantitative descriptive research method. The tool used was the Children's Physical Activity Questionnaire (PAQ-C) distributed through Google Forms. Data analysis included quantitative descriptive statistics analysis and the analytical need testing using IBM SPSS 24 applications. The results showed that the physical activity of students with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic was mostly distributed in the low category, nine students (50%). This study implied that students should maintain and increase physical activity by doing light physical activity at least 30 minutes a day and maintaining immunity by eating nutritious foods such as vitamins, fruits, vegetables, and healthy foods to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It will be interesting to study adaptive learning more deeply during pandemics in a broad scope in Indonesia for further research.
