Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the form of supervision and its effect on employee performance. This study was conducted at the Bontonompo District Office in Gowa Regency. Data collection techniques were the study of literature, field studies such as observation, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were descriptive analysis techniques and simple linear regression analysis techniques. The total population in the study were all employees of the Bontonompo District Office of Gowa Regency as many as 30 employees. The withdrawal of the sample used the saturation sampling technique. Based on the results of statistical analysis of the summary model table, explaining the magnitude of the correlation or relationship  (R) value was 0.793. From the influence of the independent or supervisory variable (X) on the dependent variable of employee performance (Y) shown by the Adjusted R Square value of 0.615, it meant that 61% of the influence of the independent or supervisory variable (X) on the employee performance dependent variable (Y) in the Bontonompo District Office Gowa Regency, from the output results was a good level.

Abstract

This study purposed to find out the effect of headmaster’s leadership on the performance of teachers at SMKN 1 Papalang, Papalang Sub-district, Mamuju Regency. This study used quantitative methods. Sampling technique used saturated sampling in which all member of the opulation was used as samples. Research data were questionnaires and observations. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis with SPSS. The results of this study showed that the influence of headmaster’s leadership on the performance of teachers at SMKN 1 Papalang, Papalang Sub-district, Mamuju Regency was very significant. Therefore, the hypothesis in the study was accepted because it was supported by the significance value. So in other words the independent variable of the headmaster’s leadership was able to explein the magnitude of the dependent variable of teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the work environment on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Bulukumba Regency. The type of research used in this study was a mix method (quantitative and qualitative) with data collection techniques used namely observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. As for the number of samples used in this study as many as 55 people and 9 informants. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the influence of the work environment on the performance of employees at the Education and Culture Office of Bulukumba Regency went well. This was based on the average score obtained from the statement items of 77.97% which indicated that the work environment occupies a good category. Then the research also showed that the work environment had a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Education and Culture Office of Bulukumba Regency by 53.6% and the rest, which was 46.4%, the performance of employees was influenced by other factors.Keywords: Work environment, Employee performance.

Abstract

This study purposed to determine the implementation of organizational communication and supporting factors and obstacles to the implementation of organizational communication in the Samsat Office of  Bulukumba Regency. This study used qualitative methods. The number of informants in this study was 9 people. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of organizational communication in the Office of Samsat Bulukumba Regency which included downward communication that had been well established so that the message delivered produced positive feedback, upward communication had been carried out well with the approach to staff in collaborating in carrying out their duties, and horizontal communication was effective  by  supporting  each other and  respect and cooperation in achieving the realization target. Supporting factors were the existence of a communicator who had high authority, friendly, firm in making decisions, and could control emotions in solving conflicts that often occured.

Abstract

The purpose purposed to determine the effect of infrastructure revitalization on the quality of service at the Mannanti Health Center in Tellulimpoe Sub-District, Sinjai Regency. The type of research used  quantitative descriptive research, while the data collection techniques used  observation, questionnaire and documentation. While the opinions and perceptions of 20 respondents at the Mannanti Public Health Center in tellulimpoe sub-district, Sinjai Regency and 50 respondents from the community who used health services. Data Sources used  primary data and secondary data, data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that the Variable X Indicator of Infrastructure Revitalization got an average value of 38%vthat the indicators of the influence of Infrastructure Revitalization (physical interventions, economic rehabilitation and institutional  revitalization) were good enough, Variable Y was obtained an average value of 63% in conclusion (Tangible, empathy, reliability, responsiveness and confidence) in the good category, and Variable infrastructure revitalization had a positive and significant effect explaining that the significant value of infrastructure revitalization was 0,000 less than 0.05 while the t count was 37,605.

Abstract

This study analyzes political dynamics in Bulukumba Regency's 2024-2029 Simultaneous Regional Elections, examining candidate branding strategies, political party gatekeeping via B1-KWK recommendations (letter of mutual agreement), and comparative electoral patterns. A critical phenomenon emerged when party cadres were denied nominations by their own parties and defected to incumbent Andi Muhtar Ali Yusuf, revealing strategic loyalty fractures. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews (N=25), direct observation, and document analysis, findings demonstrate: (1) incumbent dominance anchored by Muhtar’s branding as "Indonesia’s wealthiest regent" (LHKPN-reported assets: Rp 120 billion) and extensive patronage networks; (2) B1-KWK mechanisms enabling party fragmentation that nearly resulted in an uncontested election; and (3) intensified yet unequal competition after the last-minute registration of challengers Jamaluddin Samsir-Tomy Satria Yulianto (Golkar-NasDem-Hanura coalition). The research concludes that branding power, coalition engineering, and institutional gatekeeping converge to shape regional electoral outcomes, urging reforms to enhance political equity in Indonesia’s local democracies.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of leadership style, work environment, and competence on employee performance at the South Sulawesi Provincial Culture and Tourism Office. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with the category of explanatory research, which is research that aims to analyze the relationship between independent (influencing) and dependent variables on a sample of 125 respondents using a questionnaire as a source of data collection. The analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistic 25 application. The results of the study showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with P = 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient value of 7.068. Meanwhile, the work environment showed that there was a positive but not significant influence on employee performance with P = 0.872 > 0.05 and a coefficient value of 0.161. Likewise, competence shows that there is a positive and significant influence on employee performance at the South Sulawesi Provincial Culture and Tourism Office with P = 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient value of 16.087. With this, it is concluded that leadership style, work environment, and competence have an influence on employee performance at the South Sulawesi Provincial Culture and Tourism Office.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya konflik antara masyarakat dan PT.Galena SumberEnergi dalam eksplorasi tambang di Desa Bontokatute Kecamatan Sinjai Borong Kabupaten Sinjai dan untuk mengetahui pola penyelesaian konflikyang dilakukan sebagai resolusi konflik Di Desa Bontokatute Kecamatan Sinjai Borong Kabupaten Sinjai. Tipe Penelitian yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan tipe penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif dimana dasar penelitian ini adalah wawancara, yaitu melakukan dialog(wawancara) kepada informan dengan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa polapenyelesaian konflik yang terjadi antara masyarakat dan PT.Galena Sumber Energi yang terjadi di desa bontokatute dengan menjabarkan indikator :Negosiasi,sebuah komunikasi dua arah yang dirancang untuk mencapai kesepakatan sebagai upaya pertama untuk penyelesaian konflik di desabontokatute,Mediasi dimana pihak yang terlibat konflik kemudian menunjuk pihak ketiga sebagai mediator yang dalam hal ini adalahkepolisian,kemudian konsolidasi yakni adanya sebuah lembaga tertentu yang memungkinkan adanya diskusi dan pengambilan keputusan dimana saatitu masyarakat menginginkan dialog terbuka oleh DPRD namun gagal serta arbitrasi dimana adanya pihak ketiga akan memberikan keputusan danharus diterima oleh pihak yang berkonflik seperti dengan dibentuknya Pansus oleh DPRD sebagai bentuk dari arbitrase ad hoc

Abstract

This study aims to improve agropreneurship-based entrepreneurial literacy for Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) women in Bulujaya Village, Jeneponto Regency through training in processing corn into value-added products. The background of the study is based on the low entrepreneurial literacy of rural women, especially in aspects of business management, marketing, and the use of digital technology. This study used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were PKK women who were active in organizational activities, had an interest in entrepreneurship, and were willing to participate in the training program. Data were collected through observation, in- depth interviews, FGDs, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in the participants' entrepreneurial literacy after the training, as evidenced by a comparison of pre- test and post-test results. Participants were able to understand the concept of entrepreneurship more professionally, including in managerial, financial, and marketing aspects. In terms of technical skills, participants successfully processed corn into popcorn with various flavors and attractive packaging, thereby increasing the added value of local products. In addition, there was an increase in digital literacy, where PKK women began to utilize social media as a means of product promotion. This training also has social and economic impacts, including increased self-confidence, group solidarity, and the emergence of additional family income, even on a small scale. Thus, agropreneur-based entrepreneurial literacy training has proven effective in empowering women, strengthening family economic resilience, and encouraging the development of local potential in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The Public Service Innovation Network is a form of cooperation in the development of public service innovations that are run between related agencies, as an effort so that all parties are connected to each other in the development of public service innovations. This research is based on qualitative research method with descriptive type. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The data validation technique uses the theory of Miles & Huberman. The results of the research show that the implementation of the South Sulawesi JIPP is well implemented, with the ability to distribute the latest information with the support of a website that was created, as a learning tool and a data center for public service innovation information, and become a center for accelerating the quality of public services in the province of South Sulawesi so that a number of Regional Apparatus Organizations have succeeded. won an award at the Public Service Innovation Competition at the National level. The Public Service Innovation Network is a stakeholder collaboration node for the success of the one agency one innovation movement so that ultimately a creative climate is created to create public service innovations in the scope.
