Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women's political leadership styles on the effectiveness of development in Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency. The research design employed is a quantitative method, utilizing a questionnaire as the main instrument. The population under study comprises the residents of Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency, and the sample size determination utilized the Slovin technique due to the large and challenging-to-reach population. The study selected 90 respondents as samples. Data collection methods involved both observation and the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique employed in this study is regression analysis. Validity and reliability of the data were ensured through validity testing. The findings of this study indicate that the influence of women's political leadership styles on the effectiveness of development in Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency, is positive. This is supported by the average score of 168.8 or 84%, suggesting a very favorable position for the impact of women's leadership style. Furthermore, the research also reveals a positive effect of women's leadership on development in Parangloe Village, Bantaeng Regency, with a percentage of 69.1%, while the remaining 30.9% is attributed to other factors.

Abstract

This study discusses Symbolic Domination (a study of the interaction of aristocratic power in village head elections in Bonto Tappalang Village, Bantaeng Regency). The aim to be achieved in this study is to find out how symbolic domination is in the interaction of aristocratic power in village head elections in Bonto Tappalang Village, Bantaeng Regency and how are the supporting and inhibiting factors of symbolic domination in the interaction of noble power in village heads. Election in Bonto Tappalang Village, Bantaeng Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Sources of data used in this study were primary data and secondary data, the number of informants in this study were 7 people. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The results of the discussion in this study which dominated the nomination of village heads can be achieved using 3 theories, namely Habitus, Modality, and Field or Arena. The Habitus results show that the activities carried out by the village head candidate are to behave well towards the community and must follow the traits of the noble predecessors in order to gain support from the community leadership. Furthermore, the modality results show that in order to win the contestation in the village head election, capital is needed for the elected village head candidates, namely economic capital, social capital and symbolic capital, the more capital combined, the greater the opportunity for profit . Public trusts. Then the results from the field or arena show that the elected village head candidate must have the space or place to rule in the election.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Malaysia merupakan negara yang rentan terhadap bencana alam, terutama banjir dengan frekuensi tinggi dan dampak signifikan setiap tahun. Data 2020–2023 menunjukkan fluktuasi kejadian banjir dengan puncak pada 2021 akibat perubahan iklim global dan keterbatasan infrastruktur pengendali air. Tren bencana 1970–2019 juga meningkat, menjadikan banjir sebagai ancaman dominan yang memerlukan peningkatan mitigasi serta kesiapsiagaan sekolah. Metode: Mitigasi dilakukan melalui kolaborasi pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan organisasi terkait melalui pendidikan serta pelatihan kebencanaan yang meliputi teori, simulasi, dan latihan evakuasi, dengan evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil: Pelatihan terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kepedulian siswa, dengan 97,8% mencapai tingkat pengetahuan sangat tinggi setelah pelatihan berdasarkan hasil post-test. Kesimpulan: Pembangunan sekolah tangguh bencana memerlukan peningkatan kapasitas pendidik, pembentukan Tim Tanggap Bencana Sekolah, integrasi kurikulum kebencanaan, perbaikan infrastruktur, dan latihan rutin untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan menghadapi keadaan darurat.
