Abstract

Higher education should be a safe and comfortable place for students to receive education. However, in reality, many cases of sexual violence occur in the university environment. Many victims of sexual violence do not dare to report the incident to the authorities. Meanwhile, some victims who have reported their cases have not received a resolution to the problems they complained about. Based on the results of a student needs survey, as many as 64.7% of students need a guidebook for preventing and controlling sexual violence. Based on the survey results, the author aims to research and develop a guidebook for preventing and controlling sexual violence. After going through four stages of R&D 4D model, this guidebook contains the background, scope, juridical and empirical studies, and mechanisms for preventing and controlling sexual violence. Based on the results of media expert validation tests, this book obtained an Index Aiken’s V Coefficient of 0.81 which is in the high category. Meanwhile, the results of material expert validation tests show that the Index Aiken’s V Coefficient of this book is 0.83, which is also included in the high category. This guidebook will be used as a reference in realizing efforts to prevent and overcome sexual violence in the higher education environment, especially at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.

Abstract

Career anxiety is increasing in line with the growing complexity of today's job market and the shift in life patterns influenced by digital technology, which has become an integral part of every individual's life. This study aims to examine career anxiety and the role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in reducing students' career anxiety in the digital era. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review design. Five articles were analyzed to achieve the research objectives. The data collected in this study consists of textual data sourced from Google Scholar, published between 2019 and 2024. Data analysis was conducted by interpreting, comparing, connecting, and identifying relationships between the variables that serve as the research focus. The findings indicate that career anxiety experienced by students in the digital era can negatively impact their personal and academic development. Therefore, the role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers is crucial in helping students reduce this anxiety. By acting as motivators, directors, initiators, facilitators, mediators, evaluators, informants, and organizers, Guidance and Counseling Teachers can provide comprehensive support to students in planning their careers and overcoming the uncertainties they face. ABSTRAKKecemasan karier semakin meningkat sejalan dengan semakin kompleksnya dunia kerja saat ini dan juga karena pergeseran pola kehidupan yang terjadi dikarenakan oleh pengaruh teknologi digital yang memasuki kehidupan setiap individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah kecemasan karier dan peran Guru Bimbingan dan konseling dalam mereduksi kecemasan karier yang dihadapi siswa di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain literatur review. Terdapat lima artikel yang dianalisis untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data teks yang bersumber dari google scholar yang dipublikasikan dari tahun 2019 sampai tahun 2024. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menafsirkan, membandingkan, menghubungkan dan mencari keterkaitan antar variabel yang menjadi fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: bahwa kecemasan karier yang dialami oleh siswa di era digital dapat merugikan perkembangan pribadi dan akademis mereka. Oleh karena itu, peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling sangat penting dalam membantu siswa mereduksi kecemasan tersebut. Dengan berperan sebagai motivator, director, inisiator, fasilitator, mediator, evaluator, informator, dan organisator, guru BK dapat memberikan dukungan yang komprehensif kepada siswa dalam merencanakan karier mereka dan mengatasi ketidakpastian yang dihadapi.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence on anxiety facing the Final Semester Examination in Class X students at SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. This research is correlational research using a quantitative approach. The research sampling technique used random sampling technique. Data collection instruments used an emotional intelligence level scale and an anxiety scale for facing end-of-semester exams. This research concludes that there is a significant relationship between the level of emotional intelligence and the level of anxiety facing the final semester exams in class X students at SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. The correlation coefficient value is -0.447 and the determination coefficient is 0.200.

Abstract

This study is driven by the urgent need to develop social-emotional development programs in Indonesian junior high schools, considering the significant changes that occur during adolescence and the challenges faced in multicultural contexts. Effective social-emotional development programs can help students manage emotions, strengthen social relationships, and enhance their mental well-being in the school environment. The primary objective of this research is to explore how multicultural school counselors prepare social-emotional development programs that meet the needs of junior high school students. This study employs a survey method with a quantitative approach, involving 126 school counselors from various provinces in Indonesia as research subjects. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, utilizing instruments covering needs assessment, reference material development, and system support. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to identify patterns and trends in social-emotional program development in schools. The results indicate that most counselors use needs assessments as a basis for developing their programs and leverage various resources, including peer documents, digital media, and collaboration with the school community. The study concludes that a needs-based approach is crucial in developing social-emotional programs.

Abstract

Education does not only focus on developing the cognitive aspects of students but also on their social and emotional dimensions. One of the main components of self-development is self-awareness, which will help individuals understand their potential, emotions, and behavior. As adolescents navigate a transitional phase that demands greater self-awareness, group guidance services offer structured support to foster this essential developmental skill. This study aims to develop a Group Guidance Service Guidebook for the Discovery Learning Method to increase Self-Awareness in adolescents. The method used is Research and Development (R&D), with a 4D development model that includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The results of the study indicate that the developed guidebook has been considered suitable for use as a guideline for guidance and counseling teachers in providing services to students at school. Assessments by material, media, and service experts show an Aiken Index of material of 0.83, media of 0.86, and service of 0.81, all of which are included in the high category. This guide demonstrates its effectiveness in enhancing adolescent self-awareness by incorporating the discovery learning approach, which promotes active participation, personal reflection, and self-directed learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of career awareness of junior high school students in Yogyakarta. The development of the times will give rise to various new types of work. The importance of having a promising career is understanding and being aware of existing career changes. Career awareness must be developed, especially in junior high school (SMP). Students at the junior high school level are in the initial phase of determining future career steps. When they enter the next career level, it will be directional and easy for students to undertake. The analysis of the level of career awareness in this research can be the basis for developing teaching materials for guidance and counseling services in increasing career awareness for junior high school students, especially in Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesadaran karir siswa sekolah menengah pertama di kota Yogyakarta. Perkembangan zaman akan memunculkan berbagai macam jenis pekerjaan baru. Pentingnya memiliki karir yang baik dengan memahami dan menyadari perubahan karir yang ada. Kesadaran karir perlu untuk dikembangkan sejak berada di bangku sekolah khususnya di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP). Siswa pada tingkat SMP menjadi fase awal untuk menentukan Langkah karir kedepan agar ketika memasuki jenjang karir berikutnya akan terarahkan dan mudah untuk dijalani oleh siswa. Analisis tingkat kesadaran karir pada penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi landasan untuk mengembangkan materi bahan ajar layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan kesadaran karir siswa SMP khususnya di kota Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan self-directed learning (SDL) peserta didik. SDL merupakan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang berhubungan dengan lifelong learning, di mana individu diharapkan mampu mengidentifikasi kebutuhan belajar, merancang strategi, serta mengevaluasi kemajuan secara mandiri. Namun, hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Banguntapan masih memiliki SDL yang rendah, ditandai dengan perilaku kurang bertanggung jawab dalam belajar, ketidakterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran, serta kurangnya kesadaran dalam mengevaluasi proses belajar mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest terhadap enam peserta didik dengan tingkat SDL rendah. Intervensi dilakukan melalui bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan selama lima sesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor SDL peserta didik setelah intervensi, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 27,2 poin. Uji hipotesis dengan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Testmenunjukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,027 (<0,05), yang berarti ada perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa teknik permainan dalam bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan SDL peserta didik. Dengan demikian, guru bimbingan dan konseling dapat mempertimbangkan teknik permainan sebagai pendekatan interaktif untuk membangun kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengeksplorasi efektivitas teknik permainan pada jenjang pendidikan yang berbeda serta mengembangkan variasi permainan yang lebih kontekstual sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

Self-awareness merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan remaja terutama membantu mereka mengenali diri, mengelola emosi, dan menjalin hubungan sosial secara sehat. Hasil observasi di SMA Negeri X Yogyakarta menunjukkan masih adanya remaja dengan tingkat self-awareness rendah, yang tercermin dari perilaku tidak disiplin dan kurangnya tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan metode discovery learning dalam meningkatkan self awareness pada remaja kelas XI. Penelitian menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest melibatkan 6 remaja yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi dilakukan dalam 7 sesi pertemuan, dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala self-awareness. Rata-rata skor meningkat dari 44,8 menjadi 70,8. Hasil analisis dengan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,028 < 0,05 menandakan perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode discovery learning dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan self-awareness remaja dan dapat menjadi pendekatan yang aplikatif bagi guru BK di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif layanan bimbingan kelompok yang menggunakan pendekatan discovery learning dalam meningkatkan career awareness siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri X Sewon. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest dengan partisipasi enam siswa yang memiliki tingkat career awareness yang rendah sebagai sampel cluster. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala pengukuran career awareness. Hasil pretest menunjukkan skor rata-rata sebesar 58,7 yang masih tergolong rendah, sementara skor posttest meningkat menjadi 79,5 dan masuk kategori sedang. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,027 < 0,05, menandakan terdapat perbedaan yang jelas antara hasil sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan . Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok menggunakan discovery learning terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan career awareness siswa, serta memberikan pendekatan yang inovatif bagi guru BK dalam menjalankan layanan bimbingan dan konseling.
