Abstract

Children's eating patterns for each age are not the same. The energy needs of the 10-12 year age group are relatively greater than the 7-9 year age group, because growth occurs faster, especially the increase in height. The purpose of Community Service is to improve the attitudes and knowledge of school-age children through health education. The method of implementing the activity is carried out by increasing student knowledge, so health education is carried out by showing videos through projectors, books and games at SD Negeri Kota Depok, West Java. The calculation results obtained an average student food knowledge score of 13.78 so that the average student food knowledge score is in the sufficient category. The conclusion is that the knowledge about food of grade 5 students at SD Negeri Kota Depok shows that the good category is 19 respondents (37.26%), the sufficient category is 30 respondents (58.82%), and the lacking category is 2 respondents (3.92%).

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of work culture, compensation and work ethic on employee performance at PT. Telkom Mamuju. The data in this research was obtained from each employee at PT. Telkom Mamuju is willing to be a respondent. This research uses primary data by conducting direct research in the field by giving questionnaires/question sheets to 57 respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that: partially, the variables of work culture, compensation and work ethic have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Health promotion is the main strategy in efforts to improve public health. One indicator of its success is behavioral change towards Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of health promotion on improving PHBS in the community. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using one group pre-test and post-test. The sample consisted of 100 heads of families who participated in health promotion activities in the work area of ​​Health Center X. The results showed an increase in knowledge, attitude, and PHBS practice scores after being given health promotion with a p value <0.05. Conclusion: Health promotion is effective in improving PHBS in the community. Sustainable health promotion interventions are needed as part of preventive and promotive strategies in primary health services.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkoba merupakan permasalahan serius yang berdampak luas terhadap kesehatan, sosial, ekonomi, dan keamanan negara. Penanggulangan narkoba tidak hanya dapat dilakukan secara represif, tetapi perlu pendekatan promotif dan preventif yang lebih manusiawi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi dan metode yang efektif dalam upaya penanggulangan penyebaran narkoba dengan pendekatan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan wawancara mendalam kepada beberapa narasumber dari instansi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan promotif dan preventif yang dilakukan secara terintegrasi melalui edukasi, sosialisasi, rehabilitasi, dan penguatan komunitas memberikan hasil yang lebih signifikan dalam menekan angka penyalahgunaan narkoba dibandingkan dengan penindakan hukum semata. Penanggulangan secara manusiawi, seperti rehabilitasi dibandingkan kriminalisasi pengguna, dinilai lebih efektif dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

Household waste management is a major challenge for the community, especially in densely populated areas. The 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)-based community empowerment program is one solution that can increase awareness and active participation of the community in managing waste independently and sustainably. This community service activity aims to increase community knowledge and skills in sorting and processing household waste through the 3R method. The method of implementing the activity includes counseling, recycling practice training, and assistance in waste management. The results of the activity show an increase in community understanding of the importance of waste management and the formation of environmental activist groups that are active in 3R activities. This program has a positive impact on reducing the volume of household waste and improving environmental quality.

Abstract

Stroke is a leading cause of disability and long-term dependency in patients, especially in the elderly. In the context of post-stroke recovery, home care plays a crucial role in supporting rehabilitation and improving patients' quality of life. However, families' limited knowledge and skills in caring for stroke patients often pose a major obstacle to the recovery process. This community service activity aims to strengthen the role of families in caring for stroke patients through home care education provided by community nurses. The activity included counseling, practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and direct support for 20 families of stroke patients in the working area of Community Health Center X. Results showed a significant increase in knowledge, basic care skills, and family confidence after participating in the education. This activity demonstrates the strategic role of community nurses in family empowerment and spearheads the success of community-based home care programs. Sustainability of the program and cross-sectoral involvement are highly recommended to expand its impact.

Abstract

Diare masih menjadi salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas pada anak balita di Indonesia. Kualitas air minum yang buruk, khususnya di wilayah perkotaan dengan kepadatan penduduk tinggi, dapat meningkatkan risiko penularan diare. Mengetahui hubungan kualitas air minum dengan kejadian diare pada anak balita di wilayah perkotaan. Penelitian observasional dengan desain cross-sectional dilakukan pada 120 rumah tangga yang memiliki anak balita di Kecamatan X Kota Y. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, serta uji kualitas air (parameter fisik, kimia, dan mikrobiologi). Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dengan tingkat signifikansi p<0,05. Hasil menunjukkan 45,8% air minum rumah tangga tidak memenuhi standar kualitas, dan 38,3% balita mengalami diare dalam 3 bulan terakhir. Analisis statistik menemukan hubungan signifikan antara kualitas air minum dengan kejadian diare (p=0,002). Kualitas air minum yang buruk berhubungan dengan meningkatnya kejadian diare pada anak balita. Upaya peningkatan akses air bersih dan edukasi higienitas perlu diperkuat untuk mencegah diare di wilayah perkotaan.

Abstract

Indonesia faces unique challenges with breast cancer affecting younger populations, necessitating early health literacy interventions among adolescents to achieve SDG 3.4 targets. To develop a predictive model identifying determinants of breast cancer literacy among Indonesian adolescents. A cross-sectional study was conducted from March-June 2025 in West Sulawesi Province. The sample comprised 58 female adolescents (ages 14-17) from high schools (n=26, 44.8%) and vocational schools (n=32, 55.2%). Data collection utilized validated online surveys measuring ten breast cancer literacy indicators. Binary logistic regression with backward elimination was performed using SPSS 25.0. Overall, 56.9% (n=33) demonstrated inadequate literacy levels, with only 43.1% (n=25) achieving adequate levels. Critical knowledge deficits were found in prevention strategies (1.7% correct) and risk factor identification (37.3% correct), contrasting with high awareness of medical follow-up procedures (96.6% correct). The logistic regression model (Nagelkerke R²=0.618, Hosmer-Lemeshow p=0.512) identified four significant determinants: enrollment in high schools versus vocational schools (OR=4.3, 95% CI: 1.27-14.55, p=0.019), healthcare provider information sources (OR=7.3, 95% CI: 1.44-10.46, p=0.016), digital learning media utilization (OR=3.4, 95% CI: 1.13-10.46, p=0.031), and frequent health information-seeking behavior (OR=3.4, 95% CI: 1.01-11.66, p=0.048). This model enables targeted resource allocation for cancer prevention strategies supporting SDG 3.4, potentially reducing premature mortality through enhanced early detection behaviors among Indonesia's future generations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal, likuiditas dan profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2018-2022. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ada diperoleh 7 sampel dari populasi yang ada. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Struktur modal dan likuiditas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

Surveillance plays a crucial role in the early warning system for infectious diseases and outbreaks. Community health centers, as the spearhead of primary health care, have the primary responsibility for implementing continuous surveillance activities. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of epidemiological surveillance programs at community health centers in preventing outbreaks and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used a descriptive evaluative approach with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with surveillance officers, direct observation of reporting activities, and review of weekly infectious disease report documents. The research results show that from a contextual perspective, policies and implementation guidelines are available but have not been consistently implemented. From an input perspective, limited human resources and reporting facilities are the main obstacles. From a process perspective, routine data collection and reporting activities are ongoing, but timeliness and analysis of disease trends are still suboptimal. Meanwhile, from a product perspective, the surveillance system has assisted in the early detection of several potential outbreaks, although it has not been optimal in comprehensive prevention. In conclusion, the epidemiological surveillance program at the Community Health Center has been running according to guidelines but requires strengthening the capacity of surveillance personnel, increasing the use of information technology, and more effective cross-sector coordination.
