Abstract

Kebiasaan membaca merupakan sesuatu yang penting dan fundamental yang harus dikembangkan sejak dini dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Literasi merupakan salah satu kemampuan dasar yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah pada tingkat Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar dipilih karena pada masa ini anak berada pada periode emas perkembangan otak, dimana mereka sangat reseptif terhadap berbagai rangsangan lingkungan. Dalam proses tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penerapan budaya literasi, terdapat hambatan-hambatan yang dapat terjadi di antaranya: (a). Minimnya fasilitas untuk membaca, atau kurangnya sumber bacaan. (b). Kurangnya konsentrasi pada anak, sehingga berpengaruh pada tingkat pemahaman pembaca. Tujuan dari kegiatan penyuluhan gemar membaca untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi ini kepada peserta didik Jenjang Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar (SD) Sekolah Kharisma Kota Makassar tentang pemanfaatan pojok baca yang berguna dalam menerapkan gerakan literasi pada jenjang SD, maka dari itu sekolah dapat mengembangkan budaya literasi “Pojok Baca”. Melalui budaya literasi ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu alat bantu dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menambah wawasan peserta didik, pembendaharaan kata, melatih menulis, serta menumbuhkan minat baca pada anak sejak dini.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seseorang. Khususnya iterasi bagi anak-anak merupakan suatu kemampuan yang penting untuk dikembangkan sejak usia dini. Literasi sangat penting bagi anak-anak karena memiliki dampak positif yang luas pada perkembangan mereka dan masa depannya. Kemampuan literasi dasar dapat diperoleh dengan cara membaca, menulis, menyimak, berhitung dan berbicara. Dalam pengabdian ini dikhususkan pada literasi membaca dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca anak. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan seperti pengenalan literasi dan pentingnya literasi, gerakan literasi beruapa membaca cerita bergambar, penyediaan pojok baca sehingga pada saat istirahat, peserta didik dapat mengunjungi pojok baca tersebut. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai kegiatan yang membantu menumbuhkan minat baca anak dalam rangka mendukung Gerakan Literasi Bangsa. Literasi merupakan investasi yang sangat berharga dalam masa depan anak-anak. Itu membantu mereka tumbuh menjadi individu yang terdidik, berpengetahuan, dan berdaya saing, serta memiliki peluang lebih besar untuk meraih sukses dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Mentimer in learning German speaking. This study use quasiexperimental approach which involved a control group and an experiment group. Mentimeter media was implemented in the experiment group during 5 meetings. Students’ performance was measured before and after the implementation of learning process. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistics aimed to describe and categorize the levels of students’ performance, while inferential statistics aimed to discover whether there was a significant influence of mentimeter media in increasing students’ performance. Results show that the sig value of the experiment class is 0.00. It proves that Mentimeter media is effective in increasing students’ performance as the sig. value is lower than 0.05.  Keywords: Mentimeter, Web Based Learning Media Speaking, German, Learning Media

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this study is to explain the practicality of the integrated-critical model for Philosophy of Science teaching materials. The model is analyzed using an integrative-critical approach. This is a developmental research study that employs both qualitative and quantitative data. The model applied is the Four-D model by Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study show that the Philosophy of Science teaching materials are considered practical in terms of relevance, quality, benefits, economic efficiency, presentation strategy, coherence, logical flow of ideas, consistency, and systematic presentation. Moreover, the materials demonstrate a logical structure, balanced content, clear organization of chapters, and a variety of exercises. The practicality is also reflected in the performance outcomes of the sample, which achieved grades of A or A-, categorized as good and very good. It is hoped that future relevant studies will consider aspects such as relevance, presentation, evaluation, presentation of philosophy books, and practicality, with performance results correlating to grades of A or A-. Abstract

Media pembelajaran memainkan peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada guru bahasa Jerman di Sulawesi Selatan diperoleh informasi bahwa sebagian besar guru hanya menggunakan metode mengajar yang konvensional dan cinderung menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sama untuk segala situasi dan kondisi tanpa memperhatikan kebutuhan siswa dan materi yang diajarkan. Oleh sebab itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Bahasa Jerman dalam memanfaatkan teknologi mobile learning sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan siswa generasi Z. Penggunaan perangkat mobile learning menjadi kebutuhan dalam mengatasi keterbatasan ruang dan waktu. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah para guru Bahasa Jerman yang belum optimal dalam menggunakan aplikasi mobile learning sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu, penyampaian materi, demonstrasi aplikasi mobile learning, serta praktik langsung oleh peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang serta mengimplementasukan strategi pembelajaran bahasa Jerman berbasis mobile learning. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Jerman dan mendorong adopsi teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan secara lebih luas.

Abstract

Ketimpangan akses pendidikan di wilayah 3T (Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar) menyebabkan rendahnya tingkat literasi dasar, termasuk kemampuan bahasa anak dan remaja. Dalam konteks multibahasa Indonesia, literasi dalam lebih dari satu bahasa menjadi kebutuhan strategis untuk pemberdayaan dan penguatan identitas lokal. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus di tiga wilayah 3T: Pulau Serasan (terluar), Entikong (terdepan), dan Pegunungan Bintang (tertinggal). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis menggunakan metode tematik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pusat literasi multibahasa mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca anak-anak dalam bahasa ibu (rata-rata 82%), bahasa Indonesia (rata-rata 77%), dan bahasa Inggris dasar (rata-rata 48%). Selain aspek kognitif, program ini juga memperkuat rasa percaya diri, pelestarian bahasa lokal, dan partisipasi komunitas. Temuan ini memperkuat teori literasi sebagai praktik sosial dan pentingnya penggunaan bahasa ibu sebagai fondasi pembelajaran berbahasa lainnya. Pusat literasi tidak hanya menjadi sarana peningkatan kemampuan bahasa, tetapi juga berperan sebagai ruang interaksi budaya dan penguatan kapasitas komunitas lokal. Pusat literasi multibahasa terbukti menjadi pendekatan efektif dalam menjawab tantangan literasi anak di kawasan 3T. Dukungan kebijakan dan penguatan kapasitas fasilitator lokal sangat dibutuhkan untuk keberlanjutan dan perluasan program ini di wilayah lain.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the level of German personal letter writing skills of class XII IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Maros. This research applies a quantitative descriptive method using a research instrument in the form of a personal letter writing test in German. The population in this study was students of class XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Maros with a total of 133 students and 23 students were selected from class This research uses the Purposive Sampling method, namely selecting research samples for certain reasons. Abstract

Abstract. This study is a class action research that aims to determine the planning, implementation, and describe the results of the application of Vlog-based learning media in improving the speaking skills of students in class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 1 Maros. In this study there are two types of data, namely qualitative data which describes the results of implementation and observation during the teaching and learning process, as well as quantitative data which is the result of students' German speaking skills test. Based on the results of research from cycle I meeting 1, the observation results of the completeness of the implementation of teacher and student activities each reached 95%. At meeting 2, the observation results of the completeness of the implementation of teacher activities reached 100% and the completeness of the implementation of student activities reached 90%. There was an increase in observation results in cycle II. At meeting 1 the completeness of the implementation of teacher and student activities each reached 100%, at meeting 2 the completeness of the implementation of teacher activities reached 100% and the completeness of the implementation of student activities reached 95%. Based on the results of data analysis, the average score in cycle I was 67.20 and in cycle II there was an increase to 84.00. From the results of this study, it can be stated that Vlog-based learning media can improve students' German speaking skills.Keywords: Vlog Media, Speaking Skills, German

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and describe students' interest in choosing a German Language Education Study Program after participating in German language learning at school. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 116 students from seven schools obtained using purposive sampling. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire consisting of several aspects related to interest in learning and interest in continuing studies in the German Language Education Study Program. The results of this study show that, the majority of students (82%) have a passion and 66% of students also have sufficient interest in learning German. There are several aspects that attract students' attention in learning German, namely the ability to speak and communicate with a percentage level of 41%. However, students' interest and passion in learning German is not directly proportional to continuing their studies to the German Language Education Study Program, there are only 11% of students who have an interest and there are 34% of students who have no interest and 55% of students who are still in doubt. There are several causes of the lack or doubt of student interest, namely the existence of greater interest in other study programs, lack of information about the major or study program, lack of support from parents, and lack of career opportunities. The findings in this study indicate that although students' interest in learning German is high, it cannot directly encourage students' interest in continuing to the same major or study program in college.

Abstract

The Free Tutoring Program for Students from Underprivileged Families aims to enhance access to and quality of education for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The program includes the identification and selection of students, recruitment and training of tutors, development of learning materials and modules, implementation of tutoring sessions, as well as regular monitoring and evaluation. A total of 100 students from various elementary and secondary schools were selected to participate in this program. Tutors, consisting of college students, teachers, and volunteers, received intensive training to ensure the quality of the tutoring provided. The learning materials, based on the national curriculum, were adapted to the students' needs, covering core subjects and additional skills. The results of the program showed significant improvements in students' academic performance, increased motivation to learn, and enhanced self-confidence in their studies. The interactive and personalized tutoring sessions successfully created a conducive learning environment. Regular monitoring and evaluation ensured the program ran effectively and provided useful feedback for improvement. The provision of motivation and rewards also proved effective in maintaining students' enthusiasm for learning. The program demonstrated that through solid collaboration between various parties, including schools, education departments, and the community, as well as structured program implementation, students from underprivileged families can achieve better academic performance and have broader opportunities for their future. Suggestions for the sustainability of this program include expanding the program's scope, enhancing tutor training, developing digital modules, strengthening collaboration with the community, and continuous evaluation. Thus, this program is expected to continue contributing significantly to improving access to and quality of education for students from underprivileged families.
