Abstract

Lobster is one of the fisheries commodities with high economic value in Pangandaran Regency, especially at the Bojongsalawe Fish Auction Place (TPI). The high demand for lobster makes it one of the main sources of income for local fishermen. However, the efficiency of the lobster supply chain is still a challenge, especially in the aspects of product flow, information, finance and marketing margins at each distribution stage. This research aims to analyze the lobster supply chain at TPI Bojongsalawe using a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was obtained through primary and secondary analysis using interview methods and direct observation of fishermen, TPI managers, large traders, small traders and restaurant owners. The research results show that the lobster supply chain at TPI Bojongsalawe consists of seven chain structures which have different marketing efficiencies. The second marketing chain has the lowest marketing margin of IDR 80,000/kg or 40.47%, with a value fisherman share the highest was 76.34%, thus providing greater profits for fishermen. On the other hand, market share The largest was found in the seventh chain, where restaurants buy lobsters directly from fishermen, with a percentage reaching 58.49%. The main obstacles in the lobster supply chain include stock instability due to changes in weather conditions, significant price fluctuations, and a payment system that is not always done in cash. This has an impact on income uncertainty for fishermen and other market players. Therefore, a more efficient supply chain management strategy is needed, including the implementation of a centralized information system and increased coordination between market players. In this way, it is hoped that lobster distribution can be more optimal, fishermen's welfare will increase, and price stability will be better maintained.

Abstract

Produksi budidaya benih ikan nila merah dipengaruhi ketersediaan pakan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan nutrisi benih ikan nila merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari prebiotik berbasis limbah udang dan menentukan dosis optimum sebagai bahan tambahan dalam formulasi pakan buatan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila merah (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan 4 ulangan. Percobaan pemberian pakan dengan penambahan prebiotik berbasis limbah udang meliputi A (0%), B (1%), C (2%), dan D (3%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pemberian prebiotik berbasis limbah udang pada pakan buatan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan harian namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila merah. Perlakuan C dengan penambahan prebiotik berbasis limbah udang dosis (2%) 2g/100 gram pakan memberikan hasil tertinggi dengan peningkatan laju pertumbuhan harian dengan sebesar 1,23% dan nilai kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila merah menjadi 92,5%

Abstract

Choux pastry is a baked product that generally has low fiber content due to its primary ingredient, wheat flour, which contains minimal dietary fiber. Incorporating alternative ingredients rich in fiber can enhance its nutritional value. One such ingredient is Eucheuma cottonii seaweed flour, which is high in dietary fiber and offers potential for innovation in the utilization of fishery-based products. Dietary fiber plays an important role in binding water, improving digestion, and reducing the risk of certain diseases such as cancer. This research aimed to determine the optimal level of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed flour addition to choux pastry based on consumer preference. The study was conducted in December 2024 at the Fishery Product Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, and at the Chemistry Application Laboratory and PPBS Service Building, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padjadjaran University. An experimental method was used with four treatments: 0% (control), 7.5%, 10%, and 12.5% seaweed flour. Organoleptic tests (appearance, aroma, taste, and texture) were performed by 25 semi-trained panelists, and proximate analysis was conducted. The results showed that the choux pastry with 10% seaweed flour was the most preferred, with organoleptic scores of 7.8 for appearance, 7.6 for aroma, 7.5 for texture, and 7.7 for taste. Proximate analysis indicated that the 10% seaweed flour choux pastry contained 0.3% crude fiber, 2.9% moisture, 2.28% ash, 27.43% fat, 11.27% protein, and 56.09% carbohydrates.

Abstract

Penerbitan Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan No.18 Tahun 2021 (Permen KP No. 18/2021) bertujuan untuk menghadirkan regulasi pengaturan dan pengelolaan alat penangkapan ikan (API) dan alat bantu penangkapan ikan (ABPI) agar terciptanya manfaat yang optimal serta memberi perlindungan pada lingkungan hidup. Pada kebijakan tersebut, alat tangkap dogol kembali dilarang penggunaannya, dan menghadirkan Jaring Tarik Berkantong (JTB) sebagai solusi pengganti alat tangkap dogol yang sudah banyak digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh pemberlakuan Permen KP No. 18/2021 dengan membandingkan produktivitas hasil tangkapan dan pendapatan nelayan purse seine di Kandanghaur, Indramayu, serta persepsi stakeholder perikanan di Indramayu terhadap penerapan peraturan menteri tersebut. Asumsi yang dibangun adalah dengan dilarangnya dogol maka produktivitas dan pendapatan nelayan purse seine akan meningkat. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method (Kualitatif dan Kuantitatif) dengan menggunakan sensus sampling sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Mc Nemar guna membandingkan produktivitas dan pendapatan nelayan sebelum dan sesudah pemberlakuan kebijakan, dan skala likert dalam mengukur persepsi setiap pihak terkait pemberlakuan kebijakan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hal yang sebaliknya, bahwa terjadi penurunan produktivitas hasil perikanan purse seine yang mana pada  tahun 2020 sebesar 20.035 kg/trip menjadi 13.193 kg/trip pada tahun 2022, serta penurunan hasil lelang pada tahun 2020 sebesar Rp. 2.509.061.000 menjadi Rp. 1.661.266.580 pada tahun 2022. Persepsi yang diperoleh dari stake holder perikanan di Indramayu terkait implementasi Permen KP No. 18 tahun 2021 khususnya pada poin pelarangan dogol menunjukan bahwa kebijakan tersebut belum optimal. Hal tersebut ditunjukan karena masih tingginya aktivitas penggunaan alat tangkap dogol yang semestinya telah beralih menjadi alat tangkap JTB. Ditambah lagi dengan penegakan hukum yang kurang efektif.Kata kunci: Permen KP No. 18 Tahun 2021, Purse seine, Dogol, JTBAnalysis Of The Impact Of Implementation Of Minister Of Marine And Fisheries Regulation No.18/Permen-Kp/2021 On Purse Seine Fishery Activities In Indramayu DistrictMinister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Regulation No. 18 of 2021 (Permen KP No. 18/2021) was introduced to regulate and manage fishing equipment (API) and fishing aids (ABPI) to maximize benefits and ensure environmental protection. The policy specifically prohibits the use of dogol fishing gear and introduces the Pocket Towing Net (JTB) as an alternative. This study analyzes the impact of this regulation on the productivity and income of purse seine fishermen in Kandanghaur, Indramayu, and assesses the perceptions of fisheries stakeholders in Indramayu. The assumption is that by banning dogol, the productivity and income of purse seine fishermen would increase. The research employs a mixed-method approach, utilizing census sampling. Mc Nemar's approach is applied to compare the productivity and income of fishermen before and after policy implementation, and a Likert scale measures stakeholders' perceptions. Results reveal a decrease in purse seine fishery productivity from 20,035 kg/trip in 2020 to 13,193 kg/trip in 2022, along with a decline in auction results from Rp. 2,509,061,000 in 2020 to Rp. 1,661,266,580 in 2022. Fisheries stakeholders in Indramayu express dissatisfaction with the policy's effectiveness, citing continued high usage of dogol fishing gear instead of transitioning to JTB gear. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan E-Magazine interaktif sebagai media promosi digital bagi Smiling Coral Indonesia (SCI), sebuah kelompok konservasi berbasis di Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu. SCI selama ini mengandalkan media sosial dan brosur digital, namun konten yang disajikan masih bersifat umum, terbatas, dan belum merepresentasikan identitas maupun nilai konservasi secara menyeluruh. Untuk itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang dibatasi pada tahap analisis kebutuhan dan desain. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pengelola SCI, serta dokumentasi visual kegiatan. Analisis kebutuhan ditinjau dengan konsep STP (Segmentasi, Targeting, Positioning), yang menunjukkan bahwa target utama SCI adalah wisatawan individu dengan minat pada wisata edukatif dan konservasi, sementara target sekunder mencakup perusahaan dan lembaga pendidikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dirancanglah SCIMagz, E-Magazine interaktif yang menyajikan profil SCI, program konservasi, wisata edukatif, hingga testimoni dan penghargaan. Desain dikembangkan menggunakan Canva Pro dan ditampilkan secara interaktif melalui platform digital, dengan visual yang menonjolkan tema bahari dan keberlanjutan. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa SCIMagz dapat menjadi media promosi yang lebih menarik, informatif, dan terintegrasi dibandingkan strategi promosi sebelumnya. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut melalui uji kelayakan dan implementasi nyata agar SCIMagz berfungsi optimal sebagai sarana promosi wisata bahari berbasis konservasi.Kata Kunci: Wisata Bahari, Smiling Coral Indonesia, E-Magazine, Promosi Digital, Konservasi LautABSTRACTThis study focuses on the design of an interactive E-Magazine as a digital promotional medium for Smiling Coral Indonesia (SCI), a conservation group based on Pramuka Island, Kepulauan Seribu. SCI has relied on social media and digital brochures; however, the content presented remains general, limited, and has not fully represented its identity or conservation values. Therefore, this research employs the Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE development model, limited to the needs analysis and design stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews with SCI managers, and visual documentation of activities. The needs analysis was reviewed using the STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) concept, which indicated that SCI’s primary target is individual tourists interested in educational and conservation tourism, while the secondary target includes companies and educational institutions. Based on the analysis, SCIMagz was designed as an interactive E-Magazine presenting SCI’s profile, conservation programs, educational tourism, as well as testimonials and achievements. The design was developed using Canva Pro and displayed interactively through digital platforms, highlighting marine and sustainability themes. The design results demonstrate that SCIMagz can serve as a more engaging, informative, and integrated promotional medium compared to previous strategies. This research provides a foundation for further development through feasibility testing and real implementation to ensure that SCIMagz functions optimally as a promotional medium for conservation-based marine tourism.Keywords: Marine Tourism, Smiling Coral Indonesia, Interactive E-Magazine, Digital Promotion, Marine Conservation

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mengkaji pengelolaan dan peran Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Mangrove Angke Kapuk sebagai kawasan konservasi sekaligus destinasi ekowisata berkelanjutan di kawasan perkotaan Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan konservasi, serta data sekunder dari literatur dan dokumen pengelola kawasan. . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan TWA Mangrove Angke Kapuk berhasil memadukan pelestarian lingkungan dan pengembangan wisata melalui kegiatan konservasi, edukasi lingkungan, pengelolaan fasilitas wisata, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. TWA Mangrove Angke Kapuk menunjukkan keseimbangan antara aspek ekologi, ekonomi, dan edukasi yang dapat dijadikan model pengembangan wisata berkelanjutan khususnya di kawasan perkotaan.Kata Kunci: Taman Wisata Alam, Mangrove, Ekowisata, Edukasi Lingkungan, Wisata BerkelanjutanABSTRACTThis study examines the management and role of the Angke Kapuk Mangrove Nature Park (TWA) as a conservation area and sustainable ecotourism destination in the Jakarta metropolitan area. The study was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods, with primary data obtained through direct observation, interviews, and participation in conservation activities, as well as secondary data from literature and area management documents. The results of the study show that the Angke Kapuk Mangrove Nature Park has successfully combined environmental preservation and tourism development through conservation activities, environmental education, tourism facility management, and local community empowerment. The Angke Kapuk Mangrove Nature Park demonstrates a balance between ecological, economic, and educational aspects that can be used as a model for sustainable tourism development, especially in urban areas.Keywords: Natural Tourism Park, Mangrove, Ecotourism, Environmental Education, Sustainable Tourism

Abstract

UMKM Cemilan Teh Tati merupakan usaha yang bergerak dalam produksi dendeng belut di Kecamatan Tanjungkerta, Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) dan Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), serta melakukan analisis finansial bagi UMKM Cemilan Teh Tati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Analisis GMP dan HACCP dilakukan berdasarkan pedoman Peraturan BPOM dengan menggunakan metode checklist evaluasi kepatuhan. Analisis finansial menggunakan perhitungan biaya produksi, harga pokok penjualan (HPP), Break-Even Point (BEP), Return Cost Ratio (R/C), dan Payback Period (PP) untuk mengukur profitabilitas usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa UMKM Cemilan Teh Tati telah menerapkan sebagian besar aspek GMP dan HACCP dengan baik, namun masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pencatatan produksi dan pengelolaan titik kendali kritis. Dari segi finansial, usaha ini memiliki Return Cost Ratio (R/C) sebesar 1,34, yang menunjukkan usaha ini menguntungkan dan layak untuk dikembangkan.   UMKM Cemilan Teh Tati is a business engaged in the production of dendeng belut (eel jerky) in Tanjungkerta District, Sumedang Regency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), as well as conduct a financial analysis for UMKM Cemilan Teh Tati. The research method used is a descriptive method with a case study approach. GMP and HACCP analysis was conducted based on BPOM regulations using a compliance evaluation checklist method. Financial analysis was carried out using calculations of production costs, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Break-Even Point (BEP), Return Cost Ratio (R/C), and Payback Period (PP) to measure business profitability. The results showed that UMKM Cemilan Teh Tati had implemented most aspects of GMP and HACCP properly, although there were still shortcomings in production recording and critical control point management. In terms of financial analysis, the business has an R/C Ratio of 1.34, indicating that the business is profitable and feasible for development.

Abstract

The aims of the study was to analysis the level productivity and factors can influence the productivity of aquaculture in KJA of Carp and Tilapia in Cirata Reservoir, Ciranjang District, Cianjur Regency, with a research period from December 2024 - June 2025. The method used in this case study method with a sampling technique using the purposive sampling method. The data collection techniques by interviewing and distributing questionnaires with a total of 60 fish farmers as respondents, then the data obtained were analyzed using both descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Factors that influence productivity are analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression. The results of the study showed that the productivity level of aquaculture is seen from the productivity per unit area was 26.31 kg/year/m² and seen from the productivity per unit cost was IDR 20,69 /kg. In addition, result of the financial analysis showed an R/C ratio value of 1.9 which means it is that the cultivation business is profitable. The results of statistical tests show that the factors that can influence the productivity of aquaculture are seed quality, and age of fish farmers while land area, feed and length of experience do not have a significant effect.

Pola konsumsi remaja yang beragam membuat asupan pemenuhan gizi yang tidak maksimal. DKI Jakarta merupakan provinsi padat penduduk yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya perikanan yang besar. Sebagai wilayah pesisir, Kepulauan Seribu dan Teluk Jakarta menjadi wilayah potensi perikanan DKI Jakarta. Namun, tingkat produksi perikanan yang tinggi tidak menjamin masyarakatnya juga memiliki tingkat konsumsi ikan yang tinggi. Sehubung dengan itu, data informasi mengenai tingkat konsumsi ikan di satu wilayah sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dengan tingkat konsumsi ikan pada remaja. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dan analisis deskriptif menggunakan program SPSS (Social Package of Statistics Software). Data yang didapatkan bersumber dari data primer dengan penyebaran kuisioner melalui Google Formulir yang disebar melalui media sosial. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah cluster random sampling. Responden berjumlah 360 responden yang masing-masing terbagi menjadi 60 responden di 5 kotamadya dan 1 kabupaten. Keempat faktor yaitu kebiasaan makan di masa kanak-kanak, pengetahuan gizi, pendapatan orang tua, dan preferensi konsumen berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat konsumsi ikan pada remaja di DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze business income, profit-sharing systems, and the income of payang fishermen at the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method involving 17 payang fishing boats as samples chosen through random sampling. Primary data were collected via structured interviews, while secondary data came from official documents of PPN Palabuhanratu. The results reveal that the average net income per trip during the off-season, moderate, and peak seasons were IDR 3,500,440, IDR 4,310,359, and IDR 4,130,308, respectively. The profit-sharing system applied is a 2:1 distribution, with two parts for the boat owner and one part for the fishermen, plus an additional 5% for the helmsman. The boat owners earn between IDR 28–61 million per month, helmsmen earn IDR 3.5–7.7 million, and crew members earn IDR 1.2–2.7 million monthly. Compared to the 2024 Sukabumi minimum wage of IDR 3,351,883, only helmsmen during the moderate and peak seasons earn above the standard, while the crew members remain below the minimum wage across all seasons. Factors affecting fishermen’s income include season conditions, number of trips, catch volume, fish prices, and profit-sharing patterns. These findings indicate that the income of payang fishermen remains seasonal and unstable, especially for crew members, necessitating policy efforts to improve their welfare.
