Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of mathematical literacy skills on the learning outcomes of Santu Xaverius Gunungsitoli Private High School students. This research uses a type of quantitative experimental research using a one group pretest-posttest design. The object of this research is class X of Santu Xaverius Gunungsitoli Private High School. Data collection techniques use tests. The research instrument uses a pretest-posttest test. The data analysis technique uses the Independent Samples Test, which consists of the Kolmogorov-Smirnova normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the results of the research, analysis and discussion obtained from the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, in the experimental class posttest a significance value was obtained of 0.185 > 0.005 and in the control class posttest a significance value was obtained of 0.230> 0.005 while in the homogeneity test the significance value was obtained (sig 2- tailed) of 0.666> 0.05, which means the data is normally distributed. Meanwhile, in the Independent Samples Test, a significance (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means that there is an influence of mathematical literacy ability on the learning outcomes of Santu Xaverius Private High School students. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kemampuan literasi matematika terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA Swasta Santu Xaverius Gunungsitoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan menggunakan bentuk one group preteest-posttest design. Objek penelitian ini adalah kelas X SMA Swasta Santu Xaverius Gunungsitoli. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Intrumen penelitian menggunakan tes pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Samples Test, yang terdiiri dari uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnova dan uji homogenitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, analisis dan pembahasan didapatkan dari uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov, pada Posstest kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,185 > 0,005 dan pada posstest kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,230> 0,005 sedangkan pada uji homogenitas diperoleh nilai signifikansi (sig 2-tailed) sebesar 0,666> 0,05 yang artinya data berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan pada uji Independent Samples Test diperoleh signifikansi (sig. 2- tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya ada pengaruh Kemampuan literasi matematika terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMA Swasta Santu Xaverius.

Abstract

This research is development research that aims to produce products in the form of LKPD based on Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) which is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is research development. The development model used is the 4D model. There are four stages in the 4D model are define, design, develop, and disseminate. The data collection instruments used are validation sheets, questionnaires given to experts to find out the feasibility of the product and questionnaires given to experts. given to experts to find out the feasibility of the product and a questionnaire given to students to find out the attractiveness of the product. Given to students to determine the attractiveness of the product. Results validity results obtained from material experts, linguists, and media experts obtained an average of 97.5%, while the practical results of students obtained an average of 92.6%. average of 92.6%, and the effectiveness test results obtained an average of 91.6%. It can be concluded that the AKM-based LKPD is categorized as very valid, very practical, and very effective. valid, very practical, and very effective for improving students' numeracy literacy skills. literacy skills of students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors influencing the academic achievement of mathematics education students at Nias University. The researcher employed the CHAID method to address this research problem. Data was collected through an online survey distributed to Mathematics Education students from the 2020 to 2023 cohorts who were in their second to eighth semesters. The analysis results indicate that both the type of residence and gender significantly influence students' academic achievement. The analysis revealed that students who chose to live in dormitories or with their parents significantly obtained higher Grade Point Averages (GPAs) compared to those who chose to live with guardians or in rented accommodations. The findings of this study can be utilized to design more effective intervention programs to enhance students' academic achievement, particularly for those who choose specific types of residence. A deeper understanding of the factors influencing academic achievement is expected to serve as a foundation for efforts to improve the quality of education at Nias University..

Abstract

Early studies show that: (1) students' mathematical abilities are in the category of lacking; and (2) The learning process still does not utilize technology in an integrated manner. Therefore, LKPD was developed using a liveworksheet to overcome these problems. The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, practical and effective LKPD to improve students' mathematical problem-solving skills. This research uses the ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation) development model. The instruments in this study are learning outcome tests, material expert validation questionnaires, linguist validation questionnaires, media expert validation questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the research, the LKPD developed has been tested and declared valid both in terms of material validity, language validity and media validity. Furthermore, the LKPD is also very practical based on the results of the teacher response questionnaire and the student response questionnaire. The LKPD developed is also effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills, as seen from the test scores of student learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that LKPD using the liveworksheet developed has met the expectations or objectives of the research.

Abstract

Gunungsitoli dan diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa masih berkategori kurang dan bahan ajar yang digunakan masih terbatas. Pendidik juga jarang menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) untuk materi matematika tingkat SMK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D, yang terdiri dari define, design, development, dan disseminate. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar, angket validasi dan angket respon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid baik dari segi materi, bahasa, dan media. Selanjutnya, modul pembelajaran juga sangat praktis dengan persentase kepraktisan pada tahap ujicoba sebesar 91%, pada tahap penyebaran sebesar 94%, dan persentase respon guru sebesar 91,42%. Modul pembelajaran juga sangat efektif dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada uji kelompok besar sebesar 83,36% dan pada tahap penyebaran sebesar 90,60%. Dengan demikian, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi AR berupa modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi harapan atau tujuan penelitian. Kata Kunci: Multimedia, Augmented Reality (AR), Modul Pembelajaran, model 4D

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low mathematics learning outcomes at one of the State High Schools in Umbunasi. The primary purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between character education and mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative descriptive method emphasizing the cause-and-effect relationship. The research design applied is correlational. The research subjects comprised 24 students in grade XII-Science at the State High School. The instruments used to collect data include observations, questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. The study results showed that the questionnaire and test data were normally distributed. The hypothesis test using the t-test produced a local value = 603, more significant than the ttable value = 1.717, which means that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, indicating a significant relationship between character education and mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the product-moment correlation test showed a calculation value = 0.700, more significant than the table = 0.404, which showed a strong relationship between the two variables and the contribution of character education of 49.06% to mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis etnomatematika untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 4 Tuhemberua Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 di kelas VII. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari angket validasi ahli bahasa, materi, dan desain; angket respon peserta didik; angket respon guru dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik dalam menggunakan produk yang dikembangkan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, modul yang dibuat telah teruji sangat layak oleh validator ahli bahasa instrumen angket sebesar 98,66%, ahli bahasa pada modul sebesar 100%, ahli materi I sebesar 99,5%, ahli materi II sebesar 97,9%, ahli desain sebesar 94,2%. Modul yang dikembangkan sangat praktis digunakan dengan presentase 92,2%. Selanjutnya, modul juga efektif digunakan dengan presentase sebesar 87,10%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, modul berbasis etnomatematika tergolong efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa. The research instrument consisted of a validation questionnaire for linguists, materials, and design; student response questionnaire; teacher response questionnaire and student learning outcomes test in using the developed product. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the study, the module made has been tested very feasible by the validator linguist instrument questionnaire of 98.66%, language experts on the module by 100%, material experts I by 99.5%, material experts II by 97.9%, design experts by 94.2%. The developed module is very practical to use with a percentage of 92.2%. Furthermore, the module is also effective to use with a percentage of 87.10%. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini di latar belakangi berdasarkan hasil pendahuluan yang di lakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Hiliduho, di temukan masalah apakah ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran 4C untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Metode eksperimen dengan variabel terikat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, dan variabel bebas adalah keterampilan model pembelajaran 4C. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Hiliduho, Sampel dalam penelitian teridiri dua kelas dengan jumlah siswa 40. Intrumen penelitian berbentuk tes uraian kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis satu pihak, di peroleh nilai  sebesar = 3,155 dan == = 1,739 karena = 3,155 >  = 1,739, maka tolak  diterima  yang berarti “Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran 4C untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa” Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran 4C, Pemahaman Konsep   Abstract The background of this research was based on preliminary results conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Hiliduho, where the problem was found whether or not there was an influence of the 4C learning model to increase students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This type of research is qualitative research using experimental methods. The experimental method with the dependent variable increases students' understanding of mathematical concepts, and the independent variable is the 4C learning model skills. The population of this research were students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Hiliduho. The sample in the research consisted of two classes with a total of 40 students. Abstract

This research is based on the results of preliminary study observations that have been carried out by researchers at the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara which is located on Jl. Tafaeri Menuju Desa Hambawa, Gunungsitoli City. Where it turns out that SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara has used the Independent Curriculum in the 2023/2024 academic year so that the purpose of this study is "to what extent is the implementation of their curriculum at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara". The type of research used is qualitative research in this study. information is collected through observation and interviews. Data reduction techniques, data visualization, and conclusion drawing were used to analyze the data. The independent variable of this study is the Implementation of the independent curriculum and the dependent variable is Mathematics learning at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara. The results of the study obtained based on observations and interviews at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara, namely the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli has been implemented in the 2023-2024 academic year until now, then the school applies the Independent learning category. then the implementation of learning in the independent curriculum is in accordance with the implementation and evaluation planning. Then the obstacles encountered in schools such as lack of facilities and infrastructure, reduced internet facilities, reduced teacher readiness in teaching, especially in making CP, TP, ATP and also learning modules and efforts to overcome these obstacles are to carry out training for teachers then maximize the availability of facilities and infrastructure and also internet facilities. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini didasari oleh hasil observasi studi pendahuluan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh peneliti di Sekolah Mengengah Kejuran (SMK) Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara yang mana lokasinya di  Jl. Tafaeri Menuju Desa Hambawa, Kota Gunungsitoli. Dimana ternyata SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara sudah mengunakan Kurikulum merdeka pada tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024  sehingga adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah “ sejauh mana penerapan kurikulum mereka di SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara”. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dalam penelitian ini. informasi dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Teknik reduksi data, visualisasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan digunakan untuk menganalisis data.variabel bebas dari penelitian ini adalah Implementasi kurikulum merdeka dan sedangkan variable terikatnya adalah pembelajaran Matematika di SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara.Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara di SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara yaitu implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli telah diterapkan pada tahun ajaran 2023-2024 hingga sekarang kemudian sekolah menerapkan kategori Mandiri belajar. kemudian pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kurikulum merdeka sudah sesuai adanya perencanaan pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kemudian kendala-kendala yang didapatkan di sekolah seperti kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, kurangi fasilitas internet, kurangi kesiapan guru dalam mengajar terlebih dalam pembuatan CP,TP,ATP dan juga modul belajar dan upaya untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut yaitu melaksanakan pelatihan-pelatihan kepada guru-guru kemudian memaksimalkan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana dan juga fasilitas internet.

Abstract

Learning processes and daily life are significantly influenced by reasoning ability. Specifically, in mathematics education, reasoning is crucial for students to master. Reasoning plays a vital role in the development of mathematical thinking, serving as a foundation that enables students to delve into and understand general mathematical concepts and to draw conclusions from mathematical problems. By applying a problem-based learning model, students can be assisted in solving mathematical problems related to current issues. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective, aiming to analyze and describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities through the problem-based learning model. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Gunungsitoli Utara. The results showed that after the reasoning ability test, student scores varied, with the highest score being 87, the lowest 31, and an average of 63.35, categorized as moderate. The analysis identified several factors affecting students' reasoning abilities, including lack of conceptual understanding, inconsistency in problem identification, lack of precision, and difficulty in finding formulas to solve problems.
