Abstract

This study delves into the philosophical underpinnings of constructivism within the realm of student management. Constructivism, a pedagogical approach rooted in the belief that learners actively construct knowledge through their experiences, interactions, and reflections, has gained prominence in educational discourse. This research aims to critically examine how the principles of constructivism shape and influence the management of students in educational settings. The investigation employs a philosophical lens to scrutinize the core tenets of constructivism, exploring its implications for the design and implementation of effective student management strategies. By synthesizing educational philosophy and practical management methodologies, this study seeks to provide insights into how educators can leverage constructivist principles to enhance the overall learning experience for students. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis, the research aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on the integration of philosophical perspectives into educational practices. By unraveling the connections between constructivism and student management, this study endeavors to inform educators, administrators, and policymakers about the potential benefits and challenges associated with adopting a constructivist approach in shaping the educational journey of students. The findings aim to guide educational stakeholders in fostering an environment that nurtures active learning, critical thinking, and meaningful engagement among students.

Abstract

The Implementation of Islamic Social Etiquette in the Philosophy of Educational Management is the focal point of investigation within the context of Madrasah Trubus Iman in Padang Pangrapat, Tanah Grogot. This research aims to delve into and analyze how the application of Islamic social etiquette values within the framework of the philosophy of educational management can shape students' characters. The research method employed is qualitative research. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis related to educational management in Madrasah Trubus Iman. The research findings indicate that Madrasah Trubus Iman has effectively implemented an educational management approach based on Islamic social etiquette. In the context of integrating Islamic values, such as covering one's aura, avoiding illicit sexual relations, prohibiting unmarried couples from being alone, performing prayers, speaking politely, being obedient to parents, forbidding smoking among adolescents, and greeting fellow Muslims. The positive implications of implementing Islamic social etiquette are not only limited to the aspect of students' character but are also evident in the improvement of the learning atmosphere and interpersonal relationships between students and teachers. Mutual respect and care become crucial points in creating an educational environment that supports holistic student growth. Overall, this research contributes to our understanding of how Islamic social etiquette can be integrated with the philosophy of educational management to create quality Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate and critically assess the application of principles outlined in the Philosophy of Science as a foundational framework to enhance the efficacy of educational management at Madrasah Aliyah Fathur Rahman Batu Sopang. Positioned as a comprehensive paradigm, the Philosophy of Science serves as a guiding compass and philosophical underpinning for educational development within the confines of the mentioned madrasa. Utilizing a qualitative research approach with a case study design, the study employs in-depth interviews, observational techniques, and document analysis as principal methods of data collection. The findings reveal how the intrinsic principles of the Philosophy of Science, including objectivity, the scientific method, and the nexus between knowledge and reality, are assimilated and operationalized across diverse facets of educational management within Madrasah Aliyah Fathur Rahman. The analytical framework also examines responses and the consequential impact of applying these principles on overall educational management effectiveness, encompassing leadership dynamics, decision-making processes, and enhancements in pedagogical quality and the learning environment. The application of the philosophy of science and the principles of Islamic education creates a robust foundation for the development of a holistic and effective educational system. Implementing the philosophy of science, with a focus on objectivity, scientific methods, and the interconnectedness between knowledge and reality, provides a profound philosophical basis for the learning process. These principles align with Islamic values that emphasize the importance of knowledge, justice, and the harmony between reason and revelation. Through the integration of the philosophy of science in Islamic education, the learning process can become more rational, purposeful, and responsive to the spiritual and intellectual needs of students. Thus, the application of the philosophy of science can assist in formulating teaching methods and managing Islamic education that is not only based on faith but also utilizes scientific principles to achieve a deeper and sustainable understanding.

Abstract

This research explores the philosophy of religious educational management at State Elementary School 002 Kuaro. he primary focus is to comprehend the philosophical principles underlying the administration of religious aspects in the context of elementary education. The research methodology employed is qualitative, utilizing interview and observation techniques. The research subject is State Elementary School 002 Kuaro, one of the formal educational institutions under the auspices of the Education Agency of Kabupaten Paser, established in 1974, located at the village of Keluang Paser Jaya, Kuaro District, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. This study centers its attention on the scope of educational management in the school, including curriculum management, facility and infrastructure management, as well as financial management. The research findings indicate that the philosophy of religious education management at State Elementary School 002 Kuaro reflects religious values integrated into daily policies and practices. This includes instilling habits and rituals as an implementation of the teachings. Students are accustomed to participating in collective prayers, reading the Quran, and performing Friday Dhuha prayers together in the school courtyard, among other practices. In the implementation of the philosophy of religious management at State Elementary School 002 Kuaro, there are still several challenges, especially related to the utilization of facility and infrastructure management and financial management, in its efforts to enhance the application of religious management philosophy in the school.

Abstract

In the face of various challenges stemming from the advancement of science and specialization across disciplines, the continual evolution of knowledge endures, seamlessly transitioning from one era to the next. The progression of knowledge development would be rendered impossible without human involvement or capability. The Qur'an provides guidance and ethical teachings that hold the potential for seamless integration into the decision-making processes, strategic planning, and governance of educational institutions. Delving deeper into the integration of philosophy into the management of Islamic education becomes imperative to gauge the depth of comprehension through the lens of the Qur'an. This research uses qualitative methods, examining Quranic verses related to integrating philosophy into Islamic educational management. By means of a thorough literature review and an exploration of pivotal Qur'anic verses, encompassing Surah Al-Jasiyah verse 20, Surah Al-Qamar verse 17, Al-Baqarah verse 2, Surah Yunus verse 3, Surah Al-Ra’du verse 2, Surah Al-A’raf verse 29, Surah Al-Ahzab verse 24, Surah An-Nisa verse 58, Surah Ar-Rahman verses 7-9, Surah Al-Baqarah verse 286, Surah Al-Hasyr verse 18, Surah Ali Imran verse 103, Surah Al-Kahf verse 2, Surah Hud verse 117, and Surah Ash-Shura verse 6, the research findings lead to the conclusion that the philosophical underpinning in the management of Islamic education, when harmoniously integrated from the perspective of the Qur'an, can give rise to a comprehensive and all-encompassing approach.

Abstract

This research discusses a philosophical examination of freedom of expression in the context of the implementation of Islamic education management. Freedom of expression becomes a crucial aspect in the development of a dynamic and innovative work environment. Through a philosophical approach, this research analyzes the concept of freedom of expression in the context of management, identifies its impact on decision making, and evaluates the role of management in supporting freedom of expression. This article aims to conduct a philosophical review of freedom of expression in the context of the implementation of Islamic education management. The main focus of this research is to delve into the concept of freedom of expression within the framework of Islamic values and how this concept can be integrated into educational management. The research uses philosophical analysis and literature methods to explore the views of Islamic philosophers regarding freedom of expression and identify the relevance of this concept in the administration of Islamic educational institutions. However, this freedom is not absolute but is limited by Islamic moral and ethical values. The concept of freedom of expression in Islamic education management requires a profound understanding of Islamic values, in line with the educational objectives desired in the context of religious teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the philosophy of tahfiz quarantine and boarding school management in increasing enrollment interest at Insan Cendekia Paser Islamic High School. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the philosophy of tahfiz quarantine and boarding school management at Insan Cendekia Paser Islamic High School has had a positive impact on increasing enrollment interest, as evidenced by the growing number of applicants each year. Student registration for the first time in 2015 was 150 students, until 2023 there will be 371 students interested in registering. This research took data from the deputy head of the school for public relations and student affairs, parents and students when re-registering in 2023. The research shows that among parents and students interested in entering MAN Insan Scholar Paser is the existence of a dormitory system and tahfiz activities as part of the superior program MAN Paser Scholar Person. The philosophy emphasizes the importance of character development, morality, and knowledge. Tahfiz quarantine and boarding school also provide a unique and engaging experience for students, making them more interested in studying at Insan Cendekia Paser Islamic High School. Research topics include parents of students, incoming students, students who are undergoing or who have been quarantined in Tahfiz, as well as students who live in the MAN Insan Scholar Paser Dormitory. This diversity of research topics provides a more comprehensive picture of the impact of implementing management principles. Information collection was carried out through interviews, observation and document analysis. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of tahfiz quarantine and boarding school management philosophy can be considered a contributing factor in enhancing enrollment interest at MAN Insan Cendekia Paser.
