Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kandungan nutrisi sisa makanan dan limbah organik dapur pesantren di Kabupaten Tanah Laut sebagai pakan lokal ternak unggas. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor I yaitu jenis mikrorganisme (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Neurospora crassa dan Saccharomyces cerevisiae) dan Faktor II yaitu lama fermentasi (lama fermentasi 5, 7 dan 9 hari). Peubah yang diamati adalah kandungan bahan kering (%), protein kasar (%BK), lemak kasar (%BK), serat kasar (%BK) dan total abu (%BK). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tidak terjadi interaksi antara jenis mikroorganisme dengan lama fermentasi, namun masing-masing faktor yaitu jenis mikroorganisme (Faktor I) berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kandungan lemak kasar dan serat kasar dan lama fermentasi berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kandungan lemak kasar dan serat kasar. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan fermentasi sisa makanan dan limbah dapur organik fermentasi dengan Saccharomyces cerevisiae dengan lama 7 hari diperoleh kandungan nutrisi bahan kering 92,46%, kandungan protein kasar 20,17% BK, kandungan lemak kasar 16,76% BK, serat kasar 5,90% BK dan total abu 7,44 %BK.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Probiotik konsorsium merupakan kombinasi dari berbagai mikroorganisme yang saling bekerja sehingga menghasilkan manfaat yang lebih baik dibandingkan probiotik tunggal. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan dosis pemberian probiotik konsorsium yang terbaik dilihat dari uji organoleptik daging broiler meliputi tekstur, rasa, warna dan aroma. Penelitian menggunakan ayam broiler yang dipelihara selama 35 hari dengan pemberian level probiotik konsorsium berbeda dalam air minum. Pakan yang digunakan adalah BR 1 Wonokoyo. P0 = pemberian level 0 ml probiotik konsorsium, P1 = pemberian level 0,5 ml probiotik konsorsium, P2 = pemberian level 1 ml probiotik konsorsium dan P3 = pemberian level 1,5 ml probiotik konsorsium dengan 5 kali pengulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tekstur, rasa, warna dan aroma daging. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pemberian probiotik konsorsium pada ayam broiler memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap tekstur daging, rasa daging, warna daging dan aroma daging. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan pemberian level 1 ml probiotik konsorsium pada ayam broiler diperoleh tekstur daging 4,40; rasa daging 4,31; warna daging 3,82 dan aroma daging 4,14.Kata kunci: Probiotik, konsorsium, tekstur, rasa, warnaThe Effect of Probiotic Consortium Dosage on the Organoleptic Quality of Broiler MeatABSTRACT. Consortium probiotics are a combination of various microorganisms that work together to produce better benefits than single probiotics. This research aimed to obtain the best dose of probiotic consortium based on organoleptic tests of broiler meat, including texture, taste, color, and aroma. This study used broiler chickens that were reared for 35 days by administering different levels of probiotic consortium in drinking water. The feed used is BR 1 Wonokoyo. P0 = Giving probiotic consortium level 0 ml, P1 = Giving probiotic consortium level 0.5 ml, P2 = Giving probiotic consortium level 1 ml, and P3 = Giving probiotic consortium level 1.5 ml with 5 times covered. The parameters observed were texture, taste, color, and aroma of meat. The results of this study showed that giving a probiotic consortium to broiler chickens had a very significantly different effect (P<0.01) on meat texture, meat taste, meat color, and meat aroma. From the results of this study, it was concluded that by administering 1 ml of the probiotic consortium to broiler chickens, the meat texture was 4.40, the meat taste was 4.31, the meat color was 3.82, and the meat aroma was 4.14.

Abstract

Tanaman gelinggang (Cassia alata L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas pertanian unggulan dari Kalimantan Selatan. Daun gelinggang (Cassia alata L.) mengandung senyawa fitokimia yaitu fenolik, flavonoid, saponin dan tannin yang dapat bersifat sebagai antibakteri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis pelarut terbaik dalam ekstraksi daun gelinggang ditinjau dari aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri patogen dalam saluran pencernaan seperti Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp dan Staphylococcus aureus. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen, dan rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah : A = Tanpa AGP Sintetis dan Ekstrak Daun Gelinggang (Kontrol Negatif), B = AGP Sintetis (Kontrol Positif), C = Ekstrak Daun Gelinggang dengan Pelarut Air, D = Ekstrak Daun Gelinggang dengan Pelarut Etanol dan E = Ekstrak Daun Gelinggang dengan Pelarut Metanol. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ekstrak daun gelinggang dengan pelarut aquades, etanol dan methanol mampu menghambat bakteri patogen saluran pencernaan unggas (Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp, Staphilococcus aureus). Kemampuan zona hambat ekstrak daun gelinggang dengan pelarut aquades, etanol dan metanol terhadap bakteri patogen saluran pencernaan unggas (Escherichia coli, Salmonella sp, Staphilococcus aureus) sama atau tidak berpengaruh nyata dengan kemampuan zona hambat AGP sintetis (kontrol positif), namun memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda sangat nyata dengan perlakuan tanpa AGP sintetis dan ekstrak daun gelinggang (Kontrol Negatif).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kandungan nutrisi sisa makanan hotel dan restoran di Banjarmasin sebagai pakan ternak unggas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial. Faktor A (Jenis Mikroorganisme) yaitu A1= Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, A2= Neurospora crassa, A3 = Saccharomyces cerevisiae dan Faktor B (Lama Fermentasi) yaitu B1= Lama fermentasi 5 hari, B2 = Lama fermentasi 7 hari dan B3 = Lama fermentasi 9 hari. Peubah yang diamati adalah kandungan energi metabolisme (kkal/kg), protein kasar (%), lemak kasar (%) dan serat kasar (%). Hasil penelitian ini antara jenis mikroorganisme dengan lama fermentasi menunjukan interaksi antara sangat nayata (P<0,01) terhadap kandungan energi metabolisme, namun tidak terjadi interaksi terhadap kandungan protein kasar, lemak kasar dan serat kasar. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan fermentasi sisa makanan restoran dan hotel di bajarmasin dengan Bacillus amyloliquefaciens pada lama fermentasi 7 hari diperoleh kandungan energi metabolisme 3.484,23 kkal/kg, protein kasar 21,41%, lemak kasar 7,69% dan serat kasar 5,90%. Abstract

Mathematic is a study that must be comprehended by everyone including adults in order to make life easier in dealing with others. However, how do they obtain mathematical literacy skill without formal education? This research was conducted aiming at examining whether adults implement the concept of self-learning or not, hence their mathematical literacy skill is sufficient enough even without proper formal education. This study employed descriptive qualitative research design. The data were gathered by doing interviews to the respondents. This study revealed that the concept of self-learning is actually applied by adults as a solution to improve their mathematical literacy skills. There was even respondent that conducts all phases of self-learning concept, consequently his mathematical literacy skill is significantly much better than the other respondents. It also reveals that each stage of self-learning concept is useful and indeed affecting learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to support the development of cattle fattening business in the Integrated Agricultural Center (SPT) managed by PT Arutmin Indonesia. The research method used in this study is Field Work Practice (PKL) which is carried out at PT Arutmin Indonesia Site Asamasam, Simpang Empat Sungai Baru Village, Jorong District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province. This street vendor lasts for three months, from March 4, 2024 to June 3, 2024. The results of this study show that the productivity of indigofera, sorghum, elephant grass and odot grass in SPT is 2.92 tons, 4.5 tons, 2.9 tons, and 0.278 tons respectively with a dry matter content of 4.08% respectively; 4,8%; 6,57%; and 7.48%. Based on the results of the feasibility analysis of the cattle fattening business in the tax return. The cattle fattening farm business in the SPT is feasible to run because it has a turnover of Rp. 400,000,000 with PP for 5 years and the company will break even if the BEP price is Rp. 15,321,525 and successfully sells 15 cows.

Abstract

To support the management of forage and cattle fattening business at the Integrated Agricultural Center (SPT) of PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asamasam. This research uses the Field Work Practice (PKL) method which is carried out for three months, starting from March 4, 2024 to June 3, 2024. During this period, various activities are carried out according to a predetermined schedule and can be adjusted to other activities of the company. This street vendor was held at PT Arutmin Indonesia Tambang Asamasam, which is located in Simpang Empat Sungai Baru Village, Jorong District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The results of this study show that Silage P3 (sorghum 40% and indigofera 60%) and P4 (sorghum 20% and indigofera 80%) are seen from physical quality (color, texture, aroma, and pH) and chemical quality, especially protein content, are in accordance with cow fattening. The physical qualities of sorghum silage and indigofera (color, texture and aroma) are almost the same very well there are no failures in the fermentation process. The pH value of silage is able to stay below 4 so that the silage is of good quality. The chemical quality of sorghum and indigofera with water content of 67.78 – 70.02%, ash content 4.03 – 6.83%, crude protein 4.69 – 19.41%, crude fat 7.58 – 9.35%, crude fiber 38.21 – 40.29%, carbohydrates 18.60 -23.59%, phosphorus 0.13 – 0.21%, calcium 0.16 – 0.91% and calories 197.27 – 228.54Cal/g can be used for cattle fattening.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the physical quality of rice bran from different mills in Tanah Laut Regency. Data were collected in this research by means of observation and interviews at five different mills in Tanah Laut, namely Panyipatan, Bumi Makmur, Takisung, Kurau and Pelaihari Districts. Data collection was continued with analysis of the physical quality of the bran in the laboratory. Data was processed manually and analyzed descriptively. The parameters measured for the physical quality of rice bran are water content, pile density, pile compaction density, pile angle and specific gravity. The results of this research show that the physical quality of rice bran from different mills in Tanah Laut Regency has good criteria in terms of water content, namely: 11.18 – 13.31%; stack density 300.00 - 430.00 gram/cm3;  pile compaction density 395.04 - 693.45 gram/cm33; stack angle 32.09 - 53.85° and specific gravity 0.219 - 0.143 gram/cm3.

Abstract

West Sumatra is an area that has a large number of fermented food products, one of which is fermented fish called Budu. The purpose of this study was to isolate and identify Lactid Acid Bacteria isolates from Budu fish from Padang Pariaman Regency and evaluate their probiotic potential. The research method is as follows: isolation of Lactid Acid Bacteria from Budu fish, followed by assessment of resistance tests to gastric pH and bile salts and antimicrobial activity. Then, 16S rRNA was used to assess the species of lactic acid bacteria isolates. Of the 10 samples, one sample of Isolate MKS4, with potential antimicrobial activity was reported. The results showed that the morphological and biochemical characteristics of Lactid Acid Bacteria include Gram-positive bacteria, bacilli and catalase negative included in the homofermentative bacteria group. The greatest antimicrobial activity was shown by Escherichia coli MKS4 0157:H7 (14.79 mm), S. aureus ATCC 25923 (14.89 mm) and enteritidis ATCC 13076 (16.64 mm). The results of molecular identification using 16S rRNA showed that the isolated lactic acid bacteria had similarities with the Lactobacillus strain parabucneri strain HBUAS56106, namely antimicrobial potential against pathogenic bacteria. Lactobacillus. parabucneri strain HBUAS56106 can be used as an antidiarrheal agent and the best antimicrobial compound is classified as a probiotic bacteria

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pengelolaan limbah industri di Kota blitar, dengan fokus pada peran Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) dalam menjalankan kebijakan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana (2014) melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan belum berjalan optimal karena keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, minimnya pengawasan, serta rendahnya kesadaran pelaku industri terhadap pengelolaan limbah. Meskipun demikian, terdapat upaya pembinaan dan sosialisasi oleh DLH untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kebijakan. Berdasarkan teori implementasi kebijakan Edwards (1990) dan prinsip good governance (Singh, 2023), penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi pelaksana, dan struktur birokrasi sebagai faktor penentu keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan lingkungan.
