Abstract

Kantor ataupun instansi yang menggunakan jaringan nirkabel atau hotspot dengan banyak pengguna memerlukan manajemen pengguna. Penerapan manajemen pengguna ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah admin dalam mengkonfigurasi jaringan nirkabel tersebut. Admin juga memerlukan sistem monitoring untuk memantau akses jaringan nirkabel. Hal ini dikarenakan jaringan nirkabel mempunyai kerentanan keamanan. Oleh sebab itu, diterapkan pengaturan sistem keamanan dengan Server AAA  (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) pada pengguna jaringan nirkabel. Sistem keamanan tersebut akan melakukan pengecekan otentikasi, otorisasi, dan audit atau accounting pada pengguna. Dukungan server AAA dalam pengaturan jaringan nirkabel ini menggunakan teknologi RADIUS dengan penggunaan server di sistem operasi Debian. Keberadaan server ini bertujuan untuk menyimpan data pengguna jaringan nirkabel. Sedangkan, teknologi RADIUS dipilih karena mendukung pengaturan multi user dan multi roaming. Selanjutnya, pada router mikrotik dilakukan instalasi API bot telegram untuk berperan sebagai sistem monitoring jaringan secara real time. Hasil dari penerapan manajemen user dan sistem monitoring jaringan nirkabel tersebut menjadikan network administrator dapat memantau user, jam login, jam logout, dan alamat IP melalui aplikasi Telegram.

Abstract

Game merupakan salah satu hiburan yang diminati banyak orang. Tidak melihat umur ataupun profesinya, siapa saja senang untuk bermain game. Perkembangan Android menjadi sebuah sistem operasi telepon pintar yang paling banyak digunakan di  dunia. Pertumbuhan jumlah game yang disediakan pada Google Playstore sebagian besar tergolong sebagai game gratis yang bisa diunduh oleh siapa saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan evaluasi terhadap struktur desain game yang dibuat oleh Tracy Fullerton, dengan mengembangkan variable yang diuji pada setiap genre game yang ada pada Google Playstore. Diharapakan setiap genre memiliki karakteristik dan kelemahan sebagai patokan data bagi para developer dan desainer game untuk menciptakan game yang lebih variatif.

Abstract

The method used for the Ion Exchange process to determine the characteristics of the zeolite is refluxing the zeolite using a 4 M LiCl solution for 36 hours at a temperature of 72℃ and calcined at a temperature of 400℃ for 10 hours. XRF characterization results showed natural zeolite Lampung had moderate Si/Al levels with 8.97 and 8.79 for those given lithium, while zeolite 13X had low Si/Al levels with 4.31 and 3.77 for those given lithium. The XRD results show that Lampung's natural zeolite is clinoptilolite and 13X zeolite is NaX. The results of the adsorption test using the PSA tool, namely for natural zeolite Lampung, the highest oxygen value was 21.3% and that was given lithium at 21.2% for the single bed and double bed types. For zeolite 13X, the highest oxygen value was 22% and that given lithium was 24% for the single bed type, and for the double bed type the highest oxygen value was 21.8% and those given lithium were 24.9%.

Abstract

Combustion of corn leaf as a model of biomass from agricultural waste is a simple way to obtain the energy. It produces a low-value by-product of ash and is rich in silica that can become a precursor for zeolite production. In this study, acid-treated corn leaves combustion was performed to produce high purity silica (SiO2). The diffraction pattern suggested that the extracted silica was amorphous without the impurities phase. Additionally, the nitrogen isotherm indicated that the material was highly mesoporous silica with a total surface area of 200 m2/g. The hydrothermal method was then applied with a composition molar ratio of 1.25SiO2:1Al2O3:5Na2O:250H2O to synthesize zeolites from the silica. The temperature and time effect on the hydrothermal zeolite’s synthesis was investigated. The diffraction pattern shows that high crystalline zeolite Na A-X was produced at temperatures of 100°C and 8 h hydrothermal time. According to nitrogen physisorption analysis, the zeolite Na A-X consisted of micropores with a total surface area of 270 m2/g. The morphology of zeolite Na A-X was cube for the Na-A and octahedral for the Na-X. The hydrothermal temperature and time highly affected the zeolite formed. This research suggested that the ash waste could be valorized through conversion into a high economic value zeolites.

Abstract

A community service program in the form of workshops and soft skills training in the form of 2D drawing skills for teachers and laboratory assistants at Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Banten Province has been implemented. This activity is in partnership with SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. This program is implemented to improve the ability of educators to help students face the world of work and industry after they graduate. The application used in this workshop and training is the AutoCAD application. The training material is about an introduction to AutoCAD, drawing simple 2D objects and complex 2D objects. Participants in this training activity consisted of teachers and laboratory assistants. This training activity uses presentation methods, tutorials, practice, discussions, questions and answers, and exercises. The training results showed increased participants' soft skills in 2D drawing using the AutoCAD application. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk workshop dan pelatihan softskill berupa keterampilan menggambar 2D pada guru dan laboran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Provinsi Banten telah dilaksanakan. Kegiatan ini bermitra dengan SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. Program ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para pendidik untuk membantu peserta didik dalam menghadapi dunia kerja dan industri setelah mereka lulus. Aplikasi yang digunakan pada workshop dan pelatihan ini yaitu dengan menggunakan aplikasi AutoCAD. Materi pelatihan yang diberikan yaitu tentang pengantar AutoCAD, menggambar objek 2D sederhana dan menggambar objek 2D kompleks. Peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini terdiri dari guru dan laboran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode presentasi, tutorial, praktik, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan latihan. Hasil pelatihan didapatkan peningkatan kemampuan softskill para peserta dalam drawing-2D dengan menggunakan aplikasi AutoCAD.

Abstract

This is The Stirling engine is one of the alternative power generators that can be implemented at this time. The power generated by the Stirling engine can be used as a generator of electrical energy or for automotive applications. This study aims to determine the optimum performance of the stirling engine in power and torque by providing variations in temperature. The test temperature was carried out by providing energy from LPG fuel with varying temperatures, namely 200˚C, 300˚C, 400˚C, 500˚C, 600˚C and 700˚C. The data taken is RPM, power and torque. From the test results, for 200˚C is 16 W, for 300˚C is 30.66 W, for 400˚C is 45.72 W, for 500˚C is 67.5 W, for 600˚C is 81.06 W, for 700˚C is 105.27 W. In this study, a variant of changing the weight of the flywheel was also carried out. The test results show that an increase in flywheel weight of 1 kg causes an increase in RPM of 22.7% and power of 22.7%.

Abstract

Rice bran is one of the parts produced from rice milling, this part contains more than 20% dietary fiber. Rice bran has many useful substances, but its use is hampered by bran itself because it is easily damaged due to hydrolytic and oxidative activity. To overcome this problem, another method is needed so that the Bekatul can last longer. A drying machine is a machine used to reduce the air content in a substance. The aim of this research is to design the structure of a rice bran drying machine with various types of selected materials to obtain stress and cooling values. The method used in this research is finite element simulation. The materials varied in this research were AISI 304, Aluminum alloy 6061 and Galvalume Steel with thickness 0.7 mm. From the test results, it can be stated that all materials are safe to be used as the main material for making structure. However, there is one best material that produces the best maximum stress values and the smallest displacement, namely Galvalume Steel

Abstract

Plastic waste causes negative impacts for environmental such as air pollution, water pollution, and others. To solve this problem, a plastic processing machine was made. Barrels and screws are the most important components of this machine. Aims in this study to find maximum thermal stress for the barrel and screw component in the plastic waste machinery with temperatures operation 260 0C and variation material. Finite element method are used to simulate and show that the results for the barrel using alloy steel has a maximum von Mises stress of 618,292 MPa.  For displacement, this alloy steel material also has a maximum displacement of 0.612 mm. For the screw material used by using AISI 4340 Steel has a maximum von Mises stress of 849.997 MPa and the maximum displacement of 0.673 mm. It can be said that this material is still safe when used for barrels and screws component in the plastic waste machine processing.

Abstract

Agriculture waste-based materials have considerable potential as wood-based particleboard alternatives. It has been produced abundantly from nature and considers an eco-friendly material. One of the enormous resources is the paddy by-product, rice straw (about 500 million tonnes per year worldwide). In this work, the mechanical properties of rice straw-based particleboard are predicted easily and quickly using the sessile drop method.  Rice straw was crushed into 2-5 mm diameter powder-like materials, and corn starch was used as the binder. The rice straw particleboard was formed under a hot press machine (5 MPa, 180°C and 120 minutes). Conventionally, the sample mechanical property was tested through Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Unfortunately, the process is costly and difficult to access. It is necessary to have a rapid and low-cost presumption of the mechanical particleboard properties toward more efficient manufacturing. This work proposes a simple sessile drop method to indicate particleboard mechanical properties. Multiple linear regression was performed to see the correlation between sessile drop and UTM testing. It was found statistically that the sessile drop method could be used as an early prediction of particleboard mechanical properties.

Abstract

The development of the world of photography today is very rapid and has become a very important need in human daily life. The diversity of social media is a means of appreciating and publishing photography or images. So that there are many opportunities that can be obtained from the diversity of social media for the development of photography, one of which is photography is used as a marketing medium for a product. Product photos are one of the factors that support whether the product looks attractive or not when it is promoted on social media. GUNUSA or (Gunungkidul Usaha) is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (UMKM) that covers all areas in Wonosari, Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. Where the people who are members of this group are small regional community groups that have products that have high selling value. However, understanding of techniques and the use of product photos as promotional needs is still hindered by expensive and sophisticated equipment, besides that, community resources in the area are still rarely knowledgeable about the use of product photos. For this reason, to meet the needs of Gunusa, it is necessary to provide assistance and training on product photography techniques in the form of introduction to theory, practice on location, and product photo trials with media from each business field of UMKM participants, it is hoped that by using Smartphones as a cheap photography tool. and easy to find can increase marketing on social media
