Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan aplikasi berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, praktisi pembelajaran Fisika, dan pendapat dari 31 siswa di SMAN 1 Soppeng. Metode penelitian adalah metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Adapaun presentasi hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan media berdasarkan penilaian Ahli materi di 95,37%, Ahli media di 90,21%, Praktisi pembelajaran di 99,19% dan untuk Respon Siswa semua pertanyaan mendapat “Respon Positif” dengan persentase ≥ 70%, . Media pembelajaran berbasis android ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Pengelolaan yang baik dan peningkatan kualitas layanan diharapkan dapat membantu peserta didik menjadi individu berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan pembelajaran kimia dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 2 Makassar, fokus pada dimensi tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas XII IPA yang berjumlah 351 orang dan sampel 157 orang menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan model skala Likert dan analisis data menggunakan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil analisis IPA menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan pembelajaran kimia dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMAN 2 Makassar perlu memprioritaskan dimensi tangible dan responsiveness, mempertahankan dimensi assurance, serta mengevaluasi reliability dan empathy yang cenderung berlebihan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan yang relevan untuk evaluasi layanan pembelajaran kimia.

Abstract

Pencarian informasi dan data yang relevan merupakan bagian integral dari proses pembelajaran, baik bagi guru maupun peserta didik. Di era digital saat ini, search engine menjadi sarana utama untuk mengakses informasi dan sumber belajar di internet. Penggunaan search engine dalam pembelajaran modern memberikan banyak manfaat. Siswa dapat dengan mudah mengakses informasi yang mereka perlukan, memperdalam pemahaman mereka terhadap topik tertentu, dan meningkatkan efisiensi dalam belajar. Namun, penggunaan search engine juga menghadapi tantangan, seperti ketidakakuratan dan ketidakrelevanan informasi, serta masalah terkait dengan kualitas dan keandalan sumber informasi. Tantangan ini juga dirasakan oleh guru-guru SMA Negeri 5 Gowa yang memiliki kebutuhan yang besar terhadap penggunaan search engine dalam penyediaan materi pembelajaran dan pencarian informasi terkait topik yang sedang dipelajari. Solusi yang dapat diterapkan adalah pelatihan tentang optimalisasi hasil pencarian search engine menggunakan metode foot print. Metode ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk menyajikan hasil pencarian yang lebih spesifik sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka, meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam mendapatkan informasi. Dengan pelatihan ini, guru dan siswa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan search engine untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran dan penelitian.

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik  dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis problem pada mata pelajaran fisika di kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif (Classroom Action Collaboration Research) yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat di kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X8 semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 29 peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan setiap akhir siklus dilakukan refleksi terhadap tindakan yang diberikan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan instrument tes berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan perolehan rata-rata persentase kolaborasi peserta didik siklus I dan siklus II meningkat namun tidak signifikan. Terjadi peningkatan persentase yang membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis problem dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Makassar pada mata pelajaran fisika. Keywords: Model Pembelajaran berbasis Problem, Pemahaman Konsep, Penelitian Tindakan kelas

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve the physics learning outcomes of students through the application of discovery learning model with peer tutor method. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kurt Lewin model design. The research subjects were X IPA 1 class at UPT SMAN 4 Gowa in the 2023/2024 school year. Data collection techniques used written tests. Data analysis techniques used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in physics learning outcomes. The average value of physics learning outcomes before the action was 61,54 with a percentage of completeness of 23,33% in the very less category. The average value of physics learning outcomes in cycle I was 74,55 with a percentage of completeness of 54,17% in the less category. The average value of physics learning outcomes in cycle II was 75,71 with a percentage of completeness of 65,52% in the sufficient category. Thus, the discovery learning model with a peer tutor approach can improve physics learning outcomes in class X IPA 1 at UPT SMAN 4 Gowa. Keywords: learning outcomes, discovery learning, peer tutoring

Abstract

This research is survey research that aims to determine the relationship between (1) interest in learning with learning outcomes of physics, (2) independent learning with learning outcomes of physics, (3) interest in learning and independent learning together with learning outcomes of physics, (4) interest in learning with physics learning outcomes if it controls learning independence and (5) independent learning with physics learning outcomes if it controls learning interest. The research sample of 110 students was obtained through a multistage random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and tests. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the average score of learning interest was in the high category, learning independence was in the high category, and physics learning outcomes were in a low category. For inferential statistics, there is a positive and significant relationship between learning interest and physics learning outcomes, there is an insignificant positive relationship between learning independence and physics learning outcomes, and there is a positive but not significant relationship between learning interest and learning independence together with learning outcomes physics, there is a positive but not significant relationship between learning interest and physics learning outcomes if controlling for independent learning, there is no positive and significant relationship between independent learning and physics learning outcomes if controlling for interest in studying physics for Students of SMA Negeri 2 Gowa.Keywords: learning outcomes of physics, independent learning, interest in learning.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v24i1.pp59-71

Abstract

This study is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to examine the level of students’ satisfaction on the quality of Physics learning services in the implementation of Merdeka (independent) curriculum at UPT SMAN 2 Makassar. The research population was 360 ​​ grade X students. The sampling used in the study was the proportional cluster random sampling technique and obtained a sample of 300 students. Data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The data analysis used was Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results of the IPA analysis reveal that the quality of educational services in the tangible (physical evidence) and reliability dimensions at UPT SMAN 2 Makassar, the service quality is so-so and considered less important by students, so the handling is in low priority. In the dimensions of assurance, empathy, and responsiveness, the service quality needs to be maintained because the reality discovered is in accordance with the students’ expectations. The results of the CSI analysis obtained a value of 75.57%, indicating that the students’ satisfaction on the quality of Physics learning services in the implementation of Merdeka curriculum at UPT SMAN 2 Makassar is in "satisfied" category.

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to describe a valid profile of STEM-based teaching material development, analyze students' responses to the development of teaching materials and analyze the effectiveness of STEM-based teaching materials to examine creative thinking skills. This research was conducted at SMAN 9 Makassar in class XI MIA 6 consisting of 32 students as respondents. STEM-based physics learning was carried out 5 times on static and dynamic fluid material. Learning activities contain four elements, namely science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and the STEM results made are making hydraulic bridges and simple mosquito sprays from used materials. The development model used was ADDIE which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The ADDIE model is a development procedure carried out by producing a STEM-based physics learning product. The intended product is to produce a STEM-based physics teaching material, step-by-step. These steps are included in the teaching material that must be validated and ready to be used by the teachers in carrying out learning so that students can think creatively. The results showed the practicality of physics teaching material based on practical STEM. It was seen from the results of the responses of students and the responses of teachers who were in the very good category. Learning using STEM-based teaching materials is effective and can make students think creatively. This is shown in the fluency thinking indicator with a percentage of 74.58%, the flexible thinking indicator 71.25%, the original thinking indicator 81.56%, and the elaborative thinking indicator 82.03%, with an average percentage of 77.36% which is in the creative category.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a problem-based learning model and to measure its effect on students' physics learning outcomes. This research is a pre-experiment using a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all students in class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi for the 2022/2023 academic year, while the sample was 35 students who were selected using the Slovin method. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the average score of students' physics learning outcomes before using the problem-based learning model was 7.26. Conversely, after using the problem-based learning model, the average score of students' physics learning outcomes was 12.14. The results of the N-gain test analysis showed N = 0.36, which indicated that there was an increase in students' physics learning outcomes after using the problem-based learning model. Therefore, this study concluded that the problem-based learning model is effective in improving the physics learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technologies has created new opportunities to enhance learning processes in science education, particularly in physics, which is often perceived as abstract and conceptually difficult. Students frequently struggle to interpret invisible phenomena such as electric charges and fields, leading to misconceptions that hinder higher-order thinking skills. In response to this challenge, augmented reality (AR) has emerged as a promising instructional tool capable of visualizing abstract concepts and fostering active engagement. This study aimed to investigate the effect of AR-based learning media on students’ critical thinking skills in high school physics. A quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only nonequivalent control group was employed, involving two intact Grade XII classes: the experimental group (n = 32) received instruction using PyLo-AR, while the control group (n = 33) was taught through conventional methods. Data were collected using a validated essay test that measured four critical thinking indicators: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the experimental group achieved a higher mean score (M = 14.56, SD = 2.03) compared to the control group (M = 12.94, SD = 1.95). Inferential analysis using the independent samples t-test indicated a statistically significant difference between the groups (p = 0.002), confirming the effectiveness of AR-based instruction. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on critical thinking outcomes rather than solely on conceptual understanding or motivation. In conclusion, AR-based media not only improve students’ mastery of abstract physics concepts but also strengthen their critical thinking skills, offering meaningful contributions to the advancement of physics education in the twenty-first century.
