Abstract

Sabda Rattan Furniture & Crafts is a furniture shop that sells various rattan and bamboo craft products. The shop operates in the rattan and furniture craft industry. The shop is located at Jl. Ahmad Jazuli No.21, Kotabaru, Kec. Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta City, Yogyakarta Special Region. The development of increasingly sophisticated technology has made competition in the rattan craft business increasingly fierce, especially competition in marketing products. The promotional media used by the Sabda rattan furniture & craft shop still uses paper containing 2-dimensional images of rattan craft products so it is less interactive and interesting. Based on these problems, this research builds a new promotional media using Augmented Reality technology. This technology can display models of rattan craft products in 3 dimensions using Android. MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) is a method used in software development. The final result of this research is an application that can display rattan craft models in 3 dimensions by scanning markers or without markers with the help of an Android smartphone.

Abstract

Sanika, is a Muslim clothing store in Kaligondang Village, Purbalingga Regency. Currently, product marketing uses Whatsapp Group which makes it less effective because potential customers must join the group to get information and place orders. To improve efficiency, this project develops mobile-based applications with REST API technology, which is a link between the admin system and the application system. In the development stages using the ADDIE method is a method used in system development. In this method there are five different steps, which begin with Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, so that the stages of work become directed and smooth. The final result of this research is an application that can display a product catalog and can place orders by customers by selecting products directly on the application display, thereby increasing customer experience and efficiency in ordering a product.

Abstract

The main challenge faced by educators in the current digital era is creating interesting and informative learning materials. Graphic design plays an important role in creating effective learning materials. As an easy-to-use graphic design platform, Canva can be an effective solution to meet these needs. Using Canva in graphic design to create learning materials is a community service that aims to improve the quality of learning materials by utilizing the Canva graphic design platform. This research aims to provide tools and knowledge for educators in creating interesting and informative learning materials. This training was carried out using interactive lecture methods, direct practice and question and answer. The measurement of the results achieved is an increase in educators' skills and understanding in using Canva for graphic design. This is proven by the quality of the learning materials produced after the training. Evaluation of the learning materials that have been created also shows improvements in visual appeal, message clarity and overall learning effectiveness. Thus, the use of Canva in graphic design for creating learning materials has had a positive impact in improving the quality of learning and students' learning experiences.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melibatkan para nelayan dan penduduk disekitar pantai labu pesisir utara kabupaten Deli Serdang kecamatan Pantai Labu, yang sebagian besar penduduk desanya mengandalkan pekerjaan di laut, seperti nelayan atau nakhoda kapal penyeberangan antar pulau. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan oleh tim dari Politeknik Adiguna Maritim Indonesia (Poltek Ami) Medan di kecamatan Pantai Labu, tujuan utama adalah untuk mencari solusi terkait pelestarian lingkungan dan pencegahan pencemaran laut yang bersumber dari sampah kapal dan sampah plastic di wilayah pesisir tersebut. Laut, yang menjadi sumber penghidupan bagi masyarakat setempat, terutama nelayan di desa pesisir pantai labu, sangat rentan terhadap dampak pencemaran. Oleh karena itu, tim  Politeknik Adiguna maritime Indonesia (Poltek Ami) Medan berencana untuk mensosialisasikan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan dan dampak buruk apabila terjadi pencemaran laut, yang meliputi sampah plastik, limbah industri, serta limbah minyak dari kapal para nelayan.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a digital application for reporting illegal waste disposal sites with interactive map integration as a solution to urban waste management issues. Before the implementation of the digital system, reporting was conducted manually, where citizens had to upload photos of illegal waste sites to the Google Drive managed by the Environmental Agency (DLH), and admins verified each report individually while coordinating with field officers manually. This process caused delays in follow-up actions, duplicate reports, and lacked a structured database of illegal waste locations. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which allows iterative and flexible processes based on user needs. Data were collected through interviews with DLH officials and field observations to map the reporting workflow of illegal waste disposal sites. The system consists of two platforms: a mobile application for citizens (reporters) and field officers, and a web dashboard for DLH admins. The mobile application for citizens allows reporting illegal waste sites with photos, descriptions, and coordinates through OpenStreetMap integration. The mobile application for field officers receives tasks from admins and monitors the handling status in real-time. The web dashboard enables admins to verify reports, assign tasks to officers, and monitor the overall handling process in real-time. Black Box Testing showed that all main features, such as user authentication, report submission, admin verification, task assignment, and submission of completion proof, functioned according to system requirements. Limited testing indicated that the implementation of the system increased reporting efficiency by 62.5% and strengthened the transparency of the reporting process. Thus, the system is considered effective in facilitating citizens to report illegal waste locations and enabling admins to monitor and follow up reports in real-time.

Abstract

Pandemi yang terjadi di seluruh dunia berdampak pada aspek kehidupan manusia, salah satunya adalah bidang pendidikan. Pembelajaran tatap muka beralih menjadi daring. Pembelajaran daring menimbulkan keresahan dari sisi guru, diantaranya kesulitan guru dalam menggunakan media penunjang pembelajaran daring seperti zoom, google meet, screen cast o matic dll. Berawal dari keresahan dari guru di lapangan tersebut, maka kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran daring, sehingga dapat melakukan modifikasi dalam pembuatan materi pembelajaran untuk siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Guru diberikan pelatihan untuk menggunakan aplikasi Gem Reflektif dan aplikasi Screen Cast O Matic. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama empat hari di SLB Tunas Sejahtera Seyegan. Pengukuran tingkat keterampilan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan menggunakan instrument kuesioner keterampilan dalam pembelajaran daring. Abstract

Meskipun pendekatan Outcome Based Education (OBE) telah menjadi perhatian dalam berbagai penelitian sebelumnya, kajian yang secara khusus membahas kemampuan dosen dalam menerapkan prinsip OBE pada penyusunan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) masih terbatas, khususnya di perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan dosen dalam menyusun RPS berbasis OBE dengan menelaah keselarasan antara Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL), Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK), Sub-CPMK, aktivitas pembelajaran, dan sistem penilaian. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain analisis dokumen terhadap tiga dokumen analisis RPS. Data dikumpulkan melalui telaah dokumen secara sistematis dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif-analitis berdasarkan prinsip OBE dan constructive alignment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosen pada umumnya telah memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik mengenai konsep OBE, terutama dalam perumusan capaian pembelajaran dan penyusunan materi ajar. Namun demikian, masih ditemukan kesenjangan berupa penggunaan kata kerja operasional yang kurang terukur, ketidakkonsistenan keterpaduan CPL–CPMK–Sub-CPMK, serta indikator dan rubrik penilaian yang belum dirinci secara optimal. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik dosen memegang peran penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi OBE dan merekomendasikan penguatan pembinaan akademik serta pelatihan penyusunan RPS berbasis OBE. Studi ini juga membuka peluang penelitian lanjutan terkait pengembangan asesmen pembelajaran berbasis OBE.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran merupakan komponen esensial dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) karena tidak hanya menilai aspek kognitif, tetapi juga sikap dan keterampilan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran pada ranah sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan di SMP Negeri 9 Medan, serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Islam yang mengajar di SMP Negeri 9 Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI telah menggunakan berbagai instrumen evaluasi, seperti tes tertulis dan lisan untuk ranah kognitif, observasi dan jurnal sikap untuk ranah afektif, serta penilaian kinerja dan rubrik praktik ibadah untuk ranah psikomotorik. Namun demikian, implementasi evaluasi pembelajaran masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan merumuskan instrumen yang objektif untuk menilai sikap dan keterampilan, serta terbatasnya pelatihan teknis bagi guru. Upaya yang dilakukan guru meliputi kolaborasi melalui Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), pemanfaatan teknologi digital sederhana, serta pengembangan instrumen secara bertahap sesuai konteks pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi evaluasi guru PAI telah mengarah pada penilaian autentik dan komprehensif, meskipun masih memerlukan dukungan sistemik dari sekolah dan pemerintah.   Learning assessment is an essential component of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) because it assesses not only cognitive aspects, but also the attitudes and skills of students. This study aims to analyze the strategies used by IRE teachers in developing learning assessment instruments in the areas of attitude, knowledge, and skills at SMP Negeri 9 Medan, as well as to identify the obstacles and solutions applied. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were Islamic Religious Education teachers who taught at SMP Negeri 9 Medan. The results showed that PAI teachers had used various evaluation instruments, such as written and oral tests for the cognitive domain, observation and attitude journals for the affective domain, and performance assessments and worship practice rubrics for the psychomotor domain. However, the implementation of learning evaluation still faces obstacles in the form of time constraints, difficulties in formulating objective instruments to assess attitudes and skills, and limited technical training for teachers. Efforts made by teachers include collaboration through Subject Teacher Working Groups (MGMP), the use of simple digital technology, and the gradual development of instruments in accordance with the learning context. This study concludes that PAI teachers' evaluation strategies have led to authentic and comprehensive assessments, although there are still.

Abstract

The ideal leader is an expectation for every society in the world. Leadership is a relationship between the influence of the leader and the one being led. Leadership also functions to execute power to invite, influence, guide, mobilize and build other people to do something to achieve certain goals. To implement, Islam provides normative and philosophical bases on the principles of leadership. These principles include deliberation, fairness, gentleness, freedom of thought, synergy in building togetherness. The principles taught by Islam are in line with the thoughts of one of the Islamic philosophers, Ibn Khaldun. Furthermore, he emphasized that the social solidarity factor is crucial to become an ideal leader.

Abstract

This determination of melon fruit ripeness is an important factor in ensuring fruit quality in terms of taste, texture, and market value. However, ripeness assessment is still predominantly performed manually and relies on subjective judgement, which may lead to decreased product quality, inefficient distribution processes, and potential economic losses. Therefore, an automated approach for classifying melon ripeness levels is required. This study aims to analyze and compare the performance Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes algorithms for melon ripeness classification based on digital images using Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) feature extraction method. The dataset used in this study consists of 630 melon images divided into three ripeness classes, 209 unripe, 220 semi ripe, and 201 ripe images. The research process includes image preprocessing, data augmentation, feature extraction, model training, and performance evaluation. Experimental results show that the SVM with a Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel, using parameter C=10 and the default value, achieves the highest classification accuracy of 94%, while the Naïve Bayes algorithm attains an accuracy of 65%. These results indicate that the SVM algorithm demonstrates superior classification performance compared to Naïve Bayes in determining melon ripeness levels.
