Abstract

MAN 2 Kulon Progo is one of the madrasahs in Kulon Progo that has various extracurricular activities. In the 2023/2024 academic year, MAN 2 Kulon Progo has 24 extracurricular activities. The large number of extracurricular activities certainly attracts students' attention, but the large number of extracurricular activities makes it difficult for the school to record student data, manage extracurricular activities, and there is a risk of errors in data recording. Based on these problems, a web and mobile-based extracurricular management application was built. The purpose of this study is to build an extracurricular management application that can be used by students to register for extracurricular activities and get information about extracurricular activities, extracurricular supervisors can easily manage student data, and extracurricular teachers can manage extracurricular activities more easily.

Abstract

This research aims to classify the ripeness levels of Indramayu mangoes using the K-Means Clustering algorithm based on HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) color features. The process begins with capturing mango images, followed by preprocessing steps such as normalization and resizing to enhance image quality. Next, color feature extraction is conducted, focusing on the Hue value as an indicator of color changes that characterize ripeness levels. The optimal number of clusters is determined using the Elbow method, resulting in two clusters: ripe mangoes and unripe mangoes. The clustering quality evaluation is performed using the Silhouette Score, which indicates an accuracy of 80%. The results demonstrate that the K-Means algorithm successfully classifies Indramayu mangoes, generating 495 image data divided into two main categories. This study contributes to improving the efficiency of automated mango ripeness classification, with potential applications in the agricultural industry.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using the index card match method. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the index card match method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 66.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.66%. Thus, the use of the index card match method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Silver Gym is a fitness center in the Kasihan area, Bantul, Yogyakarta which provides various types of exercise equipment such as dumbbells, Smith machines, treadmills and others. The problem faced by Silver Gym in Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta, is the wide variety of gymnastic equipment and movements that are difficult for members to memorize and understand, often leading to incorrect execution and muscle injuries. This issue arises due to a lack of knowledge regarding the correct use of equipment and movements. To address this, the research aims to design and develop an augmented reality (AR)-based application that introduces gym equipment and exercise variations, helping users understand the function and proper usage of the equipment. The application is developed using Unity 3D and is equipped with 3D objects and information about the names and functions of the gym equipment. The methodology used in this research involves the design and implementation of AR technology within the application. The result of the study is the creation of an AR-based application that provides interactive visual knowledge to users, with the goal of reducing injury risks due to incorrect movements and maximizing the workout results for Silver Gym members.

Abstract

Voice-based emotion detection technology (SER), is the study of machines' ability to comprehend patterns in voice data, utilizing a range of methods and features. However, its utilizations remains limited due to the inherent challenges faced by machines in accurately discerning emotions. This research was conducted using a frequently used method, namely CNN and was developed to produce a high-accuracy method, with spectrogram features due to their capacity to record frequencies in RAVDESS. The data set comprised 2068 voice samples classified into five emotion classes: angry, afraid, happy, sad, and neutral. The augmentation of all data regarding noise, pitch, shifting, stretching, and high and low speed, was implemented to replicate real-world conditions. This research was conducted by training on several parameters such as: learning rate, dropout rate, kernel, weight decay size, optimization, epochs, and batch size. This research resulted in a CNN method with the best parameter values produced {weight_decay': 1e-07, 'optimizer': 'adamw', 'learning_rate': 0.001, 'kernel_initializer': 'he_normal', 'dropout_rate': 0.5, 'epochs': 100, 'batch_size': 48}, which has score value of 0.7448840381991815. The model demonstrated a general accuracy level of 75.85% for the training data and 51.64% for the test data, indicating its ability to recognize existing patterns but difficulty in generalizing new data. However, the ROC curve values indicate that the model is capable of differentiating voice data into its respective classes, with values of 0.84 for angry emotions, 0.79 for fear emotions, 0.83 for happy emotions, 0.80 for sad emotions, and 0.9 for neutral emotions.
