Abstract

This study aims to describe people's perceptions of female farm laborers in Wuwuk Village, Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted from May to July 2023. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from direct interviews with 25 respondents who are the general public of Wuwuk Village. Secondary data obtained from literature studies, libraries, and journals. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the people of Wuwuk Village on average agree with women's work as farm laborers because according to the community work as farm laborers is work that not only men but also women can do. The Wuwuk Village community considers that the women farm workers in Wuwuk Village are tough women whose energy and performance are not inferior to men, and there are even women whose energy and performance are better than men. However, there are also people who disagree with women's work as farm laborers because according to the community work as farm laborers is not suitable for women, they argue that women should focus on household activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profitability of “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant in Bahu, Malalayang District, Manado City. The research was conducted over a period of 3 (three) months from September to November 2023 at “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant in Bahu, Malalayang District, Manado City. Primary data for this study were obtained through direct interviews with the owner of “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. Secondary data included business records from “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant and internet sources such as journals. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. Data analysis in this study included production cost analysis, revenue analysis, and profit analysis. The results of the study indicate that “Tinutuan Marlan” Restaurant in Bahu, Malalayang District, Manado City is profitable. The total weekly revenue received is IDR6,126,000, total weekly expenses are IDR3,428,250, resulting in a weekly profit of IDR2,697,750. For daily calculations over 6 days a week, the restaurant receives IDR1,021,000 per day in revenue, incurs IDR571,375 in daily expenses, and achieves a daily profit of IDR449,625.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the marketing mix at Mako Cake and Bakery Mega Mall Manado outlet. This research was carried out at Maco Cake And Bakery in Mega Mall Manado, and the research time is 2 (two) months, the data used in this research is primary and secondary data, the sampling method uses the Qualitative Descriptive Method. Based on the results of interviews conducted, this research shows that the location/distribution channel strategy in this marketing mix is very profitable for the Mako Cake and Bakery Outlet in Mega Mall Manado, the reason is because it is located near the entrance which is easy to find, and also the ease of transportation to reach the location which is in the city center. The marketing mix results for product, price, place and promotion have been carried out well. In terms of products, it is in accordance with the motto of Mako cake and bakery, namely High-quality, refined, and delicious bread and pastries or high- quality, smooth and delicious bread and pastries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profits of the Goroho Manalagi Banana Chips business in Dendengan Dalam Village, Paal Dua District, Manado City. This research was carried out from June 2023 to August 2023. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews and observations as well as documentation with business owners, while secondary data was obtained from literature studies in the form of literature, written sources or documents that have relevance to this research. The data analysis used is Total Revenue, Total Cost and Profit. The results of the study show that, the analysis of the profits of the Goroho Manalagi banana chips business for 5 days of production can be concluded that the cost of banana chip production is IDR 3.459.683,04 and the revenue is IDR 4,277,000.00 so that the profit obtained in one week is IDR 817.316,96.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan saluran pemasaran dan menghitung marjin pemasaran dan farmer’s share di Desa Kakenturan Kecamatan Modoinding, Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan menggunakan metode survei dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah snowball sampling pada lembaga pemasaran dengan jumlah sampel 10 petani, 3 pedagang pengumpul desa, 2 pedagang pengecer antar kota dan 2 pedagang antar pulau. Hasil penelitian saluran pemasaran kentang yang ada di Desa Kakenturan terdiri dari tiga saluran, yaitu saluran pemasaran I : petani ke pedagang pengumpul ke konsumen, saluran pemasaran II : petani ke pedagang pengumpul ke pedagang pengecer ke konsumen, dan saluran pemasaran III : petani ke pedagang pengumpul ke pedagang antar pulau ke konsumen. Margin pemasaran tertinggi yaitu pada saluran pemasaran III sebesar Rp5.000. Farmer’s share tertinggi yaitu pada saluran pemasaran I sebesar 90,90%.

Abstract

Tourism is a vital sector for the global economy, including Indonesia. North Sulawesi is famous for its various kinds of natural beauty starting from mountains, hills, forests, beaches, lakes, islands, cultural tourism, and many other beauties Waruga or ancient burial place of the megalithic era in Minahasa. Waruga is included in the category of special interest tourism (unique) so that it has its own charm that makes some local and foreign tourists come specifically to visit to find out about Waruga. This makes Waruga attractive for tourists who want to understand local culture. This study aims to determine the effect of attractiveness, facilities and accessibility on visiting interest in Waruga attractions in Sawangan Village, Airmadidi District, North Minahasa Regency. Data collection methods by interview using questionnaires to all respondents in the last 3 months. This study involved 70 respondents who were visitors. The data analysis method uses a quantitative descriptive method using the SEM-PLS application, which in this study uses Smart-PLS 4.0. The results showed that facilities have a significant effect on visiting interest in Waruga Sawangan Tourism Objects. while attractiveness and accessibility have an insignificant effect on visiting interest in Waruga Sawangan Tourism Objects.

Abstract

The availability of Public Green Open Space (RTHP) in an urban area provides beauty, comfort, as a means of education for the community to protect and maintain the ecological stability of the city, as well as a place for people to carry out social and recreational activities. The purpose of this study is to calculate the distribution area of Public Green Open Space and to analyze the potential for increasing Public Green Open Space in Tomohon Tengah District in Tomohon Tengah District. This research was conducted in Tomohon Tengah Sub-district, Tomohon City, with the implementation time of 4 months. The sampling method in this study was purposive sampling which was taken deliberately, in accordance with the required sample requirements. Data analysis methods using Geographic Information System (GIS) using map overlay analysis techniques and descriptive analysis. The results showed that 1) Existing RTHP availability in Central Tomohon District still does not meet the 20% standard, only has an area of 10.33 Ha or 0.68%. 2) Public space characteristics consist of land use, population density, slope and accessibility of distance to the road used to determine potential areas for the provision of green spaces as an effort to increase the availability of green spaces in Central Tomohon District. Most of the Central Tomohon area is “very suitable” and has the potential for the provision of green spaces.

Abstract

The use of lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) in the production of tea bags in the first ecotourism village in North Sulawesi Province is an innovative step to boost the local economy and support environmental sustainability. This study aims to explore the quality of lemongrass tea bags, community acceptance, economic impact, and environmental aspects of this initiative. The results show that lemongrass tea bags have an aroma and taste that is liked by 85% of respondents, as well as a high antioxidant content. The local community showed great enthusiasm, with 70% of farmers interested in producing tea bags as an additional source of income. Farmers' income increased by about 30% within six months after training, and this product also supports environmental sustainability by reducing pesticide use. Effective marketing strategies and promotion through social media and local festivals are proposed to increase product visibility. This initiative not only provides economic benefits but also strengthens social solidarity and community pride. Community towards   their local. Thus, the use of lemongrass in the manufacture of tea bags has the potential to become an icon of ecotourism villages that support economic growth and environmental sustainability in North Sulawesi.
