Abstract

The research aims to understand the role of teachers in implementing the hypnoteaching method in the Civics Education (PKn) subject for third and fifth grades at SDN 13 Kwandang. The type of research used is qualitative, and the data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the hypnoteaching method at SD Negeri 13 Kwandang plays a significant role in enhancing the learning process, especially in fifth grade. This method combines hypnosis techniques with teaching to create a conducive classroom atmosphere, making students more open and receptive. By using subtle hypnosis techniques, teachers can help students achieve a relaxed state, which enhances memory retention and positive learning experiences. Additionally, hypnoteaching fosters a more harmonious learning environment, allowing students to feel safe to actively participate in discussions. Through this approach, students not only learn academically but also develop emotional well-being and good character. The use of this method contributes to increased interest and motivation among students in the Civics Education (PKn) subject. When teaching is conducted interactively and relevant to everyday life, students tend to be more engaged and enthusiastic about understanding the material. Teachers play the role of facilitators who create a safe and engaging learning atmosphere, encouraging students to express their opinions confidently. With this comprehensive approach, hypnoteaching not only enhances the effectiveness of learning but also helps students become active and responsible citizens. This method demonstrates great potential in supporting a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop IPEX learning media that meets the criteria of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in science learning to improve student learning outcomes in ecosystem material in grade IV of SDN 6 Kabila. This study is a development research using the ADDIE development research model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The feasibility of IPEX media was tested through validation by a team of experts. The validation results showed that this media obtained an average percentage of 95.14%, which was categorized as very feasible for use by teachers and students in elementary schools. To test the practicality, the researcher used the teacher observation sheet, which showed a total score of 39 out of a maximum score of 40, with an average percentage of practicality reaching 97.5%, falling into the very practical category. In terms of effectiveness, the application of media in class IV of SDN 6 Kabila was measured through pretest and posttest. As a result, the average pretest score of 36.5% increased to 83% in the posttest, with a difference in increase of 46.5%. The level of effectiveness of IPEX media based on calculations reached 72.41%, indicating that IPEX media is included in the effective category. Based on these results, IPEX media has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and is suitable for use in learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Comic learning media for Lahilote Folklore that meets the criteria for eligibility and effectiveness in supporting Local Content learning, especially in regional folklore material for fourth grade students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model, which includes the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The feasibility test was carried out through validation by experts. The results of the media validation showed a score of 28, which is included in the "Very Good" category, with a percentage value of 100%. Meanwhile, the material validation obtained a score of 32, which is included in the "Very Good" category with a percentage value of 100%. The practicality of the media was tested using a practitioner validation sheet, which produced a perfect score, which was 44 out of a maximum total score of 44 so that the average percentage of practicality reached 100%, indicating that this media is feasible to use. The average value of all validations reached 100%, indicating that this media is feasible to use in the learning process by elementary school teachers and students. The effectiveness of the media was tested through the results of the student response test in grade IV of SDN No. 76 Kota Tengah. Which gets a percentage of 100% with the category (Very Good) from student responses. Thus, the E-Comic of Lahilote Folk Tales is declared worthy of being distributed.

Abstract

The problem presented in this study is “Can the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model improve the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN No. 37 Hulonthalangi, Gorontalo City?" This study aims to improve the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN No. 37 Hulonthalangi, Gorontalo City by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, employing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The method used in this study was classroom action research. The study findings were obtained after implementing two cycles of action. In the initial stage, 22 out of 27 students (78%) demonstrated limited speaking abilities. Improvements were observed following two sessions in Cycle 1 and one session in Cycle II. In the first meeting of Cycle 1, 7 students (26%) showed improvement in their speaking skills. In the second meeting of Cycle I, this increased to 14 students (52%). By Cycle II, 23 students (85%) exhibited proficient speaking skills. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model significantly improved the speaking skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 37 Hulonthalangi, Gorontalo City. ABSTRAKMasalah yang disajikan dalam penelitian ini adalah “apakah Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas V di SDN No. 37 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo?”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa melaluai Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas V di SDN No. 37 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I dan II dari 27 siswa terdapat 21 siswa (78%) masih kurang mampu dalam kemampuan berbicara. Peningkatan dibuktikan dengan hasil pelaksanaan tindakan kelas siklus I sebanyak dua kali pertemuan dan siklus II satu kali pertemuan. Pertemuan pertama pada siklus I capaian 27siswa kemampuan berbicara memperoleh (26%) atau 7 orang siswa yang meningkat. Siklus I pertemuan II kemampuan berbicara siswa memperoleh (52%) atau 14 orang siswa meningkat. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa meningkat menjadi (85%) atau 23 siswa sudah mampu dalam kemampuan berbicara. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas V SDN 37 Hulonthalangi Kota Gorontalo meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of third-grade students at SDN No. 59 Kota Timur, Gorontalo City, in writing cursive letters by using word card media. The research employed a classroom action research method. The results showed that in the first cycle, first meeting, only 2 out of 15 students (13%) were able to write cursive letters, while 13 students (87%) were unable. In the first cycle, second meeting, there was an improvement with 6 students (40%) achieving the skill, and 9 students (60%) still unable. Since the target of at least 75% mastery was not achieved, the study continued to the second cycle. In the second cycle, first meeting, 10 students (67%) were able to write cursive letters, while 5 students (33%) were not. In the second cycle, second meeting, a significant improvement was observed with 13 students (87%) able to write cursive letters and only 2 students (13%) unable. The findings indicate that the use of word card media effectively enhances the ability of third-grade students at SDN No. 59 Kota Timur Gorontalo City. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis huruf tegak bersambung pada siswa kelas III SDN No. 59 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo dengan menggunakan media kartu kata. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I pertemuan pertama, hanya 2 dari 15 siswa (13%) yang mampu menulis huruf tegak bersambung, sementara 13 siswa (87%) belum mampu. Pada siklus I pertemuan kedua, terdapat peningkatan dimana 6 siswa (40%) mampu menulis dengan baik dan 9 siswa (60%) masih belum mencapai kemampuan tersebut. Karena hasil ini belum memenuhi target minimal 75%, penelitian dilanjutkan ke siklus II. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama, 10 siswa (67%) sudah mampu menulis huruf tegak bersambung dan 5 siswa (33%) belum. Pada siklus II pertemuan kedua, peningkatan signifikan terjadi dengan 13 siswa (87%) yang berhasil menulis huruf tegak bersambung dan hanya 2 siswa (13%) yang belum mampu. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu kata efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis huruf tegak bersambung siswa kelas III SDN No. 59 Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the level of practicality of the OPthree model teaching module assisted by google site based on Pancasila student profiles to practice students' scientific literacy skills in physics subjects. This research was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah Batudaa, using class XI-A research samples and simple random sampling. This type of research is included in the Research and Development (R&D) type of research by adopting the ADDIE development model. Test the level of practicality is carried out at the implementation stage. The results of the research show that the average percentage of implementation of learning carried out during three meetings using the OPthree model teaching module assisted by google site reached 100% with very good criteria. Then, (91%) students responded positively to learning that used the OPthree model teaching module with the assist of google site. So, it can be concluded that learning that uses the OPthree model teaching module assisted by google site is based on Pancasila student profiles to practice students' practical scientific literacy skills to be applied in the physics learning process.

Abstract

Speaking ability is a fundamental competency in language learning, but problems in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 8 Suwawa, Bone Bolango Regency indicate a low level of this skill, characterized by students' stuttering speech, lack of self-confidence, and minimal use of concrete media that stimulate interaction. This study focuses on efforts to improve students' speaking ability through the implementation of an interesting and interactive Rotating Wheel learning media. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, this study involved 18 students as research subjects with procedures that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection in two cycles. Data collection was carried out through performance tests, activity observations, and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant trend of gradual improvement; in cycle I, learning mastery moved from 22% (4 students) in the first meeting to 50% (9 students) in the second meeting. The positive trend continued consistently in cycle II, where mastery increased from 72% (13 students) to finally reaching 89% (16 students) in the final meeting, exceeding the established success indicators. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Spinning Wheel media has proven effective in improving students' fluency, courage, and overall speaking skills in the Indonesian language learning process. ABSTRAK Kemampuan berbicara merupakan kompetensi fundamental dalam pembelajaran bahasa, namun permasalahan di kelas IV SD Negeri 8 Suwawa Kabupaten Bone Bolango menunjukkan rendahnya keterampilan ini, ditandai dengan tuturan siswa yang terbata-bata, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, serta minimnya penggunaan media konkret yang menstimulasi interaksi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa melalui implementasi media pembelajaran Roda Berputar yang menarik dan interaktif. Menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), studi ini melibatkan 18 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian dengan prosedur yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi dalam dua siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes kinerja, observasi aktivitas, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tren peningkatan yang signifikan secara bertahap; pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar bergerak dari 22% (4 siswa) pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 50% (9 siswa) pada pertemuan kedua. Tren positif berlanjut secara konsisten pada siklus II, di mana ketuntasan meningkat dari 72% (13 siswa) hingga akhirnya mencapai 89% (16 siswa) pada pertemuan terakhir, melampaui indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media Roda Berputar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kelancaran, keberanian, dan keterampilan berbicara siswa secara keseluruhan dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Writing is a crucial language skill, but the reality in the second grade of SDN 1 Talaga Jaya shows that the majority of students experience difficulties in constructing simple sentences due to limited vocabulary and understanding of sentence structure. Based on initial observations, only 31% of students met the completion criteria, while the rest still struggled. This study aims to improve this competency through the implementation of word cards media that are considered visual and interactive for students. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, this study involved 19 students as research subjects and was carried out in two cycles. Data collection was carried out comprehensively through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research findings showed a significant and consistent trend of increasing learning outcomes; learning completion in cycle I moved from 43% in the first meeting to 57% in the second meeting. Optimal improvement occurred in cycle II, where the percentage of success jumped from 79% to 90% in the final meeting. This achievement has significantly exceeded the success indicator set at 75%. Thus, it is concluded that the use of word cards media has proven effective in stimulating student activity and significantly improving the ability to write simple sentences. ABSTRAK Kemampuan menulis merupakan keterampilan berbahasa yang krusial, namun realitas di kelas II SDN 1 Talaga Jaya menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa mengalami kendala dalam menyusun kalimat sederhana akibat keterbatasan kosakata dan pemahaman struktur kalimat. Berdasarkan observasi awal, hanya 31% siswa yang memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan, sementara sisanya masih kesulitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tersebut melalui implementasi media kartu kata yang dinilai visual dan interaktif bagi siswa. Menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), studi ini melibatkan 19 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara komprehensif melalui tes, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan tren peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dan konsisten; ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I bergerak dari 43% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 57% pada pertemuan kedua. Peningkatan optimal terjadi pada siklus II, di mana persentase keberhasilan melonjak dari 79% hingga mencapai 90% pada pertemuan akhir. Capaian ini secara nyata telah melampaui indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan sebesar 75%. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu kata terbukti efektif dalam menstimulasi keaktifan siswa serta meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kalimat sederhana secara signifikan.

Abstract

The problem statement in this study is: “Can the Mystery Box learning media improve the narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo Regency?” The objective of the this study is to enhance narrative writing skills among fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo. Regency, using Mystery Box learning media. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, tests, and documentation. This is a Classroom Action Research Project, involving fifth-grade students from SDN 2 Limboto Barat as subjects. The results of study show that in the initial observation, out of 13 students, only 2 students, or 15% were able to write narrative essays. After the implementation of the action, in Cycle I meeting 1, the number increased to 3 students, or 23% who were able to write narrative essays. In cycle I meeting 2, the number increased to 5 students, representing 38%. In cycle II meeting 1, the number increased to 9 students, representing 69% of the students who were able to write narrative essays, and in cycle II meeting 2, it increased to 11 students, representing 85% of the students who were able to write narrative essays. Based on the study’s results, it can be concluded that the use of Mystery Box learning media can improve the narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Limboto Barat, Gorontalo Regency. ABSTRAK Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah media Mystery Box Dapat Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Karangan Narasi Pada Siswa Kelas V di SDN 2 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo?”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi menggunakan media Mystery Box pada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Limboto Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada observasi awal yang dilakukan dari jumlah 13 siswa yang mampu menulis karangan narasi hanya 2 siswa atau dengan persentase 15%. Setelah dilakukan tindakan, pada siklus I pertemuan 1 meningkat menjadi 3 siswa atau dengan persentase 23% siswa yang mampu menulis karangan narasi. Pada siklus I pertemuan 2 meningkat menjadi 5 siswa atau dengann persentase 38% siswa yang mampu menulis karangan narasi. Pada siklus II pertemua 1 jumlah siswa yang meningkat menjadi 9 siswa atau dengan persentase 69%, dan pada siklus II pertemuan 2 meningkat menjadi 11 siswa atau dengan persentase 85% siswa yang mampu menulis karangan narasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Mystery Box dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Limboto Barat Kabupaten Gorontalo.

Abstract

Reading aloud is an essential skill in learning Indonesian, but the reality in grade III of SDN 1 Telaga Jaya shows low student competency in pronunciation, intonation, pauses, and fluency due to monotonous learning methods. This study aims to address this problem by improving reading aloud skills through the application of the Shared Reading method. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design implemented in two cycles, this study involved 20 students as research subjects with stages including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research findings show a significant and consistent trend of increasing learning outcomes. In the initial observation, the student completion rate only reached 25% (5 students). After the action was carried out in cycle I, the percentage of success increased from 30% in the first meeting to 45% in the second meeting. Optimal improvement was achieved in cycle II, where completion jumped from 70% to finally reaching 90% (18 students) in the final meeting. This achievement has clearly exceeded the established success indicators, proving that the Shared Reading method is effective in improving the technical quality of reading, fostering self-confidence, and increasing students' interest in reading in the learning process. ABSTRAK Kemampuan membaca nyaring merupakan keterampilan esensial dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, namun realitas di kelas III SDN 1 Telaga Jaya menunjukkan rendahnya kompetensi siswa dalam aspek pelafalan, intonasi, jeda, serta kelancaran akibat metode pembelajaran yang cenderung monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca nyaring melalui penerapan metode Shared Reading. Menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, studi ini melibatkan 20 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian dengan tahapan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan tren peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dan konsisten. Pada observasi awal, tingkat ketuntasan siswa hanya mencapai 25% (5 siswa). Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I, persentase keberhasilan meningkat dari 30% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 45% pada pertemuan kedua. Peningkatan optimal tercapai pada siklus II, di mana ketuntasan melonjak dari 70% hingga akhirnya mencapai 90% (18 siswa) pada pertemuan terakhir. Capaian ini secara nyata telah melampaui indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan, membuktikan bahwa metode Shared Reading efektif dalam memperbaiki kualitas teknis membaca, menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri, serta meningkatkan minat baca siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.
