Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ialah meningkatkan kompetensi guru SD, SMP, dan SMA melalui pelatihan pengembangan soal Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Kegiatan dilakukan di perguruan Muhammadiyah Porong dengan peserta guru SD, SMP, dan SMA sejumlah 55 orang yang terdiri atas semua mata pelajaran. Metode kegiatan meliputi 3, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan, menyiapkan materi pelatihan berupa teori dan contoh soal AKM. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kegiatan pelatihan secara tatap muka yang meliputi uji awal (pretest) yang dilanjutkan penyampaian materi, diskusi tanya jawab, dan diakhiri dengan uji akhir (posttest). Pada tahap evaluasi, dilakukan analisis peningkatan dari nilai pretest dan posttest.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan ada peningkatan kompetensi guru sebesar 0,3 dengan kategori rendah. Hasil tersebut sekaligus memberikan gambaran bahwa tidak hanya secara teoritis saja memaknaihakikat AKM, namun juga secara praktis dapat mengembangkan serta mengimplementasikan soal AKM.Kata Kunci: pelatihan, kompetensi guru, Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM).

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of knowing the profile of students’ affective ability during learning so that the teaching and learning process can be successful. This study aims to describe the profile of the affective abilities of elementary school students in natural science learning in terms of their learning styles. This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type, with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The subjects in this study were six students, namely two students with a visual learning style, two with an auditory learning style, and two with a kinesthetic learning style. The result showed that 1) The profile of affective ability of students with visual learning style is two indicators of affective ability, namely indicators of receiving and appreciating, 2) The profile of students’ affective ability with auditory learning styles is three indicators of abilities, namely indicators of receiving, responding and organizing, 3) The profile of affective ability of students with kinesthetic learning style is that no affective ability indicators are met. The conclusion of this research is to know the profile of the affective ability of elementary school students in science learning in terms of different learning styles.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media video animasi terhadap kemampuan literasi sians siswa SD. Dimana penerapan literasi sains yang ada di Indonesia ini terbilang cukup rendah, pemilihan model pembelajaran juga mempengaruhi hal tersebut. Melihat kondisi tersebut perlu adanya pembaharuan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi menggunakan media video animasi untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa dengan harapan generasi yang akan datang dapat menghadapi pendidikan abad-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantittatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre-Exsperimenal Designone-Group( Pretest-Posttest Design). Populasi yang digunakan adalah kelas V SDN Jimbaran Kulon sebanyak 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pemberian tes awal (pre-test) sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan tes akhir (post-test) setelah diberikan perlakuan pada setiap kelompok yang sama. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitihan ini adalah hasil telah yang diperoleh dari nilai pre-test dan post-test siswa menggunakan N-Gain. Sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan media video animasi terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa SD.

Abstract

Low concept understanding on students can cause students to experience difficulties in learning certain materials. To overcome this, it is necessary to identify understanding of the concept in students using the right method. This research aims to analyze the level of students' concept understanding using the five tier test method on substance pressure material. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey type of research. The subjects in this research were students in 8th and 9th grade totalling 716 students. The sample used was students who had received substance pressure material consisting of 258 students. The instrument used a five tier test. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the percentage of understanding of the concept of the students for each indicator and sub concept of substance pressure is 16%, so it can be concluded that the level of understanding of the concept of substance pressure in students using the five-tier test method is included in the low criteria. Future research is expected to develop this research again, so that later it can be used as a reference for teachers in determining the right learning strategy to improve students' understanding of the concept of substance pressure.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative correlation study using an ex-post facto design to determine the correlation between student curiosity and science literacy skills with science learning achievement at Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo Elementary School. There is no revelation about the correlation between students' curiosity, science literacy skills, and learning achievement at the elementary school level, so researchers are interested in conducting this research at Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo Elementary School, which has implemented the Minimum Competency Assessment system for its students. The population and sample in this study were 86 students in 6th grade at Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo Elementary School. Research data obtained using questionnaires and documents. Data analysis techniques used is multiple correlation analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained the conclusion there is a correlation between curiosity and science literacy skills of students with student’s science learning achievement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA, 2) mendeksripsikan hubungan persepsi siswa tentang gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA, dan 3) mendeskripsikan hubungan persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar dan  gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif non eksperimen korelasional dengan teknik analisis regresi ganda. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa mata pelajaran IPA, 2) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya mengajar guru dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa mata pelajaran IPA, dan 3) tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi siswa tentang lingkungan belajar dan gaya mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Simpulan dari penelitian bahwa banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar seorang siswa untuk mencapai hasil belajar yang maksimal tidak hanya lingkungan belajar dan gaya mengajar guru saja.   Kata kunci: Lingkungan; Belajar; Gaya; Mengajar; Kognitif.   ABSTRACT   This research aims to: 1) describe the relationship of student perceptions of the learning environment to cognitive learning outcomes, 2) describe the relationship of student perceptions of teacher teaching styles to science cognitive learning outcomes, and 3) describe the relationship between student perceptions of the learning environment and teacher teaching styles to cognitive learning outcomes. The type of research is quantitative non-experimental correlational with multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed: 1) there was no significant relationship between students' perceptions of the learning environment and cognitive learning outcomes of science students, 2) there was a significant relationship between teachers' teaching styles and cognitive learning outcomes of science students, and 3) there was no significant relationship between students' perceptions of the learning environment and teachers' teaching styles on the cognitive learning outcomes of science students. The conclusion that many factors influence the success of be student.   Keywords: Environment; Learning; Style; Teaching; Cognitive.

Abstract

Local wisdom becomes something that is important enough to be introduced and applied by students. The development of technology until anytime will continue to occur because basically humans need technology to ease the burden of life. This has been embodied in one of the learning based ethno-STEM strategies. This learning strategy has been able to introduce and train students with local wisdom. Methods of mentoring activities include planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, equalization of perceptions of the use of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments for Class VII, VIII, and IX Even Semesters has been developed and has been registered with Intellectual Property Rights. At the implementation stage, it needs to be reviewed by disseminating the implementation of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments to more schools. With this dissemination activity, it is expected that there will be input for the improvement of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments so that it will be better. At the evaluation stage, the dissemination results there are 8 schools have been accompanied in implementing of learning based ethno-STEM devices noted the obstacles faced. The obstacles faced in the implementation of learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments include the difficulty level of natural science material each chapter is different, teacher-centered classroom management, the existence of facilities and infrastructure that do not support the learning process, and student activities that are not relevant to learning. These constraints are further sought solutions and used as a basis for revising learning based ethno-STEM devices and instruments for natural science subjects so that they are obtained devices and instruments that are much better than before.

Abstract

This study aims to describe theoretically and empirically the integration of Islamic values ​​in climate change material in the perspective of learning technology. The research method uses descriptive qualitative, namely the study of literature. Data collection techniques using documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and verification and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that technology in learning is a demand for the 21st Century and the achievement of an independent curriculum, one form of technology in learning is the use of electronic modules based android. The integration of Islamic values ​​into climate change material is to interpret an uncertain climate, Islam views that nature and its contents are creations of Allah swt that must be maintained and cared for human survival, but the attitude of humans who do not care about the balance of nature causes an imbalance of ecosystems, global warming, and climate change. The results of relevant research state that the meaning learning model is proven to be able to foster students' moral sensitivity to the surrounding environment, with the role of technology to facilitate the interpretation of abstract climate change material into Islamic values, for example with electronic-based learning media. Future research is expected to be able to develop e-modules that try to integrate Islamic values ​​into science material in Secondary Schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan pembelajaran IPA dilaksanakan di kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 2 Tanggulangin Sidoarjo pada masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom. Indikator pembelajaran IPA terdiri atas tiga unsur berikut: 1) perencanaan pembelajaran; 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran; dan 3) evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ialah guru kelas VIIA. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom yang meliputi, 1) perencanaan pembelajaran dikatakan belum optimal, 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran dikatakan cukup optimal, dan 3) evaluasi pembelajaran dikatakan belum optimal. Hal ini diduga karena pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom dilakukan dari rumah dan beberapa peserta didik tidak memiliki HP/laptop. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat digali lebih dalam lagi tentang penyebab belum optimalnya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi dalam konteks pembelajaran jarak jauh.

Abstract

Abstract Natural disasters often occur on this earth, especially in Indonesia. There are several types of disasters that occur, namely: geological disasters, hydrometeorological disasters and others. This natural disaster caused quite a lot of casualties and not a few material. Good post-natural disaster management is necessary to minimize the number of victims of a disaster. One form of handling this natural disaster is by providing electrical energy that can be used to provide lighting and communication systems. The provision of electrical energy consists of several integrated systems to form a compact, simple and efficient unit. This tool consists of a Solar Power Generation system, GenSet system, inverter system, Change Over Switch system and Global Positioning System system. This tool is named SUNPO which stands for Sun Power or Solar Power. With this SUNPO, it can function as a power supply to power direct current loads and alternating current loads. If the solar power is not enough to charge the battery then the system can be operated with a GenSet. Meanwhile, to find out the position of SUNPO, a Global Positioning System is also installed. Highlights: Effective Disaster Response: Efficient post-disaster management is crucial to minimize casualties and damage caused by natural disasters, especially in Indonesia. SUNPO Tool Integration: The SUNPO (Sun Power) tool integrates solar power generation, GenSet backup, inverter, changeover switch, and GPS systems to provide a reliable and compact solution for electricity supply in disaster-stricken areas. Dual Power Source: SUNPO offers dual power sources - solar energy and GenSet - ensuring continuous electricity supply for both direct and alternating current loads, enhancing communication and lighting systems for affected communities.
