Abstract

This study aims to determine the agent's self-development strategy in achieving the target. At PT. Sunlife Financial Medan city branch. This research data uses qualitative or descriptive methods through interviews, observations and data provided by related companies. In achieving the targets set by the company, agents are given special training by the company in developing themselves to become good and correct agents in marketing their products, deepen themselves to know about insurance products, and learn about techniques to attract customers' interest, as well as learn how to maintain customers to continue to be customers of PT. Sunlife Financial Medan city branch.

Abstract

Educational insurance is a combined product of life insurance plus money market instruments. Insurance will guarantee the cost of a child's education if later parents can no longer earn a living due to death, or total disability.  education at PT Prudential Pruaini Medan City Branch.  The tennis of this research is descriptive quantitative where the researcher conducts self-observation or WACNA with the structure using a notebook. The results of the study indicate that there are factors that influence the request for education insurance at PT Prudential Pruaini Medan City Branch.  The Prudential Pruaini Medan City Branch is the income factor of the Lysia factor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui kinerja underwriter dalam menentukan calon peserta dan penyebab menurunnya jumlah perserta Asuransi Jiwa Kredit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan sumber data primer dengan melakukan observasi langsung pada PT Asuransi AJB Bumiputera, Data skunder merupakan data pendukung yang di proleh dari referensi dalam bentuk buku-buku, jurnal, riview studi terdahulu, dan bahan-bahan tertulis lainnya yang relevan dengan topik permasalahan. Teknik analisis data dengan wawancara mendalam yang bersifat formal dan terbuka. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa  menurunnya jumlah peserta disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti: Seleksi Underwriter yang dilakukan Semakin Ketat, Faktor Internal dan External dan bukan atas kesalahan seorang Underwriter. Seorang Underwriter memegang peran penting dalam perusahaan karena yang memutuskan calon peserta layak diterima atau tidak berdasarkan dari hasil pengamatan Underwriter. Adanya Underwriter agar pembagian premi dan pengelompokkan resiko dilakukan secara adil tanpa timbang tindih. Apabila Underwriter melakukan kesalahan sewaktu menjalankan tugasnya, hal ini akan menjadi tanggung jawab perusahaan asuransi. Bila ada klaim yang menyangkut kekeliruan dalam proses Underwriting, maka perusahaan yang akan bertanggung jawab, dengan tidak menolak klaim yang diajukan. Perusahaan akan memberikan sanksi seperti menegur Underwriter maupun agen yang berkaitan dengan kekeliruan tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of product quality, service quality and price on consumer satisfaction at Aroma Bakery & Cake Shop Gunung Tua. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The number of respondents in the research was 138 people who were consumers of Aroma Bakery & Cake Shop Gunung Tua. The data analysis technique for this research uses SPSS Version 21 which includes validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, namely normality tests and heteroscedasticity tests, hypothesis tests with partial tests (t tests), simultaneous tests (f tests) and coefficient of determination tests (R2) and multiple linear regression analysis test. The results of this research show that product quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, price has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Product quality, service quality and price simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction at Aroma Bakery & Cake Shop Gunung Tua. Product quality, service quality and price are the most important things in influencing consumer satisfaction. So the higher the level of each variable in influencing consumer satisfaction, the higher the consumer satisfaction will be. And if the consumer is satisfied with the product offered, the consumer will not hesitate to make a repeat purchase.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the return of Tabarru Funds for policy holders who quit before the agreement period ends at PT Sun Life Syari'ah Medan Branch from a sharia insurance perspective. This research is a type of quantitative research, namely by conducting field research. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was obtained from interviews, documentation and observation. To analyze the data, researchers used descriptive analysis methods. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Research subject to related and authorized parties at PT Sun Life Syariah Medan Branch. The research object is the return of Tabarru Funds for policy holders who quit before the agreement period ends. The research results show that the implementation of the Tabarru contract at PT Sun Life is in accordance with the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council regarding Tabarru contracts for sharia insurance and Sharia Reinsurance. Based on the results of the interview, PT Sun Life stated that the Tabarru Fund return procedure which stops before the agreement period ends must still meet the requirements, where the return is in accordance with the type of product the customer purchased and the return is not in full, but in part after deducting administration fees and policy issuance. , and other costs that have been incurred.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pendidikan, keterampilan, pendapatan, dan tanggungan mempengaruhi pedagang perempuan. Survei ini melibatkan 43 pedagang wanita dari Pasar Matanggor, Kec. Batang Onang Kab. Padang Lawas Utara. Hasil penelitiannya dikumpulkan dengan penggunaan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Penelitian ini menerapkan proposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan validitas dan reliabilitas untuk menguji kualitas data. Peneliti menggunakan uji R2, F, dan T yang disesuaikan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan, keterampilan, pendapatan, dan jumlah tanggungan berpengaruh positif terhadap perempuan pedagang di pasar tradisional. Selain itu, hasil pengujian F sebesar 0,000 0,05 dan fhitung 24,113 > fttabel 2,62 maka H5 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Pengujian koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan, keterampilan, pendapatan, dan jumlah tanggungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pedagang pasar tradisional sebesar 71,7%.

Abstract

The Khaduri Laot tradition is a traditional ceremony that must be carried out by the coastal communities of Aceh Tamiang, especially at the end of the west season or before the east season. This tradition has been carried out routinely by every village under the Panglima Laot area. For the local fishing community, Khaduri Laot reflects the relationship between humans, their creator, and the surrounding environment. This ceremony is believed to have a major influence on the safety of fishermen and the blessings of marine products. Khaduri Laot is considered a cultural tradition that must be maintained and preserved. Local people's beliefs state that not carrying out this ceremony can bring disaster or danger. On the contrary, the Khaduri Laot celebration is believed to bring blessings and abundant sustenance to fishermen and coastal communities. In addition, this ritual is also believed to provide protection and security for fishermen who sail at sea. This tradition not only has a spiritual dimension, but also a cultural one in maintaining harmony between humans and nature.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix (4P) on North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) students' buying interest in Skintific products, with brand image as a moderating variable. This research is a type of comparative causal research with a quantitative approach because it involves numerical data and uses statistical data. The population in this study are active female students studying at the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU) with a population of 17,608 female students in 2023. Using the Slovin formula n= N/ (1+ (N x e2 )) to calculate the sample size so that a sample of 103 respondents was obtained. Sampling was carried out using the probability sampling method because it can obtain a representative sample that accurately reflects the target population. Primary data in this research was obtained from a questionnaire with 27 questions to measure marketing mix variables, purchase interest and brand image using a five-point Likert scale which was distributed online via Google Form. Data analysis used in this research is IBM SPSS which includes normality test, multicollinearity test, path analysis (path analysis), and hypothesis testing. The research results show that the marketing mix (4P) has a significant effect on consumer buying interest, and brand image moderates this relationship. These findings highlight the importance of effective marketing strategies and a strong brand image to increase consumer interest and loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of promotion and product quality on consumers' purchasing decisions regarding Jofie Bakery Cake Shop products in Medan. Quantitative research methods were employed for this study. Data analysis involved descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research encompassed respondent profiling, data variable descriptions, validity testing, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, and hypothesis testing comprising multiple linear regression, R2 coefficient of determination, simultaneous F-test, and partial T-test. The findings revealed that while promotion does not significantly influence the purchasing decisions of Jofie Bakery Cake Shop products in Medan, product quality plays a significant role in shaping these decisions. This research suggests that Jofie Bakery Cake Shop should focus on enhancing its promotion strategies, expanding its reach, and considering collaborations with other entities to broaden its product visibility and consumer base.

Abstract

The role of financial institutions in developing the community's economy, particularly within the Sharia economy, is continually evolving to address the opportunities and challenges presented by the digital financial era. Financial institutions must strengthen their operations and services to enhance their contributions to the Sharia economy. In this context, students are encouraged to actively save at Islamic banks, as doing so represents an effective approach to financial management. This research employs a quantitative method, utilizing questionnaires distributed to students from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at UINSU for data collection. The results indicate that the trend towards a halal lifestyle, along with advancements in digital technology, significantly influences the decisions of Generation Z students to utilize Islamic banking services. Public interest statements The findings of this study suggest that the growing interest of Generation Z in Islamic banking, driven by their commitment to a halal lifestyle and the influence of digital technology, presents a significant opportunity for the growth of the Islamic economy in Indonesia.
