Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the philosophy of Sunan Kalijaga's mo limo reflected in the accountability of local government. This study uses a phenomenological approach with informants from the regional secretary and the caretaker of Sunan Kalijaga's tomb. The results of this study are that the main teachings of Sunan Kalijaga that are held firmly are Mo limo. Mo limo consists of Manembah, Mangabdi, Maguru, Makaryo and Martapa. The local government really embodies and actualizes the philosophy of Sunan Kalijaga in the implementation of governance. The implication is that the cultural value of local wisdom of a region needs to be considered to improve public accountability and transparency. The local government must continue to maintain local culture to improve the performance of the local government.

Abstract

Tolerance is essential in harmonizing people's lives, especially in a multi-religious society. As a legal institution, madrasah is essential in instilling a tolerant attitude that students can apply later in their lives. This study explains the essential role of madrasah as a habitus field for inculcating a tolerant attitude to students using the Bourdieu habitus concept. It employed descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews at MTsN 4 Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The results show that the madrasah can instill a tolerant attitude in students with the support of teachers as actors. It is a field and social capital (trust, values, and networks) that are integrated in the process of social reproduction of tolerant attitudes to students. The result also provides evidence that the madrasah is not merely an Islamic educational institution that teaches religion from a textual aspect but also a place where universal religious behavior is shaped in society, including an attitude of tolerance. Society will have tremendous confidence in the madrasah when it can contribute significantly to solving various social problems.

Abstract

Stunting atau pendek merupakan suatu kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak akibat kekuranan gizi kronis terutama dalam 1000 hari pertama kehidupan (HPK) sehingga anak terlalu pendek untuk usianya. Prevalensi stunting di indonesia sebanyak 21,6%. Target penurunan stunting di Indonesia ditetapkan sebesar 14% pada tahun 2024. Salah satu upaya penanggulangan stunting pada balita adalah dengan edukasi kepada masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran akan pencegahan stunting, serta edukasi dalam pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT) dengan memanfaatkan bahan makanan berasal dari lokal, metode yang digunakan adalah ceamah dan tanya jawab antara peserta dan narasumber. Keberhasilan kegiatan sosialisasi terlihat dari antusiasme dari peserta yang turut hadir dalam kegiatan sosialisasi. Masyarakat di Desa Bojong aktif berpartisipasi dalan kegiatan yang dilakukan yang mana peserta melakukan feedback (diskusi tanya jawab) terkait dengan materi yang telah disampaikan oleh narasumber. Kata kunci: Sosialisasi, Stunting, PMT

Abstract

Early childhood education has been developing in Indonesia. It needs professional teacher to accomplish the stated goals. To make professional teacher of early childhood education absolutely needs management. In this paper, writer would present the early childhood education teacher management especially in private early childhood education due to it has many problems. Management of teacher in early childhood education is started from identification of teacher qualification and quantity, developing and enrichment the teacher quality by make clear status of teacher, also increasing the teacher revenue/fee. Moreover the leader of early childhood education should manage retiring of the teacher. Abstract

Among the principal’s role is to manage the educational institution in getting the number of new students in accordance with the standards that have been done, so it can run educational prosess normally. This study was conducted to find out the role of Principle MI Maarif Brajan Banjar Arum Kalibawang Kulon Progo in getting new students. This study becomes very important due to the Principle MI Maarif is a woman who has a limited step compared with men, but since her leadership the number of new students was increasing. The results showed that the priciple MI Maarif may act as a manager, leader and supervisor and therefore contributes to the satisfaction of internal and external environment prospective student input. Some supporting factors such as the qualification and competence of the Principle MI Maarif Brajan are qualified and religius societie’s sect is same as MI Maarif Brajan Banjararum Kalibawang Kulon Progo.  Keyword: woman principle’s role, management new students

Abstract

Abstract The great consciousness to the character internalization of students through education begins from the government’s concern to the students who have been doing the decency value for example dishonest, no discipline, no respect for teachers, truancy, late which is often done by school students. This research was conducted to reveal the character of students trough the integration character value on PAI learning that held in MTs Maarif Jangkaran, MTs Maarif Wates, MTs Muhammadiyah Wates and MTs Muhammadiyah Sentolo. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, with data collection done by observation complemented by interviews and documentation. The results showed that all private MTs at Kulon Progo district integrate the character (religious, honest, independent, communicative, responsible and democratic) in the PAI study done by a particular emphasis on offensive material value problem. In general, the integration of /characters in PAI learning to be effective, because it is supported by the enough facilities at the four private MTs, although there are obstacles integrating character values such as the perception of teachers PAI equalize the character with morals. Abstract

The philosophy of Islamic education has less effect on the development of Islamic education journey. The concept of thinking of educational course not only from logical thinking but also from the revelation. It be the pattern of the development process as a key of instruction. There are many Islamic educational philosophy course but writer only discuss the conservative, religious-instrumental rational and pragmatic philosophy in this paper. While the figures to be discussed is Al-Ghazali represents the first course, the Ikhwan al-Safa represent the second course while Ibn Khaldun represent the third course. The effect of the course of philosophical education on management education is implementing educational philosophy in many management functions, namely the planning, implementation (classroom management)and evaluation.

Abstract

The change of value is a reality that is has been occurred in society. Changes in one aspect of values will have implications for other aspects including activities that exist in madrasa, because madrasa is part of the sub-system of the community. Changes of respect value also occurs in the community around MI Maarif Kokap was located, precisely in the Menoreh hills of Yogyakarta, whereas this value is an important value that will affect the existence of the community itself.This article discusses the internalization of respect in MI Maarif Kokap Kulon Progo DIY. The results of the study show that respect internalization is carried out through classroom learning and activities that are routine and informal outside the classroom. These activities can effectively safeguard respect towards students, so students have a habit of implementing them. The success of respect internalization in MI Maarif can increase public trust in the existence of the madrasah.Keyword; internalization, change, value

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas terkait pentingnya pembelajaran yang terintegrasi antara dunia belajar anak dengan realitas kehidupan yang melingkupinya. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan pentingnya penekanan pada model pembelajaran yang mengarah pada peningkatan daya kognitif, afektif mapun psikomotorik secara komprehensif. Salah satu cara untuk mencapai hal tersebut adalah melalui pembelajran sistem perilaku yakni belajar dari simulasi. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah library research (studi kepustakaan) dengan cara mengumpulkan buku, jurnal, maupun lainnya seputar isu utama dalam penelitian. Analisis data secara  induktif, tema dibangun dari bawah ke atas (induktif) kemudian mengolah data ke dalam unit-unit informasi yang lebih abstrak, hal ini perlu dilakukan berulang-ulang agar peneliti dapat membangun tema secara utuh. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran simulasi bisa dijadikan salah satu cara dalam sistem pembelajaran yang komprehensif, di mana guru dituntut untuk berpikir kritis terkait pembelajaran. Ada empat hal pokok: menjelaskan, penengah, pembina, berdiskusi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the implementation of online PKS training is successful. His study used an evaluation with Kirkpatrick's model approach to measure aspects of reaction, learning, behavior and results. As a result, 91.65 percent of training participants showed a high positive reaction to the implementation of the training, and all participants showed behavioral changes in attitudes and actions when carrying out the task of managing the learning and education process in schools. In addition, using non-parametric Mann-Whitney analysis, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in the knowledge of PKS training participants on the aspects of managerial abilities, entrepreneurial development and supervisory skills. The results of the study explained that all training participants passed the training with very satisfying results. Thus, the online mode PKS training has been implemented and resulted in strengthening the capacity of school principals in various required competencies. It is recommended, for the next implementation, it should focus on using pedagogical flexibility to produce a profile of school principals who have a professional vitality construction.Keywords: Capacity Building, Kirkpatrick Model and PKS Training.
