Abstract

WHO and UNICEF estimate that the world's stunting rate is 22.3% of children under five years old globally in 2022, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia in 2023 is 21.5% and 27.2% in Central Sulawesi. Sigi Regency has a stunting prevalence of 26.4%, Kamaipura Health Center ranks the first highest stunting in October 2023, namely 66% experiencing stunting. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nutrition-aware family behavior, complementary feeding and food security and analyze the influence of independent variables on the incidence of stunting. This study used a case control design. The population in this study were toddlers aged 24-59 months, the number of samples was 38 case groups and 38 control groups. Based on the results of bivariate analysis using the chi-square test, namely nutrition-aware family behavior, complementary feeding, and food security <0.05, which shows there is a relationship with the incidence of stunting. The results of multivariate analysis using the logistic regression test are that there are no variables that contribute most to the incidence of stunting. However, based on the results of the OR calculation <1, which means that the three variables are protective factors for the incidence of stunting. There is a significant relationship between nutrition-conscious family behavior, complementary feeding and food security with the incidence of stunting, there is no variable that contributes most to the incidence of stunting because all variables are protective factors.For health workers at Kamipura Health Center to be more active in providing education related to nutrition-conscious family behavior, complementary feeding and food security to mothers of toddlers and further researchers to further examine these three variables and other variables.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition that causes physical and mental health problems in children. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting reached 22.3%, with a target of reducing it to 14% by 2024. Factors that cause stunting include obesity, malnutrition, and poor nutrition. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between the history of Low Birth Weight (LBW) and immunization provisions with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 2-3 years in the Pantoloan Health Center working area. This study used a case control design with a backward looking approach. The population in the study were toddlers aged 24-36 months with a sample of 37 case groups and 37 control groups. Of the 74 respondents, it was found that 37 respondents in the case and control groups, 35 respondents each with a history of LBW and 2 respondents who did not have a history of LBW.Of the 37 respondents who experienced stunting, 22 of them were given complete basic immunization and 15 respondents did not get complete immunization. There is no significant relationship between LBW history and the incidence of stunting in children aged 2-3 years in the Pantoloan Health Center Working Area. However, there is a significant relationship between the history of complete basic immunization and the incidence of stunting in children aged 2-3 years in the Pantoloan Health Center Working Area.

Abstract

Background: Food waste is an indicator of the success of nutrition services in hospitals. If food waste is >20% in every feeding then this shows that nutrition services in the hospital have failed. One way to reduce food waste is by providing education. And Diabetes Mellitus is the biggest contributor to food waste during hospitalization. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of providing nutrition education on food waste in patients with diabetes mellitus at RSUD Undata, Central Sulawesi Province. Methods: The type of research used is quantitative with experimental method of pre-experiment design one group pretest-posttest. The population of this study were patients with diabetes mellitus who were hospitalized at RSUD Undata, with a sample size of 30 respondents aged 18 to 55 years. The data collection technique used the method of weighing food waste. Research Results: Of the 30 respondents, the percentage of food waste before being given nutrition education was (>20%) with each type of staple food 43%, animal side dishes 38.3%, vegetable side dishes 37.4% and vegetables 56.3%. After being given education, the percentage of food waste decreased, namely (<20%) the type of staple food 5.6%, vegetable side dishes 13.3%, animal side dishes 5% and vegetable 10.3%. Conclusion: There is an effect on the provision of nutrition education on food waste in patients with diabetes mellitus with a significance value >0.05 on the types of staple food, animal side dishes, vegetable side dishes and vegetables. While nutrition education on the rest of fruit food has no effect with a significance value >0.05.

Abstract

Students must have character in accordance with norms and ethical values, to shape the character students need to apply learning models that can support student character formation. Teachers of Islamic education are required to master the competencies aimed at providing quality learning so that students can be accepted with maximum. The competencies that teachers of Islamic education and the model of discharge used are important factors to be able to realize students with character. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of PAI teacher competence and learning models on student character formation, the type of research used in this study is quantitative research. The total number of samples used for this investigation is 64 respondents, the method of sampling this study is Purposive Sampling. The analysis test used for this study is a double linear regression technique with the help of a statistical program tool such as SPSS 26. The results of the test and interpretation in this study can be concluded, Teacher's Competence in Islamic Education (X₁) have a significant and positive influence on Student Character Formation (Y) with a score of 0.316 with t-statistics 2.959 and p-values 0.004 < 0.050. The Learning Model (X₂) has a significant, positive impact on Students' Characters Formation with a value of 0.672 with a t-static of 5.422 and a p- values of 0,000< 0.050.

Abstract

Prehipertensi adalah kondisi berisiko kearah hipertensi. Hipertensi dan prehipertensi disebabkan oleh pola hidup tidak sehat dan tidak hanya berisiko pada usia dewasa tetapi juga pada usia remaja. Prevalensi hipertensi pada kelompok usia ≥18 tahun terjadi peningkatan dari 4,5% menjadi 13,2% di tahun 2013 dan 2018. Prevalensi hipertensi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah pada penduduk usia ≥18 tahun sebesar 29,75%. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui hubungan konsumsi makanan tinggi natrium, sikap, IMT dengan kejadian prehipertensi pada mahasiswa. Desain penelitian cross sectional dan populasi seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Widya Nusantara. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden diperoleh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data IMT diperoleh dengan melakukan penimbangan berat badan dan pengukuran tinggi badan, konsumsi natrium dan sikap melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner SQ-FFQ dan kuesioner sikap serta tekanan darah menggunakan Sphygmomanometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebesar 34% mahasiswa mengkonsumsi makanan tinggi natrium berlebih, 6% memiliki sikap negatif, dan 21% memiliki IMT kegemukan dan obesitas serta 31% prehipertensi dan hipertensi. Tidak ada hubungan konsumsi makanan tinggi natrium dengan prehipertensi (p=1,000) dan adanya hubungan sikap dan IMT dengan kejadian prehipertensi pada Mahasiswa (p=0,072 dan p=0,000). Kesimpulannya yaitu terdapat hubungan sikap dan IMT dengan kejadian prehipertensi pada mahasiswa kecuali konsumsi makanan tinggi natrium.

Abstract

Abstract: Anemia is one of the main factors contributing to the high maternal mortality rate (MMR) worldwide. In 2022, the number of cases of anemia in pregnant women in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Kuta Selatan was recorded at 54.8%. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of Fe tablet compliance with anemia of pregnant women. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted at UPTD Puskesmas Kuta Selatan. The research was conducted in September 2023. The study population was all third trimester pregnant women who came to the UPTD Puskesmas Kuta Selatan Work Area with a sample of 48 people. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between Fe tablet consumption compliance (p value: 0.001) with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. It is recommended for the Puskesmas to improve health counseling services that can increase the knowledge of pregnant women so that they are more responsible for themselves to comply with the recommendations given by health workers and for pregnant women to be more active in seeking information about the benefits of iron tablets, the definition of anemia, the causes of anemia, its impact on the mother and fetus, and how to prevent it.Keywords: Anemia, Pregnant Women, Adherence.

Abstract

Bimbingan belajar merupakan pendekatan tambahan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik di desa Balunganyar. Konteks pendidikan modern yang kompetitif, bimbingan belajar menjadi penting untuk membantu anak-anak mencapai potensi akademik mereka secara optimal. Pengabdian masyarakat dalam efektifitas bimbingan belajar dalam meningkatkan prestasi akademik di desa Balunganyar ini, menggunakan metode PAR(Problem-Action-Result). Lembaga bimbingan belajar (bimbel) menawarkan dukungan tambahan di luar jam sekolah, membantu anak-anak memahami materi pelajaran, meningkatkan keterampilan belajar, dan mempersiapkan diri menghadapi ujian. Pendekatan yang personal dan terfokus, bimbingan belajar mampu memberikan dukungan optimal bagi perkembangan akademik, keterampilan belajar mandiri, dan motivasi belajar anak-anak. Prestasi akademik, sebagai indikator keberhasilan pendidikan, dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti kualitas pengajaran, dukungan keluarga, dan motivasi intrinsik. Era globalisasi dan persaingan yang semakin ketat, bimbingan belajar dianggap sebagai solusi untuk membantu anak-anak mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengevaluasi metode-metode bimbingan belajar yang efektif guna memaksimalkan hasil belajar di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kroket umumya berupa kentang tumbuk diisi daging cincang dan dicampur sayuran. Ubi banggai, ikan katombo, dan kelor merupakan pangan lokal yang mengandung karbohidrat, protein, Fe, dan vitamin C yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan kreasi kroket. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh ubi banggai, ikan katombo dan kelor terhadap daya terima, serta mengetahui kandungan protein, karbohidrat, Fe dan vitamin C pada formulasi terpilih.Metode: Desain eksperimen dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Formulasi kroket dengan perbandingan ubi banggai, ikan katombo dan kelor secara berurutan F1 (18%: 2% : 2%), F2 (13% : 5% : 3%), dan F3 (9%: 9% : 4%). Panelis tidak terlatih sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data menggunakan Krusskal Wallis dan Mann Whitney dengan signifikansi <0,05. Uji kadar protein menggunakan metode biuret, karbohidrat metode anthron, Fe metode spektometer UV-Vis dan vitamin C metode iodimetri.Hasil Penelitian: Ada pengaruh kroket terhadap daya terima pada parameter rasa dan tekstur (p= 0,024 dan p=0,003), perbedaan signifikan antar formulasi diketahui antara F1 dan F2 (p=0,007 dan p<0,001). Selanjutnya, tidak ada pengaruh pada parameter warna dan aroma (p=0,504 dan p=0,194). Nilai rerata daya terima pada semua parameter tertinggi pada F2 (terpilih). F2 mengandung protein 11,723%, karbohidrat 11,612 mg, Fe 1,177 mg dan vitamin C 16,814 mg.Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh daya terima pada parameter rasa dan tekstur. F2 mengandung 11,723% protein, 11,612 mg karbohidrat, 1,177 mg Fe dan 16,814 mg vitamin C.Saran: Perlu analisis kandungan gizi lebih lengkap dan dikreasikan dengan pangan lokal lainnya, seperti bavoa dan rono dange khas Sulawesi Tengah. Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the field of education. Information and communication technology has rapidly developed, influencing the way we acquire, process, and disseminate information. One relevant and important approach in this context is digital literacy-based learning. The integration of technology with Islamic religious education materials can have a substantial impact. For instance, in teaching Fiqih about the rituals of Hajj, teachers can utilize instructional videos that explain the sequence of manasik haji in detail or design simple interactive simulations to help students better understand the process. Meanwhile, for Aqidah and Akhlaq lessons, teachers can guide students to compose short sermons that encourage good behavior on social media, basing their arguments on relevant religious texts or verses. Students can then demonstrate their understanding by uploading these sermons to social media platforms. This study employs qualitative research methods. The data sources include direct observations at SMA Al Muslim Sidoarjo and interviews with key informants such as the principal, Islamic education teachers, and students. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that: 1) The implementation of digital literacy in Islamic education learning involves several stages. The first is the planning stage, where teaching modules are prepared in line with the learning objectives. The second stage is the execution, which involves using the school's digital application (My-Al Muslim) to easily access necessary learning resources. The third stage is the evaluation process, where students are assigned tasks. 2) Supporting factors include the provision of facilities such as computers, LCD projectors, and WiFi. On the other hand, the inhibiting factor is the unstable internet connection.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of TPACK-based learning media, to determine the increase in student learning activity, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of TPACK-based learning media in increasing student activity in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo. This type of research is qualitative research with an inductive descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. This study is based on the conditions of SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo. Duringn the learning process, some students tend to be less active and unproductive in the Islamic Religious Education learning process. The results of this study are that the implementation of TPACK-based learning media in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo went well. In its implementation, Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMA Wahid Hasyim 2 Taman Sidoarjo have involved TPACK in the learning process. This can be seen from the learning planning that Islamic Religious Education teachers have made in the teaching module, Students feel more interested in learning Islamic Religious Education because the methods used are not boring and there are always new things that can be learned through technology. The research results conclude that the implementation of TPACK-based learning media in Islamic Religious Education learning can increase student activity. It can be seen from the activity of students who were initially less active in learning, which showed an increase in active learning after implementing TPACK-based learning media.
