Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the creative thinking process of male and female students with field dependent (FD) and field independent (FI) cognitive styles in solving mathematical problems based on Hayes' theory. This research is a descriptive study with the subjects being two male and two female students in class VIII MTs Darul Ulum Bandung, each of whom has FD and FI cognitive styles. The results of the research show that male FD students' creative thinking is based on flexibility, visible steps in planning solutions, being able to explain the various strategies used, originality, visible steps in implementing plans, determining new strategies in solving problems according to their own opinion, elaboration, visible steps in evaluating plans and evaluating results. , provide an assessment of problem solving planning. The results of the research show that the creative thinking of female FD students, namely originality, shows the steps in implementing the plan, and can determine new strategies in solving problems according to their own opinion. elaboration There are steps to evaluate plans and evaluate solutions, provide assessments on problem solving plans so that ideas are more detailed and provide assessments of problem solving results. Abstract

Rendahnya kepercayaan diri merupakan hambatan signifikan bagi siswa dalam berpartisipasi dan berkembang secara optimal di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui pelatihan public speaking di Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Nur Al Jadid Waru Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan potensi internal sekolah. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 36 siswa kelas 10-12 dan mencakup materi teknik dasar berbicara, latihan vokal, ekspresi, serta manajemen kecemasan. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi secara visual melalui media PowerPoint, praktik langsung seperti presentasi singkat, serta pemberian apresiasi berupa reward. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan siswa. Siswa mampu mengurangi rasa cemas, mengontrol kegugupan, serta menyampaikan gagasan dengan lebih terstruktur dan percaya diri. Keberhasilan praktik langsung ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan terstruktur efektif dalam membangun keberanian dan penguasaan diri siswa sebagai bekal menghadapi tantangan di masa depan.

Abstract

Gaya hidup konsumerisme dan jauh dari efisiensi saat ini sedang melanda sebagian besar rumah tangga. Fenomena ini menyebabkan terjadinya ketimpangan pendapatan dan pengeluaran rumah tangga sehingga terjadi besar pasak dari pada tiang atau besar pengeluaran dari pada pendapatan. Ketimpangan ini bila terus berlanjut akan berbahaya terhadap kondisi Kesehatan rumah tangga sehingga rawan terjadinya perpecahan atau perselisihan di dalam rumah tangga. Sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan keuangan yang tepat dan benar. Amānāh Finance adalah pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga berdasarkan nilai-nilai Amānāh dalam rangka mewujudkan keberkahan keluarga. Nilai-nilai Amānāh adalah, tanggung jawab, terjadwal, terencana, proporsional, komunikatif, transparansi, filantropi Islam dan efisiensi. Dengan pengelolaan keuangan berdasarkan nilai-nilai Amānāh tersebut, keberkahan finansial akan terwujud berupa ketenangan pikiran, kesehatan, kesejahteraan dan rezeki yang cukup, sehingga jauh dari kekhawatiran. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman di lingkungan Muslimah Hidayatullah terhadap materi pengelolaan keuangan dengan nilai-nilai Amānāh. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test para Ummahat yang mengalami peningkatan. Selama pre-test pertanyaan yang diberikan, nilai rata-rata kebenaran yang diperoleh sebesar 9,35 dan setelah diberikan materi dan diadakan post-test, nilainya meningkat menjadi 9,46. Mengalami kenaikan sebesar 12%.

Abstract

River clean-up activities represent a collaborative effort involving students and the community aimed at reducing environmental pollution, improving river ecosystem quality, and fostering sustainable ecological awareness. This program was implemented using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on maximizing local potential such as active community participation, support from local government, and the availability of cleaning facilities and equipment. The implementation of the activity included preparation stages, manual cleaning along riverbanks, and the use of heavy equipment to remove large quantities of weeds and waste. The results indicate an improvement in river cleanliness and an increased level of community awareness regarding environmental conservation efforts. These findings are consistent with previous studies emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining the sustainability of river ecosystems. Overall, this activity contributes to the formation of a healthier environmental culture, encourages sustained participation, strengthens stakeholder synergy, and is expected to become a routine community-based program with long-term impacts for communities living around river areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding and commitment of educational stakeholders, namely teachers, school management, and the community, to implementing multicultural education as a response to the issue of intolerance. The research data sources come from national and international scientific journals, research articles, reference books, and relevant educational policy documents and publications published in the last two decades. Data collection techniques from relevant and credible literature, with data analysis techniques using content analysis methods to identify patterns, supporting factors, and challenges in the process of internalizing tolerance values, this study found that the main factors supporting the success of multicultural education are responsive curriculum updates, practice-based teacher training, the formation of inclusive teams, strengthening social networks, and the integration of digital media as a learning medium. Constructive collaboration between parties within the school environment, as well as family and community involvement, has proven vital to realizing the internalization of values of tolerance and respect for different identities among students. These findings underscore the importance of synergy across educational elements and the need for policies that are responsive and adaptive to global social and technological dynamics.

Abstract

Prevalensi stunting pada anak di bawah lima tahun masih menjadi permasalahan gizi yang signifikan di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Boneoge yang mencatat 53 kasus pada awal tahun 2025. Permasalahan ini berkaitan dengan asupan gizi yang belum optimal serta rendahnya pengetahuan orang tua mengenai gizi seimbang, meskipun potensi sumber daya ikan lokal cukup melimpah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkenalkan inovasi makanan pendamping berupa nugget ikan tuna yang diperkaya sayuran sebagai alternatif pangan bergizi dan mudah diterima anak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan praktik langsung pengolahan nugget tuna kepada ibu-ibu di Desa Boneoge. Evaluasi penerimaan produk dilakukan melalui uji organoleptik terhadap warna, rasa, tekstur, dan aroma. Hasil menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan yang tinggi, terutama pada aspek rasa dan warna. Kesimpulannya, program ini berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterampilan ibu memanfaatkan pangan lokal serta berpotensi mendukung upaya pencegahan stunting secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The lack of engaging nutrition education for adolescents oftenleads to poor food choices, contributing to a high incidence of anemia among adolescent girls. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of nutrition education videos delivered through tiktok and instagram in improving knowledge about anemia among female students at SMA 5 Palu. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, involving 60 female students selected using the slovin formula from a population of 152 students. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire about anemia and analyzed using the paired T-Test.the results showed a significant improvement in knowledge scores after the intervention. In the TikTok group, the mean score increased from 29.7to 1.07 with a p-value of 0.000 ( p ≤ 0.05), while in the Instagram group, the mean score increased from 2.43 to 1.27 with a p-value of 0.004 ( p ≤ 0.05). The TikTok group demonstrated a greater improvement compared to the Instagram group. It can be concluded that nutrition education videos delivered through TikTok and Instagram effectively increase knowledge about anemia among adolescent girls, with TikTok showing higher effectiveness. The use of social media based nutrition education videos is recommended as innovative and youth-friendly strategy for health promotion.

Abstract

Computer animation has emerged as a promising educational tool, yet its effectiveness in resource-constrained Indonesian elementary schools remains underexplored, particularly for teaching abstract scientific concepts. This study examined whether computer animation learning media significantly affects third-grade students' learning outcomes in understanding changes in object forms. A quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control groups was employed, involving 30 third-grade students at SDN 12 Palu, Indonesia. The experimental group (n=15) received animation-based instruction via Google Meet, while the control group (n=15) received conventional image-based instruction via WhatsApp. A validated 15-item achievement test (α=0.87) was administered as pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using independent samples t-test. Although the experimental group achieved higher posttest scores (M=86.67, SD=11.75) compared to the control group (M=72.67, SD=17.92), the difference was not statistically significant (t(28)=2.53, p=0.17). Both groups demonstrated improved learning outcomes, with mean gains of 28.67 and 10.00 points respectively. The null findings suggest that animation's theoretical advantages did not materialize under pandemic-constrained online delivery conditions. Implementation quality, technological infrastructure limitations, and online delivery mediation likely offset potential cognitive benefits. Results underscore the importance of optimal implementation conditions for educational technology effectiveness in developing country contexts.
