Abstract

The assessment of undernutrition status in toddlers was conducted using the weight-for-length or weight-for-height index (WLH or WHH), with a range of -3 to < -2 standard deviations (SD). This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal age at pregnancy, mothers' nutritional knowledge, and parenting practices in complementary feeding (MP-ASI) with the incidence of undernutrition in toddlers aged 6-23 months. This research employed a cross-sectional design with a population of toddlers aged 6-23 months. A total of 98 toddlers were selected as samples through a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through anthropometric measurements, including the weight and length/height of the toddlers, along with questionnaires to assess mothers' knowledge levels and MP-ASI parenting practices. The collected data were analyzed using the chi square test. The results of the analysis showed that maternal age at pregnancy did not have a significant relationship with the incidence of undernutrition in toddlers aged 6-23 months, with a p-value of 0.152 (p > 0.1). However, mothers' nutritional knowledge and MP-ASI parenting practices showed a significant relationship with the incidence of undernutrition in toddlers, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.1). In conclusion, low levels of maternal nutritional knowledge and inadequate MP-ASI parenting practices are associated with undernutrition in toddlers aged 6-23 months. In contrast, maternal age at pregnancy, whether below 20 or above 35, does not show a significant relationship with toddler nutrition status in this study.

Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel ini untuk menganalisis hukum perspektif islam dengan mempertimbangkan Alqur’an dan Hadits dalam hal kajian kepemimpinan perempuan. Hal ini dilakukan karena banyak orang meremehkan perempuan dalam dasar hukum islam tentang aturan yang harus diperhatikan ketika memilih perempuan dan mencalonkan perempuan. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan pada setiap manusia ditetapkan sejak lahir, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk menormalisasikan peran sebagai pengganti tuhan untuk menyelamatkan bumi. Meskipun keduanya berbelah pihak untuk menerima dasar hukum Alqur’an dan Hadits, pebedaan ulama mengenai perbedaan gender dalam posisi pemimpin juga tidak dapat dihindari

Abstract

Quran learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) has an important role in the formation of character and morals of the young generation. However, in practice, the learning strategies used are often less effective in improving students' understanding of the teachings of the Quran, both in terms of understanding the meaning and its application in everyday life. This problem is exacerbated by the lack of diversity in teaching methods, limited technology, and differences in the level of understanding between students. This study aims to explore the Quran learning strategies applied in MI, identify the challenges faced, and analyze the potential use of technology in improving the quality of Quran learning. The research method used is a literature study, by analyzing various relevant literature on learning theories, Al-Quran teaching methods, and the use of technology in education. This study found that the lecture and memorization methods often used in MI tend to be ineffective in building a deep understanding of the Al-Quran. Contextual and thematic approaches that connect the teachings of the Al-Quran with students' daily lives have proven to be more effective. In addition, the integration of technology such as digital Al-Quran applications and e-learning platforms can enrich students' learning experiences, although technology accessibility is a major challenge. The implications of this study indicate the importance of innovation in Al-Quran learning strategies in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, by emphasizing a more flexible, technology-based approach that is relevant to students' needs. Teacher training is also needed to optimize the use of methods and technology in learning.

Abstract

Education has a central role in improving the quality of human resources and the sustainability of a nation. The success of education is reflected in student learning outcomes which include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. One of the key factors that affect learning outcomes is learning motivation. Motivation functions as a driver and director of student learning activities that have a direct impact on the achievement of academic achievement. This article aims to examine the role of learning motivation on student learning outcomes at the MTS level equivalent. Through a literature review, it was found that high learning motivation can increase students' effort intensity, strengthen their enthusiasm for learning, and help students understand and apply knowledge in daily life. This research is expected to provide strategic recommendations in creating an effective learning environment based on religious values, in order to support the improvement of the quality of education as a whole.

Abstract

The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is an approach that focuses on problem-solving as a way to enhance student learning outcomes. This research aims to review the effectiveness of the PBL model in improving student learning outcomes, as well as critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. Based on the existing literature review, PBL has been proven to enhance student learning outcomes by making them more active in their learning, as they are directly involved in the problem-solving process relevant to real life. Additionally, PBL also develops collaboration and communication skills among students. However, the success of PBL implementation is influenced by various factors, such as teacher support, adequate school facilities, and parental support. Overall, PBL can improve student learning outcomes, both in academic aspects and life skills.Further research is needed to examine the application of PBL at various educational levels and subjects.

Abstract

Kegiatan kerja bakti di Pondok Pesantren Modern Al-Amanah Junwangi Krian Sidoarjo merupakan upaya strategis dalam membentuk karakter santri melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang menekankan nilai-nilai kebersihan, tanggung jawab, dan gotong royong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran santri terhadap kebersihan lingkungan serta menanamkan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Islam melalui kegiatan rutin kerja bakti. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan santri secara aktif dalam identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek kesadaran kebersihan, sikap tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, serta terbentuknya budaya gotong royong di lingkungan pesantren. Selain berdampak pada kebersihan fisik, kegiatan ini juga menjadi media pendidikan karakter yang kontekstual, relevan dengan kehidupan santri sehari-hari, dan sesuai dengan prinsip Maqashid Syariah. Penjadwalan rutin, pembinaan karakter, serta peningkatan sarana kebersihan direkomendasikan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan program ini.

Abstract

Masalah gizi remaja di Indonesia fluktuatif, baik gizi kurang maupun gizi lebih. Remaja masa kini memiliki kebiasaan merokok dan konsumsi kafein terutama pada remaja putra. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan hubungan merokok dan konsumsi kafein dengan IMT/U pada remaja putra. Metode Penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sebanyak 146 sampel diambil mengunakan teknik Simple random sampling pada remaja putra di SMK Negeri 1 Sigi. Uji statistik mengunakan korelasi gamma dan chi square dengan nilai interval kepercayaan 95%. Diketahui remaja 29,7% gizi kurang, 11,7% gizi lebih, 57,9% merokok, dan 58,6% sering dan sangat sering konsumsi kafein. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara merokok dan konsumsi kafein dengan IMT/U berturut-turut p=0,105 dan p=0,936. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara merokok dan konsumsi kafein dengan IMT/U pada remaja putra.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in greater detail how families with an Islamic educational background contribute to the formation of children’s religious values through consistent exemplary behavior in daily life. By employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, this research involved three Muslim families residing in Surabaya. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation to explore how parental behavior influences children's understanding and internalization of Islamic teachings. The study found that consistent parental practices such as performing daily prayers together, demonstrating honesty, patience, and compassion, and engaging in open discussions about religious matters play a crucial role in shaping children's spiritual and moral development. Children tend to imitate religious practices they observe at home, especially when reinforced through positive family communication and emotional support. The findings also show that the synergy between family practices and formal religious education further strengthens the children’s internalization of Islamic values. Parents with Islamic educational backgrounds are shown to have a stronger awareness of the importance of being role models and fostering a religious environment. This study emphasizes the concrete impact of parental consistency and conscious modeling in cultivating faith-based values, highlighting the family’s central role as the first and most influential educational setting for children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terhadap pembentukan sikap toleransi peserta didik melalui studi literatur kualitatif. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan menelaah berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis isi untuk menemukan pola, faktor pendukung, serta tantangan dalam proses internalisasi nilai toleransi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk sikap toleran peserta didik. PAI terbukti tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan keagamaan, tetapi juga menanamkan nilai kasih sayang, keadilan, dan penghormatan terhadap perbedaan. Faktor penentu keberhasilan meliputi kurikulum yang adaptif, metode pembelajaran dialogis, serta keteladanan guru, sedangkan tantangan yang dihadapi antara lain perbedaan tingkat pemahaman siswa dan keterbatasan waktu. Dengan demikian, Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki kontribusi nyata dalam membentuk generasi moderat, berakhlak mulia, dan siap menjaga keharmonisan dalam masyarakat majemuk.
