Abstract

Education in the modern era demands that Islamic institutions be able to manage human resources professionally without abandoning the spiritual values that are their identity. This study aims to analyze human resource management strategies in improving the quality of educational staff at SMP Life Skill Nur 'Ala Nur, Cirebon City. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, through data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out through a process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions with validity tests using source and technique triangulation. The results show that the HR management strategy at SMP Life Skill Nur 'Ala Nur, Cirebon City includes needs planning, competency development, performance evaluation, and empowerment of educational staff based on Islamic values. This strategy has proven effective in improving the professionalism, loyalty, and spirituality of educational staff. The implications of this study indicate that the integration of Islamic values and modern management principles can be a model for sustainable human resource development for other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in education management. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as an innovation that enables significant administrative and human resource (HR) management transformations in educational institutions. Through a literature review method, this article discusses how AI can support educational administrative functions ranging from administrative services, data management, to decision-making while strengthening human resource management, including recruitment, training, and performance. The results show that AI integration enables operational efficiency, transparency, and accuracy, as well as the potential to improve the quality of management and performance of human resources. However, there are serious challenges such as infrastructure readiness, digital literacy, as well as ethical and data privacy aspects. For this reason, a digital roadmap, AI literacy training, and internal policies that support smart and ethical implementation in educational institutions are needed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjembatani tataran konsep pemikiran sejarah dari seorang sosiolog bernama Malik Bennabi untuk dapat menjadi landasan bagi peningkatan kualitas guru sejarah Islam dan guru mata pelajaran SKI di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam. Metode dalam studi ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Sumber referensi yang digunakan adalah buku karya Malik Bennabi, buku dan jurnal terkait pemikirannya serta jurnal yang membahas kompetensi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru sejarah Islam yang ideal menurut pemikiran sejarah Malik Bennabi bertolak pada kemampuan intelektualitas sejarah yang membangun kompetensi-kompetensi kependidikan guru sejarah Islam. Guru Sejarah Islam penting untuk memiliki pemikiran mendalam, utuh dan tepat tentang sejarah peradaban Islam dimana materi sejarah ditempatkan sebagai materi ilmiah yang hidup dan refleksi moral dalam skala peradaban. Kemampuan intelektual sejarah tersebut kemudian membangun kompetensi guru agar dapat mendidik peserta didik untuk tidak hanya cerdas dalam kognitif dan mulia dalam moral namun juga handal untuk menjadi pelaku sejarah di masa depan melanjutkan peradaban Islam.

Abstract

The transformation of education in the digital era encourages schools to integrate technology comprehensively into learning practices and institutional management. In this context, the digital leadership of school principals plays a crucial role in directing change, developing teacher professionalism, and creating a sustainable culture of learning innovation. This study aims to analyze the role of principals’ digital leadership in enhancing teacher professionalism and promoting learning innovation in the era of educational transformation. The research method used is a qualitative literature study by analyzing various scientific articles, research reports, and relevant academic documents. The analysis was conducted using thematic content analysis techniques to identify patterns of digital leadership roles and their impact on teachers’ professional practices as well as learning innovation. The results show that principals’ digital leadership contributes through three main aspects: the development of teachers’ digital competencies through training and coaching, the implementation of technology-based academic supervision, and the creation of a collaborative and innovative school culture. In addition, principals are proven to strengthen technology integration in the learning process through a clear digital vision, professional collaboration, and the use of data as a basis for decision-making. However, challenges such as teacher resistance, limited infrastructure, and digital literacy gaps remain major obstacles to optimizing innovation. This study reaffirms the importance of principals’ digital leadership capacity to ensure that educational transformation proceeds effectively and sustainably
