Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok Efektif untuk Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik Kelas V SD Negeri 026 Tarakan. Bimbingan kelompok merupakan upaya bimbingan yang diberikan kepada sejumlah individu yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama, bertujuan membantu mereka yang belum berpengalaman dalam perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Adapun kedisiplinan merupakan sikap dan perilaku yang mencerminkan ketaatan dan ketepatan waktu terhadap peraturan, dan standar yang berlaku. Adapun pelanggaran peraturan yang umum terjadi di sekolah sebagai contoh peserta didik tidak mengenakan pakaian sekolah yang lengkap dan datang terlambat, tidak mengumpulkan tugas pada waktunya, bicara dalam kelas saat guru menjelaskan, tidur di kelas dan lain-lain. Maka dari itu kedisiplinan di sekolah perlu di perhatikan dan diatasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre-Experimental Design menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 026 Tarakan yang berjumlah sebanyak 55 siswa dan penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling berjumlah 10 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala kedisiplinan berdasarkan teori (Daryanto Surytri, 2013), teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan uji hipotesis Paired Sample T-test. Adapun uji Paired Sample T-Test menggunakan software SPSS 29.0 for mac. Hasil analisis data dari uji Paired Sample T-test diperoleh nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,007 0,005 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 026 Tarakan. Berdasarkan dari hasil skor Pre-test yang di peroleh 10 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian ini terdapat 4 siswa memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan tinggi, 6 siswa memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan sedang, dan 1 siswa memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan rendah. Pada hasil Post-test terdapat 9 siswa memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan tinggi dan 1 siswa memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan sedang.

Abstract

Komunikasi Interpersonal merupakan proses penyampaian informasi yang dilakukan oleh komunikator kepada komunikan secara tatap muka sehingga menimbulkan komunikasi timbal balik atau dengan kata lain orang yeng menerima informasi tidak hanya seorang tapi bisa lebih dari seorang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan komunikasi interpersonal siswa yang menjadi subjek kunci di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Tarakan. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kurangnya komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa yang menjadi subjek kunci, hal tersebut dipicu oleh sistem sekolah yang berbasis agamais dengan menerapkan segregasi gender, selain itu minimnya interaksi antar sesama warga sekolah hingga saling tidak mengenal satu sama lain. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah pemenuhan komunikasi interpersonal pada subjek kunci berdasarkan pada indikator keterbukaan, sikap positif dan empati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, terdiri dari 1 informan kunci dan 2 informan pendukung. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, metode Miles dan Huberman: reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dengan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan wawancara dan dokumentasi yang ada, maka kurangnya komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa tidak menjadikan siswa terbelakang dari siswa aktif lainnya dari segi kepribadian diri maupun sisi akademiknya di sekolah.

Abstract

Tradisi pabalian merupakan tradisi yang berasal dari suku Bugis Letta yang diwariskan secara turun temurun oleh para leluhur. Tradisi pabalian merupakan kegiatan saling menolong dan saling membantu antar sesama untuk meringankan pekerjaan pemilik acara dengan bertujuan untuk menyukseskan acara. Fokus dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi pabalian suku Bugis Letta di Kota Tarakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang terdiri dari tiga informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data dengan model Milles dan Huberman yakni, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dengan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi terdapat empat nilai-nilai yang mencerminkan gotong royong yaitu kerja sama, saling menolong, solidaritas dan kekeluargaan. Nilai-nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi pabalian suku Bugis Letta ini sejalan dengan karakteristik serta kode etik yang diperlukan seorang konselor ataupun guru bimbingan dan konseling yang ideal.

Abstract

Climate change has emerged as a significant global challenge that profoundly impacts various aspects of life, particularly mental health, and this is especially true for young adults who often experience heightened anxiety and distress in response to environmental changes. The present study investigates the role of social counseling as a vital intervention in mitigating the psychological effects of climate change anxiety. By employing a cross-cultural comparative approach, the research engages participants from diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing for a nuanced understanding of how social counseling practices can be effectively adapted to meet the unique needs of different populations. Findings underscore that effective counseling interventions encompass essential components such as providing emotional support, educating individuals about climate change, and fostering the development of coping skills, all of which not only assist individuals in managing their anxiety but also empower them to take proactive measures regarding their environmental concerns. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of culturally sensitive methodologies in designing counseling programs, as varying cultural contexts significantly influence perceptions of climate change and responses to anxiety. In light of these insights, the research advocates for integrated strategies that consider cultural nuances when addressing climate change anxiety, thereby offering valuable guidance for mental health practitioners, educators, and policymakers. By fostering resilience among young individuals and recognizing the intersection between environmental issues and mental health, the study contributes to a growing body of literature that calls for holistic approaches to support the mental well-being of future generations as they navigate the complexities of an ever-changing environment.

Abstract

Since tax revenues are declining annually, it is evident that Indonesian taxpayer compliance is still at a low level. The declining number of taxpayers in KPP Pratama Sleman Regency each year is another indicator of taxpayer compliance and the negative attitude of private taxpayers. The goal of this study is to determine the relative importance of tax penalties, taxpayer knowledge, taxpayer awareness, and taxpayer attitudes. Quantitative approaches are used in this study. The sample in this study consisted of a few KPP Sleman personnel, while the population consisted of 50 respondents, who were KPP Sleman taxpayer consumers. Random sampling was the sampling method employed in this study. Multiple regression is the data analysis method employed, and the analysis's findings indicate that Taxpayer Knowledge of Taxpayer Compliance is attained at t = 9.338 > -4.911ttable with a sig level of 0.00 < sig.α (0.05), meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. As a result, H1—the research hypothesis that "Taxpayer Knowledge has a considerable effect on Taxpayer Compliance"—is accepted. Taxpayer Compliance (Y) obtained t = 4.377> 14.855 from ttable with a sig value. The influence of taxpayer attitudes on taxpayer compliance is obtained t = 9.338 > 4.337ttable with a sig level. = 0.00< sig.α (0.05), and H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The influence of taxpayer knowledge on taxpayer compliance is obtained t = 9.338 > 13.104ttable with a sig level. = 0.00< sig.α (0.05). H0 if 0.00 < sig.α (0.05

Abstract

The decline in communication ethics and student behavior in the school environment often causes complaints from teachers. This study aims to analyze the effect of group guidance and counseling services with sociodrama techniques on the understanding of polite behavior of grade VII students at MTS Palu Barat. The method used is an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design and a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 10 students who were selected purposively from a population of 62 students. The instrument used was a Likert scale to measure aspects of politeness in interacting with teachers, parents, older people, peers, friends of the opposite sex, and younger people. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with a significance result of 0.005 (<0.05), indicating that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. These findings suggest that group guidance services incorporating sociodrama techniques have a significant impact on enhancing students’ understanding of polite behavior. Additionally, sociodrama techniques can be effectively integrated into school counseling programs to promote students’ social and emotional development. Abstract

Financial Distress is a condition where a company experience a decline in financial condition which is the beginning before the bankcruptcy occurs. The problem of financial distress can be seen from the condition of the company’s profits which fallen continiusly or even had negative profits for several years. This research aims to empirically test the effect of profitability, liquidity, leverage, and cash flow operating on financial distress. The population in this research is 108 consumer good non-cyclicals companies sector listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2023 period. The sample in this study was 71 companies using a purposive sampling technique. The technique in this research uses multiple linear analysis test. The result of the research show that profitability, liquidity, and leverage have significant effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, cash flow operating has no effect on financial distress.

Abstract

Mental health among adolescents in rural schools is increasingly recognized as a critical public health issue, yet these areas often lack access to professional psychological support. This study aims to explore the design considerations and implementation strategies of AI-driven chatbots as accessible and scalable tools for supporting adolescent mental health in rural educational settings. Using a qualitative research design, the study reviews existing literature and analyzes user-centered design principles, AI natural language processing capabilities, and ethical constraints in deploying mental health chatbots. Findings suggest that culturally-sensitive content, confidentiality safeguards, and integration with school counseling protocols are crucial to the effectiveness of such tools. The study proposes a conceptual design framework for future development and implementation. This research contributes to the development of inclusive and adaptive digital interventions in underserved communities.

Abstract

Discipline is the key to success, so if someone has undisciplined behavior, it will have a negative impact on themselves and others because it can distance them from success. The objective of this research is to investigate the impact of group guidance on students' disciplinary behavior at SMA Negeri 2 Tarakan. This study adopts a quantitative approach through a pre-experimental method, utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design to assess changes before and after the intervention. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire. Student discipline is reviewed from 3 aspects, namely: 1) order; 2) ability to control oneself; and 3) ability to concentrate. The population of this study was 451 grade XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Tarakan. The sample in this study consisted of 12 students, selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical methods, with the assistance of SPSS version 25 software. The results of the study indicate that during the pretest phase, students' discipline levels were categorized as high and very high, with an average score of 156.7. Following the implementation of the posttest, the average score increased to 175.3, remaining within the very high category. Hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test (parametric) revealed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This result leads to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho), indicating that group guidance has a significant effect on student discipline at SMA Negeri 2 Tarakan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the learning interests of grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tarakan City and the factors that affect them. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the main informants, namely grade VIII students, subject teachers, and homeroom teachers. Data sources were obtained from direct observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation of learning activities. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results showed that students' learning interests were in the medium category, influenced by internal factors such as motivation, perception of the material, and curiosity; as well as external factors such as teachers' teaching methods, the role of parents, and learning environment conditions. Teachers who can create an interactive and fun learning atmosphere are proven to increase students' interest in learning. Family support is also a significant factor in encouraging students' active involvement in the learning process.
