Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) melalui penguatan etos kerja dalam menyongsong pembangunan Kawasan Industri Hijau Indonesia (KIHI) di Kalimantan Utara. Program bertajuk Work Ethic Skill of Students (WESS) dilaksanakan selama delapan hari dengan melibatkan siswa kelas XI SMKN 1 Tarakan sebagai peserta. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah student-centered learning berbasis partisipatif yang mengintegrasikan metode diskusi, simulasi, refleksi diri, permainan edukatif, dan konseling. Materi kegiatan difokuskan pada sembilan aspek etos kerja, yaitu motivasi, inisiatif, kerjasama, kontrol diri, komitmen, stabilitas emosi, hubungan interpersonal positif, disiplin kerja, dan ketahanan kerja. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta observasi dan refleksi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman dan sikap siswa terhadap nilai-nilai etos kerja. Sesi reflektif seperti “Siapa Aku di Masa Depan”, “Simulasi Masa Depan”, dan “Konseling KIPAS” memperkuat kesadaran diri siswa terhadap pentingnya membangun karakter yang siap menghadapi dunia kerja. Selain berdampak pada siswa, kegiatan ini juga mendapat apresiasi dari guru bimbingan konseling dan mitra industri karena dinilai kontekstual dan relevan dengan kebutuhan tenaga kerja saat ini. Dengan demikian, program WESS menjadi model penguatan karakter yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah lain sebagai upaya kolaboratif antara pendidikan dan dunia industri dalam membangun sumber daya manusia unggul di wilayah strategis seperti Kalimantan Utara.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of individual counseling given to teachers in inclusive schools in dealing with learning problems with students with special needs (ABK) in Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of the study were teachers and school counselors from three inclusion primary and secondary schools. The results of the study showed that individual counseling services were carried out with a flexible and collaborative approach, including teacher needs assessment, emotional mentoring, learning strategies, and mediation in classroom problems. Counselors play an active role as professional companions in supporting teachers to understand the characteristics of ABK and adjust inclusive learning methods. Despite obstacles such as the limited number of counselors and the lack of inclusive education training, the implementation of individual counseling has been proven to have a positive impact on teachers' readiness and ability to create friendly and adaptive learning for all students. In conclusion, individual counseling for teachers is an integral part of the support system in inclusive education in this region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-management techniques on the learning discipline of eighth-grade students at Frater Don Bosco Middle School, Tarakan. Learning discipline remains a significant obstacle in the school environment. Self-management techniques were chosen as an intervention because they can train students to manage their time, behavior, and learning responsibilities independently. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the nonequivalent control group type. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, which were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a learning discipline questionnaire. The results showed a significant increase in student learning discipline after being given self-management treatment, compared to the control class. This finding indicates that self-management techniques have a positive effect on improving student learning discipline. The implication of this study is the importance of implementing self-management strategies in the learning process to support optimal student academic achievement.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology has presented new challenges in treaty law, especially regarding the validity of legal relations that occur without face-to-face meetings. This study uses a normative-empirical method to analyze the application of treaty law in the context of the AI ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to understand the relationship between the legal terms of agreements based on Article 1320 of the Civil Code and the practice of agreements made through AI-based digital media. The data sources came from a literature study of laws and regulations, jurisprudence, and online treaty practices. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies and participatory observation of the implementation of AI in community legal interactions. The data analysis technique uses the law enforcement approach and the concept of recht vacuum to assess whether there is a legal vacuum. The results of the study show that agreements made through AI are still declared valid and binding as long as they meet the legal elements of the agreement according to the Civil Code, except for certain types of agreements that legally require face-to-face meetings such as land buying and selling, notary deeds, and grants, in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions

Abstract

The popularity of mobile online games among students has led to various social impacts, one of which is the decline in communication ethics during gameplay. Many students engage in inappropriate, aggressive, and impolite verbal interactions while playing, indicating weak digital ethical awareness among adolescents. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling using participant modeling techniques to improve students’ communication ethics during online gaming activities. A quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design experimental method was employed in this research. The study involved a population of 357 students, from which 10 students were purposively selected as research subjects based on their tendency to engage in unethical communication during gaming. Data were collected using a communication ethics scale questionnaire, and analyzed through a paired sample t-test. The findings revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 6.239 > 2.228. It can be concluded that the participant modeling technique is effective in fostering students’ ethical behavior in digital interactions during mobile gaming. This study implies that school counseling services should adopt this approach as an intervention model to cultivate students’ digital ethics.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah terdapat pengaruh kinerja lingkungan dan green accounting terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan GCG (good corporate governance) sebagai variable moderasi. Variabel dependen pada penelitian ini yaitu kinerja keuangan, variabel independen pada penelitian ini terdiri atas dua yaitu kinerja lingkungan dan greem accounting, serta pada penelitian ini menggunakan variabel moderasi yaitu GCG (good corporate governance). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor basic material yang terdaftar pada bursa efek indonesia (BEI) periode 2022-2024. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 41 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada peneitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan sumber data sekunder. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan moderasi menggunakan alat uji Eviews 13. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa variabel kinerja lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sedangkan variabel green accounting tidak berpengaruh dalam kinerja keuangan dengan nilai signifikan 0,503 > 0,05 . Serta variabel GCG (good corporate governance) tidak memperkuat atau memoderasi pengaruh green accounting terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,278 > 0,05 dan variabel GCG (good corporate governance) tidak memperkuat atau memoderasi pengaruh kinerja lingkungan terhadap kinerja keuangan dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,896 > 0,05.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dialami guru-guru Bimbingan Konseling di Kalimantan Utara adalah kurangnya keterampilan dalam menyusun Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK), sehingga perlu dilakukan pelatihan penyusunan penelitian tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada siswa dan juga untuk menambah wawasan dan keterampilan tentang ilmu Bimbingan dan Konseling. Pelatihan PTBK bagi Guru-guru Bimbingan dan Konseling yang ada di Kalimantan Utara dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Borneo Tarakan bekerjasama dengan Asosiasi Bimbingan Konseling Indonesia (ABKIN) Kalimantan Utara yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 sampai dengan tanggal 21 November 2021. Tahapan Pelaksanaan pelatihan penyusunan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) terbagi menjadi  2 tahap kegiatan. Tahap pertama berupa pendalaman konsep penelitian Tindakan bimbingan dan konseling, dan Tahap kedua berupa praktik penyusunan proposal PTBK. Kemampuan peserta setelah pelatihan dilihat dari penguasaan materi dan dalam kegiatan praktek berupa penyusunan proposal Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) dinilai baik dengan skors post test sebesar 81%. Antusiasme peserta dalam mengikuti pelatihan juga tinggi dilihat dengan banyaknya  pertanyaan dan umpan balik selama sesi diskusi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of tax collection and the use of tapping boxes on taxpayer compliance of restaurant taxpayers in Padang City. This research is a type of quanlitative research with a descriptive approach. The population and sample in this study are restaurants in the city of Padang. The sampling method uses the slovin formula, with a total sample of 67. The data used in this study is primary data collected through questionnaires to restaurant owners according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Padang City. Then the collected data was tested with multiple linear regression analysis R2 test, F test, t test. The results showed that the variable effectiveness of tax collection had an effect on restaurant taxpayer compliance in the city of Padang and the variable use of tapping boxes also had an effect on taxpayer compliance in the city of Padang.
