Abstract

Analisis SWOT dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor eksternal dan internal untuk menyusun strategi guna mencapai tujuan organisasi. Di samping kelebihannya, analisa SWOT ini juga memiliki kelemahan- kelemahan.  Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan TVRI, telah berusaha untuk menyusun strategi untuk mencapai tujuan pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsinya. Tulisan ilmiah ini dimaksudkan untuk mengkaji analisis SWOT yang dilakukan dari sisi kelebihan dan kelemahannya. Metode yang diaplikasikan dalam artikel ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data dengan melakukan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan TVRI. Dari kajian yang  menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dan wawancara, diketahui adanya kekurangan dalam penggunaan analisa SWOT di Pusdiklat LPP TVRI. Dari kajian tersebut penulis menyimpulkan serta memberikan rekomendasi bagi penggunaan analisa SWOT agar lebih baik di waktu mendatang.

Abstract

IMPROVING TEACHERS' PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT THROUGH PRINCIPALS' TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE, AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATIONThis research aims to find effective and efficient ways to increase teachers' professional commitment by examining the influence of variables that are thought to have a relationship with teachers' professional commitment. These variables are Transformational Leadership and Organizational Culture. and Achievement Motivation. The methods found are then used as input and recommendations to teachers, school principals, management or foundations, school supervisors, and the education department. This research also attempts to identify indicators of research variables that need to be improved and those that need to be maintained. This research uses a survey method with path analysis techniques (Path Analysis).  The population in this study was 358 Permanent Foundation Teachers in 46 Private Middle Schools in Pancoran Mas District, Depok City. The sampling technique in this research used a proportional random sampling technique using the Slovin formula with an error margin of 5%. The number of samples used in this research was 189 GTY respondents in private junior high schools in Depok City District. The research results show a positive direct influence of transformational leadership on teachers' professional commitment through achievement motivation and a positive direct influence of organizational culture on teachers' professional commitment through achievement motivation.

Abstract

Indonesia needs to improve the teacher’s competence in terms of personality, social, pedagogic and professional dimension since the student’s achievement is still under satisfied. Learning supervision is one of the competences which the principal should have to improve the teacher’s performance. Observation and data analysis of the learning supervision are the important components to create such qualified information. The research is intended to develop manual based observation to be Android based observation by research and development method, to analyze and empirically proof the model quality and accountability. The research fact of model quality is based on the assessment of supervision, output, linguistics, usage, software engineering, design, and visual communication aspects. Data analyzing technique uses qualitative approach through inductive method while data collecting technique uses observation model of 11 principals research subject at Gugus 04 of District Cisarua Kabupaten Bogor. The research produce Android based observation namely AOS (Application of Observation) with the accountability index 4.57 which means that the model is \ accountable to be used at learning supervision process so that the quality of the learning process and the student performance can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the future of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) research and publication by looking at trends, countries, institutions, authors, and hotspots in education. This research method uses a literature review with a flow of gathering, filtering, bibliometric, mapping, and reviewing data sources from the Scopus index database amounting to 222 documents. This study uses data analysis based on the Vosviewer software. The study's findings showed that the trend of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) research continues to grow. Globalization and the advancement of communication technology encourage teachers to develop teaching skills using CRT-oriented pedagogics. The concept and implementation of CRT in learning are still dominated by the most productive countries, organizations, and figures in the United States. This is a challenge for any country, especially Indonesia, which is multicultural. To increase research and publications in the field of CRT, the increase in teachers' awareness of cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity, Mastery of various multimodal teaching, and taking teaching resources from the local cultural context require serious attention together. The hotspots that can be done for future CRT research are directed at terms or variables that have not been explored much, such as pre-service teacher, self-efficacy, CRT practice, impact, STEM, class, instruction, disability, work, equity, implementation, and technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the role of school committees on the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure and the quality of educational services in public elementary schools in Dempo Utara District, Pagaralam City. Using a quantitative approach, this research employs a survey method through questionnaires distributed to principals, teachers, and school committee members. Data analysis results indicate that the role of school committees significantly influences the fulfillment of school facilities and infrastructure (p0.05). Moreover, the committee's role positively impacts the quality of educational services, particularly in the aspects of supervision and support for curriculum development. This study underscores the importance of collaboration between schools and communities through school committees to enhance education quality. Recommendations are directed to schools and the government to further empower school committees to optimize the quality of educational services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the discovery learning model in improving student learning motivation in Civics Education at SMP Negeri 12 Palu, specifically in class VII. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) method, consisting of two cycles, each cycle involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations and interviews, which were then analyzed to measure changes in student learning motivation. The results showed that the implementation of the discovery learning model supported by technology could enhance student learning motivation. Significant improvements were observed in the indicators of student activity, persistence in tasks, and interest in the material, showing marked progress between cycle I and cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the discovery learning model, combined with technology, is effective in improving student learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the competencies that principals must have in the 21st Century. Writing this article uses the literature review method, is there a qualitative descriptive data analysis technique by looking for theoretical references relevant to the cases or problems found. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusions that answer the problem of this research are (1) the principal is someone who is given the task of leading a school, (2) the intended leadership is the ability to influence organizational resources to move to follow orders to achieve goals (4) effective principal's leadership in terms of entrepreneurial leadership, exemplary, intelligent, and democratic, (4) the 21st century is the era of technological advances in the fields of information, communication, and transportation, (5) the characteristics of the 21st century which are available access anytime, faster computing, and communication that can be done from anywhere and anywhere, (6) Competencies that principals must have to face the 21st century, namely dimensions of personality, managerial, entrepreneurial, supervision, and social competence

Abstract

INCREASING COMMITMENT TO THE PROFESSION THROUGH PERSONALITY STRENGTHENING, AND TEACHER EMPOWERMENT, MEDIATED BY JOB SATISFACTIONIn general, this research aims to find strategies and ways to increase Commitment to the Profession in Permanent Teachers of Private Elementary School Foundations in Cipayung District, East Jakarta so that it can become input and recommendations for related parties, namely teachers, school principals, school administrators, and education authorities. Apart from that, we also found a new synthesis regarding commitment to the profession, personality, empowerment and job satisfaction. This research was conducted at the private elementary school level because private teachers have a commitment that is certainly different from civil servant teachers. This research uses quantitative research with a path analysis approach, which is a process of finding knowledge that uses data in the form of numbers as a tool to find information about what we want to know. The population in this study were private elementary school teachers with non-GTY status who taught in Cipayung District, East Jakarta. The population is 278 teachers from 10 private elementary schools in the Cipayung sub- district, East Jakarta. Of the 278 permanent foundation teachers at private elementary schools in Cipayung sub-district, East Jakarta, 165 non - GTY people will be sampled. This study found that Personality has a significant effect on teacher professional commitment with a path coefficient of 3.624 (p-value 0.01). Empowerment also contributes significantly with a path coefficient of 4.317 (p- value 0.01), and job satisfaction shows a significant effect with a path coefficient of 2.732 (p-value 0.01). The indirect effect of personality and empowerment on teacher professional commitment is mediated by job satisfaction, each with a coefficient of 0.2095 and 0.2769 indicating an important role of job satisfaction as a mediator. The results of the research show that personality has a direct and very  significant  positive  effect  on  commitment  to the profession through job  satisfaction  so  that strengthening  personality  through  job  satisfaction  can  indirectly  increase  commitment  to  the profession and empowerment has an indirect effect on commitment to the profession through job satisfaction, thereby strengthening empowerment. Through job satisfaction it can indirectly increase commitment to the profession.

Abstract

Perubahan terjadi sangat cepat disertai persaingan yang sangat ketat di dunia penyiaran mengharuskan TVRI melakukan transformasi, bisa diangankan bila TVRI berdiam dan merasa puas, maka cepat atau lamban TVRI akan terkalahkan dalam rivalitas. Terdapat cara bagi TVRI adalah ikut beranjak membuntuti perubahan dalam kinerjanya. Untuk mengetahui dan memastikan kinerja dan tercapainya tujuan LPP TVRI menggunakan sistem pengujian kinerja yang lebih baik dan tepat yakni pengukuran balanced score card yang dikenalkan profesor Harvard Robert Kaplan dan David Norton pada tahun 1992. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami setinggi apa tingkat keberhasilan kinerja LPP TVRI melalui keempat perspektif balance score card, melihat perancangan strategis yang harus diimplementasikan setiap perspektif dalam balanced score card supaya sejalan visi maupun tujuan LPP TVRI. Metode yang diaplikasikan dalam artikel ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data dengan melakukan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Wawancara dilakukan dengan Direktur Utama LPP TVRI Bapak Iman Brotoseno, dan Direktur Keuangan Raden Sardjono. Hasil wawancara dan melihat fakta data di LPP TVRI berdasarkan masing-masing perspektif yang berada dalam belenced score card yaitu perspektif finansial, perspektif proses bisnis internal dan pelanggan, serta perspektif pembelajaran, dan pertumbuhan. Hasil artikel pada LPP TVRI menunjukkan bahwa kinerja keuangan menunjukkan kondisi yang baik meskipun besaran anggaran sesungguhnya masih jauh dari ideal, kinerja perspektif pelanggan telah dilakukan berbagai hal untuk memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada pemirsa, kinerja dari pandangan proses bisnis internal yang meliputi observasi dan inovasi karyawan memperlihatkan hasil yang baik, kinerja terus berkembang prospektif, serta pembelajaran dari pengamatan kapabilitas pegawai dan kepuasan pegawai menunjukkan hasil positif.
