Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work ethic, length of service, and facilities on employee productivity at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Aghisna Kroya, both partially and simultaneously. The approach used is quantitative with a descriptive survey method. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 167 respondents selected using simple random sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using statistical tests, including univariate analysis, bivariate with Pearson and Chi-Square correlation tests, and multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression to evaluate the simultaneous influence of independent variables on employee productivity. The results showed that work ethic has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. Length of service has an effect on productivity, although the level of influence is lower than work ethic. Work facilities have a significant effect on productivity, indicating that the availability of adequate facilities can increase work effectiveness. Simultaneous analysis shows that work ethic, length of service, and facilities together affect employee productivity, with a coefficient of determination (R²) value indicating that these three variables are able to explain most of the variation in productivity. Efforts to increase productivity can be made by strengthening work ethic, optimizing length of service, and providing better facilities for employees.

The research population was 33 health workers. The sampling technique used is to include all health workers at the Pratama Nurjaya Clinic, namely by census. This type of research is quantitative research. The statistical instrument used was multiple regression analysis using validity, reliability and classical assumption tests. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an influence between workload (p = 0.022), work environment (p = 0.007) and work motivation (p = 0.030) on the work stress of health workers partially and it was found that there was no influence of individual factors (p = 0.343) on work stress. The most dominant factor affecting work stress is the work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work shifts on changes in vital signs of health workers at Amalia Medika Pelalawan Riau Hospital, including blood pressure, pulse frequency, body temperature, respiratory frequency, and oxygen saturation. The method used is verifiable quantitative research with a comparative design. The research population is all health workers who work with a shift system at Amalia Medika Pelalawan Riau Hospital as many as 26 people, who are used as samples with total sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed with the Chi-Square test to determine whether or not there was a correlation of work shifts on changes in vital signs. The results of the study showed that work shifts did not have a significant effect on changes in vital signs of health workers. The Chi-Square test on blood pressure produces an Asymp value. Sig 0.444, at a pulse frequency of 0.428, at a body temperature of 0.744, at a respiratory rate of 0.541, and at oxygen saturation of 0.838, are all greater than 0.05. These findings indicate that the difference in morning, noon, and night shifts did not cause significant changes in the vital signs of health workers at Amalia Medika Pelalawan Riau Hospital. This condition shows that the shift management implemented by hospitals relatively does not cause measurable physiological impairment in health workers, although other factors such as subjective fatigue or circadian rhythm disturbances still require attention.
