Abstract

Abstract : This study aimis to: Obtain acquaintance with the importance of Teaching Aids (T.A), and its role in teaching process; To get acquaintance with the problems that confront the using of Teaching Aids (T.A), in teaching Arabic language in Indonesia University of Education; Rising the qualification of the teachers, in employing the Teaching Aids (T.A), in teaching Arabic language; To achieve a futuristic view, that can be reflected in the Teaching Aids (T.A) program, of teaching Arabic language in Indonesia University of Education.The most important of these result are: Using the Teaching Aids (T.A), in teaching Arabic language, has a big role to make the teaching useful for non- Arabic language speakers, where as: (1) It makes the teacher to be an investigator and an executor, instead of to be a commentator and a narrator. (2) It assists to present, perform, control and verify the course in the education situation, as it saves time and sacrificed effort. (3) It brings up students motivation, and encourages them to interact and participate in the lesson, as it develops curiosity by the students. The course which includes Teaching Aids (T.A) will be exiting and understood. It is, no doubt, essential to prepare the teacher of Arabic language for non-native speakers, a professional prepare, according to the designing and using of the Teaching Aids, and drills him to use educational instruments, in order to be accompanying with the technology and the modern demands, and helpful to realize the desired aims.The existence of advanced Teaching Aids (T.A), and using it with suitable way in teaching Arabic language, will assist the teacher to arrive at the required goals in teaching Arabic language. Keywords : Teaching aids, and Teaching Arabic language.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation values in Islamic religious higher education in Garut, West Java. The primary focus of the research includes the integration of religious moderation values in the curriculum, the role of lecturers and education staff, student perceptions, as well as obstacles and challenges in implementing these values. Through a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis at several institutions, including STAI Musadaddiyah, STAI Muhammadiyah Garut, and STAI Siliwangi Garut. The results show that religious moderation is integrated through an Aswaja-based curriculum approach and rahmatan lil 'alamin, with lecturers and education personnel playing the role of facilitators in building tolerant and inclusive student characters. The main obstacles come from the influence of conservative ideologies, limited religious understanding among students, and challenges from social media. Strategies to overcome these obstacles include strengthening the curriculum, digital literacy training, and collaboration with external institutions. The findings are expected to make a positive contribution to the formation of a moderate generation that can apply the values of tolerance and inclusiveness in religious and social life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of the Islamic Religious Education Empowered Teachers in improving students' learning abilities at SMP Negeri 1 Garut, Indonesia. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with one Islamic Religious Education teacher and five students. The findings of the study show that the teacher plays an important role in creating a religious and supportive school environment through various spiritual programs, such as Dhuha prayers, routine Qur'an recitation, and congregational Zuhur prayers. Additionally, the teacher introduced an innovative environmental initiative, the "school waste collection movement," which encourages students to bring home at least one piece of trash every day to foster a sense of responsibility for environmental cleanliness. The teaching strategy applied reflects a holistic approach that assesses students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills, while also involving collaboration with other Islamic Religious Education teachers and the wider school community. Despite facing internal challenges, such as maintaining motivation and emotional stability, as well as external challenges such as low learning motivation and limited basic skills among students, the teacher is able to overcome these obstacles through reflective, empathetic, and collaborative approaches. This study concludes that the teacher's diverse contributions not only improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning but also support the overall development of students, demonstrating that religious education can have a broader impact on character development and environmental awareness.

Abstract

The notions of extremism and radicalism have penetrated the world of education; Public Higher Education is more vulnerable to radical movements due to the perspective that tends to see religious issues in black and white. Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam—PAI), taught to students as a primary subject, is an opportunity to shape students' attitudes toward religious moderation as the next generation. East Priangan has a historical burden (heritage) that Indonesia has ever faced; East Priangan is the basis of the Darul Islam Movement, which has the Indonesian Islamic Army (DI/TII) led by SM. Kartosuryo. The study aimed to describe and analyze the implementation of religious moderation values for higher education students in East Priangan, including the University of Garut, the Indonesian Institute of Education, and the Garut Institute of Technology. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the efforts of PAI lecturers in building students' attitudes of religious moderation through understanding the methodology of Islamic teaching, the substance of the PAI curriculum was directed at moderate character, the role models and attitudes of PAI lecturers, there were discussion rooms, Qur’anic learning programs, mentoring and coaching of student activity units, and evaluation. Building a philosophy of religious moderation is an effort for students to respect religious diversity and build student collective awareness at universities in East Priangan.

Abstract

This study investigated the pivotal role of education management in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (KM) within Madrasah institutions. Grounded in Terry's management functions theory, the research discerns both the facilitating factors and obstacles encountered during the curriculum implementation. Employing qualitative methodologies, including interviews with madrasah heads, teachers, and students, alongside curriculum document analysis, the study unfolds crucial insights. The findings underscore the indispensable nature of effective education management across the phases of planning, execution, and evaluation of the KM Supportive elements encompass stakeholder engagement, provision of adequate facilities, and the adoption of flexible learning methodologies. Conversely, significant challenges emerge, such as the imperative for enhanced comprehension of KM and the necessity for gradual readiness in its implementation. This research extends its contribution by delineating actionable strategies to surmount these obstacles, thereby furnishing guidance for madrasahs and other educational institutions in navigating KM implementation. These insights hold promise for enhancing the efficacy of curriculum deployment at the madrasah level, while also paving the way for further exploration within the Indonesian educational landscape.

Abstract

Technological changes and modernization in various sectors today are so rapid, that they affect human behavior in various ways. Technology on the one hand has a positive impact on people's lives, but on the other hand, technology also hurts society. Along with the development of technology, the need for plastic continues to increase. Plastic is also an artificial inorganic material composed of chemicals that are quite harmful to the environment and health. The purpose of this service is to increase the productivity skills of mothers in Sukamentri Village by providing safer bags made from nature to replace plastic items and utilize plastic waste with varied crafts. The method used is (Participatory Action Research) (PAR) is a research method carried out in a participatory manner among citizens in a lower-level community whose spirit is to encourage transformative actions to liberate society from the shackles of ideology and power relations (changes in better living conditions). The results of the Pangabdian activity were carried out well and received a positive response, this was seen from the enthusiasm of the participants by arriving on time, and the understanding of mothers about the dangers of using plastic waste increased. The increase in understanding is evidenced by the results of the pre-test before the delivery of the material and the post-test after the delivery of the material which shows the Mean with a result of 0.252 is positive, which means an increase after being given treatment. This activity is also aimed at improving the skills of mothers in processing waste waste, especially plastic waste with ecobrick techniques and minimizing the use of plastic for daily purposes. The resulting products are expected to improve the community's economy and provide positive activities for the group of mothers in Majlis Ta'lim Al-Farizi.

Abstract

The majority of the population in Bandung is almost Muslim. On the other hand, the people of this region are of different ethnicities and religions that deal with each other in their daily lives. However, this situation of the religious life between Muslims and nonMuslims in Bandung is harmonious. If it is not properly managed, new problems with social stability may arise, and therefore living together in religious life in Bandung City should be maintained to promote social solidarity. Thus, this research came as a serious way to find points that are likely to be involved in the process of communication between different religions, to be carried out by scientists, experts and socialists while applying. This means that if the conditions prevailing in life are consistent or found problems among the Muslims themselves, and other religious people. the solution of these problems is concentrated in one of the potential sites, and this study works to create social communication through linguistic communication using the language of religiosity (religious terms). The data collection was taken through personal interview, observation and study of documents, and the number of persons examined in the interview reached thirteen people from all the religious leaders who are considered by their community scientists.

Abstract

Religious moderation plays a crucial role in maintaining social harmony by promoting tolerance, inclusivity, and balance in religious practices. This study aims to analyze management strategies for implementing religious moderation in schools to foster social harmony. The research employs the Narrative Literature Review (NLR) method by selecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant studies on religious moderation strategies in school environments. The research process includes topic selection, reference searching, source selection based on thematic relevance and quality, and narrative synthesis of findings. The results identify three key strategies for managing religious moderation in schools: (1) integrating religious moderation into the school curriculum, (2) strengthening an inclusive and tolerant school culture, and (3) enhancing educators' capacity in religious moderation education. These strategies aim to instill tolerance, respect for diversity, and prevent the spread of extremist ideologies among students. The findings highlight the importance of comprehensive policy implementation to strengthen religious moderation in education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, serta hambatan dan solusi dari metode pembelajaran mim-mem (mimicry memorization) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa arab siswa di MTs. Daarul Ulum. Jenis penelian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif analisis. Pengumpulan data menggunakan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian antara lain: pertama, perencanaan pembelajaran bahasa arab menggunakan metode mim-mem (mimicry memorization). Kedua, pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran Mim-Mem (mimicry memorization) pada pembelajaran bahasa arab. Ketiga, mengevaluasi metode pembelajaran mim-mem (mimicry memorization) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa arab siswa. Keempat, menganalisis hambatan dan solusi dari metode pembelajaran ini. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa penggunaan metode mim-mem (mimicry memorization) ini efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab dalam meningkakan keterampilan berbicara siswa

Abstract

Pendidikan tidak hanya upaya penguasaan dalam bidang akademik semata, namun Pendidikan diharapkan berkembang menjadi manusia yang mandiri, bertanggung jawab, kreatif, berpengetahuan, sehat, dan berakhlak mulia. Salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan adalah pembentukan karakter atau “character building”. Dalam menerapkan Pendidikan karakter, terdapat beberapa nilai karakter yang harus ditanamkan pada peseta didik diantaranya religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan atau nasionalisme, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, penuli lingkungan, peduli sosial dan tangung jawab. Sedangkan Pendidikan karakter perspektif Pendidikan islam adalah pembentukan karakter peserta didik untuk menjadijadi peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini berjutuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Pendidikan islam, mengetahui nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam Q.S Yusuf ayat 90 dan mengetahui relevansi antara nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Pendidikan islam dengan kandungan Q.S Yusuf ayat 90. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan fokus penelitian pada nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter dalam Q.S Yusuf ayat 90. Sumber data yang dugunakan menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengempulan data menggunakan studi kepustakaan, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini tentang nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter dalam Q.S. bawa dalam ayat 90 ini terkandung nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter yang di terapkan di sekolah diantaranya kesabaran, santun, taqwa dan pemaaf. Beberapa nilai Pendidikan karakter tersebut relevan dengan tujuan Pendidikan national yaitu taqwa dan beriman kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, religius, berakhlak mulia.
