Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar dan self-regulated learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Makassar dengan jumlah 280 peserta didik, sedangkan sampelnya sebanyak 98 peserta didik yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner minat belajar, kuesioner self-regulated learning, dan dokumentasi hasil belajar matematika. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar dan self-regulated learning secara bersama-sama berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 17 Makassar

Abstract

The study aims to find out the suitability of the mathematics teachers’ lesson plan with the 2013 curriculum, the mathematics teachers’ learning implementation with the 2013 curriculum, and the lesson plan with the mathematics teacher’s learning activities with the 2013 curriculum. The study used descriptive research with qualitative approach. The research subjects were 3 mathematics teachers of class X in the State Senior High School (SMAN) 11 Makassar. The documentation, observation sheet, and interview guidelines were the instruments used in this study. The analysis results of the lesson plan with the learning activities based on the 2013 curriculum in accordance with the cultural and education ministry regulation number 22 of the year 2016 about the Elementary and Secondary Education Standard Processes showed that the suitability of those three mathematics teachers’ lesson plans with the learning implementation of the 2013 curriculum was categorized as very high with the percentage of 94.44%, the suitability of the learning implementation in SMAN 11 Makassar at class X with the learning implementation of the 2013 curriculum was categorized as high with the percentage of 81.68%, and the suitability of the lesson plan with the learning implementation based on the 2013 curriculum in SMAN 11 Makassar at class X was categorized as low with the percentage of 62.17%. The study finding also indicated that there was unsuitability between the lesson plan and the mathematics teachers’ learning implementation of the 2013 curriculum at class X of SMAN 11 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to understand mathematical concepts and to determine the inhibiting factors of street children in completing the ability test for understanding mathematical concepts in number operations material. This study uses a qualitative method by selecting several informants who are street children from the Adiyaksa Development Class. Data collection was done by giving the informant a concept understanding ability test, and interviews. The data were analyzed by being reduced, then presented and then drawing conclusions. The results of the study based on the test results of 5 student respondents, it was found that respondents coded 01 and 05 got a score of 100. These results indicate that the two students have understood the material for number operations well. However, the other three respondents, namely respondents coded 02 and 03 each with a test score of 60 and respondents coded 04 obtained a test result of 80. Based on the results of interviews with the three respondents, it was found that they had difficulty performing number operations on numbers big. The inhibiting factors for the ability to understand the concept of number operation material in street children in the Adiyaksa fostered class Makassar are 1) the unavailability of learning media in the form of counting aids, 2) the busyness of students as street children, namely helping their parents in earning a living, and 3) lack of schedule for math subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the content of the mathematics textbook based on indicators in a scientific approach. This research is a descriptive study that describes or explains systematically the facts or characteristics of a particular population. The procedure in this study consisted of: (1) the preparation stage, by selecting the revised 2017 edition of the 2017 high school senior high school mathematics textbook, (2) conducting a literature study to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook was based on a scientific approach, (3) drawing conclusions from the data obtained. has been obtained. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the quality of the mathematics textbooks is obtained in each chapter, namely in Chapter 1 as much as 60%, Chapter II as much as 70%, Chapter III as much as 50%, Chapter IV as much as 60%. As for the total number of chapters in textbooks based on a scientific approach as much as 60%. So it can be concluded that the quality of mathematics textbooks for class X 2013 curriculum based on the scientific approach is included in the sufficient category with the implementation of indicators in the scientific approach.

Abstract

This study aims to produce explorative mathlet learning media based on adobe flash CS6 with Islamic nuances on the linear equation system with three variables material and to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The type of research used is research and development concerning the development model of Alessi and Trollip. The stages of multimedia development consist of: (1) the planning stage, (2) the design stage, and (3) the development stage. The test subjects in this study were students of class X MA Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao. The instruments in this study were expert validation sheets, observation sheets on the implementation of the device, student response questionnaires, student activity observation sheets, and learning achievement tests. The results showed that the explorative mathlet learning media based on adobe flash CS6 with Islamic nuances on the linear equation system with three variables material met the valid, practical, and effective criteria. Thus, the results of this study imply that learning media can be used as an alternative to improving students learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan sosialisasi penerapan dua model pembelajaran yaitu model course review horay dan model make a match dalam pembelajaran matematika. Populasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 26 Makassar yang berjumlah 278 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Sampel kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-1 dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen1 sedangkan kelas VII-3 dengan jumlah 31 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa berupa tes essai. Data diolah menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Abstract This dedication activity aims to provide socialization for applying two learning models, namely the course review horay model and the make a match model in mathematics learning. The population in this service activity was all students of class VII SMP Negeri 26 Makassar, totalling 278 students. The sampling technique used was a simple random sampling technique. The sample of this service activity was class VII-1 students with 30 students selected as the experimental class1 while class VII-3 with 31 people as the experimental class 2. The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes was in the form of an essay test. The data were processed using descriptive analysis.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini diarahkan untuk mensosialisasikan penerapan model Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) di MTs. Madani Alauddin Pao-pao. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seorang guru dan 27 orang siswa kelas VIII MTs. Madani Alauddin Pao-pao. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar siswa dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif yakni rata-rata, kategorisasi hasil belajar matematika, standar deviasi dan koefisien varians relatif. Capaian dari kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan pendekatan RME cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VIII MTs. Madani Alauddin.

Abstract

This service research aims to introduce scientific publications to participants in order to understand the form of scientific publications. Service research activities carried out by lecturers and students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in the form of socialization which took place face-to-face at the As'adiyah Sengkang Islamic Boarding School, involving 21 MTs / MAS As'adiyah Sengkang teachers. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire through google form, then the data obtained is analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this service research are considered useful, especially in the personal and professional lives of participants, and after participating in the socialization, participants will conduct research and publications.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine teacher certification's effect on teacher performance at MTs Negeri Model Makassar. This research is a type of quantitative research with an ex-post facto approach. The study population consisted of all 70 certified teachers at MTs Negeri Model Makassar, with a total sample of 25 teachers. The instruments used by researchers in this study were documentation and scales as primary instruments and interview guidelines as secondary instruments. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the relationship between teacher certification and teacher performance is in the moderate category. Thus, it was concluded that there was an influence between teacher certification on performance at MTs Negeri Model Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of cooperative learning models of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Group Investigation (GI) types of learning outcomes for class X students of SMAN 8 Gowa. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class X MIPA which were divided into 7 classes. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instrument used is a student learning achievement test, which is divided into pretest and posttest. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS, it shows the results of calculating the Sig. = 0.178> α = 0.05 which means H_0 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in learning outcomes between the cooperative learning models of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) and Group Investigation (GI) types on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 8 Gowa.
