Abstract

Pemberlakuan Permendikbud No. 22 tahun 2016 tentang Standar Proses memberikan konsekuensi adanya pergeseran paradigma pengajaran ke pembelajaran, penggunaan pendekatan scientific, dan tematik sehingga perlu diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis masalah serta guru diharuskan memiliki literasi teknologi. Namun kenyataan di lapangan berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan dilakukan di beberapa SD Gugus Drupadi Gunungpati Semarang, ditemukan perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan masih belum sesuai dengan standar proses dan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru masih jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan teknologi modern mengakibatkan peserta didik kurang aktif dan hasil belajar kurang maksimal. Solusi yang diterapkan adalah dengan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran model PBL bervisi SETS berbantuan Miracast. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan mengacu model 4-D dari Thiagarajan tetapi dibatasi pada tahap develop. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, efektif, dan praktis (applicable) serta sesuai standar proses. Subjek uji coba adalah 42 peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sadeng 02, dan 03. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, pengamatan, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi tiga orang ahli terhadap perangkat pembelajaran telah memenuhi kriteria valid. Perangkat pembelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji N-gain didapat nilai gain <g> sebesar 0,48 dalam kategori sedang dan peningkatan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar dari pretest 56 menjadi 77 pada saat posttest. Hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik menunjukkan rata-rata skor 33 berada pada ketegori sangat tinggi. Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran terlihat dari respons sangat positif yang diberikan guru dan peserta didik terhadap perangkat pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diketahui perangkat pembelajaran sudah memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif, dan praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis pengembangan atau R&D (research & development) dengan model ADDIE yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi perilaku bullying atau perundungan pada siswa kelas V SD Islam Al-Azhar 29. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik nontes dan tes. Teknik nontes dilakukan dengan observasi, angket dan wawancara. Sedangkan teknik tes dilakukan dengan pretest dan posttest. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jenis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi oleh tiga orang ahli terhadap media komik digital yang dikembangkan menunjukkan bahwa media sudah memenuhi kriteria valid. Media pembelajaran ini efektif untuk mengurangi terjadinya perilaku perundungan atau bullying yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil observasi sikap terkait perilaku bullying pada siswa dimana semula sebelum penggunaan media komik digital, perilaku siswa menunjukkan rata-rata perolehan skor 1,85 yang tergolong dalam predikat perilaku cukuo dan setelah penggunaan media komik digital terdapat peningkatan rata-rata perolehan skor 3,43 yang tergolong dalam predikat perilaku baik. Media komik digital juga efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji n gain diperoleh nilai gain <g> sebesar 0,57 dalam kategori cukup efektif serta peningkatan rata-rata perolehan nilai pretest 57 menjadi 77 pada saat posttest. Dari hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa komik digital berbasis karakter dapat mengurangi perilaku perundungan atau bullying pada siswa kelas V SD Islam Al-Azhar 29 serta valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada siswa kelas V SD Islam Al-Azhar 29.

Abstract

Social studies learning can run effectively and efficiently with the support of creative and innovative media. Based on pre-research data at SDN 1 Pegulon, a problem was found in the form of the use of learning media that was not optimal, especially in the use of technology, most students passive and affecting low learning outcomes. The study population was 49 students consisting of 43 students of SDN 1 Pegulon and 6 students of SDN Pagerdawung. This study aims to develop, test the feasibility and test the effectiveness of video-assisted QR-Code-based Ritatoon media in the social studies content of grade V SDN 1 Pegulon. The type of research is research and development with the development model, namely Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and non-tests. The results showed that the media developed was very feasible as evidenced by the assessment of media experts with a percentage of 100% and material experts of 85.71%. Effective media to improve student learning outcomes is shown from the results of the t-test with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000<0.05 and the N-gain average increase test of 0.557 with moderate criteria. The media received positive responses from teachers by 89.7% and students by 87%. The conclusion of this study is that video-assisted QR-Code-based ritatoon media is very feasible and effective to use in learning social studies in grade V.

Abstract

Javanese language as one of the local content will run effectively if supported by innovative learning media and can attract students' attention. Based on the results of pre-research data at SDN 01 Pucakwangi, it has been found that the problem of using learning media has not attracted students' attention and the media seems monotonous only using books and pictures. This problem results in many students not having the skills to read and write Javanese characters so that from student learning outcomes there are still many students who have not reached the KKM. This study aims to develop, test the feasibility, and effectiveness of Javanese folklore-based mnopoli learning media to improve reading and writing skills of Javanese script in Javanese learning content of Javanese script material in class IV SDN 01 Pucakwangi. This study uses the type of research and development with the Borg and Gall development model. The results of this study indicate that Javanese folklore-based monopoly media is very feasible with a percentage value from material experts of 100% and a percentage of media experts of 95%. This learning media is effective in reading and writing Javanese script skills based on the t-test. The t-test conducted on both skills obtained the same results, namely sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. The results of student responses obtained a percentage of 93.5%. Then based on the results of the N-gain test on Javanese reading skills, namely 0.51 and writing skills of 0.54 in the medium category. The conclusion of this study is that Javanese folklore-based monopoly media is feasible and effective to use to improve reading and writing skills of Javanese characters.

Abstract

The present study investigates the efficacy of flipbook-based electronic teaching materials as an alternative to traditional government-provided materials in elementary schools, which have been found to yield unsatisfactory learning outcomes. The study draws inspiration from the work of Borg and Gall and was conducted at Srondol Wetan 06 Public Elementary School, Semarang City, during the 2022/2023 school year. The study population consisted of 34 students, with a small-scale trial involving eight students in class VA, and a large-scale trial involving 26 students in class VB. Data collection methods included pre-test post-test assessments, observations, questionnaires, interviews, and data documentation. The results indicate high feasibility in terms of media aspect (83) and material criteria (69), with linguistic analysis yielding a feasibility score of 45. Furthermore, the effectiveness analysis showed a moderate N-gain score of 0.658, indicating improved learning outcomes, and student response questionnaires yielded a very positive score of 256. The result of t-test sig 0.000 there is a difference between pretest and posttest. These findings lead to the conclusion that flipbook-based electronic teaching materials are both feasible and effective for enhancing student learning outcomes in class V at SDN Srondol Wetan 06.

Abstract

The use of learning models and media that are outside the 2013 curriculum has an impact on the low learning outcomes of students. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping learning model assisted by Microsoft Sway media on social studies learning outcomes. This study used a quantitative experimental approach with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study was 116 students in the fifth grade of elementary school. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling involving 60 students, 30 students in the experimental and 30 in the control classes—data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include initial data analysis by normality and homogeneity tests and final data analysis by t-test and N-Gain tests. The t-test results obtained a sig value of 0.004, less than 0.05. So that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is supported by the results of the N-Gain test for the experimental class of 0.418 and the control class of 0.260. The Mind Mapping learning model assisted by Microsoft Sway media is more effective in increasing the activity and learning outcomes of students in social studies subjects in fifth-grade elementary schools.

Abstract

Enactment of Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning Process Standards implies a shift in the teaching paradigm to a learning paradigm, the use of a scientific approach (scientific), and an integrated thematic so that it is necessary to apply problem-based learning. However, the reality on the ground is different. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted in the Ganesha Windusari Cluster, Magelang consisting of 50 elementary school teachers and located on the slopes of Mount Sumbing, it shows that approximately 80% of teachers (or about 40 teachers) still have difficulty implementing disclosure-based learning/research in the classroom, especially in the manufacture of learning tools that contain the cultivation of attitudes or character values ​​in accordance with process standards. The solution that can be applied is the provision of training activities for the Implementation of the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) Learning Model with Six Pillars of Character. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training to elementary school teachers in the Ganesha Group in implementing the IBL model containing the six pillars of character in learning in elementary school. The method of this service activity is in the form of training for elementary school teachers in the Dewadaru II Cluster. The training methods used in this service are: lecture, question and answer, practice, and simulation. This training activity was attended by 38 teachers of SD Gugus Ganesha with the training location at SDN Banjarsari, Windusari District, Magelang. The outputs resulting from this training activity are an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers as indicated by: 1) the composition of 30 learning tools with the IBL model containing the six pillars of character; 2) an increase in the average post-test result (75.4) compared to the average pre-test result (32.6); 3) 25 out of 38 participants gave a very positive response to the quality of the training materials and 13 participants gave a positive response with an average score of 4.66.

Abstract

Social studies learning still needs to be more optimal. This problem is motivated by the need for more relevant learning media. This results in students tending to be passive and affecting learning outcomes, which are still low. This research aims to develop 3-dimensional diorama media for social studies lesson content in elementary school classes. This type of research is in the form of research and development, the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection techniques include tests and non-tests in the form of observations, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaires and test questions. Data analysis techniques use product data analysis, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test data analysis, paired t-test, and N-Gain test. The research results show that 3-dimensional diorama media is suitable for use with a percentage of media expert assessment of 81.25% and material experts of 94.4%. The t-test results show that the media used is effective in learning to improve social studies learning outcomes on the content of National Events Around the Proclamation of Independence. The N-Gain test results show an increase in social studies learning outcomes. It was concluded that 3-dimensional diorama media was effective and suitable for social studies learning. The research implication is that 3-dimensional diorama media can be used to improve social studies learning outcomes for students.

Abstract

Keterbatasan guru memanfaatkan media dalam pembelajaran, mengakibatkan siswa merasa jenuh dan kurang tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran. Sehingga membuat situasi kelas tidak kondusif dan akhirnya berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menciptakan media ular tangga berbasis budaya pada muatan pelajaran PPKn Kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan menerapkan prosedur menurut Borg and Gall yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 40 siswa kelas V SD. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil uji kelayakan pada ahli media dan ahli materi mendapatkan kategori sangat layak.  Hasil uji keefektifan pada guru dan siswa juga mendapatkan kategori sangat layak. Selain itu, uji keefektifan terbukti terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai siswa. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ular tangga berbasis budaya terbukti sangat layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran PPKn kelas V SD khususnya pada materi keberagaman sosial budaya masyarakat. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran lebih memudahkan siswa dalam memperoleh pemahaman dan memotivasi siswa untuk belajar sehingga mendapatkan hasil belajar yang baik.

Abstract

One of the prevalent issues faced by students in the IPAS subject is the utilization of monotonous media, resulting in lower learning outcomes. This research aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of SmartBox media assisted by audio for the IPAS subject, specifically focusing on the topic of animal life cycles. Employing the Borg and Gall method, this study falls under the category of research and development with the research sample consisting of 27 students. The data collection techniques encompassed observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and document analysis. The evaluation results from expert validators in both content and media fields revealed scores of 98% and 92%, respectively, indicating a highly suitable categorization. Moreover, the media garnered positive responses from both students and teachers. Additionally, the developed media demonstrated its effectiveness in enhancing learning outcomes, as evidenced by a t-test result with a Sig. value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference between pretest and post-test data. This finding is supported by an n-gain score of 0.44, classified as moderate, signifying an increase in the average results of pretest and post-test using the audio-assisted SmartBox learning media. In conclusion, the SmartBox learning media with audio assistance for the IPAS subject on animal life cycles is deemed highly appropriate, effective, and valid for implementation in the teaching process, as it effectively improves student learning outcomes.
