Abstract

Abstract

Learning models and media that are less in accordance with Permendikbudristek Number 16 of 2022 concerning Process Standards have an impact on low learning outcomes. This study examines the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by augmented reality (AR) on the learning outcomes of grade V science students at SD Gugus Kenanga, Songgom District, Brebes Regency. This type of research is experimental research with a Quasi Experiment design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques were in the form of test techniques (pretest and posttest); non-test techniques, namely observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Initial data analysis techniques included normality and homogeneity tests and final data analysis with t-tests and N-Gain. The output of the t-test was in the form of sig. of 0.000 (sig. <0.05), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The N-Gain test output of the experimental class is 0.60 and the control class is 0.32. In conclusion, the AR-assisted PBL model is effective and has a higher average increase compared to the teacher-assisted PBL model with image media on the learning outcomes of class V science science at SD Gugus Kenanga, Songgom District, Brebes Regency.

Abstract

Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level still faces a number of challenges that affect the achievement of student learning outcomes. This study was conducted using a research and development (R&D) method based on the Borg and Gall model with the aim of developing and testing the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of e-learning materials assisted by augmented reality (AR). Researchers collected data using test techniques (pretest-posttest) and non-tests in the form of observations, interview results, surveys and document data. The e-learning materials assisted by AR developed by researchers obtained very feasible criteria results from material, media and language validator experts. E-learning materials assisted by AR have proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, as seen from the increase in the average score between the pretest and posttest achieved by students so that a high N-gain score of 0.76 can be obtained. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses given, very positive responses can be obtained from teachers and students. From these results, it can be concluded that AR-based e-teaching materials are declared feasible and practical to use and effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of science with the topic of the circulatory system in class V of SD Negeri Ngaliyan 03

Abstract

The implementation of learning models that are not in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Regulation Number 16 of 2022 concerning Process Standards, as well as not maximizing the integration of technology media into learning, has an impact on low student learning outcomes. This study examines the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Augmented Reality compared to the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by images on the learning outcomes of Class V Science at SD Negeri Gugus Budi Utomo. This type of research is experimental research with a Quasi-Experimental Design research design in the form of Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Data analysis techniques included initial data analysis with normality and homogeneity tests and final data analysis with independent sample t-test and N-Gain tests. The hypothetical results of the independent sample t-test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.032 and 0.034 (sig. <0.05), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This is reinforced by the results of the N-Gain test of the experimental class of 0.430 (moderate) and the control class of -.004 (low). It can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Augmented Reality is more effective than the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by images on the learning outcomes of Science Class V of SD Negeri Gugus Budi Utomo.

Abstract

Learning (IPAS) in elementary schools has many obstacles and shortcomings. This study is an R&D study referring to the Borg and Gall model with the aim of testing the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of e-book media assisted by augmented reality (AR). Data collection was carried out using test techniques (pretest and posttest) and non-tests in the form of observations, interviews, surveys, and document data. Feasibility is shown from the results of the validation test by expert validators in language, materials, and media showing that the AR-assisted e-book media has met the criteria that are very feasible. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, it shows that the AR-assisted e-book media is effective in improving student understanding with an increase in the average pretest and posttest scores shown from the T-test results showing a value of 0.001, and the N-gain test results obtained 0.85. Practicality is shown from the results of the teacher and student response questionnaire which received very positive responses from teachers and students. The data shows that AR-assisted e-book media is practical, feasible, and effective in improving understanding of the human respiratory system material in class V of SD Negeri Karangjati 04.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of students are caused by the inconsistency of the learning model and media with Permendikbudristek Number 16 of 2022 concerning Process Standards. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) compared to the PBL (teacher version) model assisted by image media on the learning outcomes of grade IV science students of SD Gugus Lokantara, Temanggung District, Temanggung Regency. This type of research is an experiment with a quasi-experimental research design in the form of a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques were in the form of test techniques (pretest and posttest); non-test techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include initial data analysis with normality test and homogeneity test and final data analysis with t-test and N-Gain test. From the t-test results obtained sig. value of 0.002 (<0.05) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The output of the N-Gain test of the experimental class is 0.68 and the control class is 0.50. In conclusion, the PBL model assisted by AR is effective and has a higher average increase in learning outcomes compared to the PBL model (teacher version) assisted by image media in science learning for grade IV SD Gugus Lokantara, Temanggung District, Temanggung Regency.
