Abstract

this study is motivated by the current symptoms of moral decline, such as poor communication occurs among vulnerable adolescents with emotional traits. Many facts in society prove that wrong or incorrect communication will give birth to various immoral behaviors, fights, brawls, and various negative things that arise due to communication that does not care about ethics. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods. The method of data collection in this study used in-depth interviews and supported by observation and documentation data. The results of this study indicate that: planting the value of communication ethics in the four MTs Banjar has been done through polite, courtesies, and greetings, both inside and outside the madrasah. So that it becomes a daily habit with the aim to improve the morale, and mental learners but not maximal. Therefore, instilling an understanding of communication ethics to students is very important so that they know how good communication ethics when communicating in terms of behaving and speaking appropriately.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher social support on students’ academic hardiness at SMPN 2 Sindue Tobata. The research employed a descriptive, quantitative approach with saturated sampling, involving all 108 students enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using validated Likert-scale questionnaires on teacher social support and academic hardiness, both of which demonstrated good reliability (α = 0.944 and α = 0.780). Data analysis employed descriptive statistics and simple linear regression using SPSS version 27. The findings revealed that 95.4% of students perceived high levels of teacher social support, and 71.3% exhibited very high academic hardiness. Regression results indicated a positive and significant influence of teacher social support on academic hardiness (t = 3.885, p < 0.05), with a regression coefficient of 0.460. These results suggest that increased social support from teachers enhances students’ ability to manage academic stress, remain committed, and view learning challenges as opportunities for growth. The study underscores the importance of strengthening teacher–student relationships to foster resilience and motivation in learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the levels of fear of failure and quarter-life crisis and to determine whether there is a relationship between fear of failure and quarter-life crisis among final-year students majoring in Education at Tadulako University. The population in this study consisted of 774 final-year students majoring in Education at Tadulako University in the 2022 cohort, and the research sample comprised 89 students, as determined by the Slovin formula. Simple random sampling was used to collect the sample. Pearson’s product-moment correlation was used to analyse the data in this study. The results of the analysis indicate that the fear of failure falls into the low category, with 36% (32 students), while the quarter-life crisis is categorized as high, with 38% (34 students). The correlation coefficient reveals a significant positive relationship between the fear of failure behaviour and the quarter-life crisis (r = 0.766, p < 0.05), indicating that as the fear of failure behaviour increases, the quarter-life crisis also increases, and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of group counseling using finger painting games to improve the social interaction of children with special needs (ABK) in inclusive secondary schools. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining quantitative analysis (Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test) and qualitative analysis (observations and interviews). The participants were seven students categorized as borderline. Quantitative results demonstrated a significant increase in social interaction scores (p < 0.05), which was supported by qualitative observations of increased cooperation, communication, and participation. The findings suggest that incorporating finger painting activities into group counseling offers a fun, creative, and effective approach to enhancing social interaction among children with special needs in inclusive settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan layanan konseling kelompok Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) dalam meningkatkan regulasi emosi pada siswa. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 12 orang siswa yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri dari 6 orang sampel dan kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 6 orang sampel. Jenis analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji Mann Whiney hasil analisis data sebelum diberikan konseling kelompok Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) menunjukkan 5 orang siswa berada pada klasifikasi rendah sedangkan 1 orang siswa berada pada klasifikasi sangat rendah dan Sesudah diberikan konseling kelompok Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) menunjukkan 6 orang siswa berada pada klasifikasi tinggi. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Mann Whiney menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi atau Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,004 yang berarti bahwa nilai signifikansi < 0,005. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat dibuktikan bahwa konseling kelompok Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) efektif untuk meningkatkan regulasi emosi siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan adanya peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sausu setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel berjumlah 8 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan tingkat komunikasi interpersonal yang tergolong rendah. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket komunikasi interpersonal yang telah divalidasi, kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik nonparametrik Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05) untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa sebelum mengikuti layanan, sebanyak 6 siswa (VR, VT, WI, IP, DA, NR) berada pada klasifikasi komunikasi interpersonal rendah, 1 siswa berinisial NS berada pada klasifikasi sangat rendah, dan 1 siswa berinisial YS berada pada klasifikasi sedang. Setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing, terjadi peningkatan pada 5 siswa (NS, WI, VR, IP, VT) yang menunjukkan kategori meningkat, sedangkan 3 siswa lainnya (DA, NR, YS) berada pada kategori tetap. Hasil uji inferensial juga mendukung temuan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor sebelum dan sesudah layanan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik role playing dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Sausu. Temuan ini memperkuat bahwa model layanan tersebut dapat menjadi alternatif strategi bimbingan yang aplikatif dan relevan dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi sosial mereka.
