Abstract

Dyslexia is a disorder in the left brain's nervous system, which is crucial for identifying strephosymbolia to process meaning that will be used for reading, writing, and communication. Although dyslexia is a disorder that hinders normal learning processes, various interventions can be done to address the disorder. The purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding to researchers, prospective researchers, parents, and experts about the methods, measures, subjects, and approaches used by previous researchers related to interventions that can be given to dyslexic children. The focus of this research is on significant improvement and intelligent adaptation for future research design. This article adopts a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research method. A literature review serves as the initial foundation to assist further research in the future to find information related to the topic to be studied and to avoid errors and benefit from their experience. The database used in the literature search is Harzing's Publish or Perish with online database sources from Google Scholar and Scopus. The search was done using several keywords in Indonesian and English separately, including 1) "Disleksia and Intervensi," and 2) "Dyslexia and Intervention." The search yielded 140 articles. After selection, coding, extraction, and analysis, only 13 articles met the criteria for analysis using the SLR method. All articles discussing this issue have a positive impact on addressing the disorders experienced by people with dyslexia. Proper management and continuous treatment processes are key to successfully implementing interventions. The findings imply that successful dyslexia interventions require a tailored approach that considers each child's unique needs and response to treatment. Furthermore, this study highlights the need for ongoing support and adaptive strategies to ensure the long-term effectiveness of these interventions, thereby enabling children with dyslexia to achieve improved literacy and communication skills over time.

Abstract

Stunting is a complex problem that is influenced by various factors. This research aims to understand the challenges in stunting prevention in the Pangalengan area and explore potential solutions. Through a qualitative case study, this research found that lack of parental knowledge, limited access to nutritious food, and poor environmental conditions are the main challenges. Community-based interventions, such as workshops and mentoring, can be an effective solution. However, stronger policy support is needed to address the issue as a whole. This study concludes that stunting prevention requires a multisectoral and sustainable approach.

Abstract

This community service activity examines parental involvement in early detection of child development through Posyandu services in Margamukti Village, Pangalengan District. Using a qualitative approach involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews, data was collected from two informants who regularly visit Posyandu. The results showed that Posyandu plays an important role in supporting early detection of child development, especially in monitoring weight, height and nutritional status. However, there are gaps in parents' understanding of certain developmental indicators, such as speech milestones and emotional regulation. Informants emphasized the importance of Posyandu services but also highlighted the need for more in-depth education on child development. Challenges include low health literacy among some parents and limited understanding of early detection practices. Recommendations include personalized counseling through a door-to-door approach and increased education programs led by Posyandu cadres to bridge this gap. This activity underscores the importance of parental engagement and targeted education efforts to ensure optimal child development outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya kasus pernikahan muda dan anak usia dini yang rentan terkena kekerasan seksual. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh kesiapan dan pengetahuan orang memasuki dunia pernikahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, pemahaman, penyadaran, penerapan dan kendala dari orang tua muda terhadap pendidikan seks untuk Generasi Alpha (Anak usia dini). Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan analisis data Thematic Analysis Data, dan partisipan orang tua muda yang mempunyai anak usia dini. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada partisipan sebanyak 3 orang di Kecamatan Purwakarta. Dari hasil wawancara, 1 dari 3 orang tua muda di Kecamatan Purwakarta mempunyai pemahaman terhadap pendidikan seks yang baik. Hasil menujukkan, 2 dari 3 subjek penelitian orang tua muda terhadap pendidikan seks belum baik, hanya ada 1 dari 3 orang tua muda yang memiliki pengetahuan, pemahaman serta menerapkan dengan baik pendidikan seks kepada anaknya. Kendala dalam penerapan pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini adalah hambatan dalam komunikasi antar orang tua dengan anak. Jadi, pemahaman orang tua muda terhadap pendidikan seks tidak merata di Kecamatan Purwakarta, terbukti hanya ada 1 dari 3 orang tua muda yang memahami, menyadari dan menerapkan dengan baik pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab stunting pada anak usia dini serta merumuskan upaya pencegahannya di Desa Margamukti, Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa stunting di desa tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti kurangnya asupan gizi yang seimbang, infeksi berulang akibat sanitasi yang buruk, rendahnya kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga, serta kurangnya optimalisasi dalam praktik pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MPASI). Selain itu, pemahaman orang tua mengenai gizi seimbang dan pentingnya pola asuh yang baik masih bervariasi. Upaya pencegahan yang direkomendasikan meliputi edukasi tentang pentingnya gizi selama 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan, perbaikan sanitasi dan akses air bersih, serta peningkatan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan. Hasil ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam menyusun strategi efektif untuk menurunkan prevalensi stunting di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

The importance of teachers understanding of technology integration in early childhood education has become one of the key issues in today’s educational environment. The aim of this study is to explore teachers perceptions of the use of digital learning. The subjects of this research are the teachers and the owner of Bahtera Multiple Intelligence Preschool in Malaysia. The instruments used in this study are observation and interviews. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews related to digital learning. Data were analyzed using triangulation, coding, and data reduction methods, focusing on the identification of key themes from the interview transcripts. The results of the study indicate that teachers have diverse views on the effectiveness, ease of use, and challenges of digital learning. These perceptions are influenced by the availability of technological resources, training, and the teachers personal preferences regarding learning methods.

Abstract

Naturalist intelligence is a crucial aspect of early childhood development as it encourages children to recognize and directly interact with the natural environment. However, children's interaction with nature has declined due to the dominance of academic curricula and the increasing use of technology in learning, which limits environmental exploration and potentially hinders their cognitive and social development. Amid these challenges, it is essential to understand how learning strategies can be optimized to stimulate children's naturalist intelligence in a contextual manner that reflects the dynamics of field implementation, the challenges encountered, and the solutions adopted. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method using a case study approach. The research subjects were 12 students at Bahtera Multiple Intelligence Preschool, Malaysia. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation of learning activities involving children aged 3–4 years. The results indicate that nature exploration, messy play, and nature walks are effective approaches in stimulating naturalist intelligence. These strategies are supported by the use of indoor exploration spaces and nature-based materials as solutions to external constraints such as weather conditions and high exposure to digital technology among children. These findings contribute to the development of adaptive learning strategies tailored to the characteristics of naturalist intelligence in early childhood.

Abstract

Although the importance of character building in early childhood is widely recognized, practical strategies for integrating it into daily learning remain underexplored. This study aims to examine the integration of creative dance into Early Childhood Education (PAUD) as a structured approach to character development, explored through the lens of learning planning and evaluation. Creative dance, as part of the creative arts, offers a developmentally appropriate approach to fostering social, emotional, and moral competencies. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research involved PAUD teachers implementing creative dance across six learning stages: warming up, exploring, skill development, creating, forming, and presenting. Each stage was analyzed for its potential to cultivate character values, including discipline, responsibility, tolerance, self-confidence, and cooperation. The findings suggest that creative dance can effectively support character development when implemented through planning and continuous evaluation. Its success largely depends on teachers’ ability to align activities with children’s developmental needs. This study highlights the need for targeted teacher training and institutional support to optimize the potential of creative dance in early childhood character education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan maraknya kasus bullying dikalangan anak usia dini, seperti berita yang baru-baru ini terjadi menunjukan adanya anak usia dini sebagai pelaku dan korban bullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai efektivitas website learning apps untuk mencegah terjadinya perilaku bullying pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Single Subjek Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A’. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 6 orang anak yang menjadi korban dan pelaku bullying. Pada baseline-1 data yang diperoleh oleh keenam subjek berada pada kriteria tidak baik, pada fase intervensi perolehan data keenam subjek berada pada kriteria baik, dan pada fase baseline-2 perolehan data keenam subjek berada pada kriteria sangat baik. Data hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya peningkatan pemahaman anak mengenai pencagahan perlilaku bullying melalui penggunaan website learning apps yang telah diterapkan pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan psikologis merupakan salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap individu khususnya untuk anak usia dini. Akan tetapi masih minimnya stimulus yang didapatkan oleh anak, sehingga anak menjadi tidak bahagia dalam perjalanan perkembangannya karena anak usia dini merupakan masa emas (golden age), yang mudah menerima stimulasi untuk mengembangkan 6 aspek perkembangannya. Salah satunya yaitu dengan bermain sambil belajar seperti dengan menggunakan media flashcard. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh flashcard terhadap perkembangan kesejahteraan psikologis pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR) desain A-B-A. Subjek penelitian Anak usia Dini yang berumur 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 7 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesejahteraan psikologis pada anak usia 5-6 tahun sebelum diberikan perlakuan media flashcard termasuk kategori sedang dalam kesejahteraan psikologisnya dengan perolehan skor naik turun, hal ini terjadi karena terdapat pengaruh dari faktor luar. Sedangkan setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan media flashcard anak memperoleh skor sangat meningkat dengan kategori tinggi dalam kesejahteraan psikologisnya yaitu adanya kebahagiaan dalam proses perjalanan perkembangannya. Sehingga dengan adanya media flashcard ini mampu membantu menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.
