Abstract

Indonesian citizens in the border of Indonesia and Timor Leste, particularly in Humusu-Wini village, NTT and the Sakato-Nepane district Oecusse, East Timor. Although these two areas are separated by different status of the country, the communities there always interact and visit each other. This research aims to explain local wisdom which motivates social harmony in the Indonesian border community of Timor Leste. To achieve these objectives, this study prioritizes methods such as participant-observation or direct participatory observation, interviews, literature review, and documents. The conclusions in Humusu Wini village, Insana Utara district, East Nusa Tenggara. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the local wisdom "Doa Arwah" as one of the ties of kinship between citizens who are now in different countries or across countries, so as to create social harmony

Abstract

Interaksi sosial anak dengan orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring di Dusun Kampung Desa Kaloran Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung, dengan rumusan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana interaksi sosial anak dengan orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring di Dusun Kampung Desa Kaloran Kecamatan Kaloran Kabupaten Temanggung. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan adanya pademi virus covid-19 tatanan dalam bidang pendidikan menjadi berubah yang awalnya secara tatap muka, namun dengan adanya pandemi ini anak-anak belajar secara daring di rumah. Hal itulah yang mengubah pola interaksi sosial dalam proses pembelajaran, di sekolah anak berinteraksi sosial dengan guru, namun di rumah anak berinteraksi sosial dengan orang tua. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan interaksi sosial anak dengan orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah anak sekolah dasar yang berusia 8 tahun- 10 tahun dan orang tua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskrptif, dengan teknik yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara sebagai pengumpulan data. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori interaksi sosial. Interaksi sosial merupakan hubungan sosial yang didalamnya terjadi hubungan timbal dan saling mempengaruhi, mengubah, atau memperbaiki perilaku. Hasil penelitian secara umum dapat dijelaskan mengenai interaksi sosial antara anak dan orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring. Terjadi interaksi sosial yang harmonis antara anak dengan orang tua saat orang tua memberikan perhatian pada saat anak belajar secara daring. Terjadi juga interaksi sosial yang tidak harmonis antara anak dengan orang tua saat orang tua tidak memberikan perhatian pada saat anak belajar secara daring.

Abstract

Abstract:Being a pluralist community, Nias consists of not only the Nias ethnic group but also other ethnic groups, such as Tionghoa (Chinese), Padang, Batak and Javanese. Social harmony within the community is like no other ever found in other regions across Indonesia. Indeed, social harmony amongst the Nias community has been a very much interesting social fact for research and analysis. Has some sort of local wisdom been exercised as a social capital to create the social harmony within the life of this religious-pluralist community? A research on this was conducted in Kota Gunungsitoli by applying the descriptive-qualitative research. The research shows that their local wisdom of Banua dan fatalifus/em>ta, Emali dome si so ba lala, ono luo na so yomo, Sebua taideide sideideide mutayaig/em>and the fact that religious communites in this region have strong understanding and emphasize on their religious values are matters that heavily influence both the creation and the preservation of the social harmony within the community. Keyword :Social-harmony, Religious Pluralism, Cultural diversity, Nias, Banua dan fatalifus/em>ta

Abstract

The purpose of this stady is to explain the socialization activities of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Central Java to the public through public spaces with online media during the covid-19 pandemic. This study uses qualitative research methods with the type of explanatory research. Study found that the socialization of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Central Java during the covid-19 pandemic can still manage to carried out various activities. In carrying out socialization activities in the network, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Central Java cannot carry out face-to-face, the online settings of the activities prevent the Ombudsman from seeing whether the participants pay attention to the activities or not, this is an obstacle faced by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia  Representative of Central Java in socialization activities during the covid-19 pandemic. To conclude, the covid-19 pandemic affects the effectiveness of socialization activities carried out by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of Central Java.Keywords: Ombudsman; Covid-19 pandemic; Socialization AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kegiatan sosialisasi Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Jawa Tengah kepada masyarakat melalui ruang publik dengan media dalam jaringan selama pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Jawa Tengah selama pandemi covid-19 tetap dapat dilakukan dengan lancar dan berbagai kegiatan masih tetap dapat dilakukan. Dalam melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi dalam jaringan, Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Jawa Tengah tidak dapat melakukan kegiatan secara tatap muka, sehingga Ombudsman tidak dapat melihat secara langsung apakah masyarakat mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut dengan saksama atau tidak, hal tersebut menjadi kendala yang dihadapi oleh Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Jawa Tengah selama kegiatan sosialisasi saat pandemi covid-19. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pandemi covid-19 berpengaruh pada keefektifan dari kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Perwakilan Jawa Tengah.Kata Kunci: Ombudsman; Pandemi covid-19; Sosialisasi

Abstract

Amid the onslaught of foreign cultures, especially ready meals “fast food” causing further marginalization of the local culture. Building a community attitude to retaining local knowledge possessed, especially traditional food knows matching requires a very strong foundation on which the social capital. With the key issues above, this study aims to answer the main problem, that is explained about the role of social capital in the business Tahu Serasi in Kenteng, district Bandungan. This research used a qualitative approach and descriptive research method. The unit of observation is a businessman tahu serasi, marketeer tahu serasi, KUB, buyers and customers. The unit of analysis is the role of social capital in the business tahu serasi in the district Bandungan. Results of research on business know matching is the dimension of cooperation and trust. In the context of the social capital that the real economic transactions do not always think about the profitability and profit, but also to build a cooperative relationship. In the capital transformation, business activity know “tahu serasi” transformation of social capital into economic capital. Social capital is a strong foundation for business continuity tahu  serasi  to date.  Keywords : Tahu Serasi, social capital, business continuity.

Abstract

One of the sub-genre of Metal Underground music is Blackmetal. The depiction of music lovers Blacmetal is always using costumes with a dark color, and a depiction of the band players also use dark-colored costume. In addition they also use Corpsepaint (facial make up in black dan white), and also use a unique and whimsical accessories. In Boyolali, metal community thereby the name of PTH (Pengging Total Hitam), which is a band with the flow Blackmetal quite popular with the audience that is Siramandalem Legion. Siramandalem Legion has uniqueness, that is they add a little ritual in their performance on stage.  The study uses descriptive-exploratory, describe and explain the ritual performed Siramandalem Legioan, of ritual before they appeared on stage, on the stage until performing on stage. Rituals that they used were some ornaments like flowers, incense, etc. Winnowing tray, and each ornament that used to have a purpose and a goal in itself. Ritual they do aim to keep local culture, that is Javanese culture. They combine musical genres Blacmetal with Javanese culture. Additionally rituals that they use as a supplement in their appearance without leaving their believe values. Rituals that they do aim to keep their relationship with God, their relationship with the environment and their relationship with each other.  Keywords : Black Metal, Siramandalem Legion, ritual

Abstract

From more than 17.506 islands, 92 among them are the outermost small islands which have sea border with ten neighbor states including Malaysia, Singapura, Phillippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Palau, Australia and India. According to The National Agency for Border Management (BNPP), from 92 of the outermost small islands above, 12 are having the vulnerability in security and defense because they were in the outermost coordinate point. Not only because they have sea border with ten neighbor states, but also as regional and global lines. Jokowi with his Global Maritime Axis Doctrine puts the outermost small islands as strategic studies in defense policy. By using constructivism and maritime security concept, the author saw that ideas power transferred by Jokowi through his Global Maritime Axis Doctrine has shaped Indonesian new forms toward how it treat the outermost small islands. Through this research, the author found that Jokowi transfers his idea in Indonesian defense policy successfully, and moreover can make some national constitutions which are based on UNCLOS 1982. The Ministry and/or Institution under Jokowi’s era, such as Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and The National Agency for Border Management also played their roles into the outermost small islands. Even though, Indonesian defense policy in Jokowi’s era still far from involvement into the international forum to bring the outermost small islands issues.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research set out from the phenomenon of Dance Dolalak version Mlaranan, which has experienced shifts meaning in progress. Dolalak dance appeared in the 1915 and has experienced shifts from a period in 1980-2015. The purpose of this study to explain the shift in meaning and function of the Performance Dance Version Dolalak Mlaranan period 1980-2015 which will be analyzed in semiotic Roland Barthes. Semiotics Roland Barthes; in Roland Barthes semiotic meaning of denotation and connotation plays a very important compared to its role in the science of linguistics. Direct connotations, and can be referred to as a picture of a landmark. While the connotative meaning is implied meanings. Connotative meaning of some of the signs will be a kind of myth or user myths (which emphasizes these meanings. The research method in this study is a qualitative method, and data collection is done by observation, in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the shift in the meaning of dance Dolalak is the shift of the construction of meaning given guardian of culture to Dolalak, community towards Dolalak, and Founder of the Group Dolalak against Dolalak version Mlaranan, and their cultural construction, resulting in a shift in the meaning of dance Dolalak version Mlaranan in the period 1980-2015.

Abstract

Nyobeng is a ritual of bathing or cleaning the skulls of the ancestors of the DayakBidayuh tribe. Many beliefs are contained in this Ritual. What is most believed by theDayak Bidayuh tribe, this ritual will be the guardian of the village and must be bathedand given offerings as a form of respect. The ritual of bathing or cleaning the humanskulls of this ancestor is carried out by the Dayak Bidayuh tribe. This tribe is one of theDayak sub-tribes in Sebujit Village, Siding District, Bengkayang Regency, WestKalimantan. This study, entitled "Nyobeng Ceremony in Hli Buei Village, Siding District,Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan (Socio-Cultural Analysis)", has the aim ofdescribing the meaning of the Nyobeng ceremony as a formation of socio-culturalrelations of the Dayak Bidayuh community in Hli Buei Village, Siding, Bengkayang WestKalimantan. The theory used is the theory of culture to describe the meaning of theNyobeng ceremony as a form of socio-cultural relations. This study uses a constructivistapproach, so that researchers can make a meaning from what is learned, and analyze, thetype of research used is Qualitative Ethnography. The unit of analysis and observationunit is the Meaning of Nyobeng Upacra as the Formation of Socio-Cultural Relationships.The results of this study indicate that the meaning of Nyobeng as a socio-cultural relationis to know the values, namely belief in ancestors, respect for differences, social solidarity,and adherence to customary rules that are continuously developed and maintained..

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 membuat semua kebiasaan masyarakat berubah. Salah satunya, kebiasaan anak-anak yang seharusnya belajar di Sekolah berubah menjadi Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR), perubahan ini tentunya membuat sebagian anak-anak terlibat sebagai pekerja anak. Hal ini menyebabkan adanya peningkatan jumlah pekerja anak selama adanya pandemi COVID-19 di Kabupaten Sumba Timur.  Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan tentang persepsi orang tua pekerja anak, persepsi Dinas Sosial (Bidang rehabilitasi dan Pekerja Sosial) dan persepsi masyarakat umum terhadap keberadaan pekerja anak di Pasar Inpres Matawai di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang berlandaskan pada studi kasus. Studi kasus merupakan salah satu bagian dari metode kualitatif yang mendalami suatu kasus tertentu secara lebih mendalam dengan mengaitkan berbagai sumber informasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan adanya pandemi COVID-19 membuat jumlah pekerja anak meningkat dan menambah beban anak-anak yang seharusnya belajar dan bermain ditambah dengan beban kerja yang dilakukan setiap harinya dengan menjajakan berbagai  aneka sayuran di Pasar Inpres Matawai. Fenomena ini tentunya berimplikasi pada masa depan pekerja anak terlebih dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia. Keberadaaan pekerja anak di Pasar Inpres Matawai terbentuk oleh persepsi pekerja anak itu sendiri dan persepsi dari  berbagai pihak, yang mendukung dan tidak mendukung semua aktivitas pekerja anak di masa pandemi COVID-19.
