Abstract

Identical to the physical appearance that is demanded to be attractive, work activities are carried out all night and the service orientation is mostly related to male customers, making Karaoke Guide workers judged negatively by the surrounding community. This condition has an impact on the psychosocial condition of Karaoke Guide workers. The purpose of this study was to describe the psychosocial condition of karaoke guides in their environment. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research participants were 5 karaoke guide workers with an age range of 17-30 years. This research was conducted at a karaoke tourist location in Sarirejo Village-Salatiga. The result of this study is that the karaoke driver shows that the psychosocial changes of the karaoke driver are motivated by stigma. Meanwhile, the selection of karaoke guides as their main job is based on their educational background and daily needs. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the psychosocial karoke guides experience problems caused by the stigma of society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of social capital in families of different religions in Salatiga city. The social capital used is from Fukuyama's explanation of trust, norms, and networks. In this study the authors use a qualitative approach, namely, research whose results are in the form of words based on the results of observations and interviews with informants both from body language, behavior, expressions or speech. From the research results analyzed using Fukuyama's Social Capital theory, the results show that families of different religions can live in harmony and harmony because they play social capital, namely trust, norms and networking in family communication and interaction internally and in the surrounding or external environment.

Abstract

Abstract:Regional Water Company (PDAM) of Balikpapan City realizes the importance of the role of employees who are the main movers for the smooth implementation of the tasks of the company. Because it needs to be maintained and maintained by fulfilling their needs and desires.The multiple regression results show: Y = 6.923 + 0.264 X1 + 0.410 X2 + ei. The equation of the multiple regression analysis model shows the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable, which is indicated by the regression coefficients of each independent variable. Regression coefficients of independent variables which are positive means that the independent variable has a direct effect on employee job satisfaction and vice versa.Simultaneously the independent variables of work motivation and career development have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction where the value of F Ming = 35.947 is greater than F label = 3.20 at the real level below 5%. Then it can be concluded that the first hypothesis proposed in this study is proven to be true, namely, it is assumed that simultaneously work motivation and career development have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction in Balikpapan Regional Water CompanyPartially the dominant influence on employee job satisfaction is career development, where the value of t count is 2.719> t table is 1.69973 with the value of Sig t = 0.009 <0.05. It means that the second hypothesis proposed in this study is also proven to be true, that is, it is assumed that career development has a significant and dominant effect on employee job satisfaction in Balikpapan Regional Water Company (PDAM)Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Achievement and Work Satisfaction

Abstract

This research aims to explain various inclusive education efforts for child refugees in Indonesia within Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (MSPs) framework involving the government, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and academic sector. By using qualitative research methods and neoliberalism theory, the results show that there are various MSPs collaborations to implement inclusive education for child refugees in Indonesia. These collaborations include collaboration between UNHCR Indonesia, Dompet Dhuafa, Human Initiative, and PKBM schools to provide preparatory classes before entering national schools, collaboration between UNHCR and universities, as well as collaboration between IOM Indonesia and the government through the Rudenim to provide home-schooling for refugees. It concluded that inclusive education efforts for child refugees in Indonesia have been carried out quite well by several actors, but this commitment must continue to be improved by increasing national regulations related to the refugee education and providing legal certificates for refugees who have completed their education child refugees; inclusive education, Multi-Stakeholder Partnership; cross-sector collaboration.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu bagaimanakah peranan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam menanggulangi kenakalan siswa, dan bagaiamanakah langkah- langkah yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam menanggulangi kenakalan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peranan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam menanggulangi kenakalan siswa, dan langkah-langkah yang dilakukan guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam menanggulangi kenakalan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Peran Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Menanggulangi Kenakalan Siswa adalah membimbing, mempersiaplan warga negara yang cerdas, menanamkan sikap tanggung jawab, menenamkan sikap beradan, dan membentuk akhlak yang baik; dan Langkah-langkah Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Menanggulangi Kenakalan Siswa adalah menggunakan langkah Preventif, yaitu dengan memberi teladan untuk mematuhi tata tertib sekolah, berpakaian rapi/baju dimasukkan, bertutur kata sopan, dan menyuruh siswa untuk rajin belajar, mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah/PR. Kuratif dengan membimbing siswa untuk menaati peraturan dan tata tertib yang belaku, memberikan hukuman atas pelanggaran yang dilakuakn oleh siswa. Represif dengan berusaha untuk menciptakan kepribadian yang mantap, serasi dan dewasa serta mempersiapkan siswa untuk menjadi dewasa dan berkepribadian kuat.

Abstract

Badan Kerja Sama Antar Gereja (BKGS) di Salatiga merasa prihatin dengan pelayanan pendidikan agama Kristen di beberapa Sekolah Dasar (SD) baik SD Negeri maupun swasta di kota Salatiga yang ternyata masih memiliki kekurangan guru. Persoalan kurangnya guru PAK khususnya di tingkat Sekolah Dasar inilah yang kemudian BPGS merekrut sukarelawan guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK). Penyelenggara Bimas Kristen Salatiga menginformasikan bahwa sejak bulan September 2018 terdapat 12 SD yang tidak terlayani pendidikan agama bagi para siswa yang beragama Kristen dan 8 SD yang tidak terlayani pendidikan agama bagi para siswa yang beragama Katolik. Sebagai sukarelawan guru-guru tidak digaji selayaknya, hanya berdasarkan sukarela dari sekolah dimana mereka mengajar. Untuk itu, agar para relawan guru ini tetap dapat menjadi guru yang profesional diperlukan suatu workshop kompetensi dan untuk meningkatkan rasa keterpanggilan serta rasa kebersamaan diperlukan kegiatan spiritual dan sosial. Untuk itu dilakukan workshop penguatan modal sosial dan komunikasi bagi para relawan guru dengan tujuan para relawan guru menyadari akan pentingnya modal sosial sehingga memiliki semangat untuk terus menguatkan modal sosial yang dimiliki dan juga menerapkan komunikasi yang komunikatif serta produktif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan permainan edukatif, interaksi, dan workshop. Dari kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan para guru menyatakan memiliki manfaat terhadap materi yang sudah diberikan dan memperkuat modal sosial dalam melaksanakan tugas nya sebagai relawan guru PAK yang sedang dijalani, serta dapat memahami komunikasi yang efektif untuk diterapkan pada saat melakukan pengajaran dan pendampingan murid PAUD.

Abstract

Glawan Village, Pabelan District, Semarang Regency is a village with a large elderly population. Glawan Village is located in Pabelan District, Semarang Regency. Most of the residents of Glawan Village work as farmers. The number of households in Glawan Village is 665, with a total population of 1,921 people, consisting of 960 males and 961 females. The education level of the residents of Glawan Village is mostly low, with only 570 people graduating from elementary school. Meanwhile, the main sources of livelihood are farming with 156 people and freelance labor with 348 people. In terms of the age of the population in Glawan Village above 60 years, there are 377 people, meaning that 20% of the population in Glawan Village are considered elderly. During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-2021, the elderly in Glawan Village continued their activities as usual at home, even without wearing masks, because they engaged in activities such as making salted fish baskets and farming. From the results of post-Covid19 pandemic research, the elderly stated that their interactions with other elderly and neighbors were the same, but interactions with family members from outside the village were different. During the Covid-19 pandemic, if relatives or friends came to visit, they had to wear masks, but now, after the pandemic, masks are no longer necessary. One very different interaction was during Eid al-Fitr. For two years, they were unable to visit each other, but in 2022, they were able to visit again. For the elderly in Glawan Village, social interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic did not differ much from social interactions after the pandemic. The adaptation of the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic was different because they had to receive guests while wearing masks, but after the pandemic, they no longer have to wear masks.

Abstract

Berbagai perubahan terjadi dalam aspek kehidupan manusia disaat pandemi Covid-19 merebak pada awal tahun 2020. Perubahan juga dialami oleh mahasiswa-mahasiswi yang menetap di Asrama. Untuk itu, Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui bagaimana gambaran strategi bertahan hidup yang diterapkan oleh penghuni asrama. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui proses wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh responden mengalami perubahan baik dari segi ekonomi, sosial maupun proses pembelajaran, namun mereka dapat mengatasi hal tersebut dengan berbagai strategi bertahan hidup yang dimiliki.

Abstract

The elderly have a fairly crucial developmental task, namely having to adapt to changes physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. Good adaptation will produce a good quality of life as well. In the theory of psychosocial development, the quality of life of the elderly will be seen in their success in achieving self-integrity or even despair (ego-integrity vs despair). This study discusses how the elderly adapt at the Panti Wredha Salib Putih Nursing Home in fulfilling their developmental tasks. Qualitative descriptive method was applied in this research. Participants were determined using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of elderly participants aged 65 years and over, living in a nursing home, elderly who are physically and psychologically healthy, not on full bedrest, able to speak clearly and there were five elderly involved in this study. Data were collected using interview techniques with the help of an interview guide consisting of semi-structured questions on the process of adaptation and psychosocial development of ego-integrity vs despair. As a result, the adaptation of the elderly in fulfilling psychosocial developmental tasks includes the attainment of happiness in the elderly, acceptance of themselves and others, adaptation of the behavior and spirituality of the elderly. In conclusion, psychosocial adaptation, psychologically the elderly want to adjust and the elderly do not feel pressured or the reciprocal relationship between the elderly and the environment is comfortable and socially the elderly can accept and be accepted by friends. These experiences can be positively felt by the elderly in their old age, this can be a factor in the success of the elderly in fulfilling psychosocial development tasks so that they enter a state of ego-integrity.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat strategi pembangunan di sektor pendidikan di kawasan perbatasan RI-PNG di distrik Muara Tami, Kota Jayapura pada tahun 2019-2020. Di negara manapun, pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi. Maka dari itu, agenda global mengenai pendidikan memiliki kepentingan yang signifikan bagi banyak negara. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) mempunyai 17 tujuan salah satu tujuannya yaitu tujuan ke-4 yaitu pendidikan berkualitas. Pendidikan sebagai hal yang utama dan patut untuk diperhatikan dalam strategi pembangunan suatu daerah dan sudah semestinya menjadi salah satu hal mendasar yang perlu ditingkatkan dan dibangun. Tingkat pendidikan yang minim menjadikan sebuah bangsa memiliki tingkat kebodohan yang besar, oleh karena itu Indonesia harus meningkatkan pembangunan infrastruktur dan sistem pendidikan, terlebih lagi di wilayah perbatasan. Indonesia memiliki wilayah yang langsung berbatasan dengan Papua Nugini (PNG) batas-batas tersebut meliputi wilayah lautan dan daratan. Sesuai dengan data Badan Pengelolaan Perbatasan Provinsi Papua, wilayah perbatasan RI-PNG meliputi wilayah Kota Jayapura, Kabupaten Keerom, Kabupaten Jayapura, Kabupaten Supiori, Kabupaten Pegunungan Bintang, Kabupaten Digul, dan Kabupaten Merauke. Salah satu wilayah perbatasan RI-PNG yang akan dibahas oleh penulis adalah wilayah kota Jayapura yaitu Distrik Muara Tami. Dalam melakukan penelitian, penulis menerapkan metode pendekatan kualitatif untuk menelusuri fakta-fakta yang ada menjadi lebih dalam dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif-eksplanasi untuk menggali lebih dalam lagi. Temuan dari penelitian ini menghasilkan strategi pembangunan sektor pendidikan di Distrik Muara Tami sampai saat ini belum sepenuhnya dicapai dengan baik, tetapi ada sebagian target yang sudah mengalami kemajuan dalam hal ini berupa renovasi gedung, menyediakan tenaga pendidik yang kompeten, dan sarana-prasarana yang cukup.
