Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Mind Mapping Konstruktif Imajinatif (MMKI) terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen dan sikap siswa SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 13 Palembang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Kelas kontrol yaitu kelas XI MIA 3 yang berjumlah  32 orang dan kelas eksperimen kelas XI MIA 2 yang berjumlah 38 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes kemampuan menulis cerpen dan angket sikap. Tes digunakan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan menulis cerpen dan uji korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk melihat hubungan subskala sikap keyakinan, kesukaan , dan usaha akademik. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 20. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada kelas kontrol terdapat rata-rata tes awal yaitu 72,62 dan tes akhir 76. Sementara itu, tes awal pada kelas eksperimen 68.05 dan tes akhir 79.31. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran keterampilan menulis cerpen dengan menerapkan model Mind Mapping Konstruktif Imajinatif (MMKI) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.  Hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji t yaitu t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel ( 2,00 > 1,999) dengan sig.0,05. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa  terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap keyakinan, kesukaan, dan usaha akademik terhadap kemampuan menulis cerpen. Ini berarti bahwa model MMKI dapat digunakan oleh guru-guru bahasa Indonesia terutama dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen.

Abstract

Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (reserch and development). Penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengembangkan produk penelitian berupa modul pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi yang digunakan ditingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas kelas X.   Penelitian ini menggunakan  model Tessmer. Terdapat  tiga tahapan yaitu: (1) tahap preliminary, (2) tahap formative evalution, dan (3)  tahapan field test. Bahan ajar modul  menulis teks eksposisi dirancang dan dikembangkan berdasarkan kebutuhan peserta didik.  Setelah dikembangkan modul menulis teks eksposisi divalidasi oleh tiga pakar yang menilai aspek kelayakan materi, kelayakan penyajian dan kelayakan bahasa dengan menggunakan angket oleh dosen dari Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Sriwijaya. Dari hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor 18 dari skor maksimal 25 dan dikategorikan baik, validasi kebahasaan diperoleh skor 15 dari skor maksimal 20 dan dikategorikan baik,validasi ahli penyajian diperoleh 18 dari skor maksimal 20 dan dikategorikan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, modul menulis teks eksposisi yang dikembangkan peneliti dapat dikategorikan layak.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the learners’ needs toward the drama script writing material development using a scientific approach. This research applied a qualitative approach. The data were collected with observation, questionnaire, and interview techniques. The applied instruments were observation, questionnaire, and interview. The sample consisted of learners. The findings showed that the learners needed communication and technology-based teaching materials to support their needs of drama script writing skill training. Based on the learners’ characteristics identification, they needed learning application to make the learning activities and to freely enrich the sources. They also needed interesting teaching materials that had many examples, provided writing exercises, the opportunity to interact, time to work the exercise, and space to perform. Therefore, this research proposed Moodle application as a learning material in the form of a Student Worksheet. This initial stage of research is expected to be the beginning of drama script writing material development with a scientific approach and based on Moodle. The results of the learners’ need analysis could be also used by other researchers to obtain the 21st-century learners’ characteristics.

Abstract

Professional educators should be able to develop teaching materials to cope with the 2013 curriculum learning objectives in any given learning circumstances. Their preparedness to carry out the teaching-learning process could be assisted by applying teaching materials that are in line with the 2013 curriculum. This research aims to conduct a need analysis survey from various research stages and development stages to develop and validate the product and to determine what kind of teaching materials. The applied stages of a research and development study consist of (1) instructional process identification, (2) the analysis of the targeted learning outcomes, and (3) the analysis of the learners and their needs. The research location was in Public Senior High School 3 Prabumulih, Southern Sumatera Province. The subjects consisted of tenth graders with a population of 185 learners and 2 Indonesian language teachers. The numbers of the sample were 28 learners or 15% of the population. The first technique to collect the data was a questionnaire of the learners’ needs and the interview. Based on the findings and discussion, the recommended student worksheet by the researchers was an exposition-student worksheet with a scientific plus approach. With this student worksheet, the learners could train their skills and seek accurate information to be expressed in their exposition text. On the other hand, the teachers could also monitor and facilitate the learners to construct their knowledge about the text.

Abstract

An educator requires a learning evaluation tool as the assessment instrument. It can be printed or assisted with the information and communication technology. This qualitative research describes the learners and Indonesian language teachers’ needs toward ICT-based evaluation development for the tenth-grade students. The subjects were taken by purposive sampling based on the objectives and the research needs. They were 68 respondents and three Indonesian language teachers. This research used questionnaire and interview to collect the data. The obtained data were described by the researchers. Based on the findings, the students were already habituated to use ICT-based application. Thus, it indicated their needs of a better, multi-purpose, and multi-utility application so that the researcher recommended Ispring as the evaluation tool for the students. It is a multi-utility authoring e-learning to create various e-learning content types. It has some features to make interesting learning media and to promote presentation. It could be also combined with MS. PowerPoint and can be used to present, support electronic learning, distribute file, and create quizzes.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian in the text-based 2013 curriculum directs students to be able to produce text-based writings. However, the ability of students to write creatively in middle school found in the field is still in the weak category. Obstacles related to this are increasing considering that Indonesia is currently experiencing the Covid 19 pandemic which requires learning to be carried out from home so that supporting learning media is needed in accordance with existing conditions. Based on the above, a solution is needed to overcome this, one of which is the use of E-Learning Schoology, which is learning that is in accordance with the character of generation Z. This research aimed to determine the needs of teachers regarding E-Learning Schoology content in learning creative writing in secondary schools in Palembang city. This research is a type of research and development. The research object was Indonesian language teachers in SMA in Palembang city. The data collection method used is a survey method with a questionnaire. Data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study show that when viewed in terms of necessities, the content of E-Learning Schoology in learning creative writing in secondary schools in Palembang must be adjusted to the principles of learning to write, the principles of electronic / online learning, the Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture No.4 of 2020 concerning Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency Period of the Spread of Corona Virus Disease (COVID 19) and distance learning guides for teachers during schools closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The next finding is that when viewed from the components that are needed, teachers really need E-Learning Schoology in learning creative writing at high schools in Palembang. The last finding is that there are still deficiencies in the implementation of learning creative writing and the media used in secondary schools in Palembang is not adequate yet.

Abstract

The era of the COVID-19 pandemic brought major changes in the world of education, not only in Indonesia, but in the world. Almost all countries feel the same way. The learning system has switched from an offline/face-to-face to an online system. This world disaster has made many new applications appear or the famous applications that support online learning. One of them is Indonesian learning which requires learning technology, especially writing skills; creative writing. Writing skills in high school are needed. There are many types of creative writing that must be mastered by students, such as writing biographies, writing short stories, writing poetry, and so on. Moreover, in the 2013 curriculum, Indonesian language learning is text-based which directs students to be able to produce text-based writings. The purpose of this study was to determine the practicality of the content of E-Learning Schoology in learning creative writing in high schools in Palembang city in terms of teachers. This research is research and development research. The object of research is the 10th grade Indonesian at SMA Palembang. The method used is the Delpi method. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and FGDs. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows. First, the E-Learning Schoology content for creative writing learning has been practically used based on the small group test which was participated by 10 students. This practicality can be seen from the assessments given by students on aspects of material, language, content presentation, and E-Learning which show a very decent value. Mean value which was above 4.25. Second, the students stated that the content developed has advantages such as, interesting, motivating, complete material, easy to use, inspiring, provides many learning experiences, the language is easy to understand, the features used are interesting and make it easier to learn. Third, this content has weaknesses, but these weaknesses occured because of the lack of understanding of students in operating this e-learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatan keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya melalui Process-Genre Based Approach. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester III yang berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian dilakukan di kampus FKIP Bukit Besar Palembang. Penelitian dilakukan selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes, lembar observasi, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Indikator keberhasilan yaitu apabila 85% mahasiswa mendapat nilai >70. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan menulis akademik mahasiswa setelah diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan Process-Genre Based Approach. Penelitian ini berakhir pada siklus II karena nilai telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan, yaitu 96,6% mahasiswa telah mendapat nilai >70. Selain itu, dari segi proses pebelajaran, hampir semua mahasiswa telah menunjukkan keaktifan dalam bertanya, mengajukan gagasan, melakukan kolaborasi, dan mengerjakan tugas dengan baik.

Abstract

Instrumen yang digunakan untuk untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes kemampuan menulis cerpen. Tes digunakan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan menulis cerpen. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 20. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada kelas kontrol terdapat rata-rata tes awal yaitu 52.32 dan tes akhir 59.13. Sementara itu, tes awal pada kelas eksperimen 63.71 dan tes akhir 73.89. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran keterampilan menulis cerpen dengan menerapkan model Mind Mapping KOnstruktif Imajinatif (MMKI) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji t, yaitu t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (2,00>1,999) dengan sig.0,05. Ini berarti bahwa MMKI dapat digunakan oleh guru-guru bahasa Indonesia terutama dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru SD, MTs, MA, di Desa Semuntul, Rantau Bayur, Banyu Asin menulis artikel ilmiah. metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini yaitu ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan diadakan tes awal dan akhir yaitu 7,6. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara kuantitatif terdapat peningkatan kemampuan guru-guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah sebesar 2,2. Hasil analisis secara kualitatif juga menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru sudah menunjukkan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah terutama menulis latar belakang walaupun mereka masih lemah pada bagian pembahasan. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil artikel ilmiah yang ditulis sebagai produk dari pelatihan ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah guru-guru SD, MTs, MA, di Desa Semuntul, Rantau Bayur, Banyu Asin. Dengan demikian, model pelatihan ini dapat digunakan sebagai sarana bagi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah.
