Abstract

The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with the research subjects being students of class IV-D SD Negeri Unggulan 1 Morotai Island as many as 27 students consisting of 11 boys and 16 girls. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes through media images in science subjects with the material of the Human Skeleton, Functions and Maintenance. The results of the research in the first cycle, students who completed were 10 people (37%) of the total (27 students), while 17 students (63%) had not succeeded. In cycle II there was an increase in learning outcomes by (44%), so that students who succeeded in cycle II were 22 students (81%) and those who had not succeeded were 5 students (19%). Research on the role of image media in improving student learning outcomes has had a very good impact on students' interest in learning science.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the use of science teaching aids could improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pulau Morotai. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and will be carried out in 2022. The research subjects are students class V SD Muhammadiyah 6 Morotai Island totaling 11 students. The average value of students in the first cycle was 66.45 and after improvements were made in the second cycle the average value was 83.63. This means that there was a very significant increase in cycle II, namely in cycle I there were only 5 students who passed from the total class V students. However, after improvements were made in cycle II the number of students who passed became 10 students from the total class V students at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Morotai Island, namely 11 students. Thus it can be concluded that science lessons using science teaching aids on the material Properties of Light are very conducive, that is, there is an increase in science learning outcomes if the learning uses science teaching aids in fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Morotai Island.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in improving the honesty character education of VB MIN 2 Morotai class students and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the teacher in building the honesty character of VB class students at MIN 2 Morotai. To achieve these objectives, this research uses a type of qualitative research with data collection, researchers use observation research methods, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. From the results of this study it can be concluded that: 1) The values ​​of honesty in class VB MIN 2 Morotai students have not been carried out optimally, , 2) The role of the teacher in instilling the values ​​of honesty in class students VB MIN 2 Morotai is illustrated through activities those inside and outside the class. 3) Factors that influence students' honesty values ​​are based on students' self-awareness, parents and the surrounding environment. The solution that can be done is to establish good communication between school principals, teachers and parents by paying attention to and teaching good things to students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mathematics learning process on the cognitive development of fifth grade students at GMIH Sabatai Baru Elementary School, South Morotai District, and how big the influence is. The research method used is the experimental method (pre-eksperimental design tipe one group pretest posttest) with a quantitative approach. Data collection is done by questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression technique with calculations using SPSS 25for Windows. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a significant effect of the mathematics learning process on the cognitive development of fifth grade students, this is indicated by the Sig. Amounting to 0.11 < 0.05. And the influence of the influence of the mathematics learning process on the cognitive development of fifth grade students is 36.3%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the influence of the mathematics learning process on the cognitive development of fifth grade students at GMIH Sabatai Baru Elementary School, South Morotai District, has a significant influence.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Science, focusing on the topic "Human Senses," through the use of instructional teaching aids. Conducted with fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pulau Morotai during the 2022/2023 academic year, the study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and evaluation tests, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The study's results show a significant increase in students' interest and learning outcomes, marked by an improvement in class mastery from 58.3% in Cycle I to 68.3% in Cycle II, and individual mastery rates rising from 87% to 90%. Based on these findings, the use of teaching aids in science lessons effectively enhances students' engagement and understanding. This research recommends that teachers be more active and creative in utilizing teaching aids to improve the quality of learning.
