Abstract

Masyarakat di Desa Sukaramai Pak-pak Bharat banyak yang menggunakan air pegunungan sebagai air bersih, air minum dan keperluan rumah tangga yang terlihat keruh, berwarna kemungkinan mengandung logam misalnya logam Pb dan Cd. Jika melebihi batas dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan diantaranya mengganggu pertumbuhan, perilaku dan karakteristik morfologi berbagai organisme akuatik. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan uji kadar kandungan Pb dan Cd yang terdapat dalam air peggunungan digunakan penduduk daerah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kadar Pb dan Cd didalam air yang digunakan penduduk tersebut. Penetapan kadar Pb dan Cd dalam sampel air di desa tersebut dilakukan secara Spektofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA), yang sebelumnya terlebih dahulu didestruksi dengan asam nitrat. Sebelum dilakukan penetapan kadar, diawali dengan uji identifikasi dengan beberapa reaksi kimia untuk memastikan adanya kandungan Pb dan Cd dalam sampel Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semua sampel yang diuji mengandung Pb dan Cd. Semua sampel mengandung logam Pb dan Cd yang tidak memenuhi syarat yaitu kandungan Pb melebihi 0,05 mg/l dan Cd melebihi 0,005 mg/l. Dengan demikian air yang digunakan masyarakat sebagai air bersih dan keperluan rumah tangga tidak boleh digunakan sebelum dilakukan pengolahan dan penyaringan sebelum dikomsumsi.

Abstract

Hair for humans has an important role, in addition to protecting the skin from adverse environments, hair also plays an important role in a person's appearance. Losing a lot of hair due to hair loss can cause a lack of self-confidence, disappointment, and frustration, so it must be addressed immediately so as not to worsen the condition that can cause baldness. This study aims to determine whether there is a content of secondary metabolite compounds in fresh herbal medicine, herbal medicine powder and ethanol extract of papaya fruit skin; ethanol extract of papaya fruit skin (Carica papaya L.) can be formulated in the form of hair tonic preparations; whether the difference in concentration of ethanol extract of papaya fruit skin (Carica papaya L.) provides different activities in triggering hair growth in guinea pigs. This research method uses a quantitative approach and is experimental with independent variables, namely papaya fruit skin, herbal medicine, and ethanol extract of papaya fruit skin with concentrations of 10%, 20%, 30%. Research stages: phytochemical screening of fresh papaya fruit peel, powdered simplicia and ethanol extract, hair tonic formulation containing ethanol extract of papaya fruit peel 10%, 20% and 30%, hair tonic evaluation includes: organoleptic, viscosity, stability, pH, irritation, and preference test. And hair growth activity test on male guinea pigs. The results showed that the ethanol extract of papaya fruit peel contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, steroids, and glycosides, can be formulated into hair tonic (EEKP) that meets physical quality requirements. Hair tonic EEKP 30% is the best because it has high hair growth activity, which is an average of 16.375 mm where this EEKP 30% hair tonic has almost the same hair growth activity as the positive control, which is an average of 16.782 mm.

Abstract

Many people in Lenggadai Hilir Village, Rimba Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau use dug well water and drilled well water as clean water, drinking water and household needs that look cloudy, colored and slightly odorous, possibly containing metals such as Fe and Zn. The content of Fe and Zn metals in clean water has the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 416 / Menkes / PER / IX / 1990, namely a maximum of 1.0 mg / l Fe and a maximum of 15 mg / l Zn. The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of Fe and Zn in the water used by the population. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Determination of Fe and Zn levels in water samples in the village was carried out using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS), which were previously destroyed with nitric acid. Before determining the levels, it began with an identification test with several chemical reactions to ensure the presence of Fe and Zn content in the samples. The results showed that all samples tested contained Fe and Zn. All samples of drilled wells contain Fe, the levels of which do not meet the requirements and all Zn samples meet the requirements, from 8 dug well samples there are 6 dug well samples contaminated with Fe, namely dug well 1 (1), dug well 1 (2), dug well 2 (1), dug well 2 (2), dug well 3 (1) and dug well 3 (2). Thus, the water used by the community as clean water and household needs should not be used for household water needs and drinking water before processing and filtering before consumption.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of multiple-choice questions based on Higher Order Thinking Skill's (HOTS) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Subjects for Class XI of Al-Azhar Medan High School in the 2022-2023 Academic Year. Content analysis is the technique used in this research. In this study, data analysis was conducted qualitatively. This means analyzing data from exam question documents on the subject of Islamic Religious Education, dividing the questions into categories C1 to C6, and then presenting the results of the data analysis in the form of percentages for each question category. The subject of this research is multiple-choice questions that have been made by the teacher of Islamic Religious Education class XI at SMA Al-Azhar Medan in the 2022–2023 academic year, totaling 35 questions. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation and analysis of data contained in question documents and answer keys. The results obtained from the analysis of the quality of items according to Bloom's taxonomy in the cognitive domain indicate that of the 35 multiple-choice questions found, 51.43% are in the HOTS categ multiple choice questions ory and 48.57% are included in the LOTS item category. Analysis of the quality of items in the aspect of difficulty level shows 32 questions (91.43%) in the medium category, 3 questions (8.57%) in the easy category, and 0 questions (0%) in the difficult category. Analysis of the quality of the items in the aspect of the differential power of the questions shows 31 questions amounting to (88.57%) good category, 3 questions (8.57%) very good category, and 1 question amounting to (2.86%) sufficient category.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah jahe sebagai salah satu bahan herbal yang memiliki banyak manfaat menjadi produk minuman kesehatan, bernilai ekonomis dan dapat dijadikan sebagai opsi produk untuk memelihara kesehatan berbasis rumah tangga. Sasaran kegiatan pelatihan merupakan komunitas ibu-ibu rumah tangga di Desa Bingkat yang memiliki minat terhadap usaha olahan produk herbal, dan pelaku usaha mikro. Tujuan pelaksanaan pelatihan berorientasi pada pemanfaatan ketersediaan bahan herbal rumahan sebagai alternatif suplemen kesehatan, serta memberikan kesadaran terkait potensi ekonomi berbasis produk herbal yang berpeluang membentuk kemandirian untuk berwirausaha yang bagi masyarakat Desa Bingkat. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui aktivitas penyuluhan dengan penyampaian materi khasiat jahe serta demonstrasi mekanisme produksi dan packaging produk melalui pendekatan partisipasif. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendistribusian instrumen evaluasi yang meliputi aspek materi pelatihan, penguasaan materi narasumber, kelengkapan fasilitas pelatihan, peningkatan pengetahuan dan peluang bisnis. Pengolahan data evaluasi dilakukan dengan komputasi statistik dengan metode kuantitatif. Evaluasi hasil kegiatan mengilustrasikan kesesuaian materi pelatihan memperoleh capaian evaluasi sebesar 88,75%, sedangkan penguasaan materi narasumber dan peningkatan pemahaman peserta memiliki nilai capaian persentase sebesar 86,25%. Selain itu, aspek kelengkapan fasilitas dan peluang bisnis memiliki capaian persentase sebsar 80%. Secara keseluruhan, rerata capaian persentase pada pelaksanaan kegiatan memiliki capaian persentase sebesar 84,25%. Sehingga pelaksanaan kegiatan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Kegiatan pelatihan diharapkan dapat menjadi model yang dapat diduplikasi pada wilayah lainnya dengan sumber daya yang identik.

Abstract

Students are greatly affected by the latest technological advances. Artificial intelligence, also called AI, is one of the most popular modern innovations. The purpose of this study is to use statistics to examine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) affects student learning. A total of 29 participants who were all Uinsu students participated in the quantitative analysis. Regression modeling, correlation analysis, and descriptive statistics were used to investigate the relationship between AI and student learning. The results obtained were with a significance level of 0.000, the simultaneous test results showed a calculated F value of 1.325. This indicates a fairly large simultaneous influence between the Artificial Intelligence variable (X) and the student learning variable (Y). If the partial test results show a calculated t value (4.738) greater than the t table (2.052), then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Student learning (Y) is significantly influenced by Artificial Intelligence (X) and the R-Square test, which produces an R2 value of 0.811, Artificial Intelligence (X) has an influence of 81.1% on Student Learning (Y), while other elements not covered in this study have an influence of 19.9%. Regardless of the research findings, it is important to understand the benefits and drawbacks of artificial intelligence. If implemented correctly, artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to be a useful tool to improve student learning outcomes and quality.
