Abstract

Compensation is an important element in an organization that affects the performance and sustainability of human resources. This study aims to analyze the relationship between compensation, motivation, and employee performance with motivation as a mediating variable in the Central Java Education and Culture Office. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 100 respondents analyzed using SPSS Statistics 25. The results of the study explain that compensation does not directly affect employee performance but has a significant effect on motivation. Motivation has been shown to have a significant effect on performance and acts as a mediator between compensation and employee performance. The theoretical implication of this study is to enrich the literature on the role of motivation as a mediating variable in the relationship between compensation and employee performance, especially in the context of government agencies. Practically, these results provide insight for human resource managers to focus more on compensation distribution strategies that can improve performance, so that they have a significant effect on employee performance. Proper implementation will help improve performance and achieve institutional goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-service quality and price on customer loyalty and to examine whether customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between e-service quality, price, and customer loyalty. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling, with respondents consisting of GoFood customers who are students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dian Nuswantoro University. The sample size consisted of 100 respondents, and data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-PLS to test both direct and indirect effects between variables. The results indicate that both e-service quality and price have a positive influence on customer satisfaction. E-service quality also has a significant positive influence on customer loyalty, while price does not have a direct effect. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty and serves as a mediating variable in the relationship between e-service quality, price, and customer loyalty. These findings underscore the crucial role of service quality and customer satisfaction in fostering loyalty among digital food delivery customers.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fashion FOMO (fear of missing out) exerts a significant influence on fashion consumption behavior, particularly among the demographic from late adolescence to young adulthood. The fear of missing trends can lead individuals to make impulsive purchases. In contrast, the Minimalist Wardrobe concept promotes a conscious lifestyle that emphasizes functional and sustainable clothing choices. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of Fashion FoMO on purchasing decisions and to assess the role of a Minimalist Wardrobe as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing purposive sampling to collect data through surveys administered to respondents residing in Semarang City. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS software. The results show that Fashion FoMO has a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions for UNIQLO products. Meanwhile, the Minimalist Wardrobe shows an insignificant effect. These findings suggest that purchasing decisions are more strongly driven by emotional pressure from FoMO than by minimalist lifestyle considerations.

Abstract

This study investigates the Influence of work environment, workload, and work stress on turnover intention among employees of a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) located in Semarang. Turnover intention reflects an employee's desire to voluntarily leave the organization, which can disrupt operational stability and productivity. A quantitative research design was adopted, using a survey of employees as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The empirical findings reveal that the work environment, workload, and work stress simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. A less supportive work environment, excessive workload, and heightened stress levels were identified as key drivers influencing employees' intention to resign. Furthermore, these three variables collectively explain the variance in turnover intention. Based on these results, it is recommended that the company enhance its work environment, implement better workload management strategies, and provide effective stress management programs to minimize the risk of high employee turnover.

Abstract

Job training is an important intervention to improve the competence of blue-collar women workers amid the barriers posed by patriarchal norms and domestic workloads. This study aims to test the influence of job training on worker competence by making work motivation as a mediating variable. The subject of the study was blue-collar female workers who participated in a training program organized by the Central Java Provincial Women's Empowerment Office, with a total of 165 respondents who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research was quantitative and analyzed the data using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method through SmartPLS software. The findings of the study revealed that job training has a positive and significant effect on worker competence, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of work motivation. This proves that the training designed effectively increases work motivation, which in turn significantly strengthens the knowledge, skills, and work attitudes of blue-collar female workers.
