Abstract

Kebutuhan hara N pada bayam cukup tinggi, terutama jika ingin mengembangkannya di lahan yang kurang subur. Penggunaan bakteri penambat N yang hidup bebas diharapkan dapat membantu penyediaan N untuk tanaman. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melakukan karakterisasi isolat bakteri penambat N dan melihat peranannya dalam perkecambahan bayam cabut. Eksplorasi isolat bakteri dilakukan dari perakaran bayam liar menggunakan media LG dan Ashby. Isolat bakteri yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi berdarkan kemampuan melarutkan P dan menghasilkan senyawa indol, masing-masing pada media Picovskaya dan TSB yang diberi triptofan. Isolat yang unggul digunakan dalam uji perkecambahan bayam. Uji kecambah menggunakan metoda UDK pada kertas merang. Variabel yang diamati kecambah normal, vigor kecambah, panjang akar dan tinggi kecambah normal. Hasil isolasi diperoleh 16 isolat bakteri yang dapat menambat N, 3 isolat (12BH3, 13BH4 dan 1BH4) diantaranya unggul dalam melarutkan P dan dapat memproduksi senyawa indol. Pada pengujian daya kecambah digunakan isolat 12BH3, 13BH3 dan isolat komersial. Pengujian menunjukan bahwa isolat bakteri penambat N dapat meningkatkan kecambah normal dan tinggi kecambah

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the application arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, phosphate fertilizers on the growth and yield of white corn on ultisol soil. The research method used a factorial randomized block design. The first factor was the use of mycorrhizal fungi (without mycorrhizae, and given mycorrhizae) and the second factor was the dose of phosphate per plant (5 g/plant, 4 g/plant, 2 g/plant, 1 g/plant, and 0 g/plant). There is an interaction effect of inoculation dose of AMF and P on cob and cob weight variables. The AMF treatment significantly affected the weight of the cobs with the cobs, the weight of the cobs without the cobs, the number of seeds per ear and the number of mycorrhizal spores. The dose of P fertilizer affected the variable weight of cobs with cobs, weight of cobs without cobs, length of ears and number of seeds per ear. Key words: AMF, cobs, corn husks, marginal land, phosphate fertilizer

Abstract

Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF) is one type of fertilizer that is currently an alternative fertilizer that is widely used by the community. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of liquid organic fertilizers made from the fermentation of the basic ingredients of the Mimosa pudica Linn. Using several types of bio activators.The study used a two-factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The treatment factors were the type of liquid fertilizer organic matter (A) and the microbial starter (B), there were 6 treatment combinations and was repeated 4 times with a three-day variable observed pH, temperature, color, and aroma descriptive organoleptic test. After becoming LOF, the content of N, P, K, C-Organic, Fe, and Pb were analyzed. The results of the analysis showed that the temperature and pH of the finished liquid fertilizer reached 29-31 ° C with a pH of 4. The K content in the liquid fertilizer was higher when using a mixture of canopy and root of the daughter of shame. The C-Organic content in liquid fertilizers is relatively the same. The color and aroma quality of all treatments were the same as well as the P. content. Fe and Pb content were classified as very low as required in liquid fertilizer products. Keywords: shy daughter Plants, Bio activators, Fermentation, LOF.

Abstract

Anthracnose disease in chili is caused by C. acutatum. This disease can cause a decrease in quality and production of chili pepper. The use of biological control agents can be an alternative in controlling of C. acutatum. The use of biological agents is more environmentally friendly and reduces the negative effects of synthetic pesticides. This study aims to obtain yeast isolates from the phyllosphere that have the potential to suppress anthracnose disease. The research was carried out at the Laboratory of Diseases at the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak from July to October 2019. Yeast isolation used a pouring plate method on the media YGCA after the yeast on the fruit surface was enriched in liquid media YGC during 24 hours. Yeast antagonism test against C. acutatum using the dual culture method, conidia viability, and the ability of pathogens to infect fruit. The results of the isolation obtained 8 yeast isolates in healthy chili of Gada variety. Antagonism test obtained 3 yeast isolates with the highest inhibitory to C. acutatum growth, isolates K2, K3 and K5. Inhibition is greater than 50%. Based on the severity index of the disease in the hypovirulent test, the three yeast isolates were not pathogenic. In the in vivo test with the immersion method, both using yeast cells and filtrate showed that yeast cells could inhibit the growth of C. acutatum infection ability better than yeast filtrate. All yeast isolates can suppress the growth of C. acutatum with a different percentage of disease.

Abstract

The study aims to obtain local isolates of Trichoderma in the rhizosphere of rubber plant and to identify the antagonism of R. lignosus that causes white root disease caused by Trichoderma sp. The research was carried out by taking soil from the rhizosphere of rubber plant in Parindu District, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan. Then exploration and antagonism test were carried out at the Laboratory of Plant Diseases Agriculture Faculty Tanjungpura University. Antagonism test was carried out using a completely randomized design and repeated 5 times. The results showed that there were 44 isolates of Trichoderma sp. namely the species T. harzianum; T. koningii; T. viride; and T. aurioviridae with an average antagonistic power to R. lignosus that causes white root disease on rubber plant ranging from 37.4-89.4%, and Trichoderma sp. Local isolates from Parindu District, Sanggau Regency have faster growth potential and higher competitive ability compared to  R. lignosus colony growth. INTISARIPenelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan isolat lokal Trichoderma pada rhizosfer tanaman karet dan mengidentifikasi antagonisme R. lignosus penyebab penyakit jamur akar putih yang disebabkan oleh Trichoderma sp. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dengan pengambilan tanah pada rhizosfer tanaman karet di Kecamatan Parindu Kabupaten Sanggau Kalimantan Barat, selanjutnya dilakukan eksplorasi dan uji antagonisme di Laboratorium Penyakit Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura. Uji antagonisme dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat 44 isolat Trichoderma sp. yaitu spesies T. harzianum; T.koningii; T. viride; dan T. aurioviridae dengan rata-rata daya antagonisme terhadap R. lignosus penyebab penyakit jamur akar putih pada tanaman karet berkisar antara 37,4-89,4%, serta Trichoderma sp. isolat lokal Kecamatan Parindu Kabupaten Sanggau memiliki daya tumbuh yang lebih cepat dan kemampuan kompetisi lebih tinggi dibanding dengan pertumbuhan koloni R. lignosus.

Abstract

Rice production technology that needs to be studied, in this study is water table regulation and amino acid administration. The study was conducted in Singkawang using a Complete Randomized Design.  Two-factor factorial. The first factor regulates the height of the water table +5 cm, 0 cm, -10 cm, -20 cm. The second factor is administration without amino acids, synthetic amino acids 500 ppm, amino acids gold snails 500 ppm and 1000 ppm. The interaction of the two factors occurred in the variables of the number of productive saplings at the age of 42 hst, root volume and stem rigidity. The combination of water level treatment of -10 cm and the application of 500 ppm golden snail amino acids is the best with the number of saplings 38, the volume of roots as much as 50 ml and the rigidity of the stem in the category is rather strongKeywords: gold snail, productive tiller, inundation, stem rigidity, synthetic amino acids

Abstract

The study aimed to determine Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and rice straw and their interactions independently in increasing the growth and yield of black rice in rain-fed rice fields. The experiment was conducted in Tebas District, Sambas Regency, from July to December 2022. The experiment was arranged using a split-plot and randomized block design pattern. The main plot was AMF treatment (without AMF and AMF administration), and the subplots were rice straw dose (tons/ha) (0, 5, 10, 15). The experiment was repeated 3 times and consisted of 16 observed plant samples. The results showed that AMF and rice straw interaction affected root volume and grain weight per plot. AMF independently affects plant height, the number of productive tillers, and the percentage of filled grain. The applied rice straw plays a role in influencing plant height, the number of productive tillers, and the rate of filled grain. Keywords: arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, rice straw, black rice, ricefield INTISARITujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengkaji peran FMA dan jerami padi serta interaksi keduanya masing-masing secara mandiri dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil padi hitam di sawah tadah hujan. Percobaan dilaksanakan Kecamatan Tebas, Kabupaten Sambas pada bulan Juli sampai Desember 2022. Percobaan disusun menggunakan rancangan split plot dengan pola rancangan acak kelompok. Petak utama yaitu perlakuan FMA (tanpa FMA dan pemberian FMA), anak petak yaitu dosis jerami padi (ton/ha) (0, 5, 10, 15). Percobaan diulang sebanyak 3 kali dan terdiri atas 16 sampel tanaman amatan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa interaksi FMA dan jerami padi berpengaruh terhadap volume akar dan berat gabah per petak. FMA secara mandiri berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif dan persentase gabah isi. Jerami padi yang diaplikasikan berperan dalam mempengaruhi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif dan persentase gabah isi. Kata kunci: fungi mikoriza arbuskula, jerami padi, padi hitam, sawah

Abstract

Identifying symptoms of P. capsici pathogen attack that causes stem rot disease in pepper seedlings is an indispensable first step to determining the type and technique of disease prevention and effective control in the supply of healthy pepper seedlings. This study aimed to determine the occurrence of P. capsici attack symptoms in pepper seedlings. The pepper used was the Bengkayang variety using 2 segments of cuttings from the climbing vines of a healthy parent tree. The research was conducted at the UPSBP office in West Kalimantan Province and the Laboratory of Plant Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura. The source of the pathogenic inoculum that causes stem rot of pepper was taken from the rhizosphere of plants with symptoms of stem rot. The soil containing the pathogens was seized, put in polybags, and planted with healthy pepper cuttings and leaves. The results showed that there were 3 types of symptoms caused by P. capsici attack, namely symptoms on the leaves with black spots appearing that could cause necrosis and cause leaf fall, on the shoots/shoots that could cause the nodes to break off, and on the base of the stem/roots can cause plant death.Keywords: pepper seedlings, Phytophthora capsici,  stem rot disease INTISARIIdentifikasi gejala serangan patogen P. capsici penyebab terjadinya penyakit busuk pangkal batang pada bibit lada merupakan langkah awal yang sangat diperlukan untuk menentukan jenis dan teknik pencegahan serangan penyakit serta pengendalian yang efektif dalam penyediaan bibit lada yang sehat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui terjadinya gejala serangan P. capsici  pada bibit tanaman lada. Lada yang digunakan adalah varietas Bengkayang dengan menggunakan 2 ruas stek dari sulur panjat pohon induk yang sehat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kantor UPSBP Provinsi Kalimantan Barat dan Laboratorium Penyakit Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura. Sumber inokulum patogen penyebab busuk pangkal batang lada di ambil dari rizosfer tanaman bergejala busuk pangkal batang. Tanah yang mengandung patogen diambil, dimasukkan ke dalam polibeg dan ditanami dengan setek batang dan daun lada yang sehat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 jenis gejala yang ditimbulkan akibat serangan P. capsici yaitu gejala pada bagian daun dengan muncul bintik hitam yang dapat menyebabkan nekrosis dan menyebabkan daun gugur, bagian tunas/pucuk yang dapat menyebabkan putusnya pucuk tanaman, dan bagian pangkal batang/akar dapat menyebabkan kematian tanaman. Kata Kunci: bibit lada, busuk pangkal batang, Phytophthora capsici

Abstract

Karakterisasi Padi Beras Hitam Selasih pada Fase Generatif di Lahan Sawah Pasang Surut Restu Nurkhamdani (1), Tantri Palupi (2), Fadjar Rianto (2)(1) Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian, dan (2) Staf Pengajar Fakultas Pertanian Univerisitas Tanjungpura Pontianak ABSTRAK Karakterisasi padi beras hitam lokal Selasih perlu dilakukan untuk memahami sifat atau karakter yang dipunyai. Karakter baik yang dimiliki padi beras hitam Selasih dapat dimanfaatkan untuk program pemuliaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi karakter morfologi dan agronomi padi lokal beras hitam Selasih saat fase generatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di dusun Cendrawasih, Kecematan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kuburaya. Penelitian berlangsung selama 8 bulan dari 25 Maret sampai 16 November 2019. Penelitian ini mengunakan eksperimen lapangan. Pengamatan karakter dilakukan pada 100 tanaman sapel yang dipilih secara acak. Penanaman dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo 2:1 menggunakan satu bibit/lobang tanam. Variabel pengamatan yang diamati sebanyak 18. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah anakan produktif tergolong sedikit, tipe malai antara kompak dan sedang, poros malai terkulai, panjang malai 21,45 cm, warna ruas batang berwarna hijau, diameter ruas batang bawah 7,85 mm, warna ujung gabah berwarna ungu. Panjang biji 7,65 mm, lebar biji 2,53 mm, bentuk biji agak membulat, keluarnya malai seluruh malai dan leher keluar, ketegaran batang agak kuat, kerontokan tergolong mudah, gabah per malai 166 butir,  fertilitas gabah tergolong fertil. Tinggi tanaman tergolong pendek yaitu 88,10 cm, umur tanaman tergolong dalam yaitu 236 hari dan bobot 1000 butir 18,07g. Kata kunci:, Generatif, Karakter Agronomi, Karakter  Morfologi, Padi Beras  Hitam, Varietas Lokal

Abstract

Penyakit blas yang disebabkan oleh cendawan Pyricularia oryzae  merupakan salah satu penyakit utama yang menyerang tanaman padi di Indonesia, Penyakit blas sebelumnya diketahui hanya menyerang padi gogo tetapi saat ini penyebaran penyakit blas sudah menyerang pertanaman padi sawah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji ketahanan beberapa vairetas padi terhadap penyakit blas (Pyricularia oryzae). Jenis varietas padi yang digunakan adalah Pandan wangi, Ketupat, Pulut Putih, Inpari 32, dan Ciherang. Inokulasi patogen dilakukan dengan cara disemprotkan suspensi konidia dan penempelan biakan murni. Serangan penyakit blas pada varietas padi Ciherang merupakan yang tertinggi mencapai 46,67% - 100% (semprot dan tempel) dan serangan terendah 0% pada varietas padi sawah (padi wangi, pulut putih, dan ketupat), fase timbulnya gejala terhitung pada 6-10 hari setelah inokulasi.Kata kunci: Padi (Oryza sativa), blas, Pyricularia oryzae, resisten.
