Abstract

Trichoderma spp is a cosmopolitan ground fungus. Trichoderma is a soil saprophyte fungus is advantageous for plants. Several species of Trichoderma indicate having the ability as a bio-fertilizer so as to help plant growth. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture Faculty of University of Tanjungpura Pontianak for 7 months. The exploration is done from rhizosphere rice tidal rice which is considered fertile, less fertile and irrigation channel. Isolation using dilution casting method. Dilution rate is 10-1,10-2,10-3,10-4. Each Trichoderma isolate is tested for its ability as a biological fertilizer such as dissolving phosphate, dissolving potassium, degrading cellulose, producing IAA. Isolates classified as superior tested hypovirulen seed cucumber. Exploration results obtained by 38 isolates Trichoderma spp. Based on solvent test of phosphate isolate TRTS6 has the highest potential with solvent index of 72%. In subsequent tests Trichoderma was not found to dissolve K, degrade cellulose or produce IAA. Trichoderma spp species found from exploratory results include T. harzianum, T. auoreoviride, T. hamatum, T. psudokoningii T. koningii, T. koningii sp. Calculation of Disease Severity Index (DSI) in hypovirulent test 5 potential isolates inoculated on cucumber plant showed 0% value. Type of Trichoderma harzianum (TSTS6) is a recommended as a fungus that can be used as a bilogical fertilizer in dissolving phospate. Key words: Cosmopolitan, exploration, saprofit fungi, Trichoderma.

Abstract

Antraknosa merupakan penyakit penting pada cabai. Penyakit disebabkan oleh Colletotrichum sp. Pengendalian menggunakan agens hanyati adalah pilihan yang dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan penggunaaan fungisida kimia  sintetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi kamir yang berasal dari filosfer buah cabai sebagai antagonis terhadap Colletotrichum sp. Penelitian ini meliputi eksplorasi kamir, isolasi Colletotrichum sp, uji antagonis, uji filtrat kamir terhadap Colletotrichum sp.. Kamir yang didapatkan dari filosfer buah cabai adalah sebanya 8 isolat, dan semuanya bersifat antagonis terhadap Colletotrichum sp, dengan kisaran antara 47% sampai dengan 53% Uji filtrat dilakukan menggunakan 3 isolat kamir dengan daya  antagonis lebih dari 50% yaitu : isolat Y3, Y6, dan Y8. Hasil uji filtrat kamir menunjukkan isolat Y3 dapat menghambat perkecambahan spora Colletotrichum sp, lebih besar dibandingkan dengan Isolat Y6 dan Y8 Kata kunci : agens hayati, fungisida kimia sintetik, uji filtrat

Abstract

KARAKTERISASI MORFOLOGI FASE VEGETATIF PADI BERAS HITAM SELASIH ASAL BELITANG HULU KABUPATEN SEKADAU Kingkun karismando (1), Tantri Palupi (2), Fadjar Rianto (2)(1)    Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian, dan (2) Staf Pengajar Fakultas PertanianUniverisitas Tanjungpura Pontianak ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di dusun Cendrawasih, Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kuburaya. Penelitian berlangsung selama 6 bulan dari 25 april sampai 30 oktober 2019. Penelitian mengunakan eksperimen lapangan dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo 2:1 dengan penanaman mengunakan satu bibit/lobang tanam, sampel yang diamati sebanyak 100 dengan 15 variabel pengamatan.  Karakter padi beras hitam lokal di Kalimantan Barat perlu dilakukan untuk memahami sifat dan karakter padi hitam. Karakter yang dimiliki padi beras hitam Selasih yang baik dapat dimanfaatkan untuk program pemuliaan. Hasil pengamatan karakter morfologi fase vegetatif  yang dimiliki padi beras hitam Selasih adalah bentuk lidah daun 2-cleft, panjang lidah daun tergolong panjang, sudut daun tergolong tegak, sudut daun bendera tergolong tegak, warna leher daun tergolong hijau muda, warna telinga daun tergolong putih, warna pelepah daun tergolong hijau, warna lidah daun tergolong putih, permukaan daun tergolong sedang, sudut batang tergolong sedang, panjang daun tergolong sedang, lebar daun tergolong sedang, jumlah anakan tergolong banyak, dan tinggi tanaman tergolong pendek. Kata kunci: Karakterisasi, Padi beras hitam, Varietas lokal

Abstract

 Blast is important disease of rice, and it caused by Pyricularia oryzae Cav. Synthetic fungicide in plant disease control may have negative impacts, so another alternative is needed. Yeast can used as a biocontrol agent. This research aims to investigate the potential of the yeast from leaf phyllosphere of rice paddy as biocontrol agent against P. oryzae. This research  was consisted of yeast exploration, isolation and filtrate antagonistic inhibition essay to P. oryzae, and yeast growth respon due to temperature. Ten isolates successfully obtained and tested as antagonist to P. oryzae. Five isolates, YLP05; YLP07; YLP08; YLP09; YLP10, have percentage inhibition more than 30% at 3 dai (day after incubation) dan more than 50% at 7 dai, but their filtrate had not shown any inhibition activity.  The five isolates had been formed colony on 1st day at 30°C.  Based on diameter and percentage of forming colony, the optimal temperature is different for each yeast isolates. Four isolates which can still grow at 20-40oC those are YPL05, YLP07, YLP09, and, YLP10.

Abstract

The production of black rice has decreased due to disease attacks. One way to improve rice resistance to disease is through the induction of mutations with gamma ray radiation. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the resistance of black rice induced by Co-60 by 0 Gy, 200 Gy and 300 Gy against disease. The research was conducted on BBI's land in Sungai Kakap Village, Kubu Raya Regency during one planting season, from October 2017 to April 2018. This research used a descriptive research method. Each treatment was observed as many as 50 rice plants, so that the total sample of observation is 150 plants. Observations were made 3 times, during vegetative, maximum vegetative, and generative periods. Disease identification is done in two ways which are macroscopic and microscopic. Assessment of the severity of the disease is guided by the guidebook. The results of the study found 4 diseases that attack black rice mutant plants, namely narrow brown spots, leaf and collar blast disease, fusarium disease, and midrib blight. Narrow brown spot disease, rice irradiated by 200 Gy is the most resistant with medium - rather resistant category. Leaf blast disease, rice that is not irradiated is most resistant with medium - rather resistant category. Panicle blast disease, rice irradiated by 200 Gy is most resistant with medium - resistant category. Keywords: Black rice, Cobalt-60 induction, disease scoring

Abstract

ABSTRACT               Chili pepper is one of horticultural crop that is quite important in Indonesia, it has a high economic value. Chili pepper plant productivity tends to fluctuate due to Fusarium wilt disease. This study aims to suppress the development of F. oxysporum disease in chili pepper plant using compost inoculated by Trichoderma spp. which de Decomposers and as biological agent. This research was conducted at Plant Disease Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tanjungpura Pontianak. The experiment ased a randomized block design with 4 treatments: (Trichoderma spp. that has inoculated capability as dissolving cellulosa), (Trichoderma spp. Isolates as antagonists, and mixed two isolates Trichoderma spp. cellulose solvent with antagonist), and Control (EM4 as decomposer). This research is divided into two stages, on nursery and planting in the field. Trichoderma both as decomposer and antagonist treatment can suppress disease incidence at nursery 14.21%. composting give Trichoderma spp. has ent been able to stop the development Fusarium attacks on chili papper although the plant can still produce the fruit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari daya adaptasi dan produksi beberapa varietas padi unggul baru pada sawah tadah hujan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sungai Dungun Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Mempawah Provinsi Kalimantan Barat berlangsung dari Desember 2015 sampai April 2016. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok. Perlakuan dalam penelitian terdiri dari 5 jenis varietas padi yakni: A (Inpari 30), B (Inpari 32), C (Inpari 33), D (IPB 3S) dan E (IPB 4S). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali dan setiap unit percobaanterdiri dari 5 tanaman sampel. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi: tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, persentase anakan produktif, panjang malai, bobot 1000 butir, jumlah gabah per malai, persentase gabah bernas per malai, jumlah biji total per rumpun, berat gabah per petakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pertumbuhan dan produksinya yang ditanam tidak optimal dibandingkan dengan deskripsinya yang disebabkan oleh faktor genetik dan factor lingkungan. Kendala yang dihadapi saat melakukan penelitian yaitu serangan hama tikus yang mengakibatkan 3 varietas padi tidak dapat dipanen.     Kata kunci: adaptasi, padi, pertumbuhan, produksi, sawah tadah hujan, varietas unggul baru.

Abstract

KARAKTERISASI PADI BERAS HITAM ASAL KECAMATAN MANDOR PADA FASE GENERATIF DI TANAH PODSOLIK MERAH KUNING (PMK) Arianti Kuntari (1),Wasi’an(2) dan FadjarRianto (2)(1) Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian dan (2) Staf Pengajar Fakultas Pertanian   Universitas Tanjungpura ABSTRAK    Karakter morfologi padi lokal beras hitam jenis Tampi dan Sekilap sangat diperlukan. Selain memberi identitas, mengumpulkan sifat-sifat unggul yang terdapat pada padi lokal beras hitam dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai program perbaikan varietas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ciri atau karakter morfologi  fase generatif padi beras hitam asal Kecamatan Mandor pada tanah Podsolik Merah Kuning (PMK. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak selama 50 hari,mulai 29juni 2017 sampai dengan 16Agustus 2017. Penelitian menggunakan pola rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), Penelitian menggunakan pola rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), Perlakuan meliputi jenis padi hitam A (Desa Tampi) dan jenis padi hitam B (Desa Sekilap). Setiap perlakuan masing-masing diulang 48 kali. Variabel pengamatan ini adalah  tinggi tanaman, umur tanaman, anakan maksimum, persentase anakan produktif, jumlah gabah permalai, panjang malai, waktu berbunga, warna ujung gabah, keluarnya malai, tipe malai, bulu ujung gabah, jumlah malai per rumpun, persentase gabah berisi penuh, bobot 100 butir dan pengamatan lingkungan.Hasil  analisis  karakter pada padi lokal beras hitam jenis Tampi dan Sekilap yang memiliki sifat dan karakteristik yang berbeda terdapat pada anakan maksimum, warna ujung gabah, keluarnya malai, tipe malai.Karakter morfologi yang sama antara kedua jenis padi beras hitam adalah first heading,Main heading (Hari), tinggi tanaman (cm), umur tanaman (Hari), panjang malai (cm), bulu ujung gabah, persentase gabah berisi penuh, jumlah gabah per malai (bulir), jumlah malai per rumpun, persentase anakan produktif dan bobot 100 butir.  Kata kunci:Identifikasi karakter, fase generatif, padi lokal beras hitam jenis Tampi dan Sekilap

Abstract

ABSTRACTPyricularia oryzaeis one of the important pathogen in rice. Blast disease can decreasing the yield of rice production in various countries in the world. This study aims to determine diease incidence and disease severity of blast at Desa Sungai Itik, both in leaves and  panicles. This research was conducted from July to December 2017. The research was conducted in Desa Sungai Itik Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya. The variables used were disease severity and disease insidence both on leave and panicle.Blast disease was found both at leave and panicles. The disease severity of leaf between 51,85% - 59,25% and  at panicle 48,87% - 71.35%. There was a positive correlation between leaf blast and neck blast.Keywords: Disease Insidence, Disease Severity, Correlation, Pyricularia oryzae, Rice.

Abstract

Nematoda patogen serangga (NPS) S. siamkayai merupakan salah satu musuh alami yang berpotensi sebagai agen pengendali hama tanaman. Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk menguji patogenesitas S. siamkayai isolat tanah podsolik merah kuning terhadap S. litura F. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Hama tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah acak lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 4 perlakuan (150 Ji/ml, 300 Ji/ml, 600 Ji/ml dan 1200 Ji/ml) dengan 7 kali ulangan. Pengujian patogenesitas dilakukan terhadap larva S. litura F instar 3. Patogenesitas nematoda diukur berdasarkan mortalitas, periode letal dan virulensi. Gejala larva S. litura F yang terserang nematoda S. siamkayai menunjukkan gejala perubahan aktivitas larva yang menurun serta ukuran tubuh yang lebih kecil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi nematoda, menyebabkan peningkatan mortalitas S. litura F, dan tidak terdapat perbedaan antara tingkat konsentrasi. Setelah 15 hari perlakuan konsentrasi 300 Ji/ml menghasilkan jumlah Ji tertinggi yakni 8915. Periode letal mencapai 11,192 hari dan virulensi 0.089.
