Abstract

This study aims to see the learning motivation of students using a problem-based learning model assisted by wordwalls on the subject of the Cartesian coordinate system. The type of research is an experiment with the research design used, namely pre-test and post-test control group design. The population in this study was all grade VIII students of SMP MTs Negeri 1 Pagaralam. The samples used in this study are class VIII.3 (experimental class) and class VIII.5 (control class). Data collection uses documentation, tests and questionnaire methods. Then the data was processed using a statistical test of the t-test. Based on the results of the study using a problem-based learning model assisted by a wordwall, the average percentage of motivation indicators in the experimental class is 85.22%, which can be said to be very strong, and the average percentage of motivation indicators in the control class, which is 76.65%, can be said to be strong. So it can be seen that the motivation score for learning mathematics using the wordwall-assisted problem-based learning model has a high level of motivation after using the wordwall-assisted problem-based learning learning model.                                                                                             Keywords: PBL, Learning Motivation, Wordwall, Coordinate Cartesius

Abstract

The people of the village are on average engaged as vegetable farmers, in some areas they are also salak fruit farmers. MSMEs in the community certainly still use the traditional sale of vegetables and fruits to the city center or traditional markets. able to fill community activities to increase independent income or village apparatus.Salak fruit can be very helpful when farmers cannot maximize land when planting vegetables due to climatic factors. Salak fruit can be sold to souvenir traders and traders along the old village road. Vegetable dumplings in the form of wartels and spinach are maximized from vegetable processing, processed products in the form of 'Healthy snack dumplings'. The research method uses qualitative and collects all information with other journals. The community is expected to apply this knowledge regularly, provide activities to the community and to youth-I to take advantage of digitalization by making healthy snacks from vegetables to being able to sell products through social media or digital.

Abstract

This research aimed to generate a learning trajectory in an introduction to early mathematics, precisely to measure learning using educational games and Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) and to describe young children’s curiosity in learning early mathematics. Children need to have an understanding to take a measurement and use a learning trajectory to learn how to differentiate measurable and countable quantities and to tell the longer and the greater in number. The design of this research involves three phases, namely, preliminary design, experimentation, and retrospective analysis. A Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) using educational games was developed by collecting data from documentation, observations, and interviews. The results obtained from the implementation in the classroom showed that the educational games were able to help young children get to know early mathematics, particularly on measurements of lengths and volumes. There is an association with several factors in the selection of realistic problems. Communications during the game could stimulate an introduction to measurement. The use of objects in students’ vicinity also contributed to their experiments relating to measurement. The results of this research inform policymaking for teachers in designing learning in the classroom in introducing early mathematics based on educational games and Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).

Abstract

Aplikasi SPSS dan Mendeley adalah dua aplikasi yang sangat membantu dalam menyelesaikan suatu karya ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan pengolahan data serta sumber rujukan. Dengan berkembangnya teknologi, kedua aplikasi tersebut sangat diperlukan  dan tidak dapat dihindari dalam karya ilmiah khususnya bagi guru dan calon guru matematika. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman bagi guru dan calon guru matematika dalam menggunakan aplikasi SPSS untuk mengolah data dan aplikasi Mendeley untuk pembuatan daftar pustaka. Pemberian pemahaman tersebut dilakukan dengan cara pemateri memberikan teori dan praktek secara langsung dengan diimbangi peserta yang menggunakan laptop masing-masing yang sudah terinstal aplikasi SPSS dan Mendeley. Subjek pengabdian berasal dari kalangan guru dan calan guru matematika yang berjumlah 70 peserta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkkan bahwa guru dan calon guru matematika memperoleh pemahaman dalam menggunakan aplikasi SPSS dan Mendeley. Mereka memiliki antusias yang besar dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut dan begitu pentingnya memahami penggunaan kedua aplikasi ini. Untuk itu, aplikasi SPSS dan Mendeley menjadi wadah khususnya bagi guru dan calon guru matematika yang sedang menekuni suatu karya ilmiah dan pengolahan data. Perkembangan teknologi telah menuntut adanya pemahaman akan teknologi-teknologi terkini.  Kata kunci: Pelatihan, aplikasi SPSS, aplikasi Mendeley

Abstract

The Deep Learning approach launched by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is an approach that honors and is not a new curriculum outlined in the academic manuscript. However, there is still a lack of understanding about the Deep Learning approach, with some people thinking that Deep Learning is a curriculum, and many teachers still don’t understand how to plan and implement this approach in the classroom. This service in the form of socialization is carried out to provide teachers in Indonesia with an understanding of the implementation of Deep Learning in the digital era. The socialization was conducted online with approximately 800 participants, most teachers from various regions across Indonesia. The steps of the method used in this socialization include planning, the delivery of material, sharing during the Q&A session, and reflection. This socialization helps teachers to get to know and understand Deep Learning. It can be implemented in the classroom, leading to positive changes in the learning process, which improves students’ learning outcomes to achieve the eight graduate profiles. The result of this socialization activity was met with enthusiasm from the participants, as shown by the positive feedback during the event, such as interactive Q&A and responses from the participants, allowing them to mutually enrich each other’s learning, most of whom are teachers.

Abstract

Students' low numeracy skills impact students' learning outcomes and progress in mathematics. To improve these abilities, we can use operating system-based application learning media. The Math City Map application is a system that works on iOS/Android devices that helps students become actively involved and master the material being studied. This research aimed to see students' numeracy abilities after applying the Math City Map to statistics material. This research is research whose data uses quantitative, systematic, planned, and structured analysis. The design used in the study is an experimental Design with One Group Pre-test-Post-test Design. Tests, questionnaires, and documentation are data collection methods to assess students' numeracy skills. The results of the student test data stated that 82% of students could use numbers and symbols, 69% could analyze information, and 48% could use the analysis results to make decisions and formulate conclusions. By obtaining this percentage of students' numeracy abilities, it can be stated that using the Math City Map (MCM) application can train students to use symbols, numbers, tables, and diagrams to be more careful and thorough in analyzing information and determining answers to solve mathematical problems.

Abstract

Deep Learning is being intensively studied as it emphasizes a mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning environment and process. Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) is an approach to mathematics education that connects the learning materials with real-life situations. Based on the alignment between the definitions of the Deep Learning approach and the PMRI approach, this study aims to illustrate that Deep Learning can be achieved by integrating PMRI into learning activities. This research is a literature review that examines Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education in the context of Deep Learning. In this study, four stages were carried out: designing the review, conducting the review, abstracting and analyzing the data, and writing and compiling the review result. The data for this study were collected from articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria outlined in the research methodology and filtered through Publish or Perish. Based on a review of 15 articles, the findings indicate that Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education can be an alternative approach to achieving Deep Learning.

Abstract

Perencanaan Kegiatan pembelajaran memiliki dampak penting dalam keberhasilan belajar. Guru dalam hal ini berperan penting dalam menyusun perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran.  Masih banyak kendala yang ditemui guru dalam  menyusun rencana kegiatan pembelajaran yang berpusat padda peserta didik. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam menyusun perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik sesusai dengan prinsip pembelajraan dan asesmen. Tujuan kegiatan ini meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun perencanaan kegiatan belajar dengan menggunakan konteks perkebunan Pagaralam yang memiliki dampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan 4 tahapan, identifikasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, refleksi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini memiliki dampak positif meningkatnya kemampuan guru terlihat dari hasil pre test dan post test serta kegiatan refleksi yang sudah baik dari para peserta.
