Abstract

In the Islamic context, investing is highly recommended so that the future can be guaranteed. Of course, investments made by Muslims must be in accordance with Islamic rules. Investing in economy Islamic concepts will provide a sense of security and comfort for Muslim investors, without fear of deviating from Islamic teachings. As a devout Muslim, of course, investment choices must be appropriate and in accordance with the concept of Islam. The difference between conventional Islamic investment lies in the benefits given. The advantages of Islamic investment are in the form of profit sharing, while the conventional concept is interest. In the teachings of Islam, interest is haram, because it does not recognize value for money. In the view of Islam, money will not developed by itself but must go through productive and ruleful efforts. The purpose of making this paper is to discuss the advantages and risks in Islamic investment. This paper uses a literature review approach that comes from journals, books, the internet, and other sources. The results show that the advantages of Islamic investment are riba-free, minimal risk, Islamic management, halal and promoting social activities. Meanwhile, the risks that may be faced by investors are the risk of losing capital, the risk of uncertainty of return, and the difficulty of selling investment products. From the results, it was found that currently Islamic investment products are favored by non-Muslims alike. The concept of profit sharing is considered more profitable than interest. It can be concluded that Islamic rules can now be accepted by various groups of people in the world.

Abstract

Kelompok masyarakat desa karya pandai besi merupakan masyarakat yang memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai perajin pandai besi, yang berlokasi di desa Baregbeg kabupaten Ciamis. Mata pencaharian sebagai perajin pandai besi sudah ada sejak puluhan bahkan ratusan tahun yang lalu, sehingga mata pencaharian ini selain memiliki nilai ekonomi juga memiliki nilai sejarah dan budaya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut kelompok desa karya pandai besi dapat dikembangkan menjadi wisata edukasi yang nantinya mampu meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat. Namun, dalam perkembangannya kelompok masyarakat ini menghadapi permasalahan yang cukup banyak, diantaranya belum adanya konsep dan kebijakan pembentukan wisata edukasi pandai besi, serta belum terbentuknya Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) yang mampu menjembatani untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk membentuk wisata edukasi pandai besi dan membentuk Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) desa karya pandai besi. Bahan dan metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM, yaitu metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), yaitu sebuah metode yang mengajak masyarakat ikut terjun langsung pada kegiatan pembangunan maupun pengembangan. Adapun langkah-langkah yang dilakukan diantaranya sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian, yaitu terbentuknya wisata edukasi pandai besi, sehingga mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan baru, diantaranya pembuatan merchandise sebagai ciri khas wisata. Selain itu, kegiatan PKM ini berhasil membentuk Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) desa karya pandai besi. Dari penjelasan tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terbentuknya wisata edukasi pandai besi dan KUBE dapat dilakukan dengan adanya kerjasama antara masyarakat, akademisi, dan pemerintah, sehingga potensi yang ada disetiap wilayah mampu berkembang sesuai dengan tujuan yang sudah ditetapkan.

Abstract

Environmental and technological changes are unavoidable for organizations, thereby making survival dependent on the ability to adapt to the demands of these changes. This signifies a critical weakness for Galuh University, as the current lack of optimal talent management leads to a deficit in skills. Talent management has not been integrated with operational personnel activities in the procurement, placement, development, and retention of human resources (HR) resulting in inadequate skills among lecturers and education staff. Therefore, this study aims to elucidate talent management performed by Galuh University in response to environmental changes. A qualitative method was used in analyzing the actual condition of the university. Participants constituted top management of Galuh University who provided information about talent attraction, development, and retention. The results signified that talent management at Galuh University lacked proper planning, and no talent pool was available. Failure to keep pace with these changes threatens the university’s survival. HR should be optimized to anticipate environmental changes. Highly skilled personnel serve as an essential potential for organization capable of coping with environmental changes. Consequently, Galuh University is expected to execute talent management optimally.

Abstract

Employee performance at the P2KBP3A Service is not optimal, which can be seen from the delays in completing work and the work results achieved are not in accordance with the established standards. Then the performance of these employees is also influenced by the merit system which is not optimal, which is caused by the fact that ASN are still found not showing their professionalism in serving the community and an attitude of underestimating work arises because they realize that they have the abilities and expertise that are highly expected and are the mainstay of the leadership. Employee performance is also influenced by motivation which is not optimal, this is caused by the lack of dedication and loyalty of employees in working even though they have received a decent salary and the level of promotion for employees who excel is not optimal. This study aims to study, find out, and analyze (1) The effect of the merit system on the performance of employees at the P2KBP3A Service of Ciamis Regency. (2) The effect of motivation on the performance of employees at the P2KBP3A Service of Ciamis Regency. (3) The effect of the merit system and motivation on the performance of employees at the P2KBP3A Service of Ciamis Regency. This type of research is an explanatory survey, while the technical data analysis is validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistics, Inductive Statistical Analysis (Inferential) with Multiple Regression. The results of the study inform that (1) The merit system has a positive effect on employee performance at the P2KBP3A Office of Ciamis Regency. This means that if the merit system is improved, then employee performance at the P2KBP3A Office of Ciamis Regency will also increase. (2) Motivation has a positive effect on employee performance at the P2KBP3A Office of Ciamis Regency. This means that if motivation is improved, then employee performance at the P2KBP3A Office of Ciamis Regency will also increase. (3) The merit system and motivation have a positive effect on employee performance at the P2KBP3A Office of Ciamis Regency.

(2) The effectiveness of employee work at the Banjarsari District Office, Ciamis Regency. (3) The effect of the management information system on the effectiveness of employee work at the Banjarsari District Office, Ciamis Regency The method used in this study is an explanatory survey, while the technical data analysis, namely validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistics, Inductive Statistical Analysis (Inferential) with Simple Linear Regression. The results of the study inform that (1) The information management system in the Banjarsari District Office, Ciamis Regency is very high. The highest value on the system quality indicator and the lowest value on the usage indicator. (2) The effectiveness of employee work at the Banjarsari District Office, Ciamis Regency is very high. The highest value on the time measurement indicator and the lowest value on the result measurement indicator. (3) The information management system has a positive effect on the effectiveness of employee work at the Banjarsari District Office, Ciamis Regency. This means that if the information management system is improved, the effectiveness of employee work at the Banjarsari District Office, Ciamis Regency will also increase.

Abstract

Sadana District implements community-based tourism as an empowerment approach that involves and places the community as an important actor in the context of a new development paradigm, namely sustainable development (Sustainable Development Paradigm). The purpose of community empowerment itself is basically to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of each individual, so that they have the ability to work and strive independently in order to improve their quality of life. In addition, the purpose of empowerment is to increase the potential of the community in order to be able to improve a better quality of life for all community members through self-help activities (Sutarto, 2007:153) This type of research is field research directly from the community through interviews, documentation and other tools which are primary data. Primary data was obtained by themselves from the community and still needs further analysis. Field research is a research that aims to research something that happens in the community, in this case the location to be studied is in Bendasari Village, Gunungsari Village and Tanjungsari Village, Sadananya District, Ciamis Regency. The nature of the research used in this study is qualitative descriptive research. The definition of descriptive is research that seeks to tell a solution to existing problems based on data, presenting data, analyzing and interpreting. The qualitative research is data collection carried out under natural conditions, primary data sources and data collection techniques are more on in-depth observation and interviews and documentation. Qualitative research is to make a systematic, factual and accurate analysis of facts or characteristics of a certain population or region. Based on the description of the results of the research and discussions that have been carried out, the researcher can draw conclusions, including the development efforts in the Bendasari, Tanjungsari, and Gunungsari Tourism Villages taken through: (a) Human resource development is carried out through training, discussions, and others. (b) Partnership with River Tubing, Taruna Karya, PLN, the Resque sector, and parties engaged in the tourism sector. (c) Village Government activities, namely holding meetings, discussions, and sports together. (d) Promotion through social media, through word of mouth, publication. (e) Festival or competition, namely a songbird competition held at the Bukit Bubulak tourist attraction, Bendasari Village. (f) Fostering community organizations by inviting the community to participate in the management of Tourism Villages. (e) Cooperation with universities or universities in Ciamis Regency and its surroundings.

Abstract

Abstract The Blacksmith Village community group is one of the community groups whose livelihood is  blacksmithing, so they can produce work that has economic value. However, in the process, this  community group faces many problems, including the use of traditional production tools, so the number  of goods produced every day still needs to be improved. The PKM activities aim to resolve the problems  faced by partners, namely by using more modern production equipment such as forging machines. The  method implemented in PKM activities is a method that involves the community directly in participating  in each PKM program that is implemented, through socialization, training and practice, mentoring,  evaluation, and sustainability of the program after the PKM is completed. The results of PKM activities  show that partners' understanding regarding the use of forging machines has increased based on the  results of distributing questionnaires, namely from 50% to 90%. Apart from that, the use of forging  machines can increase the quantity of goods produced every day from 1-2 pieces of equipment to 3 pieces  of equipment. Based on this, it can be concluded that the use of more modern equipment can help  partners/craftsmen to increase the quantity of goods produced. Abstrak Kelompok masyarakat desa karya pandai besi merupakan salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang memiliki  mata pencaharian sebagai pandai besi, sehingga mereka mampu mengahsilkan karya yang memiliki nilai  ekonomi. Namun dalam prosesnya kelompok masyarakat ini menghadapi banyak permasalahan,  diantaranya penggunaan alat produksi yang masih tradisional, sehingga jumlah barang yang dihasilkan  setiap harinya masih belum maksimal. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksnakan bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan  permaslahan yang dihadapi mitra, yaitu dengan menggunaan alat produksi yang lebih modern seperti  mesin tempa. Metode yang dilaksakan dalam kegiatan PKM, yaitu metode yang melibatkan masyarakat  secara langsung untuk mengikuti setiap program PKM yang dilaksankan, melalui langkah-langkah  sosialisasi, pelatihan dan praktek, pendampingan, evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program setelah PKM  selesai dilaksanakan. Hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukan bahwa pemahaman mitra terkait penggunaan  mesin tempa meningkat berdasarkan hasil penyebaran kuesioner, yaitu dari 50% menjadi 90%. Selain  itu, penggunaan mesin tempa mampu meningkatkan kuantitas barang yang dihasilkan setiap harinya dari  yang awalnya 1-2 kodi alat perkakas menjadi 3 kodi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat ditarik kesimpulan  bahwa penggunaan peralatan yang lebih modern dapat membantu mitra/perajin untuk meningkatkan  kuantitas barang yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

The Dokdak Village blacksmith community group is a community whose majority livelihood is as blacksmith craftsmen with a total of 27 craftsmen. This community group is located in Baregbeg village, Ciamis district. The Blacksmith Village community group has quite a lot of problems, one of which is the use of traditional means of producing goods. This causes the low quality of the goods produced, so they are still unable to compete with those produced outside the Ciamis district area. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to use modern goods production equipment, namely belt grinder machines to improve the quality of the goods produced. The method used in this service activity is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) with the steps taken, namely socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring, and evaluation as well as program sustainability activities after the service is completed. The results of service activities show that community knowledge and understanding regarding the use of belt grinder machines increased from 50% to 80%. Apart from that, the use of a belt grinder machine can improve the quality of the goods produced, increasing the selling value of goods that were initially sold for IDR 50,000 to IDR 150,000. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the use of modern goods production tools can help solve the problems faced by craftsmen.
