Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the government to take Lock Down, PSBB, New Era, PPKM policies. This policy resulted in schools and public places being closed or reduced mobility. This can trigger changes in lifestyle and physical activity for physical education teachers. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze changes in lifestyle and physical activity of physical education teachers before and during the pandemic. The research method was carried out with quantitative descriptive where in data collection using a questionnaire with the help of the google form platform. The research subjects were 100 physical education teachers (aged 24-53 years, 29% female). The results of this study are that there are changes in the exercise performed, the frequency and duration of exercise tend to decrease, the frequency of eating tends to be the same, and the duration of sleep tends to decrease. The conclusion of the research is that there are changes in lifestyle and physical activity for physical education teachers during the pandemic. Suggestions for physical education teachers can rearrange lifestyle and physical activity so that they can increase immunity as one of the prevention of covid 19 transmission.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the motivation and fighting spirit of badminton athletes through the implementation of goal setting strategies and intensive psychological assistance. The main focus is to equip young athletes with the ability to manage mental stress and set clear training goals so that they consistently train and are ready to face competitions with confidence. In addition, this service also contributes to athlete development at the community level by building a training ecosystem that supports comprehensive mental and emotional development, as well as increasing the capacity of coaches in implementing effective psychological approaches. The methods used include goal setting technique workshop training, group counseling sessions to share experiences, and routine assistance for three months. The implementation is carried out at local badminton clubs, involving athletes, coaches, and club administrators. Each stage begins with measuring the motivation and mental readiness of athletes using psychological instruments, followed by providing interactive materials and practices, and ending with an evaluation to ensure positive changes. It is hoped that the results of this service will create badminton athletes who are technically superior and mentally tough, able to compete better, and have a long-term positive impact on regional sports development. This service supports the development of human resources for badminton sports in a sustainable and comprehensive manner.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a handball development program for children in creating a healthy and accomplished generation. In addition, the program also teaches the value of sportsmanship and cooperation. Method: Although there are challenges in the implementation of the program, such as lack of facilities and parental support, collaboration between schools and communities can increase the success of the handball development program among children. Results: The participation of the government and schools in this program is necessary, in addition to improving cardiovascular ability, strength and coordination, the students will have good sportsmanship values, discipline and confidence. Novelty: This finding confirms the importance of sports development, especially handball, as a strategic step to form a healthier and more accomplished generation.

Abstract

Gamifikasi telah menjadi pendekatan inovatif dalam pendidikan, termasuk dalam pelatihan pelatih olahraga, dengan tujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan peserta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas gamifikasi dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan calon pelatih olahraga selama proses pembelajaran. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan desain eksperimen semu, melibatkan kelompok eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran berbasis gamifikasi dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner skala motivasi dan keterlibatan yang telah divalidasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik parametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam motivasi dan keterlibatan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan gamifikasi dalam pelatihan pelatih olahraga memiliki dampak positif terhadap partisipasi aktif dan pengalaman belajar peserta. Implikasi dari temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi institusi pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the bleep test on cardiovascular endurance at SMK Negri 2 Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research with experimental methods. In this study used a two-group design with pretest and posttest. The sample in this study were 10 students of SMK Negri 2 Surabaya. The results of experimental research 1 sig value. (2 tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 then Ha is accepted which means there is an effect of Interval training on cardiovascular endurance, experiment 2 obtained a sig value. (2 tailed) of 0.004 <0.05, then Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an average difference in pretest results. The above results mean that interval training and shuttle run training is one of the most effective exercises to improve physical condition.  This is due to the provision of interval training and shuttle run exercises. After getting data and calculating it can be said that interval training and shuttle run can increase the cardiovascular endurance of futsal extracurricular SMKN 2 Surabaya.

Abstract

Kegiatan PPM oleh Tim Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Fakultas Keguruan Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya bersama kickboxing Kota Surabaya berhasil dilaksanakan. Acara dihadiri oleh 21 atlet dan 2 pelatih. Proses meliputi perencanaan, koordinasi dengan KONI, penyusunan tes fisik, simulasi tes, sosialisasi, dan pelaksanaan tes. Hasil tes memberikan dasar bagi program latihan atlet. Faktor seperti perencanaan latihan, nutrisi, dan istirahat menjadi fokus dalam meningkatkan performa. Kesimpulannya, program latihan yang terukur dan pemahaman akan pentingnya gaya hidup sehat dan imunitas diharapkan dapat meningkatkan prestasi atlet kickboxing.

Abstract

This study focuses on improving the physical fitness of elementary students, particularly those in grades 3-6 at SSB Bima Amora, as fitness is crucial for soccer performance. Better physical fitness can enhance achievements in soccer competitions. The study aims to benefit SSB Bima Amora Gresik students by promoting physical conditioning. A quantitative experimental method was used, involving 30 students aged 9-11 years, divided into 15 for the experimental group and 15 for the control group. Data collection was conducted through pretest and posttest assessments. The analysis in Chapter IV showed a p-value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. The significance test (2-tailed) confirmed a positive impact on students' physical fitness, contributing to better soccer performance among 9-11-year-old students in Menganti, Gresik.

Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani merupakan aspek fundamental dalam mendukung kesehatan, produktivitas, dan prestasi, baik di bidang akademik maupun olahraga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas program latihan fisik terstruktur terhadap peningkatan kebugaran jasmani siswa Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Bima Amora, Gresik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, melibatkan 20 siswa berusia 9–11 tahun sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes lapangan untuk mengukur kemampuan fisik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dengan nilai p < 0,05, yang menegaskan bahwa program latihan fisik efektif dalam meningkatkan daya tahan, kekuatan, dan performa olahraga siswa. Temuan ini memperkuat pandangan bahwa pembinaan kebugaran jasmani sejak usia dini tidak hanya berdampak pada prestasi olahraga, tetapi juga mendukung perkembangan disiplin, konsentrasi, serta kebiasaan hidup sehat. Oleh karena itu, program latihan terstruktur di sekolah sepak bola dapat dijadikan strategi efektif dan berkelanjutan dalam mengembangkan potensi atlet muda di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas latihan Chudan Tsuki menggunakan media karet ban dalam meningkatkan power lengan pada siswa ekstrakurikuler karate di SMA Antartika Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, menggunakan desain non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler karate, dengan pengambilan sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengukuran yang digunakan adalah medicine ball test, yang dianggap tepat untuk menilai kekuatan dan daya ledak otot lengan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan latihan menggunakan karet ban dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak memperoleh perlakuan serupa. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan karet ban sebagai media latihan mampu meningkatkan power lengan secara lebih efektif, khususnya pada teknik dasar pukulan Chudan Tsuki. Dengan demikian, latihan menggunakan karet ban dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang sederhana, praktis, dan bermanfaat bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan karate, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pembinaan prestasi olahraga di tingkat sekolah menengah.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the match notations between the men's singles matches in Rio 2016 and Rio 2020. It is urgent to discuss this matter because the Olympics is a routine event held every 4 years, to prepare for the next Olympics, team officials can evaluate the Rio match resume. 2016 and Tokyo 2020. This research is classified as quantitative research and the method used is audiovisual analysis. The sample for this research is the men's singles final match for badminton) at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Beijing Olympics. Data collection procedures, data were obtained from the IOC (international Olympic Committee's) website. The spreadsheet used to collect data was using a spreadsheet in the Excel 2019 application. Data analysis was used, namely the difference test with the help of SPSS 21. The results of the research obtained a description of the hitting techniques carried out up to the rally and rest times as well as comparisons. The conclusion obtained is that there is a difference between rally time and rest time between the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 matches.
