Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the principles of politeness in the Central Market of Anjungan which include compliance with the principles of politeness, language deviation, and implementation of Bahasa Indonesian in schools according to the 2013 curriculum. The form of research used is qualitative with descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study are traders and buyers located at the Central Market of Anjungan. The data collection techniques used were listening techniques which had basic techniques (tapping technique), advanced techniques (listening technique without engaging proficiently), advanced techniques (recording technique), and advanced techniques (note technique). Techniques for checking the validity of data are peer examination and observation conditions. Based on the data analysis, it was found that there were 115 data on the principles of politeness, which were divided into obedience data and 40 deviation data. This study describes the lesson plan that will be carried out in school with Bahasa Indonesia RPP curriculum 2013 even semester class X regarding the negotiating text.Keyword: Politeness Principle, Politeness, Market, Anjongan District

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of vocabulary that appear in the language ofchildren aged 3-4 years through traditional games and songs at Sekadau Hulu, and in termsof psycholinguistic behaviorism. This study uses the theory of Psycholinguistic Behaviorism.The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative form. The data source of thisresearch is the speech of children aged 3-4 years which is obtained from traditional gamesand songs. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview,conversational engagement, peer and note-taking techniques. The results of this studyconclude that aspects of linguistic behavior that can be observed directly and therelationship between stimuli (stimulus) and reactions (responses). There are four types ofvocabulary that emerge through the traditional games and songs of Sekadau Hulu Malayuin children aged 3-4 years, namely noun vocabulary, working vocabulary, charactervocabulary, and number vocabulary. There are four types of vacabulary that childrenacquire through traditional games, namely 13 object vocabularies, nine workingvocabularies, two number vocabularies, and two natural vocabularies. While the vocabularyacquired by children through traditional singing consists of four types of vocabulary, namely33 nouns, 11 working vocabulary, one numeric vocabulary, and four character vocabularies.Keywords: Behaviorism, Children aged 3-4 years, Traditional song-games, VocabularyAcquistion.

Abstract

Color is the conveyance of ideas and information from its users. Likewise, the life of the Malays in Sambas Regency cannot be separated from color. This canbe seen from their penchant for striking color combinations and the formation of unique color naming. The method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. Which aims to describe (1) the lingual unit of color markers and the cultural meaning of the concept of using color. The approach used is ethnolinguistics. The data source is in the form of lingual units from the speech of the Sambas Malay community. Collecting data using note-taking techniques and documentary studies, researchers as a data collection tool. The results showed thatthe Sambas Malay community recognized 9 color names, namely putteh 'white', ittam' black', red 'red', ijjau 'green', yellow 'yellow', brown 'chocolate', gray 'gray'and 2 non- basic colors are blue 'blue' and manganese 'purple'. 75 derivative colors were found with adjective, noun, and verb attributes from the nine colors. The most dominating attribute is the plant noun. Second, the cultural meaning of the concept of using color in the Sambas Malay community is divided into verbal and non-verbal domains. There are 4 colors used in the verbal domain, namely putteh 'white', ittam 'black', red 'red', and ijjau 'green'. Furthermore, there are 4 colors used in the nonverbal domain, including putteh 'white', ijjau 'green', yellow'yellow', and red 'red'.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of naming, and the meaning of naming lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah based on naming lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah: a semantic study. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the speech of informants who understand the naming of lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview techniques, note-taking techniques, and recording techniques. Based on all the data that has been analyzed, there are naming bases that can be classified into six, namely 19 data for naming places based on plants, 10 data for naming places based on people's names, 2 data for naming places based on people's actions, 13 data for naming places based on stories, 2 data for naming places based on geographical conditions, and 1 place naming data based on buildings. The total number of data is 47 data. The form of naming consists of monomorphemic, polymorphemic, and phrase form. Monomorphism in noun form is 14 words, and verb form is 1 word. Polymorphemic in the form of affixation as much as 1 word. Phrases in noun form are 27 words, adjective forms are 1 word, and in verb form are 2 words. The meaning of naming consists of 4 types of meaning, namely lexical meaning there are 24 data, grammatical meaning is 10 data, referential meaning is 7 data, and associative meaning is 1 data.

Abstract

This research was conducted by analyzing the terminology in the Jadi Mali procession in the Dayak Kerabat Menyapat community with the aim of describing an inventory of terminology in the Jadi Mali procession in the Dayak Kerabat Penyepat community, describing the form of lingual units of terminology in the Jadi Mali procession in the Dayak Kerabat Penyapat community, describing the meaning of the term in the Jadi Mali procession for the Dayak Kerabat Penyapat community, and describes the plan for implementing the terminology in the Jadi Mali procession for the Dayak Kerabat Penyapat community. The method used is a descriptive method and a form of qualitative research. The data source for this research is the Dayak Kerabat Penyepat language which is used in the customs of the Dayak Kerabat Menyapa community. The data of this research are words and phrases. The technique used is literature study, face-to-face conversation, and note-taking. Data collection tools are documents, questionnaires, and note sheets. Based on the analysis conducted, there are 90 terminology in the Jadi Mali procession consisting of words (monomorphemic, polymorphemic, affixation, and compound words) and phrases. The form of learning implementation contained in the RPP is adjusted to the 2013 curriculum for grade VII junior high school in odd semesters.Keywords:Jadi Mali, Semantics, and Terminology

Abstract

This research was conducted by analyzing the Malay song Sambas by Bulyan Musthafa with the aim of knowing the forms of metaphor in the song and its relation to the environment in which it was formed. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The data sources for this research are 14 songs by Bulyan Mustafa which are divided into two albums in two different YouTube channels. The data in this study are in the form of song lyrics that contain metaphorical forms. The research technique used is observational technique and documentary study. The first data collection tool used is writing instruments, the second is a mobile device, and the third is a laptop. Based on the data analysis conducted in the Malay Song Sambas by Bulyan Musthafa, there are several forms of metaphor that are related to the environment in which they are formed. The form of learning text related to Ecolinguistic Metaphor in Bulyan Mustafa's Malay Song Sambas is an E-Module of Poetry Text that will be adapted to the 2013 curriculum learning at the X grade high school level.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about Indonesian language acquisition in children with special needs (Down Syndrome) case study of Ahmad Zakir Ma Arif, psycholinguistic studies. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research form. The data source of this research is obtained directly from the subject of a child with Down syndrome, the research data is Indonesian sentence patterns in accordance with the formulation of the selected problem. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data collection tools used are recording devices, stationery. After that, the results of the analysis show that declarative sentences (news) are 20 sentences, imperative sentences (orders) are 10 sentences. Interrogative sentences (question) as many as 3 sentences. From the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the most dominant sentence obtained by children with Down syndrome is a declarative sentence, actually children with Down syndrome understand what other people say, but they only have difficulty pronouncing words to answer what other people say, therefore parents must early train and conduct therapy for children with Down syndrome.

Abstract

Language that is in accordance with norms and culture to maintain social relations is an important key in communication. Language politeness is often found in daily activities, including in the school environment. Schools have a big role in shaping students' language impressions. The family and community of course also take part and work together in supporting the role of schools in creating children's personalities who are polite in speaking. This research focuses on analyzing language impressions in learning, especially in response text material at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. This research aims to find out and understand how compliance and violations of language politeness occur at SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya, especially in responding discussions and creating response texts. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used is an observation technique adapted to the proficient free-involved listening technique (SBLC) and note-taking technique. Apart from that, recording techniques were also used in this research. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data transcription, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that student interactions include the six maxims proposed by Leech, both compliance and deviation from the principles of language politeness.

Abstract

This study describes the phoneme acquisition of children aged 2"“3 years in Sambas Malay Dialect, as well as environmental influences that influence language acquisition. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative research form. Sources of research data are children with an age range of 2−3 years. The data in this study are words and phrases. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tapping, listening to engagement, recording, and taking notes. Data collection tools are gadgets and notebooks. Testing the validity of the data is done with the persistence of observers and adequacy of references. The data obtained by the first subject amounted to 26, the second subject 49, and the third subject 58 utterances. The results of the first subject analysis obtained four consonant phonemes and three vowel phonemes. The phonemes produced by the second subject are eleven consonant phonemes and four vowel phonemes. The phonemes produced by the third subject are ten consonant phonemes and three vowel phonemes. Factors that influence language acquisition are biology, environment, intelligence, and motivation. Implementation of learning is in the form of an e-module text of the report on the results of observations in class X odd semester.

Abstract

The study of the Dayak Kebahan Penyelopat proverbs was carried out based on the existence of proverbs in the Dayak Kebahan Pelopat community which are currently rarely used. Proverb research aims to inventory, classify the types, forms, functions and meanings of Dayak Kebahan Penyelopat proverbs using semantic studies. The method used in this research is a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. This research uses observation, interview, recording and note-taking techniques, and documentation study. The sources of data in this study are the traditional temanggung and the Dayak Kebahan Penyelopat community. The study managed to inventory 68 proverbs. These proverbs are grouped by type, namely proverbs, parables, expressions, imagery, teromba, pendita's tongue, and simile. The most prominent type of Dayak Kebahan Penyelopat proverb is the proverb. The types of proverbs of Dayak Kebahan Penyelopat in this study are classified based on the types of proverbs, namely 29 types of proverbs, 12 types of parables, 14 types of expressions, 6 types of imagery, 2 types of teromba, 4 types of pendita's tongue, and 1 type of simile. The function of the Dayak Kebahan Penyelopat proverb in this study is classified based on the function of proverbs as advice totaling 27, the function of proverbs as satire amounting to 35, the function of proverbs as compliments amounting to 4, the function of proverbs as a diplomatic language amounting to 1, and the function of proverbs as customary law 1.
